Cool Pixar fair! It has a lot of cool things inside.
A magnificent cinema, popular science films with a very beautiful picture, will interest everyone without exception from small to large. The first place where I really felt the beauty of 3D cinema. Students will be pleasantly surprised by the discount.
Definitely a visit! :)
I love going to Cali Science Center. Admission is free for the Space Shuttle Endeavor is awesome. It's a fun museum to bring your family or significant other.
Alot of stuff to learn about. Great place to go see historically.
Pretty decent Science museum, though it did seem like many of the exhibits are a little dated. It was great to see the one of the actual space shuttles and the plans they have for the new building look fantastic. Thoigh some of the exhibits could use a modernization, there is plenty to do and this museum would be a fantastic place to spend a day with children.
Cool place to visit. We stopped to see the Endeavor and it was worth the small entry fee and reasonable parking fee.
Free admission to see the space shuttle if you're a student, but make sure to get the tickets online in advance. The Endeavor is truly awesome!
Lots of hands on exhibits and activities! We enjoyed the IMAX space show and spent a couple of hours exploring all the exhibits.
This place needs serious updating and better exhibits to interact with. We spent 75 dollars for a family of 4 to see the " dog exhibit" and the IMAX movie. The movie was great hence the one star review but the dog exhibit was bad just a bunch or boards with statements written on them very minimal interaction and mostly geared towards five year olds. The science center has same old exhibits and this is dissapointing no updating at all. In addition the minimal food choices at very high prices another big dissapointment. I feel completely ripped off price wise as well. We paid $75 dollars yet every interactive exhibit was $3-6 dollars more what a joke! This should be free!
I've been for various exhibits, but the King Tut feature was by far the best! The IMAX movie started the tour (for extra cost) followed by the two part exhibit of the history of discovery filled with artifacts from his tomb. Be prepared to pay $12 for parking (cash only).
It's a lot of fun for the kids. Enough activities to keep the kids busy for hours.
Cool science center. Space shuttle is pretty awesome.
So informative and fun. Have to go back another day to see everything.
For kids this place is great. Yes, most of the inactive exhibits are from the 80's, but young kids don't know that because they love pressing buttons and playing with learning exhibits. Oh yeah, did I mention there is a space shuttle here too. Awesome!
Fun and very interesting. The Space Shuttle is a must see when visiting LA.
Every animal lover has to stop by and enjoy the new exhibit. All families take the time to take your little ones to make unforgettable memories for just a donation. This is the stuff your family will remember and cherish.
I loved Imax movie, Padas. The pace shuttle is good too.
The museum is entrance free. Only special exhibits such as space shuttle are charged.
This time I went to see this space shuttle Endeavor.
Although reservation from the web is necessary, it was possible to do it easily by credit card settlement.
Again the real power is different. I was able to speak to a question from a kind explanatory person and I was able to ask a question.
My kids love this place! We got their family pass this year. It's a nice little gem in our neighborhood! Great people and it looks like they treat their animals well!
Great for families. Tons things to do. Cheap enough. Great exhibitions
All of the exhibits that are free are amazing experience for kids of all ages. The Space Shuttle is an amazing and unique experience that is well worth the price of admission. We went to the traveling King But exhibition a few years ago and it was a very impressive collection of artifacts and information. It is hard to find a time where the science center is not busy, but earlier in the day sees to be a better bet. It's location close to the Expo line and proximity to other attractions and the future plans for this area make the Claifornia Science Center a must see on any L.A. stop.
This is one of the best places to take your family if you ever drop by La
Went to the Tut exhibit and it was fantastic. They let you read about the display from a distance in 2 languages and then you can just look, when you get closer.
Great free museum with a wonderful aquarium and of course, the space shuttle.
if ur in the area and have time to kill, cant go wrong with this one. pretty incredible to see the actual Endeavor on display!
From science, technology to marine biology it's all there. It's captivating for all ages!
Museum entrance is free. Love the space travel related items they have on display (actual lunar modules and the space shuttle). The Ecosystems exhibit is probably my favorite part of the museum. Love how diverse it is and how good is the aquarium is too! We usually visit the place on a weekday so not really sure how crowded it gets on a weekend or in the summer.
OMG! YOU GOTTA GO! The most intricate pieces of Egyptian history you'll ever see, or never if you don't go, IMAX Hubble 3-D was outstanding & put you right in the room with astronauts being dressed for the "save Hubble" mission.
I saw it because it was free. But I wish I had a little more experience.
Lots of artifacts and information. You get a lot more the audio head gear that you ca purchase for around $6.00.
In a museum where children and even adults can enter the transformation of science in a fun, and enjoyable way. I recommend them for all the family.
Great exhibits! It was fun for adults and included great play areas for our one year olds.
Fantastic IMAX movie theatre showing wonderful Apollo 11 footage...
Some interactive exhibits were closed or under construction. King Tut exhibit was phenomenal.
For space enthusiastics this place is awesome. As for the rest, the museum exhibitions are are OK but less impressive than other science museums such Boston or London
This is a fantastic place! I went to see the Endeavor and the King Tut exhibit. It's wonderfully planned out and beautifully displayed. There's a huge parking lot, so it's not hard to park, just expensive. But I forget how much it is.
A place everyone should visit to know about space history.
Bunch of baloney Hocus Pocus fake outer space. Don't Take Your Kids there to brainwash them.
Great place to visit. Specially if you have kids. Admission is free, just pay for parking.
Lots of fun exhibits... Was bummed you had to pay extra to see the shuttle.
Ideal place to walk with children and adults should also like. There are several experiences and experiences to be carried out on the spot. There are rooms that talk about the journey of man to space, about adversities of the climate, human body, ecosystems and also always have itinerant exhibitions.
Majority of the exhibits are getting dated. The recent Pixar exhibit was underwhelming.
It's $12 to park and admission is free. I'd be upset if I had to pay because I dont think they have updated anything on it since I was a kid.
You and your family and children can learn a lot and have an awesome time here.
Useing personal information without concent of human rights of yahnee
Great place to spend a rainy afternoon. The space shuttle endeavour is a great exhibit.
A place full of adventure whether young or old. Something as "boring" as starfish came alive with a helpful explanation.
It's awesome. Many exibits covering different forms of Science. Love this place
Came here for the King Tut experience. Amazing the treasures they brought to share with us.
Terrific docents, interesting and interactive exhibits, modern space and The Endeavor Space Shuttle. Beyond cool.
A great bargain, too.
The current King Tut exhibit is fantastic. It runs through the year, then to Europe. This does require you purchase tickets in advance. If you don't want to see Tut, no worries, it won't interfere with the rest of the space.
Super fun, one of my favorite places in LA! Just a little dated, still stuck in the early 2000s
A great place to spend the evening. Very good place to spend your afternoon. It's all about your future.
Nice science center to visit for everybody !
Pay attention that the parking is just 100m from the entry. You pay for all the day not hourly !
It was impressive to see Endeavor !! I think it's a good place to enjoy because there is a big aquarium etc. !!
