Bring YOUR OWN gloves, dont buy them here! They dont have finger tips on the gloves and it will tear them up. We did the full treetop adventure. By the 5th course I was done, my body on strike. It was a wonderful workout and fun too. If you are not able to do something (I want able to do the rope wall) then they will let you walk to the next course. The guides are AWESOME. the only complaint is the gloves. They really should sell gloves with fingers. See my pics for my battle wounds Haha

My son is 49 inches tall. I was charged for that ticket . He was turned away from rides that had a 48 inch required height. He was crying because he wanted to do the slides and was getting turned away. I have had much better experiences in the past. On the plus side not may steps since you walk the mountain to get to the top of alot of slides.
CB represents some of the best skiing in the Poconos. Their ski/snowboard school is one of the finest in the Mid-Atlantic. Two high-speed detachable chairlift quads, and diverse terrain, make for a great visit, but you've got to mind the crowds on the weekends!!!
I m an intermediate skier and this mountain had great variety of slopes for me! Getting rentals was very easy, and the mountain is so close to the city which makes for the perfect day trip!
I never write reviews, but this awful experience needed to be public knowledge. We came thinking we were well prepared for a day of skiing as we did the research on the website, and even called the day of. Got to the mountain and got completely different information about prices, lessons, and rentals. On top of that very uninformed staff, or just plain rude. The rental process was a nightmare. Signs are everywhere around the place but serve no help, as the staff has something totally different to say. Mind you we went on a non-busy week day and they were still unorganized. Can t even imagine during peak season.
So many people around us shared in our frustration whether it be about the prices, times, trails or even the overall rudeness of the staff.
Had a good time at the Halloween but was disappointed we couldn't zip line or the haunted coaster unless you called ahead who thinks of that for a haunted attraction
My son loves it here, but there's only so much you can do. We usually buy tickets for the outdoor waterpark. This year it was very crowded and there were very long waits for the rides if you didn't purchase speed passes. Busy slides were manned by only one employee when there should have been two to deal with the crowds and to speed things along. After four years, we'll probably skip Camelbeach next year.
If you're looking for a mountain where drinking is more common in the lift lines than face masks, boy is this the mountain for you.
Camelback mountain is Pennsylvania's premier mountain, which puts it on par with most landfills in other parts of the country. There was one notable aspect that set it apart from skiing on a landfill; the hour long lift lines. Taking into account that the mountain is only 2000 feet tall, your ski to wait ratio is going to come out to around 1:10.
Come on down to this Pennsylvania treasure and get a whiff of that dip spit and coronavirus saturated air. There's plenty of it to go around for all of the thousands of people allowed to ski at one mountain during a pandemic.
Nice place to ski and snow tubing. I was there with my husband in January on a long weekend and it was peak winter. I was amazed by the number of visitors to that place. Skiing was completely booked by the time we got there but snow tubing was open. There were long queues for snow tubing but it was worth it. They provide snow tubing pass for 4 hours in which one can go tubing again and again for about 15 times. There is a small store inside where all the snow wear and accessories like warmers, socks, ski pants, sweaters, scarfs and caps are available.
Place is great the only issue was getting off the lyft they deff need more snow Trails are great wasn't too crowded First aid staff were very helpful we will be back soon
My kids loved Camelback! The indoor water park and arcade were fun and kept the kids busy. The food was very expensive! For a family of 5, we spent about $400 in food in 3 days. The day before we went home, we drove 5 miles to a McDonald s for breakfast because it was affordable. I d definitely go back, but have other meal options.
This was a nice change from the usual. The staff here were friendly. There were some fun trails. They were fast runs, but the lift line moved fast, and the lift was quick back to the top. Conditions were decent, but I can't score them for something out of their control.
Great hotel with a ton of things to do. Indoor water park is great with a lot of slides, great wavepool. Also great indoor activities like arcade, mini golf, laser tag, indoor ropes course. Water park included with stay, everything else is extra, but fairly reasonable. Several bars and restaurants as well. Good sized hotel rooms.
It's a good experience to ski this place is okay I didn't like the training I didn't feel like I got my money's worth it was short unless you want to take a personal training person the trainer I got was good but it wasn't enough for what I paid
The room was just okay but checking was very disappointing because of poor customer service. We weren t informed of the new operating hours or the no house keeping during our stay and at $1500 for (2) day stay we expected much more. Add to that instead of being open at 10am for indoor section they moved opening indoors 1pm. The all inclusive package isn t and they nickel and dime you for every little thing $5 for coffee $3 for fountain drinks that aren t refillable. Saying that they re operating at 50% is total BS and it s completely unsafe. THEY RE ACTIVELY SELLING TICKETS TO ALL INDOOR & OUT DOOR SECTIONS whether you re staying at the hotel or not. The number of people that are repeatedly allowed to group up without masks in lines for everything from food to rides to walking around was/is outrageous. We will never waste our time or money at this COVID-19 breading ground. This was our experience while staying in July 2020 8 people in total (3) kid & (5) adults.
