Nice park. To much money if you can't ride the rides. Seats on rides are way to small. Should tell you that before you go and spend that much money to go for a walk to look at badly dressed people. I could have done that at home. Staff are not all that friendly. If they don't like their jobs quit so someone else can have it. Would not waste the money to ever go again. The coasters were very awesome I was told.

Cedar Point is always a good place to waste an afternoon, especially with the Gold Pass deal. But clearly everyone else had the same idea, and the park was packed!
We went on a Halloweekend day, but at least half the rides weren't open. None of the outside scares were open - the whole reason we came this weekend - and they closed all the food early, so they ended up losing money when we got food after we left the park.
Lastly, they're selling more Fast Passes than they probably should - one ride had a 180min wait for normal riders, and a 45min wait for Fast Pass! That's the only way to ride though, since otherwise you'll only fit in one or two rides in your entire afternoon.

Lots of fun roller coasters. They have a large variety of big roller coasters with steep drops and smaller roller coasters. The rides wait times aren't very long at all. I waited no longer than 30 minutes in line and that was for the main attraction roller coasters.

Cedar Point features the best rollercoaster collection in the world! It's also world headquarters to Cedar Fair, who owns other amusement parks around the country, this features amazing assortment of the "latest and greatest" rides.

Complete resort experience, stay at their Hotel Breakers for a beach, live band music on the beach, whirlpools, heated outdoor pools, onsite dining.

I would give Cedar Point 5-star hands down if there were a show variety: Don't expect shows like live action stunt, ice skating, " Cirque dul Soliel" style shows. However they do have great, local bands.

Also I would give Cedar Point 5-star if there were a better assortment of healthy food options in the Park. While they do have wonderfully themed onsite eating like a 50's diner, Johnny Rockets, and others like Chick-fil-A it's challenging to find "entree-style" dinners. I do like BackBeatQue located behind Dragster. Descent dining for a great dinner!

Rides constantly shut down for maintenance.. get out of line for one.. wait for 30 minutes in another only for that to be shut down. Top Thrill Dragster down for 4 days in a row.

Overall the park was clean and the staff was a mixed bag. Some very friendly and some outright rude to guests.

if you love roller coasters this park is awesome only thing is that you have to pay two separate prices for the water park and the amusement park .other than that this park is great place to spend time with your family I highly recommend coming and spending the day at cedar point

A truly amazing park! Do expect weather delays for the coasters, as it is a coastal park, and they have different regulations when it comes to weather (the great lakes are unpredictable ).

A few rides to make sure to ride when visiting:
Steel Vengeance
Maverick
Millennium Force
Top Thrill Dragster
Raptor

The park itself is well maintained and clean, and has a very fun and welcoming atmosphere. This is an amusement park, not a theme park, so do not expect the immersive quality of a ride at say, Disney. But if you are looking for a thrilling, fun time, this is the place to go.

Lines will get long, so I would suggest going on a weekday, but if you end up going on a weekend, make sure to be prepared to wait for a few hours.

Overall an amazing amusement park, and I would definitely recommend for any Coaster Enthusiast or Adrenaline Junkie out there.

Yesterday marks the worst experience I ve ever had at cedar point. For someone who goes there frequently, I m astounded at how terrible it was. The fact that the most popular rides had to be waited in line for hours to get an access pass AFTER you already purchase a ticket TO BE ABLE to go on the ride but then you had to RUN to get into an already hour and half long line for a different roller coaster and only for someone to walk by and say they re all out...i feel as if I have paid for a lot of water and walking, THE WORST EXPERIENCE. What is more outrageous is that I had spoken to Lori the supervisor and she refused to do a refund, which also marks a horrible customer service experience that I am not used to at cedar point that has always been accommodating any time there was ever a problem. She offered one time one person access pass.... not sure what sense that makes as I would still need to be able to get the other access passes which were limited? She said the only place it doesn t show that it s the requirement is on the home page which is pretty convenient for them as experienced people go straight to book the tickets and not search for hidden restrictions. My mind is still blown, I have reached out to corporate and waiting for a call back hopefully with a more understanding incentive. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING ANY TIME SOON unless you want to pay for a lot of water, food, walking and driving. Completely pointless and if I had known that would be the situation I would never have gone. Ruined my entire Saturday, walking is free and I feel like someone tricked me into paying for it. Will update this post once spoken with corporate.

UPDATE: Spoken to Logan, Lori s supervisor. I have to say that he was MUCH more understanding about our situation and took care of me right away which I feel like should ve been done in the first place, as I have always gotten taken care of by cedar point! Thank you Logan for doing a quick and great job!

