I read the reviews of Carolina Coach and Robert George. I found my experience with Robert to be GREAT!! I pounded him with questions for two weeks. He was patient, very professional and appreciated the questions I ask him. He knew that I was wanting to "know" about my boat purchase. I visited him and we discussed the pontoon I was interested in and with the options. He gave me a "out the door" price. After a week of thinking about his offer, I went back and made him a counter offer. He accepted and we got things rolling. He delivered on all he promised. He even gave me a additional outlet for my upfront fish finder.
On the day of delivery, we went to a lake nearby and tested the boat motor, GPS/Fish Finder and the trolling motor. Everything worked fine. He made sure I was comfortable with the purchase and equipment installed. After cruising the lake for about 45 minutes, he showed me how to load the pontoon onto the trailer.
Robert is direct in his sales and wants to help you get the boat that fits YOUR needs. I found him to be very professional, very courteous and desiring to help you, the customer. I recommend him for "ALL" you boating needs. Ron Skipper, Gastonia, NC
Place was slack. Waited around for 20+ min and finally had to ask someone if I could get some help. Then was directed over to the boat section I assume, where there was ONE guy working, and was busy with other people. Didn't even acknowledge I was there. Was simply needing an anchor light and see about a bimini top. Guess they aren't as "customer friendly" as they advertise.
I was only in to fill out an application for a job position. But they have a lot of RVs campers and boats to choose from.
We have owned a Crest pontoon boat since 2001 and before that we owned a Harris. The Crest did not let us down. The build of the boat was fantastic. This boat was in the water from May - August every year since 2001. We pulled her during the winter months only. We could not have been more pleased with our Crest. For 2019 we decided to refresh our Crest. After searching many dealers in the area we decided to visit Carolina Coach and Marine first. We could not have been more pleased with our experience at CCM. Jimmy and Mike in the Marine department took a great deal of time to walk us through the options and differences between the Crest models. Mike was more the numbers guy and sat down with us and discussed the structure of our deal until we were good to go. We received what we felt to be a reasonable trade for our 2001 Crest and the CCM team truly understood our needs and got us mapped to the right boat. The team at CCM got it right .... product knowledge & people knowledge, a great combination for a service and sale team.
Absolutely the place to go I you are looking for an RV. The sales staff are actually kind and helpful. There was no high pressure sales pitch.
A HUGE thanks to everyone at Carolina Coach & Marine for the hospitality! We can't wait to go camping this weekend in our new motor home! YOU ARE CRAZY if you live this close and buy your new camper or boat from anywhere else.
If you're in the market, this should be your first and last stop. The only place I can truly say earns my business. Don't think, just go.
Worst experience possible. Sales staff are unprofessional. Theses crooks changed the terms of our sales agreement and when we no longer wish to purchase the RV from them, they kept $1050 of our deposit. Obstenstibly, it was their "detailing costs, walk-through costs". Even at $120/hr. shop fee, how freaking long did it take them to detail an new RV. Run, don't walk away from this dealership.
Thanks to Tim and Tammy in parts for all their help; great employees. And a big shout out to Kim in service who is super duper helpful to me.
Want to add thanks to Terry and Doug in service for all their help and excellent work recently.
Still a big fan of Carolina coach! My RV is now 8 years old and I continue to receive excellent service from these fine folks. Sorry to see Kim go, but glad to welcome Roger as her replacement. He did a super job of scheduling my service appointment with my favorite technician, Doug. All work was done efficiently and well. Thanks to all. Oh, and thanks to whoever that guy was who came out in the parking lot and told me that I could do laps way down on the other end. It was beautiful down there. Almost like really hiking. Also thanks to everyone for following coronavirus safety guidelines.
Bought supplies here several times, the staff are helpful and they always have the parts I need...I'd buy here again...
I had my car inspected here. Such a nice place to visit if you are looking to purchase an RV or Boat. My wait time was short and they provide you with free snacks, coffee, water, and other refreshments.
