The zoo in Jerusalem made a strong impression on me. A very large area, many animals in natural conditions.
There are 3 different routes with varying degrees of length. When buying tickets, they immediately give you a map of the zoo - informative and understandable. Walking around the zoo is very pleasant - there is a lot of greenery, while due to the large territory there are not always many people near you.
There are tables and benches - you can take food and snacks with you.
There are cafes on the territory of the zoo (at the entrance), but prices are high there. Although coffee costs like everywhere else. In any case, it is better to take a snack with you.
We were at the Israel Aquarium, which is currently running.
The aquarium is part of the biblical zoo, at the moment the display is still not 100% perfect, but even with the current display we enjoyed a lot.
The tour is a little too tight, not giving too much freedom to turn around and look, but it makes sense when it comes to running instead. Total fun visit, recommended for families, boy interested and enjoy seeing different fish types
Comprehensive and extensive zoo. It is important to prepare for a long walk if you want to do a comprehensive tour
Thank you
Hi
A charming place in a huge area. Crowds of visitors and there is still strict adherence to behaviors and cleanliness of the environment. very interesting . An experience for adults and young people.
Recommended place for a family trip and animal lovers
Good for a place but the souvenir shop and expensive buffet are recommended to come with food from home.
The toilet is filthy and obviously not clean
Interesting, varied and charming. Even after 4 hours a day, the children did not want to go
A beautiful zoo
Because of the corona a lot of things are closed
And of course only by prior arrangement
Nice, and we had a very interesting game there.
Too bad it's open on Saturday
Excellent zoo, both parents and children enjoyed it very much!
Very big and nice but at the end prison for animals
Lovely zoo. Neat neat and excellent for children especially the children's corner where there are games and an excellent petting zoo.
2 stars I gave only because the elevators were very hard and we did not rent a motorized to make it easier. We saw 4 animals and returned home. The place is large and beautiful but hard to walk. I was with a one-year-old boy. And Grandpa and Grandpa was hard and even me, Mother. It's a shame that in such a well-maintained garden, it is not necessary to rent motor vehicles to their kind. Would make the experience jump. I felt I was on a beret.
I do not like the lack of movement of all the animals locked like prisoners in detention, do not like the idea of a primitive zoo, I think should adopt the safari idea that animals can move freely. Signs are confusing and to see everything you have to repeat your steps several times, unnecessary and irritating. It is very difficult for adults to rise and fall from my hands to the third age.
Services Squeeze.
Too long
Not particularly interesting
It's really fun but it's not advisable to go there with the great freedom because the zoo's camps don't let in that they are contacts to what they are living.
Clean, tidy, well-regulated, diverse. A very pleasant experience - also in Corona.
An amazing place, you can spend a whole day with children.
Fascinating, educational and value-added.
Recommended for all ages.
Nice zoo to spend hours. Elephants feeding and staff are awesome.
beautiful place! invested! You can spend a whole day there with your family (it is recommended to bring a food hunter for a lunch break).
Very nice though a few animals that are hard to see sometimes
A lovely place, preferably on a weekday when the train is running.
Firstly the aquarium is not fully open yet and you need to book a tour in order to get in. Their seemed to only be one or two tours a week in English so we went in Hebrew . The tour is not aimed at kids rather adults and the guide was upset by children talking to loud and taking too long. That being said the venue itself is very well designed and informative and I'm sure it will be amazing well the fish are fully populated
It is worth buying a family subscription to jump into a zoo at the end of the day, for a single hour or two, and stroll around the zoo.
Enjoy the lawns, have a picnic in the area, close to the animals.
The most pastoral place in Jerusalem, surrounded by green and exotic animals.
Activities, training and feeding animals throughout the day.
The staff are very generous and available therapists, training classes and study for everyone.
On Fridays there is a very nice jazz ensemble at the entrance to the garden.
A small train for a walk around the garden.
In the hot, busy hours they doze. It is better to come between 17-19.
The perfect place for children and adults. We recommend a family subscription, and come every time for a short time
Very nice place, still sad to see the captured animales
International level. The amount of experience is enough for two days. Perfect place.
A large zoo with a huge variety of animals and habitats.
There is not enough shade, on very hot days it is difficult to walk around the garden.
There are water fountains but the water is not cold.
Recommended for morning or afternoon chores. The rest of the time the animals are rather sleepy
The food in the hallway is simply oppressive. Magnum at 17 chess. A bottle of Zero 12, mineral water 750 mm for 10 NIS In short, avoid buying a name.
Beyond the animals in the garden, the garden looks beautiful, well maintained. The area is quite large, there are lots of lawn, benches to sit in. To rest, eat.
Overall we enjoyed :)
An experience for an entire day. We were there 4 hours and you can be more ...
