Exactly a year ago I leased a 2011 Ford Focus from Camelback Ford, 1330 E. Camelback Road, Phoenix, AZ 85014. Within a few months of leasing this car the weather stripping pulled away from the driver s side doorway. I brought the car in for service and was told that the weather stripping was not covered. They wanted $185.00 to put new weather stripping in. This weekend I noticed uneven wear on my tires and my mechanic told me that all four struts on my Ford Focus were shot and three tires were bad because of it. Today, I brought the car in to Camelback Ford for service. This was exactly one year after my lease and the car had a little over twenty-two thousand miles on it. Outside, I was met by a Service Tech named Christy and the Manager named Chad. What they did was double team me and basically informed me that the car would not be covered under Warranty. This was standing right there when I dropped it off and without having a Mechanic even look at it. When I protested Chad informed me that *this* is how it was going to go and did I want to drop the car off or not? Instead of feeling like a valued customer, I felt like I was treated like a chump. I am not a chump. I left there upset and feeling like they were trying ANYTHING to wiggle out fixing my car. Do not go to this dealership.
My car needed a recall fixed so I called twice in order to pick a day to fix it. First time, phone rang and rang with no one answering at 2pm on a Tuesday. Then when I finally got someone, he took down my information but never actually told me when my appointment was, so I had to call back the next day to double check. They asked if I could bring it by at 7am on a Saturday. Ugh. So I did. I spent 5-7 minutes waiting for someone at the service area to approach me, then 15 minutes waiting for (I guess) my appointed service guy. I was talked into paying $70 for an oil change by my mom (who was my ride home) which is insane, but having just moved to Phoenix, I haven't found a mechanic yet. He was nice, and said it should be done by 11am, 12 at the latest. At 3:15pm I finally called to check the status and he said that the car was done but I needed to pick it up by 4 when the close. Why wasn't I called?! So I rushed over and picked it up. They gave me quotes for all the work that needs done to it, (which I've already found a place that does it for 50% less) and I went on my way. Found out they didn't even take it back until nearly 11am...I understand service works in waves, but 7am is brutal when you're exhausted already. And it's common courtesy to call and update the owner on things, even if they're not done yet. When I dropped off my car, service guy noticed I had a cracked headlight, but explained I haven't replaced it because my headlight still works. Just the casing is cracked from an altercation with a metal mailbox. And My light was working when I dropped it off. However, that night I noticed my headlight doesn't work now... Coincidence? Maybe. And they forgot to put my antenna on until I had to call them on Monday to complain about my radio not working properly. The guy had to check and tell me to look under my seat for the antenna and to out it back on myself. I would've done it if they had told me at pick up, instead of freaking out. I guess if you need a service area they are local and decent. Just didn't exactly have the best experience to make me want to go back.

