Very helpful displays of the human body anatomy using amazing "plastination" technology. I took my college students there and it was an amazing experience for them.

Show the museum, even more when you are faced with the Endeavor Space Shuttle. There is a lot to visit so I suggest taking about 4 hours to get to know everything.
We loved it ! Only downside parking is so much $15 .
Wonderful and free center to be included absolutely among the must-see destinations in Los Angeles.
Here the Endeavor shuttle can be visited for a few dollars
This is a good place to bring the kids unless it's the end of the school year, when they allow way too many school groups to come at once. I wish they would have a policy to remind teachers to respect the safety of the other patrons. I have a stroller and an infant in a carrier, and we were run into by two teachers and three students, and spent the rest of the time dodging out of the way, because people step back or turn and start running without looking. The groups are large, and it would be beneficial to the regular patrons if they could tell the groups to stay to the right so there's a clear path. They often completely blocked the walk ways. Also, my small toddler was looking at the fish, and two little boys came and pushed her out of the way. I asked them about four times to let her have her turn as she was there first. The teacher was standing right behind me and would not step in. You'd think it would be the perfect time to teach consideration and sharing, especially when it comes to rowdy boys shoving a little girl aside with no regard for her safety. We were really disappointed that there wasn't more supervision when the place was so overcrowded. Also we got a salad at the market, and it was completely rotted. It would be a really good idea to bring your own food.
The space shuttle was better than expected. Pretty cool place. Signage could be better once you are in.
the California Science Center is a great place to bring your family and friends especially for the kids to learn new things and new ideas
Interesting and interative exhibits. If you like science, you can stay here the entire day. We enjoyed the flight simulators! But some activities are not working and some are a tad old (not well maintained) hence not 5 stars. But entrance is free hence that is totally understandable. We paid USD 6 and USD 8 per person for the space & flight simulators respectively.
Excellent exhibits and great staff. King Tut was incredible. Space shuttle is unbelievable.
Not only can you view about 90% of this place for free they also have exhibits that change periodically for a fee that are out of this world. The staff is friendly and the Trimana food in the food court is delicious with plenty of options to choose from. I also recommend catching an iMax feature while there. They are the perfect length to get off your feet and into the air conditioning. Great sound and super high quality picture.
Love that entrance is free! I highly recommend taking in an IMAX movie while you are there!
A lot of cool exhibits but I'm a bit disappointed that the data used in some is very out of date. Using 2003 data in 2018 isn't very relevant and skews perceptions. Especially the danger of flights when calculated so soon after 9/11. That said I enjoyed my trip and seeing all the cool King Tut and space things. It might be helpful to have a designated in and out door but that's minor.
It is a place where each person can learn how science has evolved and all the tools that have been designed. Enjoy it with your family, do not miss the visit to the impressive cinema!
One of the must-see attractions in Los Angeles, people who love science, don't miss it. There are a lot of practical hands-on teaching aids, the most special of which is the aquarium showing the living algae forest and the space shuttle entity display.
Simply great, you can experiment and you can see the space shuttle endeavor
For children, it should be a good place to go. The history and hugeness of Endeavour is shocking for children.
We were so excited to wander into the museum by chance only to see the Endeavor up close and personal. Reading the history was sure a treat. They also have a killer rose garden out front that was a great place to rest after the walk.
Excellent free museum. Lots to see and do. Super cool to see real jets and the actual Endeavor space shuttle. Something for everyone. Also has a decent food court.
Wonderful place to go! I can't wait for the new building to be constructed around the space shuttle.
Its free and the exhibits are interactive and high quality
I cried a little when I saw the space shuttle so...
More than a day's of things to explore, loved visiting the space shuttle
they had a slime section and they guy there was nice...I m 18 and I still play with slime...
It's a great family outing. There's so much to see. I felt we could have stayed longer but the kids were tired. Great place to visit.
It's one of my favorite museums in California and its also free to inter and its an amazing place to bring kids of all ages.
