Carmel is what a car service should be. I have used them for 5 years and never had less than a perfect experience. We all know we can't say that with confidence for the others. And, having a reasonable, competitive price for the experience makes me a FAN of Carmel.

Car was clean and perfect for accommodating my family and luggage. The only thing that kept me from a 5 star rating was that the card reader wouldn't work and the process to pay was time consuming over the phone while I was stuck standing in the street. Things happen so over all its not a huge deal for me. I'll use them again in the future for sure. Plus they even offer to give incentives and discounts off future reservations for things like posting reviews such as this. They don't even have to be 5 stars just a honest review of my experience. After posting my review they will give me a $10 discount. That's worth it to me for a few minutes of my time. Carmel is great check em out.
7/16/19 Had a good ride through the horrific traffic of Manhattan. My driver knew all the back roads, so we made excellent progress. Sadly, the tolls have now increased to $9.50, so be prepared to add that to your total, even if you paid in advance. I always use Carmel to and from LaGuardia.

I signed up for Carmel limo yesterday, this is my first time using it. I asked for a car at 3:40am to go to the airport. My driver arrived about 20 minutes before I needed him, helped with my bags, was pleasant and appreciative, driving safely! Overall very satisfied! Something is wrong with my app so I ve been calling n receptionists are the nicest in setting up my trip.
First time ever I did the pickup at the airport and he was there in 2 minutes. Again when I called and said I was there the receptionist said he would help me find my car and he did.
I actually think it s cheaper than Uber!

My trip from Newark to Manhattan with Carmel was great, and well worth the $75. The only problem I had was the extended wait time at the airport. I only share reviews occasionally and never when they're scathing- plus I'm motivated by the coupon for $10 off my next ride for writing this review: Carmel is *very* easy to communicate with and they respond immediately. I was hesitant to spend almost twice what an Uber would have cost but it was worth it. Why? Because it's almost impossible to get an Uber/Lyft to commit to picking you up from the airport. With Uber/Lyft you'll get a ride confirmation, wait 10-20 minutes for your car to arrive, only to have it dump you for any customer that can help the driver net an additional dollar or two. After a long journey it was a relief to have a very professional driver pick me up and get me home safely and efficiently.
I booked a Carmel car to pick us up from LaGaudia to Manhattan and back during our recent trip to NYC. The price was GREAT, the service was GREAT, and it was a perfect car service. I have always used public transportation in NYC, but with a group of 6, this was the best idea! For about 40$ per person, we had round trip service to and from Manhattan. The pickup and drop offs were seamless! As soon as we landed and received our bags, I called the number provided in the reservation. Shortly thereafter, the driver called me directly and told me exactly where to go to meet him, and same process on the return to the airport. I will also add that we booked the SUV for 6 people and 6 bags, and both trips were in luxury, large, SUV's, such as high-end Chev Suburban/Tahoe or something comparable. Overall, great service and easy to use!

As a frequent user of Lyft and Uber, I always experience some degree of anxiety about who will respond when I request a driver. I saw Carmel on line and checked their reviews before booking. When I called them, I inquired as to their level of screening drivers and their coverage. After satisfying myself that they were reputable, I engaged them to drive me from NY to Easton, Pa. Nothing could have prepared me for the delightful experience that I would have!
My driver, Maria, was pleasant and an excellent driver. She was early in order to be punctual. Pleasant, but not intrusive, she responded to my every need. The car was immaculate and her driving exemplary. There was no easy mode of transportation between the city and my destination so I was delighted to find this service. Lastly, the rates were fair and reasonable. I gave them 5 stars but would ve happily given more if allotted the opportunity. They have a new long term client, for sure!
I reserved a car with Carmel to and from LGA. Booking the rides was super simple on their website. My ride back went perfectly well, from pick up to drop off. My driver was nice and respectful. The car was very comfortable. I would use them again in the future.

I am really happy I switched from Via to Carmel. Using the app is really east and you can also immediately reach customer service on the phone. The car I got was so much nicer than any of the cars I have gotten recently with via or uber. The driver was professional and polite and helped me with my luggage. The cost of the ride was comparable to via share and I got the car all to myself- no annoying people on their phones or driving all over town to add people to my ride. Carmel is now my first choice for a car service!

This experience could not have been better. Coming into LaGaurdia airport is always an experience, especially now with the construction. The driver (Badge #1012) kept me informed of exactly where he was and his anticipated arrival time, which was right on time. He opened the door, assisted with the luggage and offered hand sanitizer. My driver, Julia, has been with Carmel 20 years. That speaks well for her and for Carmel. I've used the service over a 30-year period and it does not disappoint. It has changed with the times and offers a reliable, friendly and fair service. Today is the NYC marathon and Julia arrived at my hotel 15 minutes early to make sure I made it to LGA on time. She knew what routes to take to avoid the street/bridge closures and I was at the airport in 20 minutes. Highly recommend this service. Ask for Julia to guarantee success.

Booked through Chase rewards app. Called to change my pickup time. Dispatcher was nice. Car arrived on time and at correct place. Driver was nice enough and car was clean. Only issue is tolls were supposedly not included in price which was annoying to worry about when you re trying to catch a flight. Luckily I had cash to give to driver.

I reserved a sedan for a trip to LaGuardia Airport, which is a mess due to construction. The driver arrived 15 minutes early, got us to the airport in plenty of time and most importantly dropped us off right at the Delta door. Plus, I paid for the whole thing, tolls and tip included, on line. It was perfect!
Carmel has always provided me with consistent service. They are prompt, the cars are clean, and they give very good customer service. I like using a service that has a fixed rate and can be scheduled when going to the airports because I know I will get there in time for my flight and won't have to pay to sit in traffic. The drivers are also very familiar with the airports and take you right to the airline you are flying. They also know many routes and will avoid traffic when they can! Carmel is one of the best services to get to the airport!
