Camelback Lodge & Indoor Waterpark Review

We stayed here this past night and it's was so much fun everything was well kept and the rooms were beautiful the only thing that passed me off was the flow rider and how long the line was when they should have split it in half the moment they started it up and then we got coupons for free arcade play and the lady that was there when I booked the rooms said I could use it on the laser tag and rock wall so when we got there they told us we couldn't and it made me so so mad that they lied other than that's the 12 of us in 2 rooms was perfect definitely will go back

Aquatopia what the fun time we had. The Lazy River hot tub I couldn't get enough of it can't wait to do it again.

Nice waterpark too hot inside the park , food was okay but overall kids wouls love it

My daughter enjoyed the unfortunate water park.
There was an incident my mother was sitting down, she was asked to move by Jeff and Brea because a little girl accused and said that was her spot which it was not! Brea and Jeff did not ask my mom any questions! I approached Tony the director about the situation which he basically thought was funny and did not handle the situation very well at all. We then spoke with Sherry the manager very kind hearted women, listen to situation! The staffing needs customer service training! My mom was only told to move because of the color of her skin!!!! And that is the truth otherwise why would you make someone move which wasn t anyone else s spot, nothing was on or near the chair!!
I reached out to Rocco Baldassari ( director operations) via phone and email x2 still waiting for a response! My next step is to forward the CEO the same message!

It was such a great time with the most friendly staff ever. Mountain coaster was great and unique, and the kids had a blast snow tubing. This is definitely a winter vacation must !!!

horrible horrible horror show of ghetto rats that work on the 6th floor bad language in the hallway while we were trying to sleep loud music playing the room we checked in wasn't cleaned properly the people on the 6th floor where we stayed were not helpful at all and were very rude and the nice ones didn't speak English. get rid of all those housekeepers on that floor cause everything else was great the beach waterpark gameroom and the rest of the staff of the facility but again I stress how horrible and rude and unhelpful the stuff was on the 6th floor where we stayed btw it is the most expensive floor to have employees that rude and ghetto and unhelpful and super unprofessional

The kids will love it. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The water park was great but avoid the over priced food and drinks plenty of places around to eat at.

Very nice place for the family but, they will take you broke in the arcade. My son was trying to win a toy for my granddaughter. It cost my son 30 dollats to win something and he came away with a toy you would get in a bubble gum machine. We were not happy about that. With the money you're spending they should at least give the kids a momento t-shirt. Stay clear of the arcade or they will take you broke. Everything else is very nice and clean. Look for discount tickets online. You'll save up to 20-25% off on selected dates.

The rooms were amazing, there wwre many activities and places to explore.

Had a great time here, and the indoor waterpark is really impressive and super fun. Also helped that there were never any lines for anything on our stay (over 4th of July weekend..not sure where the crowds were, or if they simply can handle the demand well.) There are obvious mistakes from the staff not knowing rules, and lack of signage to help find things, but this isn't Disney and it's not trying to be. Would definitely come back.

Nothing is labeled. No one helps direct you. Cannot understand anyone. Stood in line an hour to be told that we were standing in the wrong line. For how expensive this place is it s being ran like a third world country.

Great experience! There was tons of entertainment for my toddler. She really enjoy Aquatopia and the Arcade area. The staff always made sure we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. Will definitely visit again.

This place had so much to do. It was super fun for the kids as well as the adults. It was a little pricey for food that was only okay in taste. One great thing that stood out that I like was when I called for extra blankets the front desk called back up after 30min to make sure that I got it. All in all the place was beautiful and fun!!!

Meals over priced and not great when booking they will talk you out of the package so you pay more.

The first night we stayed there, it was great. But the second night, for dinner we went to the Buffet in the lodge, and to start off, the silverware was covered in dried food from the person who used it before me, when I went to go and get something to eat, TWO of the plates had more dried food on them, and to make it even better, for dessert I picked something that looked like a tiny eclair, which it wasn t, but when I flipped it over their was mold growing on the bottom of it. So that was my experience with this buffet.

This is really an amazing, place . There's lots to do if you like water and outdoor activities.

Stayed there twice with my daughter. Loved it both times. Excellent family destination!

My family celebrated my son's 13th birthday here with several of his classmates. We purchased a birthday package that included Aquatopia passes for 12 people - the total price was close to $600 for everything. While that was very expensive, the staff took excellent care of us, we had a private room with pizza, cake, and soda, and a day full of fun on the water slides and arcade. This isn't something we would do often, but it was totally worth it for this occasion.

Everyone who worked there was genuinely very friendly. It was obvious they wanted all of the guests to have a good time and went out of their way to accommodate us. The lifeguards are there for your safety, and they don't seem to be too hung up on arbitrary rules. Mostly they went unnoticed by the kids.

The slides are extremely fun. I'm a roller coaster buff and I consider myself to be fairly stoic on rides like these, but the plunge and the venus fly trap ride were a blast.

Aquatopia is definitely worth the drive and the cost for admission. You'll have a great time!

Great waterpark and good food, but vending machines were a problem. My Dr. Pepper was warm. 8.5/10

Nice rooms , amazing indoor water park and snow tubing

Overall we had a great time. As with any self contained park prices are a bit higher. Rooms were clean and comfortable but walls are pretty thin so you hear everything. Waterpark was clean and staff was help with. Overall a fun trip

Bought the indoor waterpark day pass for my daughter, myself and a friend and we loved it. Everyone, including other guests, were friendly and the rides were exciting and just the right level of terrifying. I will definitely be going again, even without a child it would be a lot of fun for adults. Especially with the poolside bar.

We've had the best 2 days here! Our suite was very nice. Our 4year old grandson liked the indoor park better than the outdoor(I think we all did because he did). All in all a great time.Thank you!

