The science center was a great experience. There are many interesting things to see and experience. Currently you can see Endeavor for $2.00. That was a nice experience. You can get tickets there or online. I just bought the tickets on my phone when I got there instead of standing in line and showed them on my phone. Parking costs $12 in the morning, but I believe I read that it changes throughout the day.

Hidden gem of the county. Out of town visitors (from San Diego) enjoyed with their autistic son. Lots of interactive exhibits for younger crowd. Adjoining natural history museum, IMAX also great.

Very good experience for myself and the young group I took. Customer service was okay. Not horrible but not great. Could have used better direction and guides in some of the exhibits but it was an overall cool experience.

Love coming to the Science Center. Variety of hands on exhibits for kids of all ages, some of them don't work the best, but there is so much to see that you can get a full day in. There is a rise garden that is a nice place to eat lunch. If able to do not miss the shuttle, Endeavour. You need to purchase a ticket, absolutely worth it.

There are a ton of fun hands on activities for the kids. The only down fall is some of the simulators were not free. They ranged from $3 to 8. There are special exhibits that also charged. It was split into 3 levels and sub buildings and there were different areas varying in age ranges. Staff was helpful as well.

A terrific place to go as an adult or like us take our 1 and 3 year old.
Heaps of hands on stuff for all ages and is all free. Except specific exhibitions.
Another free one is the endeavor shuttle which is what we went for and it is amazing. Get so close and great story of the entire shuttle program.
Well worth going.

It's free so that was great but it's seriously outdated. I know sounds funny saying that stuff in a museum is old but the exhibits look like they haven't been changed since the eighties and they are very cheesy. It's starting to get really run down in there and I wouldn't spend the extra money for the pay exhibits. If you're in the area and need to kill or waste a couple of hours then it's something to do. If you're traveling to see it or have kids above 8 then you're wasting your time. Try the Science Institute in San Francisco, mikie that's a great for all ages.

One of the most interesting places to go at LA. If you have a kid this is a must!

The most incredible thing is to see the Endevour with your very eyes. Every space fan should go to admire it.

This isn't a top 5 of places to go at LA, if you are in town for limited days then you can miss this museum. BUT if you are a museum enthusiast this is one of the places to go.

Great place to spend the day. We did the Tut exhibit and visited the Rose Garden the finished up with the iMax Tut movie. Next time we will hit one the museums or The Endeavor.
The Metro is the way to go. Under $2 and stops right in front of the main building. No traffic, no parking and maybe a little entertainment on the way. From North Hollywood Station just one transfer, so easy.

Great place to learn and spend a day. Space shuttle Endeavour is amazing to see in person along with the disturbing yet insightful Body Worlds (temporary exhibit). Have been several times and always see something new when I visit.

Parking is expensive and can suck if there are events at the collisieum, would definitely suggest checking the schedule and avoiding football days or other big events around USC. Also has a nice cafe and large giftshop with plenty of items to spend money on!
I am looking forward to when the shuttle exhibit is complete with the booster rocket attached.

A museum for children and adults too. Learning about science wasn t that fun when I was studying.

Next to the Coliseum it is now the home of Space Shuttle Endeavor. You can learn a lot about it s technology, all major facts related to the Space Shuttle program history and how this spaceship was transported through L.A.

As other museums it s free but you can leave a donation to help maintaining the museum.

Parking was $12 for the day.

There are some extra attractions that you can pay extra like IMAX cinema, small science applications and expositions. This time it was about ancient Egypt.

If you have some time in L.A. it s a great opportunity.

If you have kids, this is a great place to go. But if you're an adult trying to enjoy so science, I would not recommend coming here! I could barely walk 10 ft. Without stumbling on a child. It is great for kids, not for adults.

Great place to take your kids, especially if they are Into science. A lot of the exhibits are very very dated, but it's fun for the nostalgia. It's next to the natural history museum so you can do both if you start early enough.

The space shuttle earns it a whole extra star. There are very few exhibits that are in full working order and many other features require a payment via cash or credit. Be ready to pay for the more interesting exhibits. The flight/space features are great.

My boys love the science center and I love it because it's free, call me cheap, I don't care. I even found free parking on Sundays on the street behind the Chicfilet and Chipotle. I forgot the street name but it's free meters on Sundays and just a short walk across the street to the back of science center where you can enter from the rose garden side and cafeteria.

There you go, a completely free full day in the AC if you pack a lunch and drinks. Enjoy!

I grew up coming here. This is a fun educational environment for people of all ages. Also once you finish up with the Science center exploring ecological spaces and learning about the human body, The Rose Gardens are right across the way, and basically next door is the Natural History Museum.

Had a great time at the Tut exhibit. The ticket process was very easy with digital tickets on my phone. We ate there as well. The chicken tacos were better than I expected, and not too pricey. My son had a good time out by the fountain.

Beautiful place but I can not recommend you buy any tickets to any exhibits here ... Except for endeavor although I do not know if you have to pay to see that. I went to the dead body exhibit here and the Dead Sea scroll exhibit and both were horribly unorganized.

Some of the exhibits are terriblly outdated which is a shame considering the name and idea of it all. But I guess there is no money to upgrade .

Most of the people
That work here are not friendly or helpful.

It's a nice place to walk around and look around the sights and people

A free museum that's really fun! You can pay for special exhibits but out kids had a great time with what we did. The area is definitely downtown LA. We opted not to eat at a localfast food but brought our food there and ate outside on the grass.

The Museum it's a great place to visit with the family. But there is something that needs to be fix. In the Dessert exhibit there is a vulture, into a small room with very little space to fly and the Vulture is a big one. My suggestion would be to find a bigger place where he can fly and feel and comfortable, or set him free ASAP. Please do something about it.