I took my 2014 Ford Fiesta to get serviced here by far will never come back here again. I had at least 3 different sales people call me about upgrading my car if I said no the first 2 times why would I say yes the 3rd time. I get that sales aren t being made but when I told the first person Perla that I ALREADY purchased one and saying no why have 2 more other people try. I will never return here. If I wanted to purchase a car I would inform y all but cmon man...
Buy your next car at Camelback Ford. We just bought our second Explorer from this dealership. Ryan Vinesky (Sales) was great, it took two hours from start to finish, we traded in our 2016 Explorer and Ryan sold us on the new Ford Explorer Sport and there is nothing it can t do! They have made tremendous engineering improvements and have thought of everything from the owner s perspective, feel like they really listened to the consumer..I m in love with my Sport! Plus I have third row seating without having to commit to a huge suburban.
There has mixed experiences with this auto dealership period I would suggest doing your homework before you go in here. Mind you there are are some staff are helpful and knowledgeable but there are others who are just there to close a deal. Unfortunately this place has resorted to hiring too many of those who don't care enough and it's sad because it's the opposite of what customer service is all about
This was the worst dealership experience I've ever had. They scam people for a living. I realize people expect the dealership to be a bit pushy and "salesy" but this was a new level of unprofessional-ism and harassment. I went in and test drove a car and then discussed financing. They spewed a ton of BS and wouldn't come down on price, fine. I left and said I'd come back in if they could work with my budget. The next day I receive a text saying they will do the exact monetary amount I requested. I responded asking for the terms of the loan, such as APR and length of term, and was told it wasn't "printed" out. What kind of excuse is that? So print it, or better yet don't print it and just email it to me! I then stated that I would not come back in until I knew the payment terms I was being offered. Why would I drive all the way back down without knowing? They never replied after that. During pandemic times especially, you'd think they'd be willing to send me terms online so I don't have to come in for so long. Instead, I got called endlessly for the rest of the day while I was at work and unable to answer, and into the night past 7pm. Why even start the conversation via text if you're just going to call me instead? Then l received an incredibly passive aggressive email from an entirely new salesperson without even so much as an introduction or reason why a different person was contacting me! It said, "What's your game plan now... Are you just going to look at Toyota's with higher miles or older ones?" As if their deal was the best in town, despite already showing me there were 4 others in the area at a lower price. I am in shock and highly recommend avoiding this dealership at all costs. I caught them in several lies on top of all this, and they conveniently kept the back of the car open so as to hide the gigantic patch of scratches from me. Genius! I am editing this to add that I was contacted by the general manager, Herb Jernukian, and I explained this entire experience and he never even responded thereafter. So the comment offering help is laughable.
The manager Shawn is completely unqualified to be managing anyone can t even control himself. He had threaten to kick me out of the dealership just because I said I don t know if what he s telling me about the car is true. Started getting all angry for no reason. His staff was more calm and qualified then he was. Don t waste your time here.
Josh Brooks was able to assist me quickly and resolved all my issues in record time. He answered all my questions, gave me a loaner vehicle so I could make all my appointments, and got the vehicle repaired quickly! I give him 5 stars out of 5! Great service with a smile.
I bought a Truecar two months ago. There were to be no surprises, no extra charges! Not the case! They charged $1100 for dealer added options that were not on my car! It took two very ugly weeks to get the money refunded! Now I can't get them to send the missing certified pre-owned vehicle packet for my 12 months 12,000 miles warranty for my certified pre-owned vehicle. I have made so many phone calls. This is an exhausting process! I wouldn't send any one to them. The used car manager was mean and rude, the salesman is distracted and unreliable, and the others make promises they don't keep. They have been reported to Ford Corporate, Truecar, and the Attorney General's Office. I think now I we talk to 3 on your side to see if negative media coverage will get the job done! I am surprised that no one seems to care about my issue!!!!!

Josh the sales guy was friendly and courteous, walked me through the process. One star review is caused by the lack of communication. Asked for a different mailing address for my plates and registration. Everything was set up to go to the physical address. Had a whole conversation about Gap being added. When I asked to confirm, finance told me that they didn't know and would have to pay an additional $500 down to get it. My brother referred me to the dealership and was initially told he would receive a $500 incentive for taking me in. They asked for his information to send the check. The referral amount was then changed to $250 after paperwork was signed. 2 months later, and he has not received anything. There is no information when I reach out to the dealership or the sales guy. Will not return to the dealership next year.
Cj is the man to see when you need a ride he did everything to get me the car i wanted not only did i get one, he got my mother into a new suv. So that day we walked out of there with two 2017 0 miles Ford's thanks for everthing guys

