So much to do here and it's free! Love how they mix information, displays, and interactive aspects together. Was also worth it paying a bit extra for the special exhibits.

Very nice place children learn a lot ... There are several museums .... Admission is free except the place where the discovery is and the place to watch movies but this is very nice I especially recommend the aquarium ...

Always great exhibits!!! Their permanent collection/exhibits are free! Great place to take the kids or to enjoy the wonders of science as well as other natural wonders. The huge aquarium, the desert, etc. If you buy a ticket to the special exhibits, you get to go to see The Endeavour space shuttle for free---amazing! By the way, right outside is the Rose Garden!

Some exhibits here are always worth a visit-- especially Space Shuttle Endeavour!

The rest, tho, I would check to see before you go, at least as adults. Kids and families, OTOH, should always have a good time here. The IMAX always has interesting science/nature showings for kids.

And yes, there's an A-12 Blackbird outside for airplane geeks.

I loved the free things that you could do however, very pricey gift store.

Went there for the King Tut exhibit which was a great experience. There is a food court and a gift shop with some cool stuff. I really like the Endeavor space exhibit. Great place to spend a day.

Saw King Tut. Awesome but seeing the Endeavor was even better.

The tickets are free, but it closes early, so we weren't able to visit it extensively. The space shuttle is staggering.

There is always something to learn and new to see. Obligatory stop when visiting Los Angeles. Free admission, just a few attractions are extra.

Great place to hang out for kids. Adults can learn a lot too. Beware that the famous Endeavor exhibit costs $3 for entry. That was the most disappointing part of the entire visit since so many great exhibits are still free to see. Would recommend visiting on non-holiday.

Fantastic day trip! This inexpensive highly educational location will satisfy anyone's curiosity. Between the Space Shuttle Endeavor and it's external fuel tank to the iMac to the tour of the 1932/1984 Olympic stadium it will fill your day.

Great place but not enough under one roof, costs too much to go the exhibit but oh well. IMAX might be worth the extra $6 to total it out at $35.40... per adult. But as a member you would pay $29.99 for the same experience. Great place for kids, bring your wallet. And to take a date.

So much to see! Great programs for kids. Don't miss the visiting King Tut exhibit. Not about dynasties or pyramids - it's about the magic and spells the king needed to traverse the underworld. Really great!

Big museum with a lot to watch, play and learn from. Not just for kids!

Interactive exhibitions, very good to learn American vocabulary.

Good museum. Endeavor space shuttle is the highlight. There was a 45 minutes long Apollo 11 movie. That was also good.

It's a great and fun place to go to. Plus it's one of the few places where you can get up close and personal to a real space shuttle.

The place was OK. No hard feelings but i think it needs improvement. There was no wow factor. I hope this place gets new stuff and upgraded. This place is Good for kids may be but not for adults.

A great place to visit, lots of things to see and do must see

We spent the day at the Science museum mostly on the second floor. Picnicked at the benches outside. Ran through the Rose Garden, then went to the 3rd floor of the museum. AND it was only $12 for parking! So price effective and so much fun!!

I'm definitely going back for the Natural History Museum next!!

Have a good half day with your family. Permanent spatial exhibition quite impressive and informative. We appreciated the free of charge (allow $ 12 for the parking all the same)

Amazing place for kids! So many things to see and learn about. Clean place and it's updating all the time. Don't miss the iMax 3D movies.

The California Science School is perfect for kids to play with. There are very many parents with children on Saturday. There is now a new exhibition, "The Relationship between Dogs and People." The parking is 12.2 knives, and the science middle school is free to enter. If you want to see the space shuttle Endeavour, you need to buy a ticket for 3 knives. You can buy it online or at the door of the Science Center.

A very good place for kids to play and learn at the same time, they always have new exhibits. You will never get bored of this place because there is so much to see and do here.

There is no doubt that "I'm big!"
The person in charge at some places will explain and take pictures. The person who explained the engine was a former Space Shuttle engineer. I couldn't hear all the explanations, but it was amazing.
There is also a goods shop, so please use it as a souvenir.

Be ready to wait in line if you have a Groupon. Then be prepared to wait longer until a designated time when the staff let's you in for the exhibit....

This place is awesome. BUT it could need an update.

The plane simulator was a lot of fun. A great children's environment a lot of things to get them intrigued about learning. A really cool place especially when visiting endeavour!