I took my boat there to have the engine serviced. Greg and Virgil were outstanding. They were extremely knowledgeable and courteous. The service was completed timely and they answered all my questions. I would recommend for any marine service.
I always find it interesting when a company passes the buck. After repeat issues at one dealer with our, "new" when we bought it pontoon, we brought it to CC&M. We were hopeful that they would get it right since they were a big Crest dealer and all of our work initially was warranty work. While, a couple of things they did get right, the list of things they didn't is a much longer list; such as the horn not working consistently since we bought the boat and it's ben addressed under the warranty at least 6 times now. CC&M's solution is "On my boat, I keep a small whistle on the key ring just incase there is an issue and I need it as a back up". Really??? Considering they are 4 hours from where we live, it's been frustrating to say the least. Fixes that aren't really fixed - you would think after the issue being on the list repeatedly for 2+ years someone would dig into it a little more, oversights that were pointed out - but yet we were wrong only to find out we were right, new work not properly tested - again, we rely on the expert to know how to do this, decisions made without consulting the boat owner - resulting in a less than desired result, etc. We are now left with having to take the boat locally to address some of the issues, pay out of pocket for the fix/redo and THEN wait to get reimbursed by CC&M BUT only up to the amount they agree to. So once again we, the customer, are inconvenienced all the way around. As a first time boat owner of a Crest pontoon this makes me reconsider what we buy in the future or doing business with CC&M. I'm sure this doesn't really matter to either party as we are just 1 little customer, but hopefully it helps people do their homework a little more when considering Crest or CC&M. My 1 star rating is for the 1 or 2 things they did get right out of about 10+
I had read the reviews here and was hesitant about bringing my RV to Carolina Coach for service work. But after Camping World tried robbing me, I had no choice but to call Carolina Coach. They were able to take my appointment and they had my travel trailer back to me in less than a week. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. I'm not sure where these bad reviews are coming from, but as for myself, I had a great experience and I plan to be back!
We knew we were going to get an RV in 2 years, but we are here today to pick up our new RV. Our sales rep Susan was great. No pushing, very knowledgable and so helpful. The GM Bob White and sales mgr. made the process even smoother. We purchased it 3 hrs away from home but were treated like we traded here for years which I hope will be the case. I give them 5* because the overall experience is first class. Thank you for making this so easy and fun. You don't get to be one of the top 50 TV dealers 2 years in a row without backing it up. Keep up the great customer service.
We bought our camper and had a leak in the roof 6 months after we took it off the lot. Forest River would not help with the repairs and the dealer did nothing to help. They pretty much told me to deal with the manufacturer. I would have thought the local small town company would hold the them accountable. I was sadly mistaken.
Very accommodating! I stored my RV there for a while. The Service and Parts department worked well as a team to put a Reese hitch on my Fifth Wheel. All done over the phone !
Amazing team.
Jessica was our service advisor and no matter how often I bugged her, she remained positive and helpful. We were on a time crunch but Carolina Coach s service department made it happen. So between our wants and needs along with the service issue, Jessica made it happen and kept us updated. She made a stressful issue a positive experience. Thank you so much Jessica!!
I recently bought a used boat from Carolina Coach and Marine. I live in Georgia, so I drove by many boat dealers on my 4 hour trip to Claremont. I chose Carolina C&M because the salesman, Jim, was very friendly and got me a great price on the boat. When I arrived the pictures I studied online were exactly what I saw in person.
Unfortunately, on my first trip out on my boat I ran into some mechanical issues. This should be expected with used boats. You are buying it as is. But after a courtesy call from Carolina C&M to check on me, I let them know my issues and Greg the service manager helped get my issue resolved. The boat is now running great. A true business' character is measured after the sale, and they made it right.
I am pleased I bought from Carolina C&M and look forward to using my boat for many years. I would recommend Carolina Coach and Marine to anyone in the South East.
Rich S.
