RUN AWAY! I bought my used truck from these guys 4 months ago. They told me it had an ecoboost engine, they lied. I paid for new tires, (apparently the price online does not include service provided by them) because I thought it was still a good price for an ecoboost! My brakes started making grinding noises. The engine light came on. Turns out it's oxygen sensor. Just yesterday I found out my AC doesn't work (I finally turned it on due to cool weather). They said they won't fix anything and that I didn't buy extended warranty. Pay attention to reviews by other sites, like consumer affairs.

We had car trouble while traveling. Called Camelback Ford in Phoenix. Not only did they make an appointment the same afternoon we called them, they worked on our car right away and gave us a loaner car for three days while repair was being done. Our vacation was barely interrupted. The staff could not have been more helpful, timely, and professional. Most importantly, our car was fixed.
Julien Mendez in the service department was excellent with his job. He even went out of the way helping my wife dropping her to work.

The service department needs help. I am first in line at 645am and have appointment and told them that I need to be back to work by 7. They walk right by my to help people behind me in line. I told several people that I need a ride back to work but each said they would be right with me.
I had an appointment with Jason at 7am. I scheduled it over the phone but, after I got the confirmation it said 720. This is my 3 time here and each time they were not friendly.
It was 710 before they even called for a Lyft. They have no consideration of my time. I work about 2 miles from this location.
Find a better service department.

They put in the wrong address for my Lyft. She said that she can not take me to the right location. I had to go back in and tell them that they messed up. Back to work finally 745
2nd update
When I came to pick up my truck at around 5 nothing was done with my truck. I took it in for a recall and an issue with the AC. They did not change out the parts for the recall and I would have to bring it back another day and get a rental. They did not have a rental to give so, they would call me when they have one available.
2 days later
I got a nice voice mail(from Jason) that they had a rental lined up for me but, because I gave a bad review they were not willing to give me a rental and should take my business elsewhere.
They will not stop calling even after each time politely asking them to remove my number from there call list. I bought a truck in 2012 from them. I've been called over 6 times in the past two months trying to sell me a new car. How many times do I need to ask them to stop calling

I called because of an issue with my electronic throttle engine, and was ended up talking to someone about a new vehicle. Rudy, had me talk to this guy that claimed he could get me in a new car. I was not looking for that just wanted my car fixed. they couldn't get me approved and now they don't want to fix my car that is ford's fault. they want to charge me a fee just to look at the problem that's their fault. $115 they want me to give them but if I was getting that new car it was different. Not good customer service there.

The fact that the vehicle was 4 hours away was no problem even though we were leaving out of town very shortly. The entire purchase was mostly over phone with trust having to be given by both dealer and customer. My impromptu arrival at Camelback FORD Service (out-of-state, with 'roadside problem"... therefore was towed-in via FORD Roadside assist); 'service agent' was promptly engaged & investigative per vehicle issue, and within 15mins... fully checked-in and rental car was arranged. . .
Roughly 5hrs later; an emailed update & overall analysis reached me; Camelback FORD's agenda was completed 'as determined' & 100% OK.

