Ski resort offers good variety of trails, from beginner to experts. Good facilities and friendly staffs.
Good highly recommend a cabana if your going to be there all day.
This is a review of the ski day at Camelback. The runs and the mountain are decent which is not the issue. The issue is that place is so overcrowded and the wait lines at the lifts are so insane that it makes the whole experience unpleasant and disappointing. For someone looking to spend a nice day on the slopes and ski this is not the place for you. You will spend more than half the day waiting to get on the lifts. Overall terrible. First time there and definitely my last time. Stay away.
No safety protocols in place. This was our first time visiting. We have skied at a few places during the pandemic and found safety protocols in place but not at Camelback. 50% of people were not covering face in lift lines and public faces. I saw an employee at top of magic carpet not wearing a mask and other employees working lift lines not covering noses. They completely did not care. Lift lines were very long and not separated like other resorts. We didn't go to top of mountain because lines were even longer. And the parking lots were filled beyond capacity with people parking on the road.
Easy terrain. Covered the whole mountain in a half a day. A little dicey in areas as most east coast mountains are. I d imagine this would be a good mountain for beginners when it s not crowded.
Lifts were quick but only half the trails were open, almost no terrain
This place is so awesome! Went for a getaway. Son loved the wave pools and water rides as my hubby loved the 4000 feet zipline. The view was amazing at the top. Took ski lift up and the scenery was totally awesome. This a great place for kids of all ages: 2-99.
Going during week days to avoid lines. Great experience!!!
Great place great trails no lines good food and drinks
Great day skiing! Too bad all the trails weren't open.
I wish I can spend every weekend here! Enjoyed my little getaway and everything is so close! Food, fun and shopping
The best place to go to enjoy yourself and children as well!!!!
Mediocrely groomed, they blow water-heavy snow and their food is horrifically overpriced.
Had a great time there awesome snowboarding. I wish the ski patrol wasn't so strict tho.
It is a beautiful place, fun, but come well prepared because it is very cold.
Had a awesome time learning how to snowboard at Camelback. Got lessons from Dallas whom showed us the ropes and was helpful and encouraging throughout! Kudos to Camelback and Dallas!
Loved it. Had a blast snow tubing and board and skiing . So much fun at the end of the trip we spent a couple days inside in the indoor water park!!
we went ziplining but the times were different so we went with the earliest time because we have somewhere to be and we originally got tickets for the mountain ride. we wanted to switch to the ziplining and add the remaining money to the ziplining. the lady who was telling us was very rude and had no manners what so ever and telling us she will call the cops on us. this lady needs to be fired. she also said that there were no refunds but before our close friends easily got refunded there money and she was just making everything so difficult. this wasn t fair to us.
Three bedrooms, full kitchen, living room and dining room as well as front and back porches made our stay excellent. It was a bit far from Bushkill Falls which was our main destination but worth the cost.
Adults and kids have ample rides to spend the entire day..
Fun for the kids and adults be prepared to do some walking though
Such an amazing awesome waterpark. Very family orientated. Lifeguards are super friendly. Always changing shifts so that they are fresh on their feet which is great. Staff is so super friendly and always smiling. So happy we are season past holders
It was truly an adventure and straight, definitely will be back next year.
We arrived in the middle of te night, the security helped escort us to where we were able to lodge in.
Been here a few times and can't get enough of it. Great prices an perfect mountain for beginners or family!!
Sure, there may not be any bigger slopes within the distance from NYC, but going a bit further may be worth it. Not only are the crowds here intense on weekend days, they somehow seem unprepared to deal with them at both the rental area and the ticket booths. I waited 40 minutes to redeem online purchased tickets which seems like it defeats the purpose of buying online. All of the staff was friendly, but I think I d prefer them being faster. The slopes are fine, and it s nice that they have lights so you can keep going into the night, but when the sun goes down, the top layer becomes a skating rink of ice, so you may not need to. The rental equipment here is not bad, but for the wait time, you are probably better off at one of the nearby shops. The food is not great, selection-wise or price-wise and it s odd that several of the lodges don t have beer. Lines build up at the lifts as well due to so many amateurs. Hit the blues and blacks to avoid having to play a game of human slalom.
MONEY GRAB. Lift ticket prices have increased and formerly free parking is now THIRTY DOLLARS. All of this extra cost translates to exactly ZERO LIMITING OF CAPACITY OR EXTRA LIFTS BEING RUN. It was like a normal pre-covid Sunday. Ill prepared staff having to shepherd people around after seeing that the lift lines were so long they were blocking the ends of adjacent runs. Lines averaged 15-20 minutes. No signs in the bathrooms limiting capacity or reminding people to wear masks. No outdoor tables to eat lunch at beyond those in a tent (not really outdoors). Conditions on the slopes were pretty good, but it was NOT WORTH THE PRICE, as they did almost nothing to make the experience safer or more efficient.
Endless activities for family and friends are available. Trails, zip lines, and the camelbeach water park are just a few of the things available during the summer. During the winter months skiing and snowboarding is really great here.
Excellent ski and snowboarding park. Come back here every year!
Loved you guys lost my gloves my board and my phone and ya were on point. Had so much fun thank you for having my family til next year thank you soooooo very much. In case ya rememeber onesie man.......
