It was worst snow tubing place. First they call them selves as America's largest snow tubing spot and only 8-10 lanes are open out of 52 advertised. I don't see how they can fit 52 on those slops. They say they have sold out the tickets on busy day and suddenly later start giving tickets to anybody that comes. For 2 hr session they charge $30 same as 3 hr session. There is so much crowd that one has to wait 1 hr for one ride down the hill. The crew is exceedingly dumb to keep arguing with folks about rules and regulations. They start reducing the number of tubes as day winds down and people start leaving, so that remaining people have to suffer through the pain of waiting game again. In my view, any other local snow tubing place is much better option than this totally mismanaged confusion.

Absolutely the worst ski resort I have ever been to. On a rare PA powder day they decide to not only have 3 of the slowest lifts open only one of which goes up to the top of the mountain. On top of which they sell tons of tickets so the line is over 20 minutes long for a mountain that only takes 60 seconds to ski down. Oh btw, it s $30 for the cheapest parking for the day. What kind of mountain charges for parking? I ve been to 14 resorts none of which charge parking. This is not a ski resort. It s a scumbag business that only cares about revenue

Had a great time at CamelBeach Water Park. The rides were a big hit with the 8 and 12 year old, and the adults all had fun too. Park is clean, well-staffed, good food and beverage options with above average quality for this type of resort. Great place to visit with a family, beautiful scenery and well run. Will definitely return.

Beautiful location and ski slopes. The accommodations we're comfortable and spacious, if a little dark. The buffet at one of the two restaurants had pretty good food, but it was pricey for the quality.

Camel Beach is an awesome experience! Every year they just keep adding more attractions. This year they have added zip lining and a manual roller coaster where you or you and a child can go down it together and control the speed. The waterpark is definitely the best in the Pocono Mountains and all of Northeast PA. The only drawback for them is that it gets extremely crowded extremely fast. There are a lot of New Yorkers that live in The Poconos over the summer and some all year round that kind of flood the place early so if you are going to go get there before it opens to ensure you get a spot and make sure you keep your spot for the entire day. There is so much to do there with their huge water park, batting cages, a scenic ride on their chair lift, batting cages, zipline, roller coaster, great food and family fun. If you can't go to the beach this summer go to Camel Beach instead!

Just being in the mountain is amazing you get ana amazing view of the trees and have a beautiful sunset and sunrise. The staff I'd nice and friendly. The food is great. Would highly recommend that you stay for the weekend.

the place itself was very new and nice however, it unfortunately caters to children meaning kids are constantly running up and down the halls which gets SUPER annoying. we had to walk out of our room multiple times to try and tell people to get their kids under control! besides that it was a very nice place to stay on vacation.

We visited this past week, so early in the season. And it was warm. Most lifts were running and about half the trails were open. Conditions were ok. But the place took a hit with the amenities. Not long lines, but very slow service. The Lodge badly needs an update. The food in the lodge is horrible. Just terrible. Even the hot cocoa was gross. Bring food. And we walked all thru the main dining area and no fire place?! Crazy. Most employees were friendly and pleasant.

We were there on the final day of the season. It was fun to take a group of high school students.

Buying tickets before hand did save us a bit. Few kids were quite new to the slopes. An instructor would have been quite helpful. Other kids enjoyed a lot through each of the slopes.

They could always have few more choices for food. Few kids just got chicken fingers.

Overall it was a good day spent.

We had the best time at the ski resort! We had a big party of 11 from Houston area for spring break and were excited that it wasn t crowded and Jenn at the camelback restaurant was amazing! Could not have asked for better service from a waitress. Wish those from Texas were as wonderful as her:

Check-in: very very very confusing check in process. You ll see multiple lines when you get there. I have no idea which line is the right line for me given that I ve already purchased lift tickets online. I m pretty sure that s the first impression a lot other people got.

Rental: Again very very very confusing process. There is a lower level and upper level just to get rental. You have to figure out which one is for which. I was lucky I got into the right line, but quite a few people got kicked out because they were in wrong line. I can feel they were very upset. There s no clear indication and not enough employee to guide us.

Rental return: Apparently if you picked up your ski from lower level you have to return it to lower level. But who would knew this if I wasn t told? How would I even know there s upper level if I got my rental from lower level?

Locker key return: Again very very very confusing process. There s separate window on the other side just to handle locker key return. Again how am I suppose to know there s separate window for this if I wasn t told about it? I waisted 30 minutes waiting in wrong line and finally when it was my turn I was told oh you have to go to window 12...

Check-in window customer service: 0 star. No greeting no communication no nothing no smile no info provided. even I said good morning, thank you etc. Is this the service you expect after you finally got your turn and after you spent 95 on lift, 45 on rental, 10 on parking and 25 on locker? I don t think so.

Covid: No hand sanitizer provided anywhere I visited. This includes checkin area, rental pickup area, locker area, cafe area, rest area.

Best vacation we had ! I went here with my family and we had so much fun! The indoor water park was amazing, we enjoyed the Wave Pool, Lost River and everything else there. Definitely coming back !

When it's busy, the line for rentals can last over an hour.
The more traffic a lift has, the worse the off ramp will be since they may not pack on more snow as needed.
Thery have mostly beginner routes. It was a warm winter, so only the routes with snow machines will be open, which is a surprising amount of them.

It s certainly a family-oriented place. Many kids, a lot of newbies, getting packed by noon due to its proximity to the city (1.5hr drive from NYC or Phila) It s quite small, and slopes are really short, few diamonds, ten blue slopes. It s ok if you live close otherwise I d rather drive upstate or to Vermont.

