Parking is a little pricey, but if you get there early to beat the crown and you will have a great time! We have a 3 and 1 year old and they both enjoyed themselves. Got there at 10:30 and had no wait for any rides until about 12:00

We visited the park for a week, got the season passes best way to save you dont have to live in the area to get the discount. By doing this you get all the savings free parking, discounts on anything you buy . A great park the lines were short for the rides , lots of coasters plus a water park inside very convenient even shows all for the same price. We added the food option which let you eat at the restaurants in the park . Just tell them you have the meal plan they tell you what's available you will be surprised from ribs to salads to sandwiches there are many choices it's a great way to go and save alot .

Had a Great time. It's a wonderful place for a family Vacation. Nice area and plenty of after park places to eat and lounge. The waterpark is great for all ages as well as the amusement park. Will be returning before the season is over. 6 to 7 hour drive is worth it.

Really need to pick up the trash around park and Clean out the water areas. The trash around the park is a big turn off, hard to enjoy ducks in little pond paddling around cans and plastic trash. One of the bathrooms was really dirty. Great offer for kids under 5. Need to do some updates and paint. Need maps to park more accessible. Best thing about park was how friendly staff is, great customer service. Advertised special time for season holders to avoid long waits is confusing. Price for fast pass is way too much. Need more shaded areas for those waiting on others. Cups for discounted season drinks too small, so suggest taking cooler cup with top to pour these drinks in. Overall worth it.

Besides rides breaking down on occasion this place is amazing. Their campground is awesome as well, they even have a bus that will take you from the park to the campsite every 30 minutes. My whole family camps here and everytime we have a blast.

Best place to bring your kids... Free season pass for kids 3 to 5 years old.

Visited carolina harbour today. You could find 4 slides (body /tube) water rides. Body ride is thrill and enjoyable. And the wave pools are also quite amazing. The water is clean.

scarowinds is a disaster. sitting still in traffic not moving for 15 minutes plus in the employees parking lot because the traffic directors directed people the wrong way. they told us to park here, then told us we couldn t, then said we could, and then told us we had to leave and then told us we were going in the wrong direction. absolute disaster.

I was told on August 11 that I would be getting a refund for my 2020 goal passes. Then I was told on August 25 it was deposited and refunded to my bank account. I still have not received my money I have emailed and emailed and now your company is ignoring my emails. I need for my money to be put into my account as soon as possible. Your company didn t have to go through all of this to get the money out of my bank account and I should not have to go through this to get my money put back into my account. Please put my money back in my account like you said your company would, know I feel like I m getting the runaround about my money.

WOW! What an awesome experience we had at Carowinds! The excitement already gets to you when you can see the towering coasters from the highway. It is very organized and it was a smooth transition from city roads to the parking lot. Plenty of space to park and it helps having the parking lot numbered. When you get to the entrance, you are greeted by an amazing greenery and some excited hostes. Then, you proceed into the park and let the fun begin! FURY 325 was definitely worth the wait. The food selection was awesome too! Overall a great experience and will definitely be returning again!

Wayyyyyyy too expensive. Lockers are like 15 dollars for the smallest one. They are there to steal your money. Rides are fun but not THAT fun

We enjoyed the park and the concert after but we left after the 1st set as we were tried & the music was getting louder. Carowinds is more teenage / young adult related. A bit pricey.

First time here. We've been waiting over an hour for maintenance to bring a fire extinguisher to the Intimidator. Somehow they didn't figure out it was empty until after opening time. I love their sister park, Cedar Point, but not very impressed by Carowinds.

I love it here. Get a season pass. Sometimes it's busy, sometimes it's not. Either way you'll find something to do. They go bigger on entertainment every year. I went to Scarowinds for my birthday m. My wife wouldn't go near the Carnival.

This is my home park and it is fantastic.
However, there are some things you should know before going here.
1. If you want to ride nighthawk, be prepared to wait in a very long line. Usually about an hour.
2. If you come here often, get a season pass, it has many benefits.
3. If you come on a Saturday or Sunday, be expected to wait in long lines. I recommend coming on a Monday, Tuesday, or any weekday.
4.Prepared to be disappointed when you are told what row to sit in. Sometimes you can ask them to go to the front but they will say no usually.

Overall, this is a great park. Expensive but worth it nonetheless. Great for all ages.

Enjoyed my visit here with my daughter. Can't wait to do it again.

7 rides in the main Park and 7 attractions in the waterpark closed. Plus, most of rides didn't open until 11. We paid $70 each (including bus ride) to bring a large group of middle schoolers from our school. Also, 2 other middle schools from our area came today as well as numerous other school groups. Many rides other than the 0nes listed were closed when we tried to ride them. Worst experience ever at an amusement park. A lot of disappointed kids!

Its aight. I like that the roller coasters were free once you paid for the entrance ticket.