My kids always have so much fun here. I love how there are options for everyone. Tubing, snowboarding, skiing etc. There is also an excellent restaurant while you wait for everyone to be done. We come every winter and have yet to be dissapointed!
There are limited rides they need to add a lot more activities because you can get bored very quickly.
Well kept but very crowded during the holiday season
Lynda helped book our reservation for December and was so pleasant to speak with. She helped answer all our questions and gave us a great rate too; so excited for our trip there! Thanks again Lynda!
It's a great place to take the family!!! They have a bunch of different water slide and water rides to fit everyone's liking.
I give this place 3 stars. Because their pool is really good. Especially relaxing in the outside warm pool after skiing. There is a pool around the bar also. But I have to say their rooms are sucks. Just like motel. The snow of ski area is not good enough. Ice mor than snow. It is good for family with kids. Not me I hate kids. Everywhere had kid s screaming.
Great snow conditions, however the lift lines were incredibly long. Had to pay $10 to park in lot L5 which made for a long uphill walk to the lodge. Wanted $40 to park in the premium lot and $30 in the next level. First time forced to pay to park. Outrageous!
pricy and icy
but big
Great place with lots of activities. Especially during the Halloween season. The haunted house was very short and a bit boring but for young kids it is fun. The outdoor activities are not far from the hotel, maybe a 15 min walk then there is a shuttle to the haunted house. The roller coaster, zip line etc are all located there. Aquatopia was great a little smaller then expected but definitely do the lazy river and storm chaser. The wave pool was nice and they do let you keep on your water shoes on the rides if you wear them. The food was a bit bland, esp the breakfast buffet the pastries were dry but really happy that they had turkey and chicken sausages for those who aren't crazy about beef or pork. The pizza was good but was missing a bit of flavor but they had great cheese fries in aquatopia and funnel cake. We went able to do any of the restaurants so can't comment on that. The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable and the pillows completely deflated when you laid down, but that's with all hotels. The rock wall, treetop adventure, pottery decorating, arcade, mini golf and bowling are all located within the hotel in the same wing within 2 floors so older children can run free and you'll probably find them without too much trouble. Overall great place for children and adults, not to mention tons of weddings happen there as well. I def recommend bringing snacks as the food options can add up during the day and become pricey.
Slopes were groomed well, started to get crowded at night though.
It was quite overcrowded, to the point where it was slightly dangerous.
Made a reservation for Saturday on a Tuesday and the next day ( Wednesday) I had to cancel because my family was exposed to COVID-19. I was then told that I would be charged a $100 fee so I said I would come and they told me it was fine to still come, knowing that I could possibly have COVID-19. I was so disappointed with the customer service and ridiculous policy which it clearly states on the website that they supposedly have " flexible booking " and that if you have to cancel up to 72 hours you can. Very disappointing
Managed to find an unsafe (COVID-wise) and inefficient way of doing nearly everything, on top of a poor value proposition overall. Charged a $10 parking fee but did not actually have spots available, meaning they sold us something they didn t have. Rental lines took a full hour, but the worst part was the returns, where dozens of people were crowded into the shop with no direction and no supervision. Several parties were vaping and several more were just unmasked without so much as a word from staff. Zero enforcement of distancing in lift lines, with stoned and drunk snowboarders free to cough all over me. This was a lot to put up with for what is objectively a mediocre ski experience. Contacted customer service to give them a chance to redeem themselves and they dropped that ball too by not following up as promised.
Had a great time at CamelBeach Water Park. The rides were a big hit with the 8 and 12 year old, and the adults all had fun too. Park is clean, well-staffed, good food and beverage options with above average quality for this type of resort. Great place to visit with a family, beautiful scenery and well run. Will definitely return.
Overall great experience, very clean and close to Mountain nice and polite staff
Many good trails, pleasant workers who make an effort to do a good job! Fun place.
Don t recommend. Service is horrible. The front desk doesn t pick up the phone. Understaffed but still charging full price. I tried to get my vehicle out of valet but all the valet s went home, waited a half hour until the bell service got my key but not the car.
It's absolutely my favorite ski resort in the NJ and PA area. The beginner slopes are very mellow and perfect to learn on and it's usually not too icy, which is usually a problem in all of the other resorts I've been to in this area. This is also a pretty big resort and has a wide range of slopes for people of all skill levels to use.
Horrible experience...they promised 50% capacity...
Definitely 100%
Check in line was 40 people long...took an 40 minutes..
Room was promised @4:00...at 6:30...still waiting
Waited in line for Rollercoaster....was getting on ride...then they tell us we have to sign waiver 2 blocks away then stood in that line...then had to get back in line....for Rollercoaster...
Next morning,,,,psyched for indoor park...tell us the free waterpark opens at 1... the 42.00 outdoor waterpark...opens now...hmmmm...
Place packed...lines everywhere...
Parking horrible.....
Good luck
It's a nice place, but i don't recommend going here when you come on a hot day there is like 5000 people and you can't go on slides and all the pools are packed and just expect to be walking around the whole time
Camelbeach was so much fun and it was my first time and im definitely coming back.
