Love Cedar Point. We live close by so we go frequently. Everything is over priced, as it would expected to be. Be diligent on ways to save if you're looking for a budget friendly trip. Find coupons at local grocery stores, pack food in coolers and eat outside the park, etc.

I try to go during the week due to it have less people. Still hard to visit all rides in a single day and do everything you want to if you have kids. If traveling in from out of state, try make it a 2 day trip.

The park is very large so be careful if you have little ones, they can get lost quickly. Usually when I plan on getting souvenirs, I splurge a little financially. And that is to be expected. The best deal is to get the platinum pass if you go multiple times. Access to both parks, free parking ($20 to $30 to park, rip off), discounts on food, and merchandise. Again, there are ways to save, you just have to look.

I would suggest bringing a wagon or something of that sort. Will help with carrying clothing and other essentials.

5 star rating for sure. Hope this review helps anyone looking to take the trip.

Teenagers here can't do basic math. When the ride goes down they just leave you hanging in line without telling you that it's down, the older roller coasters need to be updated because these new ones make the rest of the park boring.today was the first day I've been here in over a decade and from this trip it'll probably be another decade before I come back

This is by far the greatest place in Ohio! The weather sucks here, the roads suck here, the State Government sucks, the sports teams suck, but this place right in our backyard makes all that tolerable!

They've changed a lot over the years. Some for the good, others for the worst. The newest ride wasn't even open the day we went. Also, the prices keep rising on everything. I suggest bringing food/drinks to enjoy midway through your visit if it's a day trip.We got there when the park opened with hopes to ride more than two rides. They still only had a handful of rides running. It was almost 1 o'clock when they finally opened most of the rides and at that point the park was packed. Because it was cold we got to ride like 5 rides in a day *which was good considering in the summer you are in a line for more than an hour easily. The haunted houses were really fun. We got to experience almost all of them. They don't scare u on the grounds at night any more for Halloweekend. It's quite disappointing, even though I understand why they may have stopped. Overall it was an ok day.

We bought the gold card last October. Finally got to go today. Most of the rides were not running and most restaurants were closed to. There was 4 rides we had to get passes for. Only managed to get 3 and didn't get to use one for the dragster due to maintenance. They sell cups with free refills but won't let u take them through the lines. At 100 degrees u need a drink. Especially with a mask on.

Great rides, but the lines are gigantic! If you stay at the Resorts like I did, you can enter an hour early, but hardly any of the rides are up and running! My visit may have been an anomaly, but most rides were not open until 10 o'clock.

Love going to the roller coaster capital of the world, and it definitely is. There is a 6 flags out by me and think of cedar point and it's bigger badder amazing older brother. It's got everything from thrills or longer, faster, more amazing rides. From millennium force, best steel coaster in the world to the new coaster steel vengeance to top thrill dragster. Cedar point aims to break records with their new coasters which is great for a park like this. Can't wait to get back ASAP. Also if you go, stay on the peninsula that is located on, preferably at Hotel Breakers. You're isolated and just steps from the park! Have fun!

Cedar Point is one of the best theme parks anywhere, the best thing is the countless number of roller coasters and a variety of high speed and extreme g forces. Modern and old style. There are plenty of food outlets and souvenirs. Also there s a lot of rides and attractions for the kids and faint hearted people who don t want to have a heart attack on some of the extreme rides. You can easily spend all day and night and then want to go back for more.

Today, July 10, 2020 is the second day that Cedar Point is open! The 9th and the 10th was for season pass holders so I thought it would be a good day to check out how things will be this year and how it was going to work.

I think it is important to remember that Covid-19 has brought havoc to many businesses, however Cedar Point has met the challenge and are doing an exceptional job at keeping people safe while still allowing them to have fun!

I first want to say all the gold stars are given go to the Cedar Point Staff, I commend you all for keeping a great attitude!

I was told in a very kind way, before going into the Health Screening Tent, that my mask needed to be over my nose not just my mouth. After making that adjustment I went through the Health Screening Tent which is a large tent structure to provide shade to the guest and has fans to circulate the air and try to keep the guest cool.