So I came in after a long day of work already frustrated I wasted so much time at a dealer the night before. My salesman was Peter and honestly he gave the BEST customer service to me before and after I signed for my new car (which I wasn't planning on buying, but the deal was so great!) I had some issues with switching licenses (Im from out of state) Peter went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied and well taken care of through out everything . He should get promoted in my opinion , because when you have someone like that running a dealership, there is no question that it will be a business with not only great sales but most importantly RETURN CUSTOMERS. A lot of salesman forget about you after you sign the deal, Peter is not one of those.
Camelback Ford service is great. In and out and give you all the information for future service times. My service person Josh is wonderful and I have nothing but good things to say about them.
If you are a woman watch out this unscrupulous group of animals as they try to sell you $800 worth of fluids at your 30,000 mile checkup on your new 2017 mustang Yes, in this day and age of google, please Check prices at another dealership (thank you Sanderson Ford in Glendale)ASAP or enter VIN into fords website for clarity. These shady shysters admittedly make outrageous servrecommendations outside of the ford motor required maintenance to line their pockets. The service managers ego is larger than life and he said this is what we recommend vs what Ford does or what other dealerships would recommend and or charge for. Look out for Julien J Mendez and his less than pleasant service manager Chris Crawford. We just bought our second vehicle in 3 months from Camelback Ford, Larry Kelso...i have never been to a dealership where they are so focused on customer service..at least 4 people stopped to ask me if I was being taken care of....Larry is the best, he treated my dad (72) with respect and consideration. Never got annoyed or frustrated. every one was so happy and friendly. Justin the finance guy was easy to work with and didn't do anything we didn't feel comfortable with - no high pressure sales. i just can't say enough about Larry and the team...go there now!

My lengthy, and extremely negative, experience with this company far surpasses the space I'm sure is available for feedback. The spotty follow up from management is laughable at best, and as a result, I have contacted the BBB to lodge a formal complaint and am also in communication with 3 on your side for their assistance in protecting the rights of the consumer. I was not in the market for a new vehicle for a few months so when I received a voicemail from Camelback Lincoln telling me they had something exciting going on, I couldn't resist calling back. I explained to the sales person that I was not yet ready for 4 more months and without being pushy or unprofessional, he encouraged me to come take a look at the 'new' vehicles on the lot, the great prices and available deals. While I loved my current MKX I was planning to look at another manufacturer for a change, but nonetheless made an appointment to go out on Sunday around 2 pm. I arrived at the lot and it didn't take long for me to decide that I wanted to stick with a Lincoln product - more specifically, the MKX. I never felt pressured like I have felt in the past with other dealerships. I was adamant about what I wanted, what I needed and what I would pay. The process was simple and I was home in time for dinner! What a great experience! Professional, friendly and definitely not pushy! I got exactly what I wanted and at the price I needed. I loved the sales staff, the finance person and had an overall positive experience!

Bad experience. Called and booked appointment for oil change. Person who scheduled me told me service would take 1 hour 20 mins including complimentary wash. Arrived for appointment. Service Rep said it would take 2 hours and 20 mins. When I questioned difference I was told that the person who booked my appointment doesn't know the service schedule and shouldn't have quoted how long it would take. The scheduling person doesnt know the schedule? Lame.

Worst experience- they showed me a truck I test drove and sat for an hour plus working out the details. I was even agreeing to a higher loan amount. Then after all that the sales guy came back to tell me " sorry that truck was just.sold" never again they will not get my hard earned money after the way I was treated.!!!!

HORRIBLE!!!! Typical car salesmen that work here, no one really cares about you as a customer but instead about making bogus deals. I was told they'd give me PENNIES for my vehicle towards a payoff and if I didn't want it then my other option was to buy their car and let my other vehicle get CHARGED OFF!!!! Who creates deals like this, who encourages their customers to let a vehicle get charged off?? THESE GUYS, typical salesmen trying to do anything & everything for a sale especially if you don't have large amounts of cash down on their over priced vehicles. I was lied to by a finance manager named Anthony, who acted like all I needed to do was come down & he'd take care of me with my already approved loan, I got there & this man didn't even remember he spoke to me and RUDELY never came back to process my financing. If you are in the market for a vehicle AVOID this place because everything is a game & you'll waste hours of you time trying to haggle!!! After the experience I've had there I would never purchase a vehicle from this lot, I like HONESTY & ethical folks & this clearly wasn't the place!!!! SHAME ON YOU CAMELBACK FORD!!!!