Unprofessional receptionist at the front door who completely ignored my husband & me for at least 5 minutes while she carried on a conversation with another employee. That would have been fine had she simply acknowledged our presence with a nod or "be right with you". We had already wandered through the showroom unable to find anyone to help us. Not one person who worked there acknowlegded us. There were other customers in the same boat as we were. We had taken the day to shop the camper dealerships in the Statesville area. Sorry we wasted our time here because we will not go back and we'll let everyone we meet in campgrounds know about their customer service.
Very relaxed comfortable experience with amazing customer service from all the staff. Bill Harris our sales guy was very interested in our needs, likes, dislikes and concerns when we were looking for our new fifth wheel. He went above and beyond our recent sales person encounters in the last 6 months. Bill was very quick to return phone calls, to answer questions and called to make sure we were satisfied with our decision. He said to us " I may work for this company, but right now my job is to go to work for you", and believe us he made us feel as if he did work for us! Also, the guy who did our walk through (sorry I can not remember his name) was very knowledgeable about our unit and answered every question we had in full detail. We have never had such an informative walk through as we received that day. We love out new unit and hope we never have to return to purchase another camper, but if we do we will be back!
We had a great experience at Carolina Coach & Marine. They have an awesome site with so very many RV's. Gary was a most helpful salesman and answered all of our questions and took the time to show us quite a few of the different RV's until we found the one we wanted. Everyone we dealt with at Carolina Coach & Marine was nice, friendly and extremely helpful. This is the place to go if you are looking for a RV.
I can honestly say meeting Billy Rickles has been a wonderful experience that my husband and I are thrilled we stopped in this dealership recently seeking our future RV. It s refreshing to have old fashion friendly people who ll go the extra mile in today s market. Thanks so very much!
Staff is rude and condescending. Don't go here expecting to browse at your leisure. You can't even look at the campers without signing in and walking around with a salesperson the whole time. Everything is behind a gate and the campers are locked. These are tactics used by companies that want to distract you with sales pitches and constant talking instead of letting you experience and examine things at your own pace. They'll give you excuses for this, as you can see in their replies to other reviews here, and while it makes sense in theory you'll need to ask yourself why you've never seen their excuses at any other dealer ever. Prepare for them to insult the other dealers as well, as if dealers with millions in inventory on their lots don't care about their inventory or customers. The real reason is they use this excuse as a crutch to institute their used car salesman type tactics of distractions.
Well, a couple of years ago when I bought my first boat from Carolina Coach and Marine I said if I was ever in the market for another I would go back to them to buy again. I just did. My salesman this time was Rick Holland and man did he deliver for me. Great guy to work with to get the deal done. When I picked my boat up this past Saturday I was in and out in less than an hour. All papers signed with the financial guy on to the walk around with the sales team and off to the lake I went. This place makes you fell at home. Love working with them. Also would like to give a shout out to the guy in the shop who helped us also (sorry didn't get his name). If I could I would give Carolina Coach and Marine more stars than just five.
Sincerely,
Mike and Mandy Hailey
They were very busy when i got there . But they did a good job i believe they needed more help.Found what i needed though i would go back .
Matt was very knowledgeable about the RVs and was very patient with us.
The sales department is very helpful and answered all of my questions. Loving my van!
My wife and I traveled approximately 2 hours to look at a fifth wheel camper. Our sales associate, was Matthew. This young man was very helpful. He listened to all of our questions and was very helpful, answering all of our questions. Matthew stayed with us from start to finish. We did buy our fifth wheel from Carolina coach and my wife and I are very pleased. Thank you very much.
Mr. Cathey,
After doing a lot of homework on the purchasing of a new fifth wheel. We were fortunate enough to hook up with Carolina Coach & Marine at the Greensboro RV show in January. My hat is off to Mr. Brenton Woodie for his professional, non pushy, very informative introduction to the Cardinal Estate coach displayed at the show. He was very knowledgeable of the entire coach and made us feel very comfortable with our search for a new RV. After making our decision very easy on our future purchase, Brenton, Michael and Brandon (parts) treated us as if we were family. Very, very respectable group of men. I have found this purchase to very "fun" and we are looking so forward to enjoying our new coach. I will definitely pass the experience on to my many firefighter/emergency services personnel. Again, thank you for providing such staff to make your customers feel very comfortable.