After passing my health screening which was me getting my temperature taken on my forehead. I was then off to the Main Gate where I was met by Raymond, a gentleman that has such a kind spirit, welcomed me, checked my pass, and answered all my questions. Raymond did a wonderful job at making me feel welcomed, I greatly appreciate his service and sincerity. Thank you Raymond.

I then went to Starbucks and I want to thank Ricky and Anthony from Michigan who besides making some amazing Guava and Ginger drinks, both had such joyful spirits, you could feel their smiles from behind their masks, which of course made me smile behind my mask too! Thank you both! :)

The park was clean and staff was walking around all over the park wiping things off with disinfectant. There is staff members available to ask questions throughout the park. There are many break stations around the park where you can rest, breathe and find hand sanitizer. Not all rides are open, and the ones that are open are running at half the capacity, but remember that the park is not at full capacity either, so there are not as many people in the park.

Many of the food establishments are open, however Friday's was not open today, I am not sure if they will be or not. Most of the restrooms are open, some are not, but they are clean.

And lastly I want to thank Kylie at Guest Services for being very helpful and trying her best to provide everyone with a great guest experience. Thank you Kylie!

Cedar Point was a great place to be around people and to get some exercise walking. Even though the park was not crowded the lines were long with much waiting for sanitization purposes. The bathrooms were clean as well as the park and there seemed to be a general fun time being had by all!

It was amazing! Haven't been there in 13 yrs, just as fun and exciting. The haunted houses we're fun to. The $99 gold season pass was so affordable so glad they had the deal for the 150th anniversary! Keep it going cedar point!

Pricey but fun. Fast pass was 170 extra and most rides were only 15 to 30 minutes with the pass which is 2 hrs less than no pass for major rides . 4 rides broke down which had to be sad for someone waiting 2 hrs for "maintenance to fix" with no ETA . We left after 15 minutes oc broken rides and .Over on but ,if you would wait after 2 hrs of waiting ?.The fast pass plus added 170 to initial ticket price and they did sell out! If you don't have fast pass you'll never finish the major rides. Last month fast pass was 75 so it does go up and down. We had a great time and the rides were incredible . It was incredible.

I've been to Six Flags and amusement parks all over the country and Universal Orlando but this place by far is the best one to go to especially if you stay at the resort the beach is right there everything is clean the people are nice the drinks are worth the price and they always have bands going way cheaper stay then going to Universal Orlando and the rides were actually better than Orlando they didn't have any of those weird 3D rides they were just straight awesome roller coasters as well as a pretty good setup kids part went there with my family for the first time last year and I already can't wait to go next year

I went there yesterday, when I arrived It wasnt raining and I bought two tickets for USD 100,00. So me and my friend entered the park and when we were in the line of the First RollerCoaster, the park announced that they were closing the RollerCoaster because the wheater condition. So ok me and my friend went where we buy the tickets and asked them a ticket to return another day or a refund, we were with our tickets and we showed for the clerk that we were there for Just 10 minutes. She told us that the weather would be good in one hour that we could wait and enjoy the park. So we waited for like more one hour and that time was like 7 PM and I didnt enjoyed any RollerCoaster of the park because they were closed. So I returned there and ask they again for a ticket for another day. The manager told me that he couldnt give me ticket for another day because I was in the park for more than 1 hour. But It was they that told us to wait. In the end of the history I bought 2 tickets, didnt enjoy any RollerCoaster and their customer service are terrible, is a disrespect with the customer. I didnt want my money back I Just asked they tickets for another day... And they simply denied, ashemed of the Cedar point

Awesome vacation for the family! Rides are great. Do away with the whole "fast pass" fiasco and you'd have the perfect amusement park. Storage bins on all possible rides would be great. Get ready to break your self on food and refreshments! Still a fun place to visit.

If you love roller coasters, this is the place to be! With the addition of Steel Vengeance, a hybrid coaster, Cedar Point remains a first-class amusement park. Many unique dining experiences and access to the beach on Lake Erie, makes for a fun vacation or a weekend getaway.

