Afternoon tea was lovely, charming meeting room and delicious savoury and sweet treats

Great accommodations, excellent service and close to the airport.

Went here for a Sunday carvery. Lady at the till was unfriendly. Baby changing facilities have no paper so had to put our daughter on plastic surface. Carvery price adequate however the ham I choose was rubbery, the stuffing wasn't much better. Will not return for a meal.

Excellent, friendly staff would go again. If you're ordering club Sandwich and someone is ordering carvery, make sure you order the club first. My wife had finished and her plate was taken away while I was still waiting for my club Sandwich. Not there fault though. As we got the carvery first and then I ordered the sandwich.

Nice relaxed setting great for children food was great value

So far great stay an extra night Grace horans did a excellent job making us fell welcome so freindly when part order wad wrong not by fault of her she fixed it 100% part of reason staying that extra night thanks

Stayed in the hotel one week ago with my business partners And never will I stay again. waited an hour before we recived food. And upon arrival the food was of very poor quality. When asked to bring back food the waitress (Rebecca) shook her head as she lifted my plate away from the table. Also there was flies in my room.

Bit of a mess in the lobby, always food and crumbs everywhere. Otherwise everything else is superbly clean. Rooms are cozy and have free wifi. Small selection of basic channels. Shuttle to airport has to be booked in advance so dont forget to do that, also make sure you have your times correct!

Breakfast was superb, extra charge. Plenty to choose from and very affordable. Lobby/bar has good selection of drinks but a bit expensive.

The CON, terrible transportation. The buses are rarely on time and getting anywhere will require either a rental car, waiting for a random bus or a cab fair. Plan your transortation ahead of time or only use this hotel as an airport one night.

Overall, clean with great customer service but far too far away from anything and with little transportation options or very expensive ones.

Called in for cavery lunch with my family, every available table was filthy stacked with plates and food, when i asked a staff member for the table to be cleaned i was told to find someone else .asked two more members of staff and i was told to wait a few minutes 25 minutes later we left.

I'm dropping one star for the fact that at dinner,a waiter (on the evening of 23rd May,in case you're reading!) continuously placed plates not in front of me, but in front of the (empty!) chair beside me...quite unnecessary and annoying,as well as never offering jugs of water,condiments, 'everything ok?' questions or did I need to order any drinks etc.,,
However,the food was delicious, as was the breakfast. (might I suggest mushrooms???!).
There's a small childrens playground and plenty of outdoor green areas if you have small ones.
Rooms are very clean and modern (tiny bit less cosy,more corporate) but spacious and comfortable.
Complimentary parking and WiFi, and the receptionist who checked me in that evening was very pleasant and helpful.
Bit off the beaten track, you wouldn't walk into Balbriggan or Drogheda (or anywhere) while staying but you're just a short derive from many local amenities and towns.

Nice clean hotel, kitchen staff could be a bit more helpful.

Good night's sleep before we went on holiday. Nights accommodation and free parking for the duration of our break at a reasonable price.

Just home from an Overnight Stay at our Christmas/Retirement Party Night.
I expecting that this being Party Season & very busy that the Sevice may not be up to scratch.
Boy was I wrong.
I could not find one negative thing to stay about this hotel right from the word go when the booking was made - to Check in - Rooms Lovely - Hotel decorated very tastefully for Christmas.
Our function Room was so Lovely & the Waiting Staff were wonderful. So fast Efficient and so so pleasant.
I think our waitress was a Comedian she had such a great sense of Humour (Long dark hair tied back in a Pony Tail)
Breakfast was great (Paula lovely helpful waitress) & Laura checking out. We will be back & the full party of almost 50 people had no Complaints & would highly recommend this hotel. Its no wonder its a busy place & so convenient to EVERYWHERE. Thanks a million guys

Great Wifi - tasty Scones

A good selection of large bland rooms near the airport.

This place could be exceptional, but has no spa and has only a tiny gym.

This hotel is below average the food stopped serving at 8.30pm no room service for any type of food and tryed to charge a 5 fee to drop 2 drinks to the room at 2.30pm in the day

A weird setup

Very comfortable stay. Great host and wonderful view from the balcony. Surrounded by nature, the food was great enjoyed the stay. Would recommend to anyone

Clean and comfortable rooms with nice views. Located well outside Dublin so keep that in mind. Walking and jogging trail near by.

Only went for dinner in the lounge as it had a kiddie menu. Food was a bit pricey for the all round mediocrity we observed. Could've been that there was a 700+ head event on an staff were run off their feet, but certainly would think twice about my options before returning. Might give the restaurant a try, in hopes the standards are higher.

