It's always a great experience coming here. Tip for those coming, see what exhibits you'd like to see and plan ahead. There are some where you have to pay to see. Also parking is $12 cash only.

Lots of fun if youre interested in engineering, astronomy, or just love to see what goes up in the sky up close and personal. My only complaint is that theres sometimes too much people that are in one area at the same time. Maybe a better flow of foot traffic would be nice. Next time ill have to come when it wont be so crowded.

Amazing place! Love the attention the staff gives to the animals and how friendly they are with the guests. Love all the remodeling it looks great and more spacious for the animals. Definitely recommend going here with kids and adults. They even do a sloth & yoga and wine and paints nights among other fun events

So much fun! The space shuttle alone is worth seeing and quite inspiring. The exhibit is well done with a nice lead up to seeing the shuttle. A very informative and cool showcase of a lot of different aspects of space travel followed by how they got the shuttle through Los Angeles. I ve been to the museum a few times and they often have a cool rotating exhibit as well! Check it out online ahead of time and book your tickets, the space shuttle is free but requires a time slot. If it s in season, there s also an ice rose garden outside as well!

The Endeavor was remarkable. I would have never thought I would have been that excited to be in such close proximity to a space shuttle that has ventured on 24 excursions to space. I am looking forward to going back and bringing my family with me.

My husband loves the space shuttle and seeing it in person was just breath taking! Have been back several times and each time we take our kids and grandchildren. Lots of hands on exhibits for the kids. Find new things we didn't see the last time! Go explore and make new lasting memories with your family! You won't be sorry!

Yes, there are some really cool things to look at, but it is really over priced and crowded. You are literally herded like cattle from line to line and led into a room fool of people battling to view the pieces and read descriptions. I felt rushed to move from artifact to artifact because people were pressing into see each exhibit. If you don't mind the claustrophobia, you'll be fine...

Honestly terrible. Of course it's free - it hasn't been updated since the bloody 90s. Live animals kept in tiny enclosures like a sad zoo. Come here if you want to distract your kids for an hour, like every other parent in LA does. The king tut exhibition was held here and the atmosphere ruined the whole experience. Why wasn't it in the museum of natural history?.. surely that facility doesn't double as a day care center.

The students enjoyed their trip to the science center to see Endeavor the space ship at the center. We went back the following week and took a ride on the spaceship. The students were wowed by its size. We went back to the center and made wonderful collages of the spaceship.

This place filled my childhood memories with amazing and unforgettable experiences. I could never not go again and not feel like I belong. It sparked my interest for science. Interactive, informational. The volunteers working there top this place off with their cheerful service.

Pros

Pros
- really cool exhibits
- plenty of bathrooms and water fountains
- lots of things to see
- many things for kids (14 and under)

Neutral
- not many benches

Cons
- some of the best demos were broken

Conclusion
80% of the center is mostly for kids but the remaining 20% is for adults. Taking that into account I would recommend this to parents of small children and adults without children alike.

It is a very nice museum for young and old. Several experiments to do for the young science schaopers. A large part of this museum is free of charge, if you want to go to the Endeavor you have to buy your tickets outside at the ticket box. If you go here a little on time, the space capsules can still be viewed and photographed otherwise you will soon have people in view. We have parked at the nature museum, from there it is a short walk.

Great museum. I highly recommend looking at the Space Shuttle (I went on a weekday and I was able to see it straight away with no queues).

The IMAX cinema is very good but bare in mind that it seems like there are lots of school trips during the week. The day I went, it was very busy and quite noisy as the school kids were talking the whole time the film was playing and the teachers didn't really try to stop them. If you find this sort of thing annoying then it could be worth going in the evening or at a weekend.

I give it 4 stars because its free to go inside the science center and rose garden. but I do not recommend you to come here on a weekend, on a summer day with a crowd. Its very crowded, not much to do and see. Everything is limited. Food in the food court is pricy. There's street vendors outside by the rose garden. They sell $5 hotdogs , $5 fruit, raspados etc. Alil over price to but good. I recommend maybe bringing ur own water and snacks

PS: if u need an ATM for parking. There one by the FC store. California Union Bank