An amazing adventure park. Would definitely recommend visiting it.
Top Thrill Dragster is a ride you don't want to miss, and Gatekeeper is another awesome ride.
One suggestion is to get a fast lane pass as the waiting times are very long otherwise.

When I went there the lines were pretty long. 1/10 of the time spent there will actually be on rollercoasters. There are a lot of other fun things to do there if you are too lazy to wait on rollercoasters. There were a lot of bugs when I went there, but with further research. They are only there for the first 2 weeks of June, so the rest of the year it is gonna be fine

This park could easily get a 5 star. This park has so many good things about it. The rides are amazing and the selection of food in the park is perfect. Prices are way out of control, but if that's what you like to do to your patrons that's your business. Big deal to me is keep someone full time at each bathroom, keeping then clean. Makes you wanna get sick. Other than that place is great, had a real fun time!!

The one coaster we made it on was incredibly fun but waited TWO hours for it (the pyramid scheme that is Fast Pass allows sanctioned line cutting and doubles the average person's wait time), the bathrooms aren't all that clean, and the odor of rancid fry oil permeates the park. And what kind of special hell is the place that blares "celebration" music in an empty plaza? But, yes, that one roller coaster was great.

This is the best roller coaster park in the world....

This is the best roller coaster park in the world. And I'm not exagerating. Almost all coasters are at the top of their class. And also more than enough non-coaster rides to fill the day for those not into coasters.

Best roller coaster park in the US that I have been to and I have been to quite a few. The rides are great. Fast pass is worth the extra money if you want to get to ride more than once in a day.

Extreme lack of customer service. The customer experience in the park is horrendous. Half the park is closed all day. Many rides are undergoing maintenance delays and never open at all. Employees have zero training in handling crowds. Getting passes to the big rides is complete anarchy. Employees can t answer any questions about rides, park procedures, bus pickups, etc. Most of the employees seem to hate their job. Signage is incredibly lacking. Rules regarding small bags, hats, and sunglasses are different for every ride. One time we even waited in line (passing multiple employees) all the way to the front to be told to leave the line to go put our small draw string bag in a locker. Another problem is that the park only has 2 shuttles running that service the park, breakers resort, the RV resort, and some miscellaneous areas. Due to covid each bus only carries one party at a time. It s a complete joke. No pets allowed on the beach. This park is only famous because it has some of the firsts in multiple roller coaster categories over the decades. Some of these rides such as the Steel Vengeance are quite fun, however the ineptitude of the general park staff and experience makes for a rough visit. The RV resort is pretty. The sites are nice. Great views of the lake. It s expensive though. The internet blows and only comes in at 2-4 Mbps. No bicycles allowed either...

My favorite amusement park. This is how a park is supposed to be run. Beautiful and clean. Acceptable wait times. Some of the best roller coasters in the world. 17 in total. Recommend staying at the in park, Hotel Breakers. Just too convenient which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

Fun place to go in the summer, but they need to crack down on all the smoking. There are designated smoking places, but people ignore them to smoke wherever they feel like. It'd be better to ban it altogether.

Good fun! There are so many rides that you need 2 days to ride them all. We went for the coasters and went on 9 of them. Spent some time in the waterpark and that was refreshing on a hot day. Inside the park we ate at Chicky's & Pete's, that was good. We also ate at Hugo's, that was not good.

Cedar Point's collection of coasters is second to none. The variety of different coaster experiences is phenomenal! We went on a Sunday in June and only had two wait times over an hour, Steel Vengeance and Valravn. We were able to ride everything we wanted to and a few more than once. The views from the top of some the rides are spectacular! There is no other amusement park that offers the vistas available at Cedar Point.
Food is decently priced and a wide variety is available. Rides and activities for all ages including a little petting zoo!
Obviously the main attraction is the unparalleled roller coasters and it would absolutely be worth the trip just for that.