Took my car in to get an AC unit replaced and have my engine checked out. After it was fixed they said all the bolts were tightened down to spec. I hear a rattling noise coming from my engine bay while checking my oil levels and I see one of my head bolts is busted from being over tightened. So much for being tightened to spec. I hope they can fix this problem since it was done at their shop. UPDATE: Owner claims my last visit was over 2 years ago. Called to confirm it was less than 6 months. Owner lied.
They put a LOCK ON THE ICECREAM and the key to it was in the OTHER BUILDING!!! Not at the front desk there and not even the guy who has a desk right next to it had a key for it. AND THEY STILL DIDN'T GET MY BROTHER'S TRUCK DONE AND HE HAD IT BROUGHT IN AT 7AM AND WE GOT IT BACK AT 5PM!!!!
Very disappointed with this dealership! The process of buying the car went smooth and easy of course, but less then 30 days after driving my 2015 Ford Edge off the lot, the issues began. First, a bad battery - $150, then a tire blow out and find out my tires are at the end of their life - $800, then a crack in my moonroof - which they said my insurance will have to cover, and last but not least my brakes start squeaking and find out they too are at the end of their life, gonna be another $400!!! Nothing covered by the warranty and the car has less then 40k miles on it. Crazy!!!! I was told this car had a certified preowned inspection done, just wondering exactly what they inspected??? We are in the market for another car and definitely won t be going back to this dealer!
I have owned a Ford product for 40 years and I have never dealt with a dealership like Camelback Ford. My daughter was trying to buy her first new car and received terrible service which included the old bait and switch on price and interest rates and intimidation by the closer Daisy. The customer service representative tried to help but had little support from management. Beware of this dealership and the unethical practices. She went to another dealership and had the appropriate and friendly business experience

I went to Camelback Ford after talking to Anthony Mata to look for my first vehicle from a dealership. Initially, they were unable to finance me, but Anthony gave me some good advice. After following it, I went back to him and he got me financed that day. This being my first time purchasing a car, I was unaware of how long it actually took, but that would be the only downfall. Anthony was extremely personable and kept in non-annoying contact with me throughout everything. I'm very happy with my purchase, and I would recommend them.
I went and seen Victoria on Saturday and I had been to a bunch of dealers trying to get a payment in my range and finally I stopped at camelback ford and met Victoria and it was the best ! I left with my car that night and she has already called me to make sure I loved my new car !! Go see Victoria !!

We were recently searching for a new family car. There are so many dealerships in the valley and I m happy we spent some of our valuable kid free time here. A young man named Ryan patiently answered my laundry list of questions and never got pushy or obnoxious like the majority of people that attacked us the minute we opened our car door on the lot. We went to look at a specific vehicle whose price was advertised as $22900 online Imagine my surprise when the tag on the car was over $29000. Would be a place that would gladly overcharge you if you don't know what the price should be. Be cautious!

I went into Cambelback Ford in August 2017 because my car was having trouble starting. I was brushed off after the battery was checked and told there was nothing wrong with my car. There was also a fuel smell being emitted from my car. As I am a young female, I do not feel that I was taken seriously. However, in 2016 there was a recall on my car that had to do with the fuel pump leaking fuel into the inside cabin of my car. The associate did not do his due diligence to investigate my car. If he had, he would've realized the issue immediately. I returned in March 2018 after getting a standard oil check and being told my car needed to be taken in immediately. It was only after I brought up the potential of a recall, was this looked into. The associate confirmed that there was in fact a recall and took care of the issue. Fuel had been leaking into my cabin for several months. While I appreciated the associate taking care of my car rather quickly after I shared my experience, I was dismayed about how I was treated. Once again, despite the fact that I am the owner of the car, the associate only addressed my boyfriend.
