Wow, what an unexpected experience! We thoroughly enjoyed the California ScienCenter which is near Downtown LA and the USC campus. The space portions, including the Endeavor Space Shuttle were my favorite. One tip, don't visit it in the middle of the day during summer camp season. It seemed that every kid from every day camp in LA was there, so there was some distraction. But if that is when you can go, DO IT! It'll be worth it.

This place was absolutely outstanding! There is SO much history in just the building and site alone but housed inside is one of the most fascinating collections of the ecosystems, how the body works and how science and math are used in our everyday lives! There are planes hangin around!! Space shuttle parts and an ACTUAL space shuttle downstairs!! So much to see and do here and admittance is free to most exhibits. The ecosystems are on two floors with a kelp forest, touch tank and a frozen wall just to name a few.

The Science Center is always a blast. People in LA need to take advantage. It's FREE. There is so much to see, including the space shuttle and it's propulsion rocket. This could easily be a whole day adventure and you can easily take the metro rail to avoid traffic. The also have an IMAX theatre showing educational films but that will cost you.

Lots of great science to see for free plus special exhibitions. The Endeavor space shuttle is also there. If you're in LA before January 2019, definitely check out the King Tut exhibition!

Very good exposure, it is to spend about two three hours quietly visiting everything, also all free. Since the parking on the sidewalk in that area is a maximum of two hours (at least when I went) I recommend keeping the car in a parking lot because if not they are distracted by all the things there are to see and when they go to the car they will find with a nice $ 63 fine plus two administrative fees. The best? The original Endeavor I serve.
