The only 2 places worse to visit in LA are Muscle Beach and Science Center
There was something of interest for everyone in the family.
Beautiful place to go with family and spend hours of entertainment
Overly busy on Saturday will never go back on the weekend. My little still enjoyed himself
Kinda expected a little more from this scientific centre, but otherwise we had a great time visiting the imax screen and the space shuttle Endeavour, which was without doubt the highlight of our visit to the science centre.
More items on display than decades ago. Beauty I've only seen in pictures!
Very nice place to visit with children .. admission is free ... You pay 3 dollars if you want to see the ship endevauer.
Admission was free to get in museum but you need to pay for the parking 12$.good place for kids to learn.
This is a good place to take kids its free and full of fun stuff
It's more than I'd, or you'd, even dream of!!!!!! It's amazing. It's worth the money, trip, and HOURS!!!!!!!
I remember going here as a kid, but I recently went again. A lot of the items should be replaced. The price is decent, but some of the employees were very grumpy.
On the third floor there is the creative world. My son was so excited to go in so he did and the lady asked how old he was he said seven as he just turned seven. She told him he had to go that it's only for kids younger than seven. I think that's really unfair. It should be for all kids. Won't be coming back here.
Educational and fun for all ages. The best part - free for all!
An unforgettable experience! The King Tut exhibit was excellent. They should call him the Golden boy king. He was obviously idolized by the people. I was looking forward to this exhibit.
I was then astonished and delighted to discover the Pompeii exhibit!! An awesome display! I had no idea there was such an exhibit! The short, more or less interactive film and physical entry was exemplary. Experinced the (slight) tremors, the wind before the iconoclastic flow and the sudden darkness and utter silence that followed. It put all of us in Pompeii at that moment.
A curious point: did you know there was no word for "volcano" in their language? Doubly frightening.
Go see this exhibit if you can!
Is a big building, with lots of rooms that have many exhibitions.
Love love love this place always clean great staff and their very knowledgeable. Oh and my daughter can't get enough of this place.
Beautiful place! Very educational and also took my kids to the Pixar Exhibition.
I come here all the time, yet I'm still amazed with everything they have
This is a place to visit!
The must see spot for tech geeks from all around the world!
I loved it my kids loved it. Went to go see the IMAX theater and the shuttle Endeavor was not disappointed they were great. I'd like to go back and see the treasures of King Tut's tomb probably won't have time but nonetheless it was excellent time. My kid loves exploring all the cool stuff there was to do and I nerd it out on all the space stuff. The staff was friendly and helpful the lines weren't too long for anyting really it all went very well.
Cool place to bring the kids! Free! But the exhibit is extra!
Amazing and free it is like a childrens museum mixed with a natural history museum. There are a few exhibits that cost money that change every few months and it costs $3 to see the space shuttle Endeavour. Definitely make sure to see the shuttle! Food is pricey so bring snacks and take a break or eat after.
Good fun with the family lots to do. But we tried the food and it was awful. Eat ahead or afterwards.
Really cool place to visit on the holidays, only that it's very crowded. Be careful
If you can go, I think you should go. I learned very much.
And I was moved by Endeavor.
If you think it is paid, you can watch it with donation money.
Amazing environment for educational and pleasurable purposes to visit. Students, teachers and tourists will be definitely excited. Photo is allowed, most items are affordable for touching. They provide audio guides and assistance for disabled people.
Been here a billion times as an adult with my little ones and when I was a little one , this place is fun & cool and you can't leave here without having some kind of fun !!!!!!!!!!!!
I really enjoy coming here to see the exhibits. King Tut was great to see.
The endeavor is always great to see too!
If you need a snack, the coffee shop has decent baked cookies.
My family had a great time! There is a surprising amount of things to do and see! The special exhibits cost money, but the permanent exhibits are free. The center relies on donations to fund operations.
Absolute great place to take children spent all day there with my son who is visiting from out of state had an absolute last as well did other family and friends lots to see and lots to learn is top it all off I finally got to see a space shuttle the Endeavor is displayed in spectacular form you have to see it to believe it would recommend this place to anybody
Fun place to take the kids. The space shuttle and environment rooms are my favorite exhibits here.
Because it was on a weekday, admission was free and the freaking Space Shuttle was HUGE!!!
Need more hands on exhibits for toddlers over 3 years old
Saw the Space Shuttle Endeavor. What could be more awesome! I love the fact that general admission is free and all the displays were well-done: colorful and hands-on. This is a real gem. Take your kids there and you'll have a great day.
It i t s it was perfect and amazing and their c u s t o m e r s s e r v i c e s w a s a w e s o m e
On 12-10-2019 my school Lytlecreek went to a field trip to a science center. My classmates and I were trying to go to the pets but we needed teacher to go in and we already entered the center. The pizzas were expensive and it was a little round pizza for $10 and the drinks the people put the prizes up.When I was speed walking I was told to walk and I was not even running.S I recommend all of the people in the world not to go there of all these things and it SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow. This place is FREE?! Amazing to see something like this that is free to explore. Lots of great exhibits to check out throughout (even as adults).
The space shuttle does cost money to check out, but the money helps fund the ridiculously awesome project for setting the shuttle and the boosters in launch configuration for display.
Especially great if you're attending a Rams, LAFC, or Trojans game and you have time before or after the game.
Very nice visit...especially enjoyed the Space Shuttle exhibit.
Don't know how old some exhibits are. Some don't work. Fun experience.
Your child.... and you will love it.
I was especially excited to see the spaceshuttle endeavor. This exhibit alone is worth the trip. We only had a couple of hours to see the place which was not nearly enough. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to completely enjoy the wonderful displays and hands on activities. We will be returning very soon.
Wonderful experience with our family and friends.
Highly recommend visiting this museum. Make it a day, take a picnic lunch and enjoy the beautiful gardens.
Got a little long in the tooth but is still very fascinating and informative for kids of any age.
Science is awesome and this place does it justice!!
I was very disappointed. Personally I think it s a scam. They make you believe that King Tut sarcophagus is there. That s what they want you to believe with the all posters they have plastered all over LA. Save your money and stay away. Very deceiving.
PS: I had posted a similar review last April 2018. Somehow was taken down.
Always something to do. Child friendly. There is a small food court and the IMAX theater is humongous.
Great place for interactive learning for kids over 5. And it has free admission.
You learn too much. A really very interesting place.
Lots of fun things to do. The IMAX movies were personally a bit disappointing, though.
Nice place to visit. There are some tips to buy an IMAX ticket and it will allow you to see the space shuttle for free! We saw apollo 11 and the Hubble 3d
General admission is free, but pay the $3 to see the Endeavour space shuttle it's amazing
Nice place; I went to see the Endeavor and paid only $2.00 per person..
Museum feels a little dated, but it's free (parking is $10) so who am I to complain? One thing that seriously bothered me: they have a "Chicken or the Egg" exhibit, with baby chicks in an illuminated box. Must be a stressful environment for the little guys as they had self-plucked a lot of their own feathers. Wish they'd close that down.
They have a space shuttle! It's the only one on the West Coast. The IMAX theatre is also nice if they're playing something interesting. They have other things too. Good place for children with curious minds.
Free museum for all, great to see ready space gear, 3D movies are paying and great to see
I was impressed to see the space shuttle endeavor coming and going to the space station up close.
I went there on May 3, 2018.
So many interesting interactive exposition for free. If you want to see Endeavour, you should pay 3 USD outside center for ticket, and then show this ticket on the second floor and get additional one blue ticket, which you would need at the entrance.