Kendall & Sharon McCarter
Great sales personnel they don't harass you into buying, they go over all info you need on all the items for sale. A professional operation.
When we decided to buy a used RV we also decided to purchase from a dealer so we would have someone knowledgeable check it out before we took it home. Carolina Coach let us down on that end. They said they inspected everything but when we had our first service work a month later, we found out how bad that had let us down. All four brake drums were greased and unserviceable. There was under damage to the sewer drain pipe and the first time we used it, it made a foul mess. Our bedroom slide worked 6 times and stopped. We were told that the fifth wheel had previously been dropped onto a truck rail - flexing the cap and breaking the guides on the slide out. Very expensive fix. Lastly CC said they would detail our RV before we picked up but when we got it home it was too dirty to use w/o deep cleaning. I would not trust Carolina Coach's word or recommendation in buying a used RV from their lot. They didn't do what they promised and I would never trust them with a large purchase again.
I left a review when I was a looker thanking them for being so helpful. I jumped the fence and bought a Roadtrek from them -- gently used, and at a great price. They couldn't have been more kind, caring and helpful to this new RV owner. I would tell anyone who is in the looking or buying stage to trust these fine people.
We had business in Claremont, so we decided to stop in to Carolina Coach on a Saturday. The salesman, Mike, was friendly, knowledgeable about the product and truly interested in us. Mike was NOT a pushy, braggard who was only interested in a sale, then on to the next. We tried out a Dynamax and talked about a possible trade. Carolina Coach offered a more than generous trade for our BTCruiser. The Manager (sorry, I forgot his name) was very friendly and polite, also not a pushy type of guy. We hadn't intended to purchase that day, just shopping on a whim, as we ran across their dealership. We are old enough to know that finances and bills come first, then pleasures. We decided to forego a very generous offer on the Dynamax, but Carolina Coach made a friend and a possible sale, in the future. Thank you kindly, Mike, for treating my wife and I like we were a valuable potential customer, instead of just a "sale-for-the-day". Sincerely, Mike from Murphy, NC Semper-fi & This We'll Defend
In our travels, looking for the perfect camper, we visited Carolina Coach & Marine. From the moment we were met by salesman Gary Uterhark, it turned out to be the best experience ever. Gary was were attentive to our needs in what we were looking for. He was very patient in showing us lots of campers on the lot until we found the one we 'loved'. The staff at CC&M were very friendly and helpful from our salesman, Gary, to the finance manager, Mike. We were delighted with our purchase and felt we made 'great' friends with the staff. One reason we purchased a camper is because we have pets, having our 'Mia' with us was no problem, the front receptionist, Sierra, looked after her while we shopped. Frank, was in charge of taking us on a tour to show us everything about out new Surveyor and he was awesome. The tour was an hour or so and very informative, answering any and all questions we had. We then met Brandon in the parts department that helped us with a few things we needed for setup. Campers are set up on a very nice paved area and many styles to choose from. We found CC&M to be the place to go for your 'Camper' when shopping for your very first or trading in.Thank you Gary, Frank and all the staff for the best experience ever!
So we stop by carolina coach, looked at camper, wanted to purchase told mike the credit score and what the down payment was we had, oh you are good, i said are you sure, yes, told finance person do not run this if we have no chance, oh no you are good, ok, came back, oh we cant finance you because you out of state, really? The finance person should have known this from the start, now i get alert saying score went down 7 points,,,r u serious, i wouldnt be mad but when u finance campers and someone tells u dont run that if you are not sure, then just say my company wont finance out of state customers, thanks, bad business.
Scott leblanc
The camper was to be used on permanent spot in NC for work, not buying that answer!
Boats and RVs toys for us all. Great people great place. I want both.
Everyone was very nice and helpful.I'm glad I came to carolina coach.Thank you
We purchased a motor home from Carolina Coach in March 2019 and from the sales staff to finance to service, we have had a great experience. Matt Horniman was a patient yet attentive salesman despite our lengthy visits. Greg King and his service staff did a wonderful job on warranty issues and the general maintenance of the coach. Greg was a great resource for a first time buyer. Highly recommend you visit Carolina Coach for your RV.
