Great on time service on Christmas Day. My 80 year old mother has difficulty walking and driver dropped us off directly in front of Radio City on very congested streets. SUV was very clean. Although Carmel is offering me a discount to review their services, this review is an honest account of the services provides.

Top quality ride to the airport. The driver arrived 10 minutes early at the hotel with a sign with my last name. Fair and honest pricing as well, cheaper than Uber/Lyft and friendlier and more professional than a taxi.

My driver was Trevor and he was perfect from start to finish. Very kind and helpful. I've rode with other drivers and it appears NY traffic has gotten the better of them and not in a good way. Trevor was a different kind of driver - very amazing. (This is the rating I honestly give and didn't know I got a Google play credit)

I have used Carmel repeatedly and am consistently impressed with their service. Drivers are polite, friendly, and always early. I am never rushed and they help me with my bags. Cars are clean and comfortable. It is also nice to hear from the drivers that they enjoy working for Carmel, especially compared with other livery companies. Their rates are fair and for peace of mind, well worth the price!

Used Carmel twice on our trip to NYC for rides to and from the Newark airport. Both rides we're great and the booking process was a breeze. We will definitely be using Carmels again.

After a long day in airports due to delays and cancellations, it was great to know that this service was already set up. A simple phone call and the car was there within moments to get this tired bunch to our hotel. Driver 2088, Wei, was great. He loaded our bags Andy even pointed out some sights during our 2AM trip. I have used CARMEL many times and have decided it will be my ONLY way to and from the airport to Manhattan. The drivers have all been courteous and friendly and have given me safe and rapid travel. I have been awarded a $10 coupon for my review but I swear I would give this review even without any gimmes!!!

It was a rainy day and I scheduled a ride with Carmel months in advance. Not only did they not come pick me up, but when I called customer service multiple times to get my money back, no one resolved my issue. They told me they would get back to me but days have passed and no one has reached out to me. I have yet to receive a refund or any other compensation.

VERY DISSATISFIED with this company. You are better taking a taxi or uber.

I recently used Carmel for my latest NYC business trip. They far exceeded my expectation. At the airport even though I was in the wrong waiting area the driver took the time to find me. When it was time for my pickup to go back to the airport not only was the driver early and waiting for me to come downstairs from my hotel so I didn't have to wait he helped me load all my heavy video equipment cases into the mini-van. Excellent service all around.

Used them twice in the past month. Once for a 7 AM pickup from JFK and once for a 4 AM pickup from my home. Both times driver was right on time and friendly. Car was very clean.

I actually downloaded their app to make booking with Carmel even easier in the future. And I never download a company's app.

I called to ask about one charge related to a toll. The person who took my call was polite and answered my question. Also I think Carmel has done a great job throughout COVID-19 when other car companies have not. Would definitely use Carmel again.

This is my review but I am awarded $10 Car cash from Carmel for sharing it, but quite frankly, I want the ten bucks because I only use Carmel for trips in NYC because 1) they are professional, whether you use the phone or their excellently designed app, they will arrive on time to pick you up. With the app its very easy to organize your trip and track your car. 2) They are reasonably priced, and I've never had a problem with a driver, which is a real risk using those other car services with unprofessional, part-time drivers. Stick with Carmel, you can't go wrong.

Reserved and prepaid for service from LaGuardia airport to White Plains NY. Even purchased the upgraded service that included the tip and tolls. When I arrive, I call as instructed and am told where to meet my driver. Once I get to the pick up spot, I get a call saying there are no available cars today. No vehicles at all to transport me not now not later. It will take 3-6 days to get my refund .... I hope I get it!

Carmel allowed me to pre book a JFK pickup thru their app when Uber said it was not possible at that location as a future booking. Pickup was fast. Polite service. Only complaint is that rear shocks of the vehicle need work so it was very bumpy

I went to the vet this morning, June 5, with my cat and then came home 5 hours later and had the same driver. He was so courteous and tactful about the cat and me. She has cancer so neither one of us was in good shape. This is my review but Carmel is paying me $10 to write it. I would have written it anyway as I have used them for years and they are very reliable and have good drivers and know the roads. The cars are nice too.

This is about another trip. Last night, Sept. 3, I was at a restaurant, which now during the pandemic meant eating at tables on the street, and a huge downpour came. After waiting for ages for it to subside, it did not. I called Carmel thinking now one could come for ages but very quickly a driver came and took me and my friend to two different addresses. This is another review Carmel is paying me for but I would write it anyway.

Daughter emergency from the Times sq to Queens, the driver spoke English well and his car was clean. He knew the fastest routes. My family and I felt safe. Great service. We recommend this service and will use it again.

I been Using Carmel for years and its been OK but on my last trip the driver was rude and charged me his tip. My niece left her iPad on the car I try to get in touch with the driver right of the way, But he would not picked up the phone. I call back the Carmel office but I didn't get any help from them ether, I asked to speak to a manager, they keep disconnecting me, and when I finally go to speak to a manager, his attitude was very careless and helpless, I will never use this car service gain, and if You leave anything in the car consider it lost because the won't care

I ve used Carmel several times including for my parents from and to Long Island and Jfk. They are always polite, on time and the best price. Many of my friends have been turned on to them as well. Generally a reliable service for pick up and trips. My specific driver was courteous, but was not the most skilled navigator. I had to say something to avoid an accident and my child was in the car. That scared me, but i suppose it happens. Overall Ok with my trip.

Have used the service a few times upon arriving from the airport for work and leisure travel. Some of the drivers have been good, some not so much. My most recent driver arrived nearly 20 minutes later than expected, and then went the wrong direction when taking me home from the airport.

After having a very hectic travel day, Carmel seriously came to the rescue with a same-day booking I had made roughly 3 hours prior to the pickup at LaGuardia Airport. The driver was really professional and got me to my destination safely, as quickly as possible and at a very reasonable price. I ve been using Carmel for more than ten years and I have always found them to be reliable. The drivers are polite and often arrive a bit early. They have taken me to the airport whenever I ve flown as well as local rides. I recommend Carmel highly.

I have been using, Carmel service for years traveling to New York City and New Jersey visiting family they have always been prompt and courteous never had an issue I will continue using them at various locations throughout the US. They have paid me $10 for writing this but that does not affect how I feel about this car service.

Arrived on time and got around the city just fine. Only thing drivers were worried about is their tips. How are you going to tip me? Is the first thing we were asked both times we got in the car. Incredibly unprofessional and no other conversation other than tip. Not pleased with that. I intend to tip but not be harassed about it.

I always use Carmel to take me to and from the airport. The biggest issue I have at the airport is it seems I'm always waiting a bit longer for my car than others are. That being said, drivers are always courteous and cars are always clean.

This morning we needed a car at 5:30 am. The driver arrived at 5:25. I am often uncomfortable riding in cars but his driving was very reassuring and I felt safe, even on the dreaded FDR drive. Carmel offered a $10 credit for writing this review, but I would have been glad to write it even without this payment, because our trip was perfect. I was curious and checked the fare with LYFT, and it was lower, even with LYFT's offer of a 50% discount. It was much easier to reserve this car ahead of time rather than scramble for a ride so early in the morning unsure of how long it would take to arrive. I will definitely take Carmel again without reservation.

My street address is very obscure, so a lot of people have a hard time to find it, including this Carmel driver. But he called me, I guided him to locate it, and he did turn around to get to the gate. Don't rely on just GPS! Sometimes you do real need human contacts, not only virtual!