What a great place for all ages :-) Went to see space shuttle and was amazed to see all area of science covered . Loved the aquarium part too.
This is great place for the whole family. Must visit.
This is an amazing place for children and adults to enjoy. A lot of hands on education never hurt anyone. They have great selection of exhibits and the aquarium is beautiful. The $2 Endeavor ticket is icing on the cake.
Dope spot. Mondays are great because its not crowded.
A day here with the children is worth more than a year of school. It's worth visiting.
Endeavour is a must see! Will be great when they complete the purpose built exhibition for it.
Through much of the museum is aimed at younger kids, the space shuttle is really worth seeing regardless of your age. In addition, they had a gemini capsule there which had actually travelled to space.
This is the most ghetto museum I've ever been to in my entire life. When museums upgrade exhibits and get rid of the old broken stuff, this is where it comes to be buried. Most exhibits didn't work. Even on a free day, felt ripped off.
We had a good time at the Endeavour exhibit. Wasn't too keen on the cost of food.
Great exibits and the food at the market grill had huge burgers!
Nice time to spend a summer day with kids and family!
Went to visit king Tuts displays, so glad we did, really enjoyed it.took lots of pictures, would recommend this for any famiely to visit that enjoys history. The space shuttle is a wonder, it will blow you away. It is huge and in its real condition.
Definitely worth stopping by for a couple of hours. Don t miss the space shuttle - this one has actually been to space (unlike others). Also make sure to see a film in the IMAX, pretty impressive. Lots of school kids during the week on mornings obviously.
It's a great place to take your kids to see and learn about cience, life, oceans among other things.
The high part for me is the Endeavour space ship parked inside.
High quality science experience with activities for all ages. .. hands on for smaller kids, extras for bigger kids like rocket flight simulator. There is an aquarium, ice room, desert room, 3D MOVIE Theater, and so much more. The food court is excellent! Portions are huge, can be split and the food quality and taste is gourmet. I stopped packing lunch from home. The rose garden is a nice place to relax while visiting and the metro makes it a hassle free ride to the center, the light blue line stops across the entrance.
mann this science center is awesome everyone should go to this place
Always love the experience there.. great information
Free and you can spend the whole day there and still not cover everything
Amazing place! Endeavour must see! But I forget to look for a little rock from the Moon
We saw the King Tut exhibit and it was fascinating. There is so much to see here it would take days to see the entire Science Center. A must see is the Space Shuttle. Great place to take kids of all ages
This is a place that you must go and dont forget ur kids! They would like it too!!
Large and clean. A very nice collection of artifacts. From local biomes to moon rock.
There is so much to do and see here. Prices are definitely worth it, and they always have new exhibits. I love coming here and learning!
My son had a blast. The ice cream cookie sandwich was great
Love this place! Lots of things to see just in the general area of the museum. The museum itself was fun and interactive. A lot of good exhibits. Nice way to spend a gorgeous day down in Lost Angeles. Get there at opening and avoid any crowds. Street vendors now accept major credit cards. Oh! You have to see tide pool. Multi level and amazing!
I can rate this place 0 i would it was so boring and so outdated. My grandson couldnt wait to get ouf of there and honestly neither could i!!!
It's always good. I like the rose garden. I like the fountain outside, too. It's a great place to spend time with the kids.
Wow I love to visit C.S.C our kids learned about sciences
Really enjoyed this museum. It has lots of fun interactive science activities to enjoy. Also very informational and interesting as well. There's a food court below and the area around the museum has several other museums and sites.
We had a great time visiting the King Tut Treasures exhibition. I think its free but you need to pay for any special exhibits or IMAX shows.
A lot of things to see, not as much to touch as an Exploratorium or Moxi. Free admission is a bonus. Imax theater is excellent. Good food options in the museum and nearby. Great gift shop.
It's all very interesting dog exhibit it must be especially nice for kids
Neat exhibits great place to take kids and for them to learn about science. Neat place for a field trip for your school.