I enjoyed my stay here. It s not cheap but the price brings with it a pleasant atmosphere. I got a standard room for my small family which was plenty of space. Aquatopia was a lot of fun, the Aracade room was good too. The skiing was pretty decent considering it s only 800 vertical drop. Definitely recommend this place for a 2-3 day get away from the city especially during this f***ing pandemic.

Simply an excellent resort. There is a lot of terrain to cover compared to lots of other mountains in the poconos. The staff is great, I particularly enjoyed the guy who tuned up my board as he was super friendly and did an excellent job. They have a progression park which is a sweet hike park that is bigger than you'd think from the trail map. Only complaint would be that there were a few people in yellow jackets which seemed to be mountain safety or something (not ski patrol) and I found one of the scolding a young child for seemingly no reason (he was in control, at a normal pace as there was no one else on the trail in front or behind). Everything except that particular sector of the resort is phenomenal.

More often than not I enjoy Camelback. They've invested a lot in their snowmaking technology (HKD Guns) and it shows on the trails. The only thing keeping this 5 stars for me is the security staff. I always pay for a ticket and I consistently see kids sneaking on the runs (which they would switch to a tap system). I think they can do a better job of policing reckless skiing/boarding as well but overall it's a great staff.

Coming here for many years.
1. Never rented equipment at the slopes before, just this time and have to say it wasn't very pleasant. Limited and inconvenient number of benches to sit down and change, lockers are outside so you have to go back and forth...
Never rent at the slopes again.
2. We used to come afternoon and buy half day tickets which was very convenient. Now it's not an option anymore. We had to buy full price open to close tickets for 3 hours run from 1to 4.
Why it never gets better, only opposite?
Guess it's retorical question

A great place for a family weekend escape. Two huge water parks. While the indoor was a bit smaller, it had unlimited access. And the outdoor was much more elaborated, and even had zip line rides. We had a ball!

Camel beach was a lot of fun. Took my 5 and 6 year olds and they had a blast. Wasn't to crowded so the lines were short. The food was good though, the staff working there seemed totally uninterested in explaining anything. Otherwise we had a great time.

There are no stars to describe the utter disappointment I have in Camelback. Up until Saturday morning, I totally believed and told everyone that this is the best racing program around. The coaches, staff and club are some of the most amazing people I have ever met. And then there's the snowboard racing program which this year had some major success at nationals. Oh yeah, there's the adaptive program as well that is know as one of the best on the east coast and has had athletes medal in the Olympics in Sochi.....Its certainly a shame and disrespectful on how it was handled. Sometimes there's more to a mountain than money! And what happens to the free tickets we were promised for volunteering at the mountain? And how long will this stay up???? Probably not long.....BTW, still waiting for that 'prompt' reply that was promised my management.....hmmmmmm.......not at all good feelings here for the mountain management!

The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The waterpark itself is a little small and the wave pool was not working when we were there. It seemed as if there were too many people and not enough lifeguards. Also, the hottub/jacuzzi area was not monitored at all, which I found to be a little odd.

Came here for the Camelbeach experience. Great place to relax, take the kids off your back and enjoy yourself, too. It's pretty expensive and I bet it can get very crowded, but we arrived on Sunday at 4 and stayed until 7pm when they close. The place was basically empty... Plenty of room to play and splash around. The only thing that sucked was that the staff really wanted to go home and closed all the showers at 6:30pm, so the only way to cleanup was outside.

Nice place and friendly employees but the wait times for everything and the food prices are ridiculous. Staying for 3 days with 4 kids. Good is like something you would get in a movie theater or arcade. 4 burgers, 1 chicken tenders, 3 soups, 5 sodas... $140 not including tip. Get serious now. Got in the line for ski and lift tickets at 9:00, didn t physically get off the ski lift to ski until 12:45. All you do hear is constantly wait in lines and spend absurd amounts of money on slop.

Great place to learn to ski in the Poconos.

Great place to learn to ski in the Poconos.

Lines can be a little daunting during peak season, but we always set expectations and enjoy ourselves.

Facilities are pretty solid for the Poconos, but you should pay close attention to the base and snow coverage because it can get icy.

My friend and I went yesterday, and while the ski resort/trails were alright, I was not happy with their COVID procedures on social distancing, especially in the rental building. There are signs on the ground that customers should remain 6 ft away from each other, but their staff isn t enforcing this with people crowding the line indoors and outdoors, standing in line as if these were normal times. There were at least 3-4 staff members at the front of the building where the line begins to get your equipment rental ticket, and none of them thought to control the line. In the back for the ski/snowboard rentals, where there were even more staff, it was just as crowded. My honest opinion is that this ski resort should be shut down until they can firmly address this issue. I understand customers getting annoyed or frustrated with long lines and waiting outside since it s cold, but this is a public safety concern, and while Camelback Mountain Resort claims to value each customer s safety through their broadcast throughout the day, their actions don t reflect their words. My recommendation to potential customers is there are other ski resorts within a 30 minute drive nearby that are much better at enforcing COVID policies. While the resort has a lot to offer, customers should take into consideration the risk they are taking in visiting.

Friendly Staff, Good concierge, Lots of hidden fees, no free breakfast. We stayed at the resort for 3 days with a party of 4. I was pleased with the kindness of the concierge, and staff. There is plenty of meal & food options at the resort but they are pretty costly, and the price doesnt match the quality. When it came to skiing, we ended up having to pay separately for the helmets and a locker totaling $40 for just one day. The beds in the rooms weren't super comfortable, and there were no wash cloths provided. Despite the few inconveniences, we enjoyed the trip, and would come again.