The experience for my group of kids has been so far so good, booked the wrong day by mistake and showed up and realized it. Ended up paying a $10 difference per ticket but hey that was on me. The supervisor Meghan was helpful but the other supervisor BAILEY was very rude and unwilling to help. Luckily meghan was more understanding and helpful with her information. If my experience was left up to Bailey I would probably never come here but thankfully I wont base my entire experience on her

Awesome place. But they got a tad selfish over their regular - dedicated customers over the crazy low $99 gold offer. Closing down Sandusky in mid-October will be repeated. Lines will be very long. The short term monetary profit may hurt their future. Time is always the ultimate judge.

Fun rides, if you can even get through the lines. We drove from VA to visit and only got to ride 3 roller coasters. Waited in line for 2+ hours each. We were very disappointed after hearing such good things. Probably wouldn't go back, just not worth it for us.

SAD!! Went on Aug 28 a Wednesday. We entered right at 9 and watched the wild stampede of people to get to either Maverick or Steel Vengeance. We chose Millinum Force and proved to be the right choice. GREAT ride even after almost 20 years. Went and got in line for SV and there was a sign advising us that the Magnum was available instead of SV for early entry riders. Stood in line for about twenty minutes before an employee said maybe at 1200 it might open. So went to Maverick and it was broken down also and opened at 1035. Both broke again SV (while inline) once and Maverick twice. Went to Top Thrill Dragster and the line was 75 minutes. Noticed six possible seats were empty on every train. It was broke down for 18 days and just opened the weekend prior to our visit. Stated the problem with getting a new part shipped in. So maybe that's was the problem right there. Rode the Gemini but without racing trains it lame. Finally was able to get to ride SV and it was GREAT!! Best roller coaster I have riden ever. They added metal detectors to walk thru and stamped your hands to signify you had a cell phone/keys. They added a small pouch to each seat to store these items instead of renting a locker. Noticed that all the ride attendants were extremely slow. Maybe all the regular attendants left and went back to school and these are the ones who stayed but not very familiar with each ride? Food prices are ridiculous so eat just before and right after leaving to save a few bucks.

During this covid-19 pandemic, Cedar Point has made a lot of changes to secure everybody's wellness. This is the best time to go because there is small crowds and rarely long wait times for the rides.

Cedar Point is the world's best amusement park! Every ride is exciting and seems to have broken a world/national record in its day. And they keep building new ones! The whole theme and feel of this park is thrilling and excitable. Here are the top five rides in my opinion:
1. Maverick
2. Millennium Force
3. Raptor
4. Steel Vengeance
5. Top-Thrill Dragster
Get your way to the park and have a blast!

I love Cedar Point! The rides are awesome! However be prepared if you have a bag you cannot bring on the ride they make you buy a locker I believe it was 2 dollars or you could rent one for 3 hrs for $10 that would transfer to other lockers. My advice bring a fanny pack!

This is our home away from home in the summer. I mean what better way to spend the day then eating some world-famous thick cut french fries and riding the rides and touching the sky. We buy season passes every year and the kids love to ride roller coasters 8 and 3. If you have any family from out of town coming I recommend spending a day here it's great for the whole family.

We always love going to the best amusement park in the world. If you have never been here what are you waiting for!!! Voted the best coasters in the world and every real thrill seekers dream park you have to get here. I am going back soon

Most stores, restaurants, rides are closed. Staff is rude. Restaurant mgr yelling at a customer for not wearing a mask while eating. Not sure how you wear a mask while eating. Staff doesn't seem to know anything. Over all not worth all the money spent. Been here since 11 am and only was able to ride 1 ride. My sons only 3 rides. It is now close to 5pm. Do not visit during this lovely covid-19 situation if you are looking for a good time.

So I would rate 5 stars but there was a rule on the cops you can only refill every 15 minutes which got in the way if you drink fast or wanted something else however the things out of Cedar Point's control like the weather it was extremely hot and the line definitely contributed to very hot and miserable day the rides themselves were very fun very creative and I would say it's worth the money to get the Fastpass so you can just ride rides all day instead of spending majority waiting in line.

Great park with tons of rides for all ages. Super clean. Only down side not many shade areas and it gets hot here like REAL HOT !! Park is a bit of a mess as far as rides go...there is no rhyme or reason as to why they are laid out how they are...if you come to the park you will see what I mean. But great park overall.

Horrible customer service. I purchased tickets in January with a FunPix pass. We will not be attending due to the pandemic. I have emailed three times - NO reply. I have called three times and was told by "Virginia" that she had no idea how to help and then transferred me to the Cedar Point "Police" department. This is COMPLETELY unacceptable. I have gone to the park annually for at least 45 years and am done. I'll settle for Kings Island next year.