An average mountain. Below average ticket and rental experience (90+ minute wait). Fair pricing but nothing to sing about. Better to rent off mountain for cheaper prices and a much better service.
This mountain is excellent for the area. I would say it is the best PA ski mountain. A variety of terrain and long runs. Of course it s no Vermont or west coast but the best here.
Trails were great, a little icy. All in all a good time was had. What is disappointing is the food services. Our party decided to spend Super Bowl Sunday on the mountain.
The food services were absolutely horrible in the new hotel and restaurant areas. We hit two different places.
1) Lunch - party of four order wings, sandwiches, soup, drinks, etc. Waitress proceeds to tell us that the wing special is only 10 not 12 and shorts us all 2 wings on each order. Clearly the TV on the bar states it's 12 for Lunch & Dinner. We got them but only after a lengthy argument? Really.
2) Dinner - Super Bowl Sunday somewhere in the new hotel. Waitress comes over: clearly high on something. "How much for a dozen wings?" "$18.99" That seems a bit high? "Oh alright I'll do them for 12." Very shady already. Three of us now all order wings, nachos, and drinks. 20 minutes later waitress comes back: "I forgot what you ordered?" Ordered the exact same thing and she only remembers nachos.
Nachos come with hair in them courtesy of the chef. Send them back gagging.
Superbowl is over. The waitress comes over saying our bill is $14 for two Yuengling Lagers. (We never got our wings or the third drink). No receipt or itemized list anyway. I ask for a receipt to pay with CC, waitress then forgets and we wait another 15. No this time she actually forgot we existed. I watched her take cash from other unsuspecting families and issue no receipt. This is a sick and twisted person. She even said the CC machine wasn't working? In a new multi million dollar establishment I find this hard to believe. Enough is enough and we left.
I understand the facilities are new in this region but come on. Very disappointed. Been coming for years both in winter and summer and it has never been this bad.
Horrible customer service. Group sales is extremely rude. I ve been coming here for years and every year it s the same thing, rude, confused, unprofessional, argumentative, horrible.
For being so close to home, I like Camelback. It is a bit small and can get crowded, and the food is not too great... But a ticket is relatively cheap and I still had a great time with my friends
I'm used to riding in Vermont so I didn't know what to expect out of NJ. This is a short ride hill. Crazy busy on the weekends. Band in the bar was cool and food was good.
Camelback was an amazing resort with thrilling waterslides and other amazing attractions like ziplining across the entire resort! Icouldn't have asked for any better
Great place the kids loved it! I m now in love with zip lining. Had an issue there though and security was of no help because the incident wasn t caught on camera they state. I did email the company about this.
HUGE MOUNTAIN! 36 active trails that are perfect for any skier. Plus there's tubing, an awesome indoor water park, and an outlet shopping center right down the road. Lots of fun for any age
Wow!!! If you want lift tickets wait in line. If you want rental equipment wait in line. If you purchase these online you still have to wait in line. All of which will take about 2 hours on the weekend. So the online process is another waste of time.
I can't understand why they do not have point of sale kiosks for lift tickets. That would totally help reduce wasted times in line and produce much happier customers and attendants.
The slopes are fun but the layout for beginners is horrible.
I went there for some snowboarding the other day. Most of the black diamond trails were closed but I don't blame them; there's been no snow. A few of the blues were a little icy but overall the conditions were good. It was my first time at Camelback and I had a great time.
I love love this place !!! My family and I have gone 3 times and it was wonderful each time. The staff is amazing they really go above and beyond to make sure you have a comfortable stay.
First time skiing, this place was great to work on learning how to ski. There weren't too many people. The snow felt great. I fell on it so many times but got up without any trouble.
I think everything was really great for a family destination if you've kids otherwise there's just too many kids and if you're on the East Coast it's probably really awesome to snowboard there but it's very icy and the snow is artificial if you come to the West Coast you have natural snow it's powder and you don't need to worry about a bunch of kids everywhere when your snowboarding. I really like the food at the bar and that you can come in from the ski lift to hang out and get warm. The spa is set up with really nice stuff but I think that the service in the prices totally sucked. I got waxed in the lady didn't even remove half my hair and said it was like never happened before and she made my skin bleed.
Good value for what the mountain offers. The conditions were good when I was there even with the lack of snow and cold condition this season. The place is sooooooooooo crowded.