You can definitely find better deals if you search for 5 minutes on the internet.
The Service department is top notch. We have had bad experience with other place but Carolina Coach Service is awesome. They are friendly and helpful . Great place
Absolute best purchasing experience we have had with a recreational vehicle. From the salesman to the financial rep, parts department and owner. Highly recommend this establishment. We previously purchased from the large nationwide RV dealer and it the worst transaction ever. This experience reminded us that there are still dealerships that know what customer focus is all about. I would definitely deal here again.
Never let a sales person convince you to purchase an RV that only has one A/C unit when you live in the south. lol
Stopped in to dump my tour bus, staff was very helpful and friendly. Seemed like a great place.
set up appointment four days prior and drove 520 miles to see my first camper. Inexperienced salesman. Camper was not prepped for me to look at. Wife heard salesman tell someone on phone that he was having to 'jack around' with me over this camper. Expected me to buy it w/o throughly checking it out I guess. Did not receive everything that was on the advertisement sheet. Salesman was in such a hurry to get rid of me, he forgot to put the table back in the camper so it was left out in the rain for a couple hours. Once I realized it was missing, had to actually turn around and drive back to get it. The staff was too busy to even get a rag to dry it off with when asked for some! He also didn't secure couch tie down correctly so when arrived home ...the screws had come out of the wall & it was lying BROKEN in the floor. Have texted salesman twice and no response. People were nice just in a hurry to get me out of there. Sad that they are so understaffed. I still don't know anything about camping. Learning experience on my end. I only bought it because it was what I was looking for. Sold it to myself.
Customer service is wonderful and helpful, this is a great to go if your looking for excellent service and helpful people. I will tell everyone who are looking for a camp trailer or anything else to go. 5 Star.
Great sales AND service staff!! Very enjoyable experiences with Gary and Frank during the purchase of a new Class C. They spent a lot of time with us making sure this was the coach to fit our needs and wants, answering questions, and doing familiarization walk-throughs. They were flexible and worked out a delivery schedule that fit our personal travel schedule.
There was a problem with the fresh water system so we got to know the Service Dept as well and were very happy with the process and the outcome. Teresa, our Service Writer was the absolute best!! She was empathetic, patient, and worked the factory interface aggressively to get replacement parts quickly. She introduced us to Cameron, our technician and Chris, the Parts Manager which made the service experience more personal; they both lived up to the high service standard Teresa had set. We quickly knew they were working for customers, not just names on a work order, and the outcome was great!
Dan and Vickie Beard
Everyone that we met at Carolina Coach and Marine was sincere in wanting to help us find what we were looking for!
I highly recommend finding your boat or RV here!
The dealer made great efforts to correct the issues of the past and admitted that things did not go well. The new service management corrected the short comings of the last repair experience.
I hope they keep up the good work.
============= Original post ==========
I would not recommend this deal for sales or service. STAY AWAY!
We purchased a used coach in 2014 and the front AC unit was not working properly and we were promised it would be fix along with several other minor items. When we picked the unit up, noting had been done - in retrospect, we should have run away from the entire deal then, but we really liked this coach so we stuck it out.
It took 3 months to get the AC right... the initial unit they ordered was incorrect and they had to reorder the right one (wasted 140 mile round trip and entire Saturday). The second unit was for a Travel trailer and was not ducted (they completely by-passed the existing duct work). We had camping plans, so we took for the weekend and returned it 3 days later. Third time is a charm (I guess) and they finally got it right.
Fast forward a year and we had some new problems arise that should be covered under the extended warranty plan we purchased. They had the coach for 3 weeks before taking the first look at it. When the submitted the work to the warranty company, it came back asking for additional diagnosis on 2 items - but I was told everything else was covered. Well that service writer no longer works for the dealership and come to find out several items were not covered. The dealership did nothing on my behalf with the warranty company and I had to call to clarify the problems - though in the end, a few items were still not covered, others were once the warranty company got full understanding of the problem - things the tech there should have been clear about it.