Overall great family fun place! If you want or need to rent a wheelchair or a stroller, however you need to do it at least 24 hours in advance to ensure that you have one upon arrival.

This park continues to improve, year after year! Great family vacation. The staff is VERY accommodating! (The Perkins manager even delivered my girls pancakes so we could all eat together in the Japanese restaurant... that's service!...and the Japanese restaurant hostess allowed it ).

This park was fantastic! The rides were better than expected. My husband and I bought 2 day tickets because there is just so much to do and see! We went during the week, and the lines weren't long. The longest we had to wait was about 30 minutes. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only complaints we had were the prices of food and the rude guests that walk right into you.

This place rakes in so much money, but yet everything is at a premium price. And about 80% foreign people working for them. Ride after ride breaking down.
Advise; look for deals, get to the park an hour early (takes forever bumper traffic to the island). Get a map. And take the trolley, you will see the layout of the whole island. If you go on a weekend the fast track add on is worth the money.

Every visit is exciting. Even with seemingly long wait times on some rides, it's always worth it. The food, provided you're willing to pay for it, is super tasty. There's something here for everyone.

Also, I highly recommend the Platinum Pass if you plan on coming more than 3 times; the drink pass and the meal plan are both definitely worth it.

You will spend the vast majority of your day hurrying up and waiting if you don't hand up the extra $100 each person for a fast pass. However, the coasters are amazing and like no other and I would recommend the experience at least once in your life.

Nevertheless. On a less busy day (than most summers) in October we still waited 3 hours for Gate Keeper and are probably still waiting in line for Millennium Force.

Cedar point is absolutely, by far, unequivocally, positively, the best park in the world. I have been to many and I can say that I am extremely lucky to have been to this one. The staff are great and cut down on line jumpers, the park is clean, food is excellent (for a midwestern amusement park), and the coaster lineup is absolutely incredible. There is something for everyone. From the 'just-starting-my-coaster-career' to the 'OH-MY-GOD-RIDE-ALL-THE-COASTERS' people, cedar point has something for everyone. If you are looking for coasters to ride there and stay away from, everything is great and I can pretty much guarantee you will love it.

Roller coasters are fantastic!! If you are going to be waiting in line for a long time it'd be nice if the waiting areas were shaded with a mesh awning or something. Was there on a hot day, but wish some of the bathrooms were better ventilated or air conditioned. Overall would return just for the rides though.

Great rides. Well trained staff. You may have to pay a season pass, but it feels like a pay-as-you-go amusement park with the rules of needing a locker ($$$) before you board some rides. The lines are long so ($$$) to speed up (will not get you to the front of the line). Four stars.

I am blown away at how seriously they took this pandemic and the precautions they took. Anyone who is complaining at this time isn't taking the pandemic as seriously as they should. A majority of the one star reviews I'd read are complaints about still having to wait in line with limited capacity. SO THEY CAN SANITIZE!

THANK YOU, CEDAR POINT for giving us an absolutely beautiful day as a family and letting us do something fun and feel safe.

They're not giving warning around extremely limited access to the premiere coasters or the fact that they're running rides at roughly 1/3 - 1/2 capacity. We were there for a full day and only got to ride 5 rides, and none of them the top-tier. Total BS.

Its a great place to ride the rides down side is its right on the water so weather is unpredictable i missed out on several coasters today because of high wind risk it put a slight damper on the day but all in all i have come back to cedar point 5 times in the last 7 years and its a 5 hr trip for me so if that tells you anything. Also i must highly recommend the all day dining pass there are a lot of restaurants that participate in the program you get to eat every 90 minutes if you so choose to so it pays for itself pretty quickly

I have a special place in my heart for this place. I have many fond childhood memories here and years later, had my first date with my now fiance here. That aside, this is still one of my favorite places to be in the summer. The rides are fantastic (Maverick, Raptor, Steel Vengeance, Millennium Force and many others) and the park keeps adding more food options. Additionally, Cedar Shores, the water park adjacent (still owned by Cedar Point's parent company), is a great time as well. We have had season passes for three years in a row and make good use of them.
