The room was great and cleaning services was excellent. However there were some issues. There was only 1 functioning elevator during our time there and the wait sometime was 5 minutes or more. In our room the sink drainage was terribly slow and usually filled up quick. The shower did not work... We asked the front desk and they told us that we would have to pull very very hard to make it work. I found that very dumb. We booked through hotwire and even when paying in full, we still had to have a valid credit card and they put a 350$ hold on it. They wouldn't accept cash or debit. This could have easily gotten a 5 star but bad policy and room issues killed that.

This is the best hotel I've ever been to! It's in a really prime location, with the eatons center basically next door. The rooms were also very nice and clean.
I'll for sure be coming back to stay next year

My 2-night stay at the Cambridge Suites Hotel Toronto was such a pleasure. The hotel is conveniently located downtown close to theatres, nightlife & shopping. The area has endless attractions and entertainment including Yonge-Dundas Square, the Elgin Theatre, Eaton's Cente and much more. Public transportation is easy to access but if you opt to drive, paid parking is available underground and includes in/out privileges. From the moment my group & I stepped into the lobby, we were greeted warmly and welcomed. We were checked in promptly by friendly, helpful front desk staff who assisted in making a few small changes to our reservation. Our room was located on the 11th floor, suite 1111, and had a nice view facing east and overlooking Victoria Street. I loved the layout of the room which perfectly suited our needs as a party of three. We had a king size bed and sofa bed which were both very comfortable, and desks in the bedroom and den area that were conveniently equipped with extra sockets making it easy to work and charge devices. The complimentary WiFi was fast and easy to connect to. I loved that the bathroom had a door separating the bathtub and toilet from the mirror and sink. It made sharing the bathroom and getting ready so much easier. Decor was a little dated but the room was homey and comfortable. Overall, it was a great stay.

Great hotel if you don't plan on having a party in your room - they have a strict policy on who can come in after certain hours. The staff was helpful and the rooms were very large and comfortable!

My friend made the terrible choice of picking this hotel to stay at for his birthday. Late night hotel staff was extremely rude and would not let you bring people in if they are not on the reservation. One friend had to sleep out on the streets or pay 200$ for a room. Also, we got a warning for noise after playing music that was not even loud. Would not recommend for younger people visiting toronto with friends

Very nice hotel our room was very clean staff was very nice stayed in executive suit love the turn down service hot tub on 22nd floor and sauna very nice. When we arrived to the to the hotel the greeting staff was phenomenal welcomed us with smiles and warm welcomes. Rooms were spacious and nice. If you plan to go out and stay in this hotel do not stay here. The night staff was extremely rude. We had a friend who was very intoxicated and we asked if he could stay with us even though our room had the 4/4 people and were willing to pay for the extra person. The night manager we would have to pay 240 for a room (were listed online for 180) and then told us that "he looks fine to drive". Definitely not impressed by the hospitality service and lack of sympathy of the night staff.

It's a good place to stay in downtown Toronto at moderately priced prices, but the suite is not spacious enough to accommodate three to four people. The worst thing is that the bedroom window is a bit stale and the wind bleeds and the curtain blows in the curtains.

Front desk was lazy and not particularly helpful. Room was great. Large, impressive. Housekeeping was awful. Certainly not worth what you pay. If you do stay here, be sure to use a travel site to get a discount.

Rooms smell like old carpet, manager on duty, Shirley, would not refund room for second night, so we could leave. Had us wait all morning, for an upgraded room, then telling us all the rooms were all the same. Not good customer service!!
She didn't really care,

We had a very nice long weekend at this hotel. The rooms are nice and clean and the staff was excellent. Leticia was always accommodating if we needed our room cleaned, towels or toiletries. Being new to the beautiful city of Toronto, we need a bit of help figuring out how to get around, exchange money, etc. and the front seat was always very helpful. The breakfast buffet was also great (we did not have this included in our room rate but that is an option $15 Canadian, children under 12 are free). Parking is also offered at a discounted rate. Walking distance to a lot of the attractions. We would definitely stay here again and recommend.

Great location. Rahul at front desk was very friendly and helpful.
The bad part was the breakfast room the ladies were rude. When I asked for coffee I was told to get it myself. The hotel management should really work on their staff. Almost everyone complained about them.

Good points:

Good points:
- Helpful front desk staff during the day time hours
- polite and courteous housekeeping staff
- central location
- clean room

Things to improve:
- Night front desk staff must learn the basics of customer service
- had a power cut and one knew what was going on
- Some residents smoked marijuana in our floor and staff couldn't determine what was going on

Stayed with my parents this weekend for a function in Toronto, and it was nice. The suites were beautiful, and their fully loaded bars were scandalously stocked with enticing snacks and drinks. Fair pricing, but we stuck with a BYO approach. The only thing that SUCKED was the hide-a-bed that I slept on; Springs in your back all night can really ruin a stay. If I stayed again, I'd probably sleep on the couch as is (if I didn't just pony-up and get my own room).