Again - we had camping plans and had to pic the unit (partially working) for a camping trip. This was expressed when I dropped the unit off, but, due the the poor service write up, was not noticed until I called 4 days ahead to verify pick up. They scrambled until the last minute to get the unit in camping condition.
When I picked the unit up, it is dirty, there are broken parts and some kind of grease stain on the carpet... and no one cares. Worst of all, they replaced our faucet with one that does not match the decor of the unit... it sticks out like a sore thumb.
In reviewing the work order and comments on it (I think they gave me the wrong copy), I am suspicious of the integrity of this place. In an communications with the 2 of the most recent service mangers, I received comments like "Been too busy to get in shop", All I know is what the technician wrote up , I have 238 ticket and I cannot individually diagnose all of them , "we do not nor have ever offered a life time warranty on any new or used coach" (but I paid for an extended warranty) and many others that tells me this place is not about customer service... they just don't care.
This is now the 4th service manager/director I have dealt with in the short 20 months I owned the unit, and only one of them really understood what 'Customer Service/Experience' meant and he is no longer there. I stood feet from the existing service director and he said nothing - didn't even acknowledge my existence.
The place simply does not care... all they want is as much money as they can get from you.
Susan (sales) worked with me for almost three weeks and got my family set up with the perfect travel trailer for our needs. Never tried to up-sale and no pressure. Service Department is excellent. Had an issue on day one of recent camping trip. Pulled in at 8am (no appointment or prior phone call) and they immediately got on in. Turned out to be a much bigger issue than expected. Dude worked thru lunch and had us back on the road by 2pm and saved spring break! Techs are awesome. Thanks guys. No doubt will continue to do business in the future.
We own a Country Coach motorhome, and recently had some repair work completed on the coach. They provided top notch service and repairs. It was wonderful dealing with Kim, the service writer, Doug, top notch service tech, and Greg, Service Manager. They kept us totally informed as they ordered parts and made repairs. We will definitely use them again. I would highly recommend anyone with a Country Coach motorhome to use their service.
Spoke with Kenny Miller 1 month ago and gave him my request and price for what I was looking for. That was our first meeting. He came thru for us 110% . All the staff we dealt with were very nice and accommodating . If you are in search of something in the line of outdoor recreation ,see Kenny and the staff at Carolina Coach and Marine.
When I called Sierra answered the phone was very kind and knew right where to send my call..kim potter was able to answer every question and now I want to buy a new camper
Just a note of appreciation for the outstanding service that Jeremy Farris gave to us when we purchased our new RV. He was attentive, helpful and knowledgeable about the different RV's that are in your inventory. He was genuinely interested in helping us make the right decision. Because of his efforts we were able to find exactly what we wanted.
We would also like to thank the inside store. The customer service they offered was amazing. There is also a great selection of all the items that you will need or want for your camper or RV.
If you are looking for a new/used camper or RV you need to go to Carolina Coach & Camper, and ask for Jeremy Farris.
Thanks again

Very helpful staff, but not too pushy. We ended up deciding against an immediate purchase, but left much better educated about travel trailers and in a better position to make a future decision.
I have been waiting for 3 months for my camper to be fixed. I have had only 1 phone call that was not a return call to let me know anything and that was 3 weeks ago! The best part about this whole place was our sales guy. The lady in the service dept needs a dressing down! She told us that we should have complained before our camper left the lot. Most of the problems aren t noticed until you use it and the other wasn t noticeable with the slide out extended. She really had an attitude. This is by far horrible customer service. I will not buy from here again!
Can never get a hold of a person in service to ask a simple question.
Yesterday we picked up the Pleasure-Way Class B motor home from Carolina Coach and Marine that we ordered a few months ago. [Pleasure-Way makes relatively few motorhomes compared to other companies and waiting for a particular model is not uncommon.] Throughout that time, Matt Horniman, our salesperson, was pleasantly low-key [a real plus in our book], promptly responsive to our questions and communicated clearly.
