Only use CityNorth for meeting but never had a problem with any event. Staff are helpful also has a good selection of food in dining area.
It's a nice place lovely food but very slow serving
Honestly the worst service of any hotel I've stay in. Unhelp, lazy and slow. Shocking for a 4 star hotel.
Was at a charity function in this hotel. The staff couldn't have been more helpful on the day. Nice location also.
Busy motorway hotel used by people who are using it to park their car when flying from Dublin airport witch is a 30 minute drive from the hotel they have a shuttle transfer to and form the airport witch sometimes does not run when I was there a children's dance competition was being held at the hotel it was very busy and noisey hard to get food as the staff were too busy decided to leave the hotel to get food and of course needed a car as there is nothing around the hotel
Nice sized rooms, coffee machine, great restaurant. Could not fault them.
Place is a bit remote and I made the mistake of booking last minute, so price was way out there. Otherwise, ok hotel
Nice place to stay. Location just 20 min from Tayto Park, 10 min from Laytown Beach. Petrol station just on the corner. We had family room booked for 1 night dinner and full irish breakfast in price. Totally worth it. Food tasty, staff also lovely.
Arrived at Dublin Airport for transfer to hotel which did not turn up!! Rang to be told we had been forgotten about! Great start. Got to hotel, stood for ten minutes at reception then got served by the most unhelpful unfriendly receptionist I have ever met. Was told we could not pay in sterling however after obviously giving her a lot of bother she went and asked a manager and this could be done. Then we were told we couldn't get anything to eat because we were too late!! Even though the reason why we were later than expected was because we were not picked up at airport!!! No apology either. Not a good first impression of hotel however when we went into bar area the staff were absolutely lovely and friendly and told us of course we could get something to eat. Room was lovely and spacious. Tv lost picture half way through watching a film. Hotel is very handy but very much doubt we will be back.
An okay place to stay for one night that is handy for the motorways and ferries.
So handy off motorway...very attentive waiting staff...
Clean fresh comfortable rooms didn't want to get up next morning heating/air conditioning easy to use wish will hopefully return soon.
Lovely hotel, great night at the Abba and Tina Turner tribute night.
Wonderful stylish hotel in ideal location for tourist
I went there on 2 occasions, and frankly I did not like it
The service is okay, so is the place.
The food is on the same appreciation
go somewhere else rather than to waste your money.
Good hotel, great food in the restaurant and handy shuttle bus to the airport
Good modern hotel with airy open feel . easily accessed from M1
Lovley hotel lovley room Beautiful food Lovley staff can't fault it
I tried to book a wedding here and the person I dealt with wasn't very accommodating at all and I just found the service to be very poor. Wouldn't go back to this hotel
Nice hotel and staff. Went to a Christmas party event food was lovely and the staff where on the ball when it came to getting your dinner and if they see u waiting they come to you quickly to see if you had everything and if you where ok. I'd 100% recommend CityNorth Hotel.
I booked a stay, park and fly package here.
I liked the good car park with easy access to the hotel. The hotel is easy to find, and there is a free shuttle to the airport. The hotel room was a good size and looked fairly clean.
The bed was not very comfy, a bit hard and lumpy.
The bathroom was not as good as it could be. The towels smelt of chip fat, there were rust marks on the bath shower screen, the toilet seat wobbled and the water pressure was up and down when showering.
The bar food was just OK, though and a bit expensive at 15e for a burger or pizza.
Breakfast was OK - self service, and a decent selection.
I would like to rate this hotel higher and if they fix the problems would stay again if I got a deal.
Amazing location with easy access to many services and transport. Staff are professional and friendly, the rooms are just fantastic
I had an amazing time here it's a great place for different events, the staff are friendly, helpful and it's a very good place to stay in
Very handily pkaced on the M1, the rooms are ok, very clean. Very basic fitness suit and no pool. The food is good, if a little pricey. Restaurant had been refurbished recently and is very comfortable. I stay regularly for work and well continue to do so as of it's great location but you can get bett e for the money a bit further away from Dublin.