Great family fun. There really is something for kids of all ages to keep them busy until they knock out in the beautiful rooms. It would get 5 stars if there was some regulation on babies wearing the water diapers.

Great Family Indoor water park and Lodge. The location has a free parking lot and is very easy to get to within a 5 minute drive to nearby outlet shopping and other local shopping. The lobby and general appearance is grand. The entire place looked spotless and smelled clean considering the thousand or so guests that were all over the place. When you consider what you get for the price we paid it was well worth the trip. The staff was friendly and inviting. We found the burger spot on the ground floor was a bit pricy for our taste and didn't bother trying the other restaurants at the location (family budget). We stayed in a two bed room suite with a full (full as in plates, silver ware, and full size fridge included) gorgeous modern stainless marble filled kitchen. We just drove on over the local weiss market and stocked up (bring your own condiments and dish soap). The place is obviously new and they are still constructing Phase two which appears to add more rooms on the other side. The place is huge and has plenty to do for all the kids, from the indoor water park with over 12 different water slides, to all the different age appropriate water play areas. They have one and two person tubes for the slides and lazy river. Life guards and Floaty vests were readily available for the not so good swimmers. I even did the ropes course with my nephew and the girls did the miniature golf (both Extra $ and not included). The outdoor/indoor heated pool with the swirl jets was our favorite. We felt safe the entire time and can't wait to return.

I literally despise the customer service literally walked around the hotel like 20 times to purchase tickets for the rides and pools. I drove 2 hours away for this as a quick adventourous road trip and they turned me away saying its at full capacity. So needless to say i wont be returning ever. If you come lots to do for families. There is free parking and valet parking but save your money for the activities to do. Theres my two cents. Mountain roller coaster is $12 and 4000 ft zipline is amazing.

Great place, pretty clean, some of the patrons seem to think that the pass comes with a personal maid and leave messes where ever they go. Other than that I would recommend the place. Good for kids all ages. Rooms very clean and well equipped.

We really enjoyed our stay at Camelback Resort. My teenager girls had a fantastic time at Aquatopia. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. A bit more light would have been nice but the room was very nice otherwise.

Outstanding service, rooms, amenities, and food. Whole family had a blast. Will be back soon!

The room we initially checked into hadn't been cleaned. We were given 10% off our bill as a result and given another room at the far end of the building. The water park was fun and not very busy. Same with the snow tubing.

Love that the indoor water park is for hotel guests only. No long lines, warm waters, clean, great rides for all, and friendly staff. Overall a wonderful place to bring the kids. We will be returning.

Had a great time with the kids here. Nice waterpark, game room, restaurants, etc. One-stop shopping at a reasonable rate!

Affordable and a great place to enjoy a Waterpark in the winter

Good activities, great water park. Organizationally could be a bit better; lots of confusion between different staff members on various things. But we were a large group so things were naturally a bit chaotic.

The lodge at Camelback was busy but the staff was able to service the patrons in a timely manner.

The water park was really fun, but my favorite part was at the World Bazaar cafe where we got a fun and hilarious server named Dane, thanks for the ice cream, your great at your job haha.

Went overnight with a group of 6 adults and wee had a lot of fun! We stayed in 2 double queen with pullout rooms. The desk lady, Maria was incredibly helpful! I was able to check in and get into one room early and she made a note on my friend's reservation to have the room close to ours. We started the weekend by using our included Camelbeach tickets. When we had done everything we wanted to and it started getting chilly due to potential rain we took the shuttle back to the lodge. Then we went into Aquatopia. There is a 21 and over swim up bar where the drinks are tasty. Then we went on slides and the lazy river until 10pm! We were hungry after so we rushed to change and make it to neptune bar (a restaurant in the lodge) before it closed at 11pm. I would say the early closing is the one main negative. I wish they stayed open with food served at one of the restaurants until at least 12pm. This would give the adults some time to unwind after the water parks. In the morning we got up, put it stuff in our car. Check out is at 11am and is automatic, no need to go to the desk unless you have a question. Then we wnt to the breakfast buffet. $17 per person for adults. This is pin the expensive side for breakfast, but it is a resort so it is what we were expecting. The buffet is fairly large with fruit, pancakes, omelette station, cereal, the usual breakfast meats with Turkey versions of each, and many other things! After breakfast we hit Aquatopia again and stayed until around 5 when we called it a day! We had a lot of fun and recommended this place. Each of our rooms was about $550 a night, on the expensive side for us, but includes access to both parks. There is also an arcade, ropes course, and climbing wall right in the building! Great place for kids and active adults alike.

Great water park, nice trails, zipline. Not a lot of places have this kind of combo of skiing and water park (winter and summer) at the same time, definitely decent resort, would recommend it to any one

Stayed overnight, kids loved the water park. Rooms are further from the water park than they are at great wolf lodge, but has a more adult feel. Water park has a wide variety of activities, the lazy river is a highlight.

I'm a season pass holder here and I like what I got. The mountain is one of the better ones in the Poconos for skiing. Also included in my season pass was $40 off waterpark admission, free snow tubing, and summer passes to the waterslide park. A couple complaints are the parking situation when it gets crowded (long, uncomfortable trek to the lodge from the lower lots) and the annoying teenage kids who shoot down the mountain out of control with music in their backpacks (usually snowboarders). I guess driver recklessness is correlated with slope recklessness - all the nutcases from NYC, Jersey, and Philly seem to show up to ski/board here and make it somewhat unsafe. Other that that, this is a great spot that I'll probably be coming to for years to come.

Been here for 2 family vacations and will be back next year.

Really clean, most of the staff member were really nice. The food prices is really expensive for the type and the quality of the food.