We are newbies to RV's. Frank Garcia took us through a thorough orientation to the coach. [We'll have to use the manuals for care and maintenance of the Mercedes Sprinter chassis.] He was organized in his presentation and willing to stop frequency as questions arose. The orientation lasted about 2 hours; for more experienced RVer's it would be much shorter: he can adapt the level of the orientation to owners. He is pleasant, knowledgable and also a good communicator.
Before we left the dealership we stopped in at the small RV/Marine store on the premises. Mike the manager knows his stock and how to get what one might want that is not currently in stock. We found him a good source of information about which products best serve la particular purpose. He tried to find us a lower price on an expensive portable surge protector we wanted, but even so, gave us a discount when he couldn't. He also applied the 10% discount given to customers for 90 days after the purchase of their RV's from the dealership. Two items we wanted weren't in stock but we can pick them up around noon today. This works well for us because we spent our first night at a campground 20 mins from the dealership. We'll pick them up on our way back to Asheville.
Prices in the store are competitive with Walmart and Amazon for Camco items.
We will continue to use this dealership based on our very positive experience here.
I would give the place a 5 if they had a bigger selection of boats. Everyone there was helpful.
I'm so happy I found this place to purchase our first camper, they are kind, knowledgeable, professional and I never felt pressured at all, Francis Nixon was the best sales person I've had the pleasure to do business with her follow up was great and she was always there for all my silly questions, also Ray in the parts and supply store was the best I came in early one morning and needed something important he stepped out of a meeting to help me , wonderful place to do business with so don't shop around just go to Carolina Coach and Marine
Billy was nice and friendly and a great person to deal with
I would like to thank Mike and Brandon from Carolina Coach & Marine for the excellent care and service my wife and I received while trading our boat for a newer pontoon boat. They worked with me for several days to finalize the deal with my wife out of the country on emergency, with her name on the title. They were patient while I had to make an emergency repair to my boat due to axle damage. They made sure any problems I found on the pontoon were fixed in a quick manner. I would recommend Carolina Coach & Marine to anyone. Again, thanks Mike and Brandon for your service. Sorry if ya got into any trouble for this taking so long.
Excellent camper sales and salesman. I had a new salesman that just started and they honored everything he said. Right or wrong, they did it.
Great purchase experience. All expectations were exceeded.
All we got was a bunch of lies They were to fill up on both tanks they were supposed to do a test and the lines for the gas from the stove and the oven in the fridge raider and none of that was ever checked and the lines were rotten I wouldn t suggest this place to anyone ever stay away from her as far as you can your camper would probably start on fire
We were very pleased with the quick customer service. Our salesman named Tim A., was absolutely amazing! He got a feel for the camper floor plan we were looking for and he took us right to the campers that suited our needs. He was very knowledgeable and personable and he genuinely made they whole experience very easy for us. He was by far the best salesman we have come in contact with and he had the customers best interest. We didn t feel pressured to buy anything and there were no hidden fees or freight or prep charges. And thanks to Tim A. we will be able to make memories in our camper we purchased from here!
GREAT BOAT MECHANICS- I am not at all the type to write a review but I felt like I had to in this instance. Greg, with the Marine department is a top notch guy with a top notch crew of mechanics. Finding a certified Evinrude mechanic within 50 miles of my home is not an easy task.
My trim was not responding on my boat so I took it to the other well known Evinrude mechanic around Lake Norman (which by the way was far closer to my house). They told me that they would diagnose it within a couple days and call me. While they seemed plenty nice and knowledgeable, I do genuinely feel like they prioritize their regulars when deciding to service their boats. After a week and a half of them saying "a couple days" I decided to grab my boat and start the process all over with Carolina Coach. All that I ask is an honest appraisal of when you are going to look at my boat!! Don't tell me a couple days if you are too busy so that I don't take it somewhere else......Its called good customer service and should be very simple.