On my way to work my drivers side visor fell out of its brace and obstructed my view while driving. I stopped by the service dept at noon and asked if they could fix it. Hawk asked for my keys and said to wait in the customer lounge to see what he could do. Ten minutes later he returned, gave me back my keys and said, "All set to go." No charge. I was amazed. It would have been impossible to drive as it was. many thanks and "kudos" to the service team at Camelback Ford!
Treated with respect for me and my privacy. Saw several signs they are taking the appropriate actions for the safety of their customers and staff during the COVID19 restrictions. There was ample hand sanitizer available, and I was asked if would prefer to have them wear a mask, and masks were available for my use, if I chose. This was a quick no hassle experience. Dealership was clean and all employees were helpful, courteous, and smiling. Over all excellent experience.
Bought a 2020 Ford Explorer took only 45 minutes after doing everything over the phone and online and over the phone working with Mykoal he is the most honest salesperson out there and made things very simple for me.
Purchased a car from them and then traded it in for a newer model a year later. Service was ok, not the worst and they worked well with me. I have since sold the car, no interest in purchasing a new vehicle nor do I live in the state any longer but yet they call me, telemarketers call me less. It ranges from 3-7 calls a week to talk to me about my car I no longer own and to get me into a newer car even though I don't live there anymore. I don't bother answering the phone from any number in AZ anymore due to these guys. No matter how many times I tell them to stop calling me, THAT I LIVE IN HAWAII and to get me off their friggin calling list (which they respond they will) THEY DO NOT!
So, if it were me again, I wouldn't of bought from them if I knew I was going to be hounded like this in the future.
UPDATE *** since posting and receiving the post down below I have been called 4 times. I can no longer afford to ignore phone calls from AZ so I am now hanging up once I hear Camelback Ford.
I bought a new 2018 Ford EcoSport on Sunday and worked with Rudi Mwonyonyi, who I highly recommend. I picked out several car choices online first, submitted online paperwork indicating my interest in test driving the vehicles, and was set up for an appointment with Rudi shortly after. When I arrived, one of the vehicles was already set up in front for my test drive. Rudi didn't try to sell me on any other vehicles and listened to what I was looking for. I never felt he was putting pressure on me, and he seemed genuinely interested in helping me find a vehicle I would be happy with. The dealership (Tony) gave me a nice trade in for my older car, there three posted online discounts with an additional 'bonus' for submitting my interest form online (in my case, it was a little more money for my trade-in). I came in knowing the car features I wanted as well as financing terms and had my IPAD handy so I could refer to particulars posted about the vehicles online. There was some time spent working on the negotiations after I test drove three vehicles, but I expected this and believe we eventually came to a fair agreement. This is the second time I picked out my car online in advance of coming to a dealer, and I'm convinced this is the way to go. It gives both parties concrete expectations. Financing (Joe) spent a lot of time with me during the signing portion, ensuring I understood all of the documents and options for additional service offers (I decided to add GAP insurance and a lengthier warranty). It's been a while since I purchased a car, and I knew there would be some time between driving in my old vehicle and leaving with a new one, but I'd set aside enough time to do it right. All of the staff were polite and took the time to explain everything - including Rudi, who took me through the features of my new car when everything was finished. I would recommend this dealership (and Rudi in particular) to my friends.
My husband and I had a terrible experience here. They did the good ol bait and switch on us. We found a good deal online, set up an appointment to meet and buy from a salesman. When we showed up for our appointment our salesman was nowhere to be found, had someone else help us only to tell us that the truck we showed up to buy was sold out from underneath us the night before. We asked them to help locate the same vehicle at one of their sister stores. They said they were busy, had other customers to help and they d call us at a later time. We never got a call back. We couldn t believe they had no interest in selling us a vehicle.
Salesman was OK which is the only reason I gave it 2 stars. I proposed a deal for a new truck but then had to go before signing paperwork. I was told the deal I wanted would not be a problem so I made an appointment to come back a week later on my only day off. Long story short I show up and they want $6k more than we previously agreed. They wasted my time without apologizing and tried to make me feel like it was my fault. Will never go here again for any reason.
Do not trust this place. They will sell you a vehicle with recalls on the transmission without telling you so and then refuse to fix the problem. Do not trust them at their word. Do your research.

Do not and I mean do not buy from these people! They are rampant at pushing you into doing what works for them. Afterward when you get your papers you find out they upped the advertised price by $6,000. When you ask questions you get the run around. Except they of course had the nerve to say we still got a great deal. I have never had such a terrible experience in all my years as a consumer. Please heed my warning! And go to any other Ford Dealer.

Another positive experience at Camelback Ford...we brought our Transit van in for its first service after buying it here 3 months ago. Our salesman, JC Smith was again outstanding. He made the appointment for us, and came out to meet us at the service area to make sure we were taken care of. All of the service personnel were great and prompt. Highly recommended!
I would recommend Camelback Ford to every one, This dealership has an excellent selection of both new and used vehicles. What impressed me was the salesman. He was very erudite about all the vehicles they stocked, which made me feel serene about purchasing from this dealership.
The Salesman was very friendly, and worked with me to be able to find the perfect car to fit me and my life as well as ensuring it would be well suited for my funds.
The management staff worked hard to make sure everything went smooth and make the process quick and as simple as possible, with that I'm glad to say that they completed the process very efficiently.
Like any dealership the worst part to dread was the finance department, but to my surprise unlike any other dealership, I found the finance department to be quite different. The gentlemen were extremely proficient as well, they walked me through all the details, every step of the way to ensure everything worked for me. while being swift enough that I felt like I was out of there in no time.
I plan on purchasing all my vehicles from Camelback Ford for now on.

