Only 4 stars due to COVID 19. If youbare a parent go with your extra patient pants on. I am thankful for the extra cleaning precautions but they do extend the already long wait times. Though seeing employees clean made me more comfortable in a crowded park.
I also tried parasailing! An amazing experience. My temp was checked beforehand. Warning there is a long walk to the restroom!
Best Amusement park in the world period!!!! I love going on all of the rides and it is such a blast!!!! The lines are super long but it is worth it. The service is outstanding, the food is really good, and they also have a lot of fun games as well. I haven't been on every ride here yet but by the end of my life I will have gone on every ride in the park. Get their early in the day and spend multiple days here because one day is not enough. I would recommend come here for two or three days.
Don't buy a bathing suit for this, the only places where you get wet is the beach and the pod drinks, places to eat, ride are available hope you have a safe ride and fun day or more! My feet was hurting so better have some good shoes or flops! You also get refills witch are free
Leaving a review for the roller coaster capital of the world feels silly. It's amazing, it's coaster heaven. With the addition of Steel Vengeance, it's a perfect park. Staying at Breakers is a game changer.

Of course it's great. Dragster is hands-down the best ride I've ever ridden. Cedar-point is a must for amusement park fanatics.
Great coasters, lines weren't too long when we went. Longest was 1h30 for valraven. Great staff! Didn't get to ride the steel vengeance. Beautiful location close to the lake!
Lots sanitizer. Small crowds, everyone wire masks, good outside shows. Felt safe.
I really liked this place. Tons of cool rides like, Mavrick, Power Tower, Snake River falls and etc there really fast and scary! And the lines are usually long for the big ones like Millineuim Force and Dragster and etc And has tons of history to it too!
So much fun...rides for kids and adults along with games with awesome prizes...
It was clean people were friendly not a bad place to go if you want to go on roller coasters.
I experienced profiling and just overall terrible mentorship from HR. I don t recommend anyone coming here for a job or any sort of work there HR Team specifically the blond lady and and the guy with black hair in the second office are just disgusting people. If you are someone coming from another part of the world or even out of state don t THIS is not the place to be I would recommend sixflags or a Disney at this point I m someone who has gone to the park almost every year since I was a kid and to be treated the way I was treated by a place I use to dream about working for/with is completely wrong. I hope to be able to write a better review maybe next season or something but as of now I will no longer ever comeback to this park
It has some of the best roller coasters ever built. Waiting in line takes a while but it's worth it.
A roller coaster for every thrill level! And a lively, lovely children's area to play and explore was an unexpected treat.