The park has a few unique rides but they have so many technical issues and rides down it s just not worth it. Park was dead but numerous rides we waited for just had technical issues not to mention several rides were just broke down. Tons of the concession stands were closed. I know this was a slow day and they have to cut back but I won t return. Too frustrating.

I had an awesome time. Did you know that Carol winds splits between, North Carolina and South Carolina?

Beautiful theme park. Very safe place to take the family for vacation. The water park is beautiful as well. Short lines overall. Very good food and shops for candy & souvenirs. All the employee's at Carowinds make it a great experience. I love going here and i definitely recommend this amusement park to anybody.

Small park compared to other parks in the Cedar Fair park family; however, they have awesome and unique rollercoasters! Definitely worth the trip!

My kids loved it. The adults loved it. The cabanna and free water made it even better

Awesome roller coasters. Great waterpark. Fun for the entire family.

Copperhead strike is great. The ride doesn't abuse you like other coasters. Kids area is great for young ones. Boo blaster is in serious need of a rebuild.

You have outdone yourself for Christmas, please show the same effort over the miserably hot summer. <need water sprinklers throughout park>

Love this place. Shows with live music are so nice. There is something for every member of the family to enjoy. The reason why I do not givev5 starts is because they really need to work on the food quality, it is very expensive and no so good.

AMAZING! OMG, no other place compares! I've told people at work, and they wanna go now, too! We're all well over 30....so this is great for all ages! I want to go back so bad!

Went for Scarrowinds on a Friday night. Not too busy, didn t wait long for any roller coaster. It was fun!

Price gouging is insane here for food and drinks. Line times are ridiculously bad, their app is terrible, and the boarding for most coasters is very inefficient

It can get pricey. However, a season pass for me and a 3 year old granddaughter was well worth it

Carowinds has something for every age group, Every thrill seeker, and non thrill seeker. The new show is harmony hall is great!! The staff is friendly and helpful. A great amusement park a wonderful family vacation day trip!!

It was great. Definitely smart to go in the off season. My head hurts so bad though, being shaken up so much. Worth it. It was super cheap because it was a sunday and in the off season and the lines were virtually nonexistent. Win :)

The coasters were fun, but a little rough. I think they need to get rid of Vortex and invest in a medium-scale, smooth coaster. Not all rides were open due to staffing and back to school season. Some of the coasters would intermittently open and close.

Carowinds is fun for the family year round. The latest addition of Winterfest is really awesome and the things they are adding to it keep getting better. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place, great entertainers. But do not expect to go on many rides (if any at all) because of the ridiculously long lines...

My girls loved it here, I enjoy my time and I. Choose a good day to come because it wasn't as crowded I wasn't able to ride all the rides with the few I did go on was awesome I will definitely make it my business to visit again.

Carowinds was really fun! It's just that it was so crowded and.. I was there for 9 ours and only rode 5 ride

Had loads of fun with my daughter but Iost my car keys which were turned in to lost and found.Aside from that stress filled moment it was a good day that she wants to repeat minus the missing keys.

they kill you with the food/ beverage prices. other than that, always have fun

It's okay, a lot of rides were closed when we went. Drinks and food are expensive.

Great family fun with low prices if you buy the season pass lots of great benefits and deals. Family entertainment for 9 months out of the year so passes are well worth the money.

Ride the Fury325. Force yourself if you re scared. It s SO worth it and was a smooth ride compared to all other coasters, probably because it is new. We didn t wait in line at all at this ride on a busy Sunday afternoon, but many others had hour long wait times. Prepare to wait in line for anything (rides, games, food) and prepare for food and drinks to be ridiculously overpriced. $4 bottle of Dasani from a vending machine, $5 from concessions. During the summer I d recommend going after 4pm for the cheaper ticket price since they stay open late. They have a water park that I didn t use, the chlorine could be smelled from the middle of the park. Never too old to enjoy an amusement park!

I have been going to Carowinds my whole life and as long as I have been going small children have gotten in free. After going online and paying for three season passes on April 4th I was informed when we arrived on June 5th my three year old would have to purchase a pass. Apparently if I had went online before June 3rd the pass would have been free. I called to ask for a common sense exception and was informed there was nothing they could do. I have purchased a season pass at Carowinds for over twenty years and find it very sad they change a policy like this in order to charge for children to small to ride most everything. They did inform me that it was posted on the website. Not sure about anyone else but I don't often check Carowinds website to make sure im not getting hosed the following year. Bad policy.

First time going. Loved it. But being an adult it kinda loses its glits and glam after the first 3hrs. Maybe it's just me. I'd still go again and still rate it 5 stars. Oh. Also. Scarowinds(halloween event) yaassssssssss

Amazing place. Loved the whole experience!! Great place to take family and friends. Lots of rides, and things to do. Good food if not a little expensive. Over all happy with my trip :)

Worked here many years ago and keep coming back with my kids! Even their campground is top notch! If you're local get a season pass and add on a meal plan (2 meals a day when your in the park!) Sometimes we'll just go for free dinner. If you're just visiting get the meal plan for the day (every few hours you get a meal) and a refill cup. It's worth the price for both..trust me.

