Came out for a day trip and managed to ski from open to close on Christmas. Had a good time, enjoyed all the runs, wish I could have stayed longer. Upset that so many of the runs were closed and not snow covered that day.

Wonderful place for adults & children. Was afraid to go zip lining but Morris (worker) told me how smooth the zip line was & I tried it. He was right. I'm glad I did the 4000 ft ride. Every worker was so polite & asked how we enjoyed the different rides. Can't wait to go back with my daughter & granddaughter.

Strangely fun terrain, some decent verticals on par with the best of the Mid-Atlantic, very friendly bar has a west coast vibe. Far too hard packed (icy) at night and the novice boarders make sure it stays that way. Needs grooming in turns at night for safety. Damn near ice skating and some poor lighting makes it kind of sketchy for beginners. Pretty basic for everyone else though ICE always ratchets up the challenges. Equal with Blue Mt in scope when fully open, Not the level of scenery or condition of snow of Elk but a bigger day. If you can go to Catskills, Adirondaks, Berkshires or Vermont..do so they are much better at everything. If not..this will do fine for everyone in small doses. Lots of New Jersey here, the good and the bad.

Pretty nice mountain to ski on. Went on presidents day weekend. awesome deal if you ski after 3pm with half price lift tickets. ski rentals are reasonable at 28 a person.

Beware if you dont have 4 wheel drive, I would not drive with bad road conditions, they do drop some sand, but the road leading up to the parking lot was rough.

Prices have gone up! The coaster is supposed to be disinfected, what a joke!!! The employee did a short squirt with something, not even hitting every part that was touched, and no wipe down! I watched the employee repeatedly do this.... great way to let the germs go free!

Took my son mid week. pre bought tickets. junior tickets were only 5$ less than adults. Parking lots were empty but still had to pay 40 dollars to park, which I ve never ever seen at any other ski resort. Locker s were 15$-30$. Additionally there were a lot cans/garbage on the mountain. Things to consider before going.

Cant complain.

Cant complain.
Bring your own coffee the coffee there is 3$ per cup around and it was awful. Any coffee snobs please fyi. Bring your own mini brewer and cream/water. I cant start my day without a acceptable morning cup.
Water may have been bad from tap. Smothered out the flavors of the brew.

Winter time its a total destination.
Trust me its money well spent for a day trip or two lol.

Will be a staple in my seasonal vacations

My son who has Down Syndrome has been wanting to ski for the longest time seeing that all his siblings ski or snowboard. With skepticism I signed him up for lessons at Camelback. It has been an awesome experience for him. He has the best teachers Ty and Treavor. They are so patient and understanding making provisions for my sons needs as they see fit. Big shoutout to Ty and Treavor.

Overall disappointed Skiing experience. I have never been to a ski resort where you have to pay for all day parking and the lift lines were outrageous. Only silver lining was that they had nice outdoor seating at their restaurants. My main complaints were their COVID protocols WHICH WERE NONEXISTENT.
I have been to a couple of ski resorts in the area this year. Every resort had enhanced sanitizing stations throughout the resort, easily accessible maps, even one way markers inside the lodge for rentals etc. and of course a mask policy that was enforced to make everyone feel safe.
Camelback resort had not a SINGLE bottle of hand sanitizer in the lodges or common areas, no digital maps, no one way markers and let me tell you about how they weren't enforcing masks..
I'd say half the people in the EXTREMELY long lift lines had masks on. Most other had a piece of cloth that could cover their face if a ski patrol member were to walk by but would disappear once they walked past. The employees loading the lifts and managing crowds DIDN'T SAY A WORD TO ANYONE about masks. I had expected to see more passes pulled for this but it didn't seem like anyone cared. I was so enraged I started calling people out in the lodge for not wearing them. It's a procedure to keep everyone safe yet it seemed like everyone treated it as a vacation where they didn't have to worry. And there was no staff enforcing. Don't waste your money or your safety..

I've never stayed over night at Camelback but I'm only 40minutes away so it's really the best place for me for day trips. The slopes are always well groomed. It's best to go during weekdays because weekends are extremely crowded and sometimes unbearable.

Loved our visit on 1/24 Their restaurant was good for my first visit. The venison burger was delish and the beer flowed wonderfully. Usually go to Ski Roundtop, but this was a nice for a change. Much longer trails than Roundtop, but it is taller, too, @ 2100 vs. 1300 ft high. Dropped my helmet and goggles while on the lift, but was fortunate the lift operator walked up quite a steep grade to get them for me.

I love this mountain! Trails are usually in very good condition and most open always. When you go on a weekday even during a holiday week, you get the best experience. No wait for lifts, and not crowded with inexperience skiers!

Positively the worst experience. From parents not supervising their kids whom throw large rocks to security telling us that we signed a waiver so they don't care... 1st of 5 days a ready to leave.

We went with our niece and nephew for the mountain coaster and snow tubing and had a blast. Coaster was a good length and surprisingly thrilling. If you like sledding, you'll like tubing, though these are straight down runs with no turns. Staff was organized and kept the lines flowing.

An average mountain. Below average ticket and rental experience (90+ minute wait). Fair pricing but nothing to sing about. Better to rent off mountain for cheaper prices and a much better service.

Camelback proved to be a great time even in the summer with the outdoor and indoor water parks, and ziplining. Would definitely return, though they could use a bit more training for staff because we were constantly told wrong information all the time.

I ve been here a few times prior to Covid. And then recently I went beginning of Jan 2021 during the weekdays and once again in early March. Parking fee is new and that was a surprise. They literally hunt you down the moment you arrive. The Covid precautions & face mask enforcement in areas is really nonexistent. (At the lines waiting for equipment rentals INDOORS, people didn t have masks on, noses poking out, security and staff says NOTHING). Except maybe if they decide to single you out in my case. I was in line for the Sullivan Express outdoors and didn t have mine on (because the strings broke) when there were literally 10 other people behind me who didn t have theirs on but the same woman said nothing. The only difference? I m a POC and everyone else there were white, and so was the staff woman. She was nice about it saying thank you for understanding and even had an extra mask but literally the rest of the day, I ve heard no one else get called out even if they didn t have any face covering. So there was that.
More slopes and lifts were closed. When I went a few weeks ago, the snow was really icy. So be careful. If anyone has a better place in Poconos PLEASE LET ME KNOW !! I m going to be nice and at least give 3 stars. But this place is not it after Covid.

We were skeptical to book a room here because of Covid-19 but we enjoyed our time A LOT! They could ve done a better job to ensure everyone is wearing their face masks in public areas, but at the same time you must remember you are also at a waterpark where face masks are not worn. If you are scared of Covid I suggest you not go to any hotels (not entirely the resorts fault). They have caution signs and distance stickers EVERYWHERE. The staff are very nice and rooms were clean!

My boyfriend and I enjoyed the outdoor waterpark more than the indoor because it was bigger and obviously outside. We had a great weekend at Camelback and are actually going back this weekend with friends!