A lot of walking and when you want to stop there are not too many shaded areas, unclean veterinarians, you can barely see the animals and beyond that it seems that the animals are in real suffering in some of the cells.
Fun for the whole family can be spent a full day including a picnic in the shady corners of a nice train ride for kids and all the experience
A charming and pleasant place, fascinating and easy to travel. It is possible to spend an entire day with great pleasure.
A good place. Too bad a lot of things are closed due to the situation
We were once a fourth or a fifth. This time with children aged 5.3 and a year. Definitely a garden in our favorite animals in Israel. It is very convenient to walk around, the animals interest the children and the viewing distance is convenient even for the little ones. We arrived at 16:00 at the end of August during the busy period of the year, but there were parking spaces and this time there was not even a queue for tickets at the entrance. Those who walk in August recommend the afternoon / evening hours - the animals were also very active.
Children were happy, animals without bars, large territory
All in all nice .... the cages need a lot of cleaning ... and it was very hard for me to see the elephants because they had no water and they looked very suffering
There are a lot of nice places to sit a little tired because of the expensive entrance ticket about $ 14 per person
An interesting zoo where animals create comfortable living conditions. Some animals are rescued from smugglers and poachers. Very convenient viewpoints - a kangaroo will have a surprise waiting for you! There is a shop with souvenirs and refreshments.
I do not want tracking where I am. Clearly illegal.
charming. Clean and well maintained. There is a good space for animals.
A lovely place maintained and a pleasant family time
An excellent place for family vacation or with friends is to go desirably in the morning and for the whole day a lot of different animals and birds and to better consider all you need a day or five hours npopupokupke tickets give a map of the zoo in RUSSIAN language.
We loved the zoo, my granddaughter definitely approved
The zoo to visit while in Israel. On a hot day, don't forget to bring a decent amount of drinking water. Everybody's free to wear sunscreen.
It is a wonderful place to spend a day in, wheather you are a child or a grown up.
Biblical Zoo in Jerusalem is one of the most beautiful, relaxing, nice and clean for family, friends, couples and especially for kids. We spent hours here and we have a great time...
Great for kids. Amazing price especially if you take the annual family membership. Very nice staff. Plenty to see and do, and if you live in jlm you can come every week.
Love the place even in cool days the gardens are fun to sit and play wule walking and lerning about animals
A zoo with a feeding program and explanations is very interesting
A clean and tidy zoo.
The structure of the zoo is round so no matter how you decide to go you will see everything!
If you are a "friend" colleague, a ticket per person costs: 29 NIS
Highly recommended
It was very clean, well taken care of and the animals looked healthy
Really nice zoo expect to walk a lot but it s worth it has a good variety of animals
One of the nicest zoos in the world if not the nicest!
Beautiful place. Not expensive. Train station very close. Really good place for all the family. Take into consideration a few hours for all the tour. Local train. Interactions with animals. Food and drink on the spot. - amazing place. Reasonable prices. A train station is a few minutes walk from the entrance. A train spins all over the site. You can spend a whole day there. Diverse activities including caressing free animals. Kiosk with food and drink.
Always fun to spend time in the beast zoo with cute nephews! No giraffes.Elephants.Arias.Tigers.Bonies ...
The aquarium is also very nice except for the quality of the training and the signage
A place to bomb for the well-traveled, drink prices, popsicles and very expensive food
Huge, there are all kinds of animals here, you can spend two days here, do loads of fitness, there is also a kind of train for the little ones, in the summer you have to get up early to find parking, there is a playground in the middle and also a park, in the hot hours there are also shady places. There are loads of fig trees full of fruit, as befits the Judean region.
We really enjoyed the Jerusalem Aquarium, even though a few exhibitions were not yet full. The guide was knowledgeable and the temperature was comfortable. 90 minutes of interesting fish and other animals. Even a few sharks. Since we are from Baltimore we are a little spoiled as Baltimore National Aquarium is world class. This one is brand new and has great potential.
Great zoo! A lot of interesting animals, you can buy food for the birds and feed them. The zoo itself is located in a picturesque place and occupies a huge area, so it is better to immediately choose the map that gives out the route at the entrance. You can take a ride in a little train (costs 3 shekels).
Wonderful place for family outings. Very educational. Best Zoo I've been to. Be prepared to come back.
It was perfect we enjoyed every moment and obviously we will be back
A huge and fun zoo, the entrance price is high, open on Shabbat. It takes a full day's sightseeing
Where there is glass to see the animals ...... care must be taken to clean the glass ... interfering with photography ..... this is the most important thing about visiting the zoo ..... this is what remains of the visit ..... please Attention and comment on this to the garden management
Museum of Fish and Animal Aquarium in the four days of the State of Israel. Very invested. recommended. Good guidance from Tal Fox one of the guides