I was pleased with Charles getting me right in on same day! Work was performed to my expectations and I will be returning in the future! I have two Lincolns, a 2007 Navigator as well as a 2015 MKX, I will continue to use Camelback Ford for all my service needs when I am in the Phoenix area.

Spitting... one of the sales guy was spitting on the floor so I headed to the girl. She said we need to go to Lincoln for the used cars (?!) Instead of having a look at cars, she asked me to seat in the office and the first question was "what's your phone number?". I said "Can we have a look at the cars first?". She left saying "I need to check with my manager". I waited a minute or two, then slowly showed I'm going to leave and then, as she was not coming back, I left. Very weird experience... I guess they are a bit lazy there and have lost common sense. I went to another dealer not far who showed me that all car dealers are not like that so I'm certain those Ford guys are wrong.
First time being here and will never come back much less recommend. My brother was getting a car here which he apparently was approved for. Days went buy and he gets called everything is good, car is yours , then days later turns out they now want car back or need a co-signer Me . Salif the sales rep working on the deal goes as far as to promised to get me the co-signer 1000 dollars if I agree to co-sign for my brother. We went to sign the deal which I did not feel welcome at all. I was not offered water as dealerships usually do and receptionist makes a comment to my brother your here again as if we want to continue having to drive down there do to their lack of getting things done right the first time. When we asked Severe the finance guy about the money he said I will get the promised money , mailed to me when deal is finalized. When we asked the sales rep Salif about the money that was promised, now apparently I will NOT be receiving it because it went towards the deal which he failed to mention before closing the deal. This just shows you this dealership is SHADY and CAN T keep their WORD! How can anyone trust them with anything after that. Will never return here as a customer. Part of making a purchase of your next dream car is having a good experience and leaving knowing you got the best deal possible. Two thumbs down!

Worst place ever I pointed out the rear air was not working day we purchased it, (5-19-12) they kept the cars for two days to put tires on it and go thru it. Two days later I took it back rear air did not work and half of the instrument panel does not work. Demetric Guy went in spoke to his boss they said they will fix it since it is a safety issue. Been try to get it scheduled and been getting the run around today 6-8-12 I am told it is not a safety issue by the used car director it is not a safety issue that not all cars are equip with a back up sensor so it is not necessary for it to be working
The salesperson and I agreed on a price. I scheduled an appointment to purchase the car and he raised the price the next day right before our appointment. Cheats and scam artists sell cars here.
UPDATE: Josh Miller was still great but turns out financing was a dishonest game. Nearly 2 weeks after having vehicle and the "final" paperwork signed. We started getting tons of credit alerts for new inquiries for auto financing. Once we called them to find out why they were still sending inquiries then they stated we had to come back in to sign more paperwork after pressing them what is was for they said the original financing with FORD for 0% was a "pre approval" now it was 2% at another bank. Nobody takes a new vehicle on a pre approval. They were dishonest from the beginning and should have taken the difference off the price to keep the payments the same and work on having an honest approach in the future. There was nothing that changed on credit or miss information provided to begin with. This was a dishonest approach intentionally.

Make sure you check over your stuff before walking in. I was screwed over the first time a year ago with Camelback Ford and they offered to buy the car back. After sitting in the dealership for 4 hours they claimed they "can't buy a car out right" and praised the only way to help myself was to trade it in and get another vehicle with lower interest. Again they lied and said my current interest was 13%... it was really 9.4% and offered me a car with 5.9%. In my current situation, going through a divorce, I just wanted to get rid of the car so there was no more debt between the two of us. They claimed they are under all new management and completely new staff. Seems to me they are the same. I will never return to Camelback Ford / Lincoln / Mercury. Except for an apology.

