This is a very nice educational place, fun for all ages. Not only that but admission is fairly very cheap, items are pricey though. Totally recommend for locals to bring family here it s a very good fun place. Like taking pictures? here is a very good place. Want an educational trip? this is a very good place for that.

You could tell this museum used to be fun and innovative but as of now it just seems outdated and old. All the exhibits need revamping and polishing. It's got everything you would expect from a science museum and not much else. Parking is in a paid lot. General admission to the museum is free though.

Only went on this visit to see the space shuttle endeavour and was not disappointed. Also saw an imax movie. Free entry to the shuttle with your movie ticket or a very reasonable $2 each otherwise. The rest of the exhibits are free. Parking is a bit steep at $12 though, but that's not the museum that charges that though.

Best place in Los Angeles to bring your child to learn about science in many fun ways. Admission is free, parking is $12. There are additional fun activities they can see or do at an affordable price.

You can only see a giant space shuttle in a couple locations throughout the United States. Thus, Los Angele's California Science Center is a fantastic local museum (attraction) space. Access to the Space Shuttle and learning exhibits are free to visitors. The revolving attraction and IMAX theater showings require a separate ticket charge. Parking is 10 dollars in Exposition Park. The LA METRO Expo line (light rail and subway) tops directly across the Science Center's entrance area.

So fun, I visited it several times, since it was a huge place. It has a lot of floors, all packed with science, with biology, physics, and many other areas, as well as aircrafts and a spaceship, with much information to be learned. It also has a movie theater with great scientific movies.

If you want to introduce your little ones to science, this is the place. If you want to see great 3D movies about our planet and beyond, this place has a 7 - story by 90-foot IMAX theater. It also houses the space Shuttle Endeavor. How cool is that?

I have never been somewhere that you can enjoy yourself and have so much fun for free and actually get as close as you will ever get to space because the space shuttle Endeavour exhibit was the best

Nice place to visit, admission over priced , not worth it, after paying for parking and admission to see King Tut . Long wait in line , employees are not polite , restrooms dirty , no hand soap or TP. Yuk

I went to the Dead Sea Scrolls and it was horribly curated. The line was so poorly managed with people with later tickets getting in in front of us - no system for their every 15 minute admissions would it have been hard to have separate lines? Then the quantity of people made it impossible to see anything properly. What a disappointment. Thank goodness we went to IMAX of Jerusalem after as that was absolutely stellar!
I will be hard pressed to return there ever for a special exhibit.

A miracle! One of the wonders of humanity, this place is a worthy display of all the fantastic work and history that the American people and humanity have been able to do! Therefore, the 5 stars! I can only recommend!

Had a great time here as always. We saw the 3D Volcanoes documentary and it was awesome and breathtaking. The Dogs exhibit is nice and seeing the Space Shuttle is still one of our favorite stops no matter how many times we see it (if you see the 3D movie though, you get to see the shuttle for free). The small aquarium area is just enough to get your feet wet with marinw life fun. There's ample seating near the restaurant as well so you truly can spend the day here. The Rose Garden outside is always a sweet ending to the day. Visiting here is donation only but if you don't have money, you can still come in.

Always a good way to spend an afternoon. Went this time for the King Tut exhibit and it was very good. A lot of the items on display have never been out of Egypt before and they were all fascinating to see. The detail on some pieces is just outstanding. Found the entire exhibit more than enjoyable, it's broken down into 2 separate areas. Want to see it again but since the museum is normally free it's a little pricey almost $30 a ticket for this exhibit. If you're into this stuff then you have to see it, it's worth it.

Fantastic place to visit if you have kids. Free admission (except for shows or to view Endeavour, paying the $2 to see the space shuttle is worth it.) Try go during the week if you can, or get there early, as it gets uncomfortably busy.
