This is a good place to bring the kids unless it's the end of the school year, when they allow way too many school groups to come at once. I wish they would have a policy to remind teachers to respect the safety of the other patrons. I have a stroller and an infant in a carrier, and we were run into by two teachers and three students, and spent the rest of the time dodging out of the way, because people step back or turn and start running without looking. The groups are large, and it would be beneficial to the regular patrons if they could tell the groups to stay to the right so there's a clear path. They often completely blocked the walk ways. Also, my small toddler was looking at the fish, and two little boys came and pushed her out of the way. I asked them about four times to let her have her turn as she was there first. The teacher was standing right behind me and would not step in. You'd think it would be the perfect time to teach consideration and sharing, especially when it comes to rowdy boys shoving a little girl aside with no regard for her safety. We were really disappointed that there wasn't more supervision when the place was so overcrowded. Also we got a salad at the market, and it was completely rotted. It would be a really good idea to bring your own food.

Interesting and interative exhibits. If you like science, you can stay here the entire day. We enjoyed the flight simulators! But some activities are not working and some are a tad old (not well maintained) hence not 5 stars. But entrance is free hence that is totally understandable. We paid USD 6 and USD 8 per person for the space & flight simulators respectively.

Not only can you view about 90% of this place for free they also have exhibits that change periodically for a fee that are out of this world. The staff is friendly and the Trimana food in the food court is delicious with plenty of options to choose from. I also recommend catching an iMax feature while there. They are the perfect length to get off your feet and into the air conditioning. Great sound and super high quality picture.

A lot of cool exhibits but I'm a bit disappointed that the data used in some is very out of date. Using 2003 data in 2018 isn't very relevant and skews perceptions. Especially the danger of flights when calculated so soon after 9/11. That said I enjoyed my trip and seeing all the cool King Tut and space things. It might be helpful to have a designated in and out door but that's minor.

One of the must-see attractions in Los Angeles, people who love science, don't miss it. There are a lot of practical hands-on teaching aids, the most special of which is the aquarium showing the living algae forest and the space shuttle entity display.

We were so excited to wander into the museum by chance only to see the Endeavor up close and personal. Reading the history was sure a treat. They also have a killer rose garden out front that was a great place to rest after the walk.

This is an amazing place for children and adults to enjoy. A lot of hands on education never hurt anyone. They have great selection of exhibits and the aquarium is beautiful. The $2 Endeavor ticket is icing on the cake.

Through much of the museum is aimed at younger kids, the space shuttle is really worth seeing regardless of your age. In addition, they had a gemini capsule there which had actually travelled to space.

This is the most ghetto museum I've ever been to in my entire life. When museums upgrade exhibits and get rid of the old broken stuff, this is where it comes to be buried. Most exhibits didn't work. Even on a free day, felt ripped off.

Definitely worth stopping by for a couple of hours. Don t miss the space shuttle - this one has actually been to space (unlike others). Also make sure to see a film in the IMAX, pretty impressive. Lots of school kids during the week on mornings obviously.

High quality science experience with activities for all ages. .. hands on for smaller kids, extras for bigger kids like rocket flight simulator. There is an aquarium, ice room, desert room, 3D MOVIE Theater, and so much more. The food court is excellent! Portions are huge, can be split and the food quality and taste is gourmet. I stopped packing lunch from home. The rose garden is a nice place to relax while visiting and the metro makes it a hassle free ride to the center, the light blue line stops across the entrance.

Love this place! Lots of things to see just in the general area of the museum. The museum itself was fun and interactive. A lot of good exhibits. Nice way to spend a gorgeous day down in Lost Angeles. Get there at opening and avoid any crowds. Street vendors now accept major credit cards. Oh! You have to see tide pool. Multi level and amazing!

Really enjoyed this museum. It has lots of fun interactive science activities to enjoy. Also very informational and interesting as well. There's a food court below and the area around the museum has several other museums and sites.

A lot of things to see, not as much to touch as an Exploratorium or Moxi. Free admission is a bonus. Imax theater is excellent. Good food options in the museum and nearby. Great gift shop.