One of the best parks I have had the chance to visit and experience. I love the roller coaster selection as well as their other rides. Some good food places though you will pay the typical in-park prices. Budget in for a fast pass as it may be needed due to the popularity of some of the rides and roller coasters, though it can definitely be expensive. The park caters to the children as well, so no worries there.
Fast pass is the way to go. Daly drink package yes, daily meal package no. Put a cooler and your car with frozen Waters and make some subs at home. It will help you recover from the $$$ on the fast pass! Hot, not to busy on a Monday, family had a great time.
Steel Vengeance is easily the best coaster I've ever been on and this place is seriously the best for coasters and fun!
They definitely could use some misters for these hot days. We only saw them on one ride all day. Otherwise, the coasters were great. Fast Lane passes and food plan was definitely worth the $. Wish you could get more things on the meal plan tho. Also seemed to be quite a few rides closed or temporarily shutting down, but many were brought back up before too long. We enjoyed our day there!
Wish it wasn't so expensive to just walk in. They're already getting you with the prices on everything inside.
Why are the wait times on your app so inaccurate? Walk all the way to the back of the park to find a 1:30 wait for Steel Vengeance when the app says 30 min wait. Really? How hard is it for you to update your app? Experience like this has been consistent all weekend. You would be better to turn off the app if you re not going to maintain it..
cedar point is doing an amazing job sanitizing and making sure everyone is staying safe considering the pandemic. everyone who works there is very nice and adds to the enjoyment of the park!
I have never been a huge fan of roller coasters but a few years ago my friend invited to join him and and a few others to spend the day here. I had so much fun here and still think back on these fond memories. The food is incredibly over priced, but not unexpectedly. I caught like 7 magikarp near the entrance in about 15 minutes. -1 Star for being in Ohio.
We always have fun when we go to Cedar Point. Even if it's their busiest day ever, which happened to be the last time that we visited they had to stop letting people in. It definitely slowed down has it got later. When it was really busy they also ran out of certain food items at the restaurants. the food employees were just as overwhelmed as the park goers with all the ppl.
Incredible park for the coaster and thrill ride lover, more coasters than anywhere in the states and maybe the world. Long lines for the most popular rides, but that wasn't unexpected. To avoid the lines, you can pay an additional $108 for the Fast Pass option. That wasn't in the cards for our family of 6 over our two days($1296!) but if you only have one day at the park and want to fit in as many rides as possible, I would definitely consider it.
Food and drinks are very pricy. That's my only complaint. Staff are extremely helpful with any request or question. The roller coasters are bar-none the absolute BEST!
Only vegetarian meal option was pizza, but didn t come with a drink or any sides when using the meal plan. Extremely disappointed with the app as well.
Park was oversold. Only got to ride 4 rides out of a 10 hour day there. It feels like Cedar Amusements cares more about money than customers getting to enjoy the park and rides.
I'm sure it would've been a better experience during normal circumstances. However, the park in my opinion was not worth the price of admission. With the social distancing on the rides and the access passes for the main four rides. It made it impossible to ride even half of the rides in one day. I would recommend that anyone coming from out of town wait for a weekday, or after the coronavirus passes.
Soak City was a lot of fun and lots of things to do and experience with the kids. Saturday's are a very day for Soak City but nonetheless we had a great time. I recommend the wave pool, it was intense and reminded us of being on the beach and enjoying the waves crashing in. But the best part was theres no sand to get everywhere, no seaweed and also no saltwater to have to contend with. Also the slides are very fun if you don't mind waiting a little bit of time to get on the slide rides. We'll come back soon definitively.
They really dropped the ball this year!! Wondering why they even opened. You have to double wait in line, first time to get a pass for the ride, then when you get the pass you have to wait in line again just to ride the ride. Most of the rides were closed also.
Only went on two rides because it was late tonight exhausted my sense of adventure but you know this is a good place when I come during the day
Definitely enjoyed my time at Cedar Point today. We were lucky enough to be able to go on the rides we really wanted to but would definitely need to come back to hit up all the other rides we couldn't do today. Definitely recommend Valravn, Millennium Force and Skyhawk if you're into thrill rides as those were my absolute favorites from today. Also the food at BackBeatQue was really good and while it doesn't seem like a large portion it was surprisingly filling.

Wow!! I've been all over the country riding roller coasters. This is the best park with the smoothest most electrifying rides. The view on the water is amazing. When you are riding coasters it's just the cherry on top. I wish more places had there standards set as high as this place does on rides and food!!!
Had a great time here, went with a group of about 20 people and it was definitely well managed by the staff there in terms of social distancing and ensuring the quality of the experience. Bathrooms weren't the cleanest which was my only concern, but other than that everything else seemed well managed and taken care of. Staff is friendly and helpful and overall wait times weren't bad at all!
Park rides operators are less than motivated to move people through the lines. Kong s Island is a much better ran park. I know they are owed by the same company however the mentally or lack there of is extremely noticeable.
Cedar Point would get five stars if it were just the coasters. It's absolutely the best selection of coasters in the country, and steel vengeance is the best of the bunch. The good is pretty standard, but fine, it's cleaner than your average park, and the frontier area is nicely designed. The rest of the park is essentially a concrete jungle, and a lot of the rides are brutally exposed to the sun. Again, though, you just argue with the coasters.
Did the two day pass Michigan special, they somehow only had us as regular two day passes, took an hour at the help desk to get it figured out, and they had the water park closed both days with no notice. Otherwise it was a nice park with normal wait times in line.