On 16th November myself and my daughter were going to an Irish dancing feis in Dublin. I was supposed to be at the City West Hotel but mistakenly went to the City North Hotel. Suddenly I found myself in the wrong hotel, running out of time for the feis which was going to cost me 100 euro to get to in a taxi as it was at the other side of Dublin. As I had been dropped of, i had no way of getting to my destination. Three members of the CityNorth Hotel staff went above and beyond their duty and I am forever grateful. Caroline, Eddy and Sabrina worked together and arranged for me to get a lift with Caroline from the CityNorth Hotel to the City West, Eddy arranged for me to get a room at the City West which was fully booked but he pulled strings and Sabrina arranged for the refund having paid for a room at the Hotel. I just want to say these members of staff were so kind to me and my daughter and not only saved me a lot of money but also ensured myself and my daughter go to our destination in time and safely. Thank you so much to the lovely staff and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone as the staff are second to none. Thank you so much.

Disgusted,sat for fifteen mins,no service. Informed the staff. Disappointed.

Parking was in very short demand and their lobby seat are very uncomfortable BUT the day was saved by a very polite young lady called Ciara who despite being on her own and under pressure, made the best latte I've had this year..

Great sleep, brilliant facilities and parking and helpful, friendly staff

Room was nice and fairly spacious however bed and pillows were very old and uncomfortable. Pillows were like sandbags. The shower drain was blocked so water took a long time to drain and the shower was very old and stiff.

Very much surprised at the size of the room which included a dressing area,everything was spotless and the staff very help full. Will definatly use it on an annual basis

Stayed here at the weekend for the Christmas feis. The hotel was extremely busy and the staff were definitely put through their paces. They were extremely friendly and very pleasant even though they were stretched to the limit. Special shout out to Audrey who was very helpful and accommodated 8 of us in the restaurant even though it was almost closing time. So a big thanks to the restaurant staff and chefs for our lovely meal.

Went for lunch here. Not great. Won't be going there again.

Hotel is very convenient, just off the M1 and 20 mins Shuttle bus ride to the Airport. Shuttle bus service is excellent and runs on time. Rooms are spacious, food is very nice and all given by excellent staff who do a great job. Would really recommend this Hotel to anyone travelling.

Great hotel. Very clean, very open but still private if your with someone. Good value on Sunday dinner. Worth a visit if your in the area.

Absolutely awful service! Waited over half an hour for a sandwich which then came out wrong. Was told they didn't have what I wanted in the kitchen so they decided to give me that. When I said I wasn't paying for it the Manager proceeded to get into a huge argument with me and basically called me a liar saying I was only waiting 10 minutes. Awful staff and dreadfully rude manager

General cleanliness of hotel is shocking. Suspicious stains on bedding. Dirty bath and dust everywhere! Spent 2 nights here and got room changed twice! Restaurant staff are clueless and the food is sub standard. One of the worst hotel experiences I've had.staff don't seem to care at all. Location and distance to attractions is the only reason for the second star. AVOID

Cheap hotel, bad food. The breakfast is very nasty and scanty.

Probably the worst hotel lounge experience I've ever had. We ordered chicken burgers, a pot of tea and two glasses of water, none of which which had arrived an hour later. The waitress advised us that as we'd have to wait most likely another 30 minutes it was best to try elsewhere. Thankfully the nearby garage had tea and a sandwich.

Rooms were extremely tidy, entrance to the hotel itself is beautiful, full bar and restaurant is available with very friendly staff. Only down side I have come across is the weak Wi-Fi signal, even in the middle of the corridor, other than that, very well run hotel.

Ok went here for 2 nights with the family in March 19. While the rooms were adequate for what we required for that stay the service in the bar for food was terrible. The kitchen was unable to keep up with demand ..people were not getting their orders when others in the group were finished .They advertise as a 4 star cannot really see where the 4 stars come from

The hotel and services are good, but the location 35 km away from Dublin makes it a convenient hotel for distance. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere ..

Sorry guys, I am not one for writing negative reviews. But decided to write this not so positive review in the hope someone of the City North Hotel management might see my review. I believe a few small changes would make a huge difference. But before I start, I must say that the food and bedroom were of 5 star standard. Now for the not so good review. I found the lobby a bit chilly. There were glasses and teacups left on the tables in the lobby with no sign of anyone clearing the tables even though these tables were in full view of the check in desk. While getting a plate for breakfast, I had to take the forth plate down as the top three plates were not properly cleaned. I had to go looking for tea and coffee for breakfast. And finally, I got the feeling that some of the staff, (not all) were really not happy in their jobs, and this showed. I think a smile or hello would not go astray. Sorry guys, but at the moment, I don't think I will be revisiting CityNorth Hotel anytime soon.

I was staying in room 303 and was very disappointed with the noise from the motorway, was consistent all night.
The double bed mattress was old and tired and I didn't enjoy my sleep.
Ar check out I was very disappointed as I had paid by credit card when booking in online but at check out I went to pay for my dinner from the previous night only to be asked for the room total and dinner.
Very nice relaxed bar and seating area and the fish and chips was very nice.

Been staying here this week with work and it's a lovely place, nice rooms, great staff and really good food. Recommend this place anytime.

Lovely hotel. Was here for a tribute concert. Great Craic. Friendly bartender. Nice sitting area in the lounge.