I took my 2016 Escape in for an oil change. The staff was kind but the wait time could have been better. I was booked for 8am services and left at 11:45. An oil change, flued check, tire rotation,nitrogen fill up, and car wash shouldn't take nearly 4hrs. I bring my car here for the quality of work done but Ford needs to work on the time it takes to do the job Especially when your paying more at ford than their competitors. Time is valuable. I give Ford 3 stars for quality provided; price for service needs to improve and time it takes to do the job needs to be improved greatly. Keep in mind this was my second oil change on my new car.

I was at the dealership yesterday to assist my daughter in purchasing a used car. They have virtually no COVID-19 prevention protocols in place. Out of the approximately 20 employees roaming around and at their desks, we saw only one with a mask on. Even the two receptionists weren't wearing masks. After a group of customers vacated a conference table in the reception area, no one went to sanitize it before our representative asked us to take a seat at the same table - we declined. There was no hand sanitizer. While there were numerous signs around boasting about how they treat their customers like family ... blah blah blah, there was only one small sign asking customers to maintain 6' distance. As compared to other businesses, this dealership obviously does not care about the health of its employees or customers. I would not go back.

This dealership talks big over the phone bit really gives it too you in person. I have bought 2 cars here and thought this was the best dealership. When I get there we agree on something shake hands and was told they would give me a phone call the next morning. Never got the phone call so I called there myself. The guy was talking about something we didn't even discuss the day before and shook hands on. I don't like bieng treated some kind of way. Especially a dealership you have purchased two cars from. Fealt very betrayed.

Purchasing a car is never fun, but had a great experience with Camelback Ford
Literally the worst experience I have ever had. A couple years ago I was working with a salesman to purchase a car. They needed references and my brother had just moved so I didn't know his new address and he was taking forever to get back to me so my salesman said to use his girlfriend as a reference. I thought it was bizarre but agreed. I bought the car and then received a phone call stating financing didn't go through. I return the car and then get a notice in the male from Capital One saying they approved my car loan but did not feel I was getting a good deal so they did not approve the amount. I go to Chapman Ford and purchased a car and was able to get financing through Ford Credit. Then months later ALL of my references including myself start getting phone calls about a past due loan for someone none of us knew. Leading me to believe the salesman provided my references to another client that defaulted. It took a year for my family and I to have the calls stopped.
Now on Tuesday I was downtown and then had an appointment in central Phoenix so I went in for an oil change and three people just stared at me and kept talking about some girl. I ask one of them whom I speak to about getting an oil change and he points me to the other two gentleman. One of them says he is my customer (which happens) but then only after I asked who to speak with do they start talking about a car. The first person I asked directed me to a female who sighed and ugh'ed so loudly at having to help me that I said I will go somewhere else and left.
Spent a good hour or so trying to reach ANYONE in the parts department...the operator was very pleasant, but of course she can't force these guys to pick up their phones. Not even the Lincoln parts department picked up, must be some sort of sale going on today.
This caused my customer to cancel on me, in hopes of finding an auto glass company who works with "more competent dealers." It's a shame.

Loved the customer service. Great place! Everyone was super friendly, helpful and genuine. My only concern was the brand new vehicle I had just gotten into, the transmission was starting to slip with only 150 miles on the odometer. In which when I contacted them about the problem, they did get me in right away and took care of everything. Although the minor problem, they were very professional. I would highly recommend to friends and relatives.

Car shopping is usually my least favorite thing. Had an amazing experience with Ryan Vinesky. He made the process easy, not stressful, and I did not fill SOLD at all. I would recommend coming to see Ryan 100% if you want to deal with a car salesman who is honest and only cares about the customers best interests.
They did a poor job twice for me which is one thing. I come to expect that by now from this dealership. But their call center keeps calling me to see how my service was and every time I tell them my concern and they say they will have someone contact me, yet no one ever does. I wasn't going to leave a review except for the fact that their operators keep calling ME and telling me they have no record of the previous call, and when I tell them about it, they say someone will address my concern and never do.
We recently came into Camelback Ford because we heard an ad on the radio. We called and spoke with Jeremiah who was great. When we arrived we were greeted warmly and Jeremiah listened to our situation and what we were trying to accomplish. He was able to explain all of our options to us, along with everything we needed to know. Thanks to his advice and the time he spent with us, we were able to make our decision with confidence.