I was here by myself (good story) and I have to admit it might be the best way to visit if you are serious about trying out all the roller coasters. In fact, because I didn't have to wait for anybody and I could go at my own pace in whatever order I wanted, I even waited extra to ride on the front of every coaster. It was well worth it. I probably shouldn't share this, for obvious reasons, but it is an objectively better experience at the front. How you may say? Ah! I'll let you figure out that one...

My first time to the park. Waited an hour to get in the park. Then only got to go on 3 rides because it was so busy. Even the fast pass was long. Maybe 30 mins shorter then regular ticket holders.
Driving all that way and paying all that money to just stand in line for 7 hour and maybe 6 mins of fun..probably will never go back unless things change
I been waiting to go to this park so bad.When I was 11 years old for about 4 long dry years. I finally went in the summertime 2018 because I was tall enough to ride all the rides. That was the year that Steel Vengeance was opened. We got to go in a hour before the public because we stayed at the CedarFair Hotel which I suggest anyone who is traveling up to stay there. We ran to Steel Vengeance thinking no one was gonna be there. But a huge line of people stopped us. I waited 3 hours for a front row seat and that was the best Rollercoaster I have ever ridden to this day and I had been to many parks in the Eastern coast . Thanks Cedar Point for the excellent experience at the time I was there.
Great fun just wish lines was better. But it appears they are doing all they can with the new rules and regulations. Worth the trip
$60 and 6 hours for a ride? Trash. No fast passes sold today.
We came during covid thinking that things would be planned out and lines would be efficient. Boy were we wrong. You stand in line to get a ticket. You stand in line for your ticket time. And then you stand in line to ride your ride. There is no flexibility in exchanging ride times. We got to the park before noon and immediately ran around to get tickets for rides. Of the 4 rides that require tickets, 1 was broken down, 1 had already distributed all the tickets by 30 min after opening and the last 2 were both distributing for 4-5pm.
Normally that would be fine. But both rides also had a 90min wait from the time you got in line so we could only ride one of the 2. Everywhere you went all the employee were moving at a glacial place. We got the trick or treats pass and to get premade mac and cheese tool 30 min.
This is a wonderful park you can make some of the best memories here.
It is an amazing place for thrill seekers and families. The line are long but when I went I got Fast Pass Plus so I did not have to wait at all to get on a ride. The rides are really fun but some are rough like Raptor. When I went Valravn was closed which was disappointing but it did not effect me. The Johnny Rockets there was amazing, it was really good! The lake view is amazing and the fast winds felt really nice near the lake. When you get in the back of the park near Steel Vengeance though it gets really hot, because you cant feel the lake winds. I think on their website they should put what rides are closed for that day, I think it would be nice to know!
That is my review, I think it is amazing place and I can see myself going back again... but not for a while because ticket prices and fast pass plus is expensive!
Awesome rides. Most worth the wait times, which can be a bit much. Prices can be steep but the meal plans and drink plans can be useful. Plenty of decent food. Be prepared for lots of walking and standing.
Always love cp as a kid...now enjoy more with my kid.
I stinking love this place! It is seriously never a disappointment! If you're a newbie I recommend the best rides: Top Thrill, Millennial Force, Maverick, Rougarou, and Valraven. This is one of my most favorite places to go-- highly recommend

We have been here since opening at 11 and they are still not not opening rides at 330. They say it's due to high winds, but the wind is minor at this time and around 15 mph. The website says they start closing rides around 25 mph and that is usually only a few. They literally only have half the kiddie rides open. This was a waste of money and time. I'll never return here again.

Great park. Suffers from the 'fast pass' syndrome, so be ready for some long waits on certain rider. Other than that, it is a wonderful park with awesome roller coasters for thrill-seakers.