Hi me and my two stayed 1 night before flying the next day 1 of my sons lost his i phone my wife conttacted the hotel as we had to leave 1 week later we returned to the hotel to find the phone had been found and returned i would like to thank the staff and Niamh Leddy for help and kindness we will use the hotel again
Staff friendly. Drink and food excellent. Room little musty. Entertainment brilliant
Fine for an over night before an early morning flight and a reasonable price. However dont be fooled by the 4 stars on the outer wall. The rooms are dated and in need of a good clean (we found multiple cobwebs). But again much better value than other hotela offering inclusive parking and shuttles to dublin airport
Receptionist very pleasant and helpful. The bar staff are very good at ignoring you.
Absolutely appalling stay felt so embarressed got late check out and staff just walking into the room since 9 o'clock in the morning 3 times it happend rang reception the second time and just got told sorry wouldn't happen again but unfortunately it Did 3rd time was just out of the shower and man walked in to the room so rang down again this time fuming once again was told sorry wouldn't happen again wouldn't never stay here again ... Going home feeling embarressed and tired !!
Tired hotel with poor service in the bar dining room
Have stayed here a few times. Lovely hotel, staff always helpful & friendly.
Brilliant hotel for business meetings and conferences
Have stayed here regularly in past few years and always received great service
Nice hotel just off the M1 at Gormanstown, large function room available for parties or weddings. Nice bars and the food was lovely, and not to pricey. Plenty of waiting staff and they were all very friendly.
Top class Hotel beautiful surroundings and beautiful food from the restraunt
I haven't been to this hotel for a long time as on my last visit I was very disappointed with service and it most certainly wasn't clean, after a long process of try to get a response for my e-mails I finally got a response, I was told next time I was in I was to make myself known to the manager and I would be looked after, I most certainly wasn't going in to make myself known as I would of felt like a begger. I went reluctantly there today to meet friend's for lunch, we had the carvery IT WAS COLD and the seats and floor were dirty, I felt there was no point in complain as it doesn't make a difference, I won't be going again
We had a great time last night at the Christmas Party the food service music and staff were excellent. Well done to everyone.
Went to a show in the ballroom great night excellent food great value highly recommended
I went to the City North Hotel today for evening tea with my friend, what a wonderful experience it , I am usually not a cake or bun person but believe me the food provided, a selection of sandwich's and pastry's served were to die for and I mean that . The service and friendliness of the staff was second to none. There was also beautiful Irish made jewelry for sale at a very reasonable price, I will defiantly return for another visit.
Went to bingo but the smell in the lobby outside the hall was awful smelled like dirty toilets.
If you're wanting to stay near the airport then stay here.
Had a wonderful relaxing afternoon enjoying Afternoon Tea with my daughter Lorna. The staff were lovely the service excellent, and the food was delicious and imaginative which was especially pleasing as my daughter is vegan and too often finds she is presented with the same dreary choices when dining out. Thank you again City North Staff. Maureen Redmond
Nice place, friendly staff and relaxing environment
Great place to go for a conference, highly recommend to others.
Hotel is located next to the highway at 30 minutes of the Dublin airport. Ok for conference, but not for a touristic trip. Rooms are ok, but can use some extra maintenance and those located at the side of the highway are quite noisy. Food is nice, but the reception snacks were all the same so could usd some variation. Friendly staff!
Nice small playground for young kids. Hotel staff are very friendly and great place for events. A nice walk down to the village of Stamullen via the quiet trail path.
Beds are somewhat hard. Not quite as fancy as it first appears but adequate.
Quite noisy at night with doors slamming etc
very busy place. Good place for a meeting. Staff friendly, food is good and reasonably priced.
I'm at this place right now and I love it but swimming pool so 4 stars but there's a TV in my hotel room so 5 stars
Fire alarm went off at 5am to wake everyone up.
Food was good.
Buffet style breakfast on Sunday was replaced by a set breakfast on the Monday which was disappointing and overpriced.