We love Carowinds and they really have gotten so much more stuff for kids to do! The best part is the pre-K pass. Our kids loving going to Carowinds.

No words. This is amazing place for a family fun. Lot of roller coasters and other fun. Water theme park is also worth. Please do not go for unlimited photo option, rather select the photos of you keying to buy. Because they don't have photo options for many of the rides.

It's fun. Just wish the owners would stop being stingy. You shouldn't have to pay for a locker just to ride a rollercoaster. So many other things are costly already.

Got a season pass with meal ticket. It's really the best deal if you come multiple times a season. It's a great theme park. My kids love peanuts characters. The food is good and the rides are fun.

Most of the rides are closed today and we have been on two rides where we waited an hour just to find out that it was closed. Long lines for everything and I really hope we get our money back for this mess.

Very good rides, has rides for everyone. Some rides might be a little shakey, but the new addition the fury was said to be very smooth. I loved the ride where you look over the park, it looks like one of the rides that drop you but it slowly goes up and down. I did this at sunset and it was the prettiest thing

I been going to Carowinds since I was little and I love it. I am definitely a ride warrior. If you want to go more than a couple of times I suggest getting a season pass. At least a gold pass because it includes the price of parking. And always.. ALWAYS.. remember to wear comfortable shoes.

Great experience!! However, it would be nice to be able to purchase drinks at a more affordable price!! (On behalf of single moms all over the Carolinas )

Went to water park today... Busy but still fun. Love that they have put so many shades up. The bathrooms were pretty clean for a water park.

My family comes here often! We love it! Plenty of rides, food, and an entire area for small, preschool children. It's perfect for a family outing. My only complaint is the lack of shade while waiting in line for *some* rides. However, it's not enough of a bother to subtract a star. Just be aware, if it's hot bring water, sunglasses, sunhats, et cetera for preparation

It's a blast! Especially at Halloween. Go to scarowinds.. you'll get plum scared! Bahhahhaha

Love it! We get season passes every year and within 2 visits, it pays for itself. Season passes also include admission to Scarowinds in October, and Winter Fest in December! Great place! But if you go to Scarowinds, make sure to get there extra early like around 4pm or 5pm. Bring a dinner and easy in three parking lot until Scarowinds opens later, otherwise you will be in huge lines of traffic for hours and hours trying to get in. Best to spend the day there at the park, go to the parking lot when they temporarily close, tailgate with dinner, and then go back on once they open. The true scare and nightmare of the park at Scarowinds is the traffic.

This park is my home park, and it is amazingly wonderful. While during the summer it may be hot, the park still stands as something close to home, and it is a place of thrill and wonder. Fury 325 is my #2 favorite roller coaster, and it is said to be tops at the park. Wait times are minimum, and most of the rides are very reridable. Would reccomend if you're in the area!

Went on a Saturday. Was VERY hot out and was disappointed that the water park closed up at 6pm although it was still very much daylight and still hot. Lots of the rides were closed or not working for one reason or another. Kind of sucks to still have to pay for expensive full price tickets for only a portion of the rides. Lines were long but not as bad as other times. Young person working the ice booth was rude to my mother and clearly didn't care about being there, he even sass mouth the manager who didn't do anything either. Rides and events happening still were a good time.

Copperhead Strike was the best!!!! Also, it was my younger niece's first time riding a rollercoaster!!!! Coming back in the Summer!!!!

Awesome place for ages 10 and up . Roller coasters are amazing and the price feels too good to be true. Would revisit and recommended to all my family friends and anyone I talk to.

I thought it was really Fun, Its just that some of thier rules were weird, Like if we die, its not there fault

We love that there's a children's section (snoopy land). Season pass holders get early entry (30 mins) but often there's no one operating the rides anyway. They have some great coasters. Food and drink is very overpriced, as expected.

It's beautifully decorated for Christmas right now and they have lots going on there had a great time. I'd go again

What a great park! Highly recomend this for a family vacation. Great food and amazing rides. Do yourself a favor and save up for the fast pass. Its pricey but you are guaranteed to ride everything in the park instead of waiting hours in each line.

Not trying to sound mundane, but this place has rides for everyone in your family. Cannot recommend it enough.

Fun place to bring the kids. Can be a bit pricey for food and snacks. Great selection of food and snacks. Parking is a bit far if both entrances are not open.

Would give 5 stars but having to drive out of my way to get to handicap parking at the North Gate, South Gate rarely being open, employees not recognizing the difference in a wheel chair and stroller, and handicap accessibility not being great, I have to say 4. My disabled child absolutely loves going. They could take a lesson about parking from all of the Florida parks when it comes to handicap parking.

Meh... I'll give it 2 stars because my kids enjoyed it, but when you've been to Walt Disney World, Six Flags, and Dollywood it's hard to compare. Definitely not as much fun now as it was when I came as a teen.