I love Cedar Point so much! I am a roller coaster and thrill enthusiast, so for me this is the place to come to! They have shops, rides, attractions if you re not into coasters. I have amazing memories of traveling here after my school ended for the summer and I still feel like a child and thrill enthusiast coming here! I m excited about returning soon!!!!
Before becoming a ride host, I absolutely loved this park growing up! Now that I m old enough to realize; the safety procedures in this park is phenomenal. I feel a lot safe riding rides and working here than any other park.
Good as ever. Never could do everything in one day. 10-15 minute waits bonus must be people thought it was going to rain. Only complaint was Top thrill dragster breaks down a lot. Last time I was here had same problem.
It's the best place to visit they got all the crazy rides u gonna love especially drug race one which goes up to 120 miles per hour.
Irritated with the fact that ticket prices are pretty hefty for a half-done day. First time for Halloweekends and was looking forward to haunted houses and more Halloween displays but it really felt underwhelming. There were no haunted houses (COVID related I'm assuming but at least put that out there) and we only were able to ride 2 coasters in the span of waiting 4 hours. Social distancing during line waiting was non existent and poorly planned. Disinfecting of seats was sporadic between the 2 rides we got to see. Genuinely disappointed as I've been going here my entire life. Just wait for all this to blow over and save your money.

Cedar Point is alot of fun. I'd recommend planning your attack as it's nearly impossible to ride everything in the park In one visit. If you can, purchase the Fast Pass. It well worth the cost to save so much time skipping lines. Veterans get a discount, so check Cedar Point's website for details on that.
Have been coming here since I was old enough to ride. Has been about 20 years, but no disappointment. This place hit my bucket list and then some!!!
This was my first time there. The rides that worked were great. Millennium Force was down the entire day. While waiting in line for Steel Vengeance, it went down. So we decided to go balls to the wall on Dragster. While waiting in that line...it went down. So we spent quite a while walking from broken ride to broken ride. The app totally sucks. The wait times on the app are way off and the best part is when a ride is broken, the app will list a super short wait time so you go there only to find the ride is down. Gatekeeper was down and we did get to ride it later. Steel Vengeance came back up and we got to go on that, but Top Thrill Dragster and Millennium Force we re down for the day. It sucks to drive that far and spend the money we spent and not get to ride two of the best rides in the park. I spoke with a gentleman who has been going to Cedar Point annually for decades and in his opinion, they are more concerned with getting you to buy meal plans and fast passes than they are maintaining their coasters. I don t see us making the trip again.
Cedar Point is and always will be one of my favorite places. But I have to say due to the Gold Passes this fall its a little ridiculous! Over a 45min wait on the Blue Streak? An hour wait on the Iron Dragon? Come on! Its pretty unfair to those of us that bought platinum passes for over $200 each at the beginning of the season to not be able to enjoy the park. We drove around for 55mins just looking for a parking spot!
Best non-theme park in the US. So many different rides for all ages. But the coasters are what makes it. Many different kinds to try! Stay at a Cedar Point hotel and get in the park an hour early, WORTH IT! Have to spend at least 2 days here to ride everything you want. Can't wait to go again!
This past weekend we attended here. First time since I was a kid. We purchased tickets online a few days prior. The day of going it ended up pouring rain. Which was fine because that's out of anyones control and the rides were still going. We were able to ride three rides that day. Now because of this we purchased tickets for a second day along with fast passes so we could make through the rides we really wanted to go on before having to leave town. Well the winds were too bad this day and they never opened anything. So we basically bought tickets and still weren't able to ride on anything. On the way into the park the signs said SOME rides may not open. Thinking they planned on opening some. We never got our money back and wasted $650 for riding 3 rides.
Best amusement park because of the variety of rides and the lake around it.
Loved it. Really liked Millennium force. Stay off the magnum XL, it'll give you headache. It's a shame some of the best rides kept shutting down and we never got to take a ride.

I love this place. I always have a blast. Food is good, staff are nice and very helpful.
Loads of fun. Nice decorations and scary charaters. A few lines were only long because the rides only had one car going at a time. Given that it's only open from 6-midnight, standing in line for 45 minutes each ride does not give time for much else.
A great place to bring the family and have a great time. They have rides for all ages to enjoy. My little ones love when Snoopy comes out and to ride all the kiddy rides. If you don't have kids or just want to go without them you will still have a great time. With new rides and events always happening it's a great place to go.