I Dropped my boat off to Carolina Coach at 1pm. Greg called me at 4:30pm of the same day. He not only told me what was wrong with my trim, but had also diagnosed several other knick knacky boat problems that I asked them to look into. I was beside myself when Greg told me that the boat would be ready by noon the next day. Picked up my boat the next day. Trim worked good. I went fishing. Everyone is happy.
From now on I will drive the extra 30 minutes to have my boat worked.....with a smile on my face.
***Please note that I don't at all expect my boat to be fixed within 1 day of dropping it off. I just want an honest appraisal of when its going to be looked at. It could be a week or even 2, as long as Carolina Coach and their team of mechanics are the ones doing the work.
The service department was so professional and attentive. Our vent fan was leaking and they repaired it and even gave our dog a couple of treats while we waited.
No pressure sales and competitive pricing. The service department is a little backed up at times (basically due to the popularity of RVs now) but they will do their best to work with your schedule and they do excellent work. If there are any issues with what they did, they will bend over backwards to make it right. Highly recommend!
Horrible place to spend your money! Ask for money to hold a camper and then when you decide you dont want that camper they keep the money. My advice would be too look elsewhere!
I live in Nashville, have family in Charlotte, and purchased a used Roadtrek in Asheville. There were significant water issues due to the previous owner not winterizing it properly. I was going to have it repaired in Tennessee but was told that Carolina Coach was an excellent service center. I drove there from Charlotte and told them the problems and my need to get back to Nashville in 3 days. Teresa said she would work me in somehow. Toby was assigned the job of working on the van. Two days later all of the water issues, a roof leak I wasn't aware of, and a few other items had been repaired. They were wonderful to work with and did an excellent job. If I have service work to be done that isn't an emergency, I will drive to Charlotte to visit family and leave the Roadtrek with Teresa and Toby to take care of the maintenance issues. Highly recommend.
These guys must have too much business right now. I've tried in vain to get them to contact me for over three weeks. Don't waste your time...
For people looking for top notch marine service, I'd highly recommend Greg, Virgil, and the service dept at CC&M. I've used them for about 5 years now and they have been most efficient in service work across many levels, mechanical, trailers, electronics issues, etc. I have to drive about 90 miles each way to get marine service, and these guys get me in an out as promised and that by itself is more than most marine outfits accomplish. They run a professional shop and I've had excellent results with them. I feel like I get honest answers from them, and detailed analytics on nailing problems.
Service dept worked me in for hurry up inspection on motorhome. These are GOOD people and always treat me well!!! This is my land schooner at Orange Beach, AL last spring.
We have bought 2 Pleasure-Way RVs from Matt Horniman at Carolina Coach and both times times were treated very well. There was never any pressure to "buy now" and we feel we were offered a very good price both times. Matt was pleasant to work with and showed us anything we wished to see.
The units here are not open to the public so you can't just drive onto the lot and start looking into them. You need a salesperson to unlock and show them. This has a definite advantage of keeping the RVs in tip top shape, as opposed to other dealers where people are constantly tromping through your prospective new camper.
The walk through they provide to familiarize you with the coach is very thorough. They take the time to make sure you know how to use all the systems.
Of all the RV dealerships we have dealt with, I would rate these guys up there at the top. Thanks to Matt, the buying experience was very pleasant.
We love our new boat we got from them they even go out on the lake to show you how it works!! They guy that helped my papaw his name was rick!!
My experience at Carolina Coach & Marine was enjoyable and hassle free. I found that the sales group was knowledgeable and honest allowing me to be comfortable with my purchase. Overall great large selection and friendly staff.
Just stopped in to look at RVs, not ready to buy just yet. Wanted to see door plans and feel out what exactly we wanted. This isnt the place to come if that s what you want to do. You better be ready to buy because they won t show you anything unless you fill out a full credit report and pull your credit, I asked them several times not to pull my credit as I didn t want the hit on my credit report and I was assured several times that it wouldn t. Low and behold as soon as I walked out because I got tired of waiting and not seeing any products Experian messaged me saying I had a hit on my credit report. I don t even know what they had or if they had any decent campers since you have to jump thru hoops before you are allowed to look at them.