Always a good time CP 2019 in the books!!! Perkins atmosphere was a little disappointing they had not yet decorated for hallowfest, under new management and you could tell the vibe wasnt the same, our service was good. Fridays stopped carry out at 5 pm on fri and Domino's pizza's computers were down so couldn't get a delivery, other than a few hiccups things were great!!! Year # 7 and 2020 visit in the making!!!

While I am not a big fan of the larger roller coasters, my family has a blast here. I love taking photos while my daughter and friends ride everything this amusement park has to offer. You can stay right on site as well. It'f fun having the location be right on the beach.
Lots of fun shows and parades as well as amusement park food, snacks and souvenir shops.

My girlfriend and I finally made the trip to Cedar Point by way of a road trip that started in NYC. Hands down the best amusement park I've been to!
The park is clean, the coasters are exhilarating and all the rides were operational.
We had a great time and wished we lived closer so we could go several times a year.

We had a complete fun. If you love the thrill rides and if you live in Michigan or Ohio or any other nearby states, or even if you're visiting someone, the cedar point is worth a stop for a full day trip.

TOTAL DISASTER! First they took the live cam away to help indicate how full the park is. Next they are just going through the motions of trying to keep people safe . Allowing a ride to be half full prevent the spread of Covid???? Come on!! Combine this with reduced park ours (forces everyone to go at once) and closing all waterparks on the hottest summer in years and only have less than 1/2 the rides even open makes their 150 year anniversary a low point for Cedar Point

I have been coming here for years and this year has been by far the worst. No fast lane even though kings island does fast lane and it's the same company. Also lines are crazy and they are running trains at half capacity cause of social distancing which is making the wait times longer and you have to sit and bake in the sun. If you are going to and paying for admission they should be running the rides as full capacity once the ride starts moving it doesn't really matter anyway. Some rides are also ran empty every so long

The all day dinning is good, but shouldn't be limited to certain entrees. For instance what cedar point considers snacks should be included, pretzels, fried pickles and cheese sticks ect. We bought tickets online, got charged for the souvenir bottle they said they didn't have them when we arrived. The waits are a killer. So, I'm suppose to pay extra for the fast pass and there's only 15 to 20 minute difference in wait time.

Went with my family the second day of opening. I had never been to Cedar Point, but it was an overall letdown. Lines were ridiculously long with no fast passes. About half of the rides were closed due to being understaffed. The Access Pass system was executed poorly. We managed to get out hands on passes for both Maverick and Steel Vengeance, but coming back to them at the assigned time still presented us with 2 hour wait times. I dont doubt Cedar Point's ability to run a park, but I would NOT recommend visiting during COVID. We're going to try and go again next year, when all of this is (hopefully) over.

We always have a good time at cedar point. I think the key is to get there early or show up late. The crowds are unbearable during the peak times and completely ruin the experience.

All that being said, when the crowds are not out of control this place is very enjoyable!

The only reason why I'm not giving it a 1 star is because I loved most of the rides and the beautiful view. Other than that, the staff were... slow idiots! I have never seen a more stupid staff!! Horrible attitudes and completely unprofessional and again just freaking stupid! The food was another big NoNo! Way way way, over priced and horribly cheap tasting. Leave the park and go grab lunch or pack a lunch, don't waste your money. I'm still in complete shock over the idiocy of the staff. Also dare you go on a Sat. Lines over 2-3 hours long for a 1min ride. That's insane!!

Love the park...but you guys need to get these toll booths together on Friday evenings. I have a kid I pick up from work and every Friday it crazy because you have 1 LANE OPEN. cars backed up down the causeway. Like come on, you know ppl check in on Friday?!

My wife and I went for our anniversary weekend and when we arrived at Cedar point the disaster began they were only running the rides at half capacity we spent $120 on parking and admission we got to ride two rides in six hours that we were there because as I stated they are only running the rides at half capacity it was a total waste of my money, and my time. As a veteran who defended this country I think we deserve a little more than what America s giving us right now

We take a trip yearly to the park, and this year, we were a little surprised as to how little my 6 year old could do. It almost seemed like height requirements had changed? Anyway, we did what we could, and had a nice time. We really enjoyed a BBQ restaurant, the name escapes me, but it was new in 2019 I believe and was a really good experience. The kids also enjoyed the new climbing structure.

If you do not have anything to do on the 4th of July, i really do recommend Cedar Point, no matter how tired you get of walking so much, its worth it and its not so packed. Also the Fire Works are one of the best i have seen so far. BEAUTIFUL.
