It's soo nice and cool to take pictures at. If you are a student I recommend you to take your student ID you get a discount. The are looks soo real and so nice. Recommend to go in a group so someone can take the picture because the workers don't really help until you are buying the pictures they take.

My kids and I love coming here. There is so much to do and it's free! Just be prepared if you want to visit the exhibits it can be a bit pricey. Other than that awesome place and very educational. The King Tut exhibit was amazing. A lot of what was there was stuff I learned about in my art history class. Really neat

Good place to visit, we went for the King Tut exhibit. That exhibit was good but misleading as they had the advertised the exhibition with his innermost golden coffin but that wasn t on display!!! We also visited the Space Shuttle Endeavour, an awesome sight. Loads of other things to see and interact with.

One of my favorite places to go with my family. Lots for the little ones to do, hands on experiences. The space shuttle is the main reason for me. Gives me chills every time I see it. I love picnics in the rose garden too.

You could spend the entire day here and not finish all CSC has to show. I would plan to stay at least the entire afternoon if you bring the family so that you can experience everything.

We were able to attend the traveling Pixar event and learned about their creative process. We got a behind the scenes look at all the technical challenges they face when making feature films. Great time!

King Tut!!!

King Tut!!!
Been here for Space Shuttle, and just to visit, but Tut is the very best thing I've seen here. Would recommend this place for any visit.

Such a fun place to go and bring kids. Went here for years growing up and it was super fun. Super interactive. Less to do as an adult but still things to play with and see and keep yourself entertained!

Wonderful place to bring kids of all ages or kids at heart. No need to worry about breaking anything @ museum because we can touch EVERYTHING. Kids love to.move around different rooms for different exhibits. I love the exhibits on environmentally sustainable tips and models. Wonderful way to learn with kids in the family. Also a nice trip downtown and see the changing Los Angeles neighborhood. Take the Metro. You'll be surprised on how much you can absorb the Angelenos' cultures through subway rides.

First time visiting and absolutely loved it! Went to see King Tut exhibit while still on tour. The artifacts are gorgeous and they don't mind pictures (with no flash) being taken. My daughter enjoyed the rest of the museum because she could touch/interact with things.

It's a great place to take the family on a free field trip. There are plenty of hands on exhibits and a little something for everyone. Best to bring a lunch and have a picnic out in the rose garden.

I went for the King Tut exhibit and was not disappointed. The collection is fabulous. The rest of the center is fascinating as well, with various aircraft and satellites hanging as both scientific displays and decorations. The IMAX theater is impressive.

Hi everyone! I never imagined seeing the Endeavor spacecraft in person, and seeing what we can find in space, but more importantly, we have a planet destroying ourselves and we can all save together.

Loved it! Spent the day with the family and had a blast. We took the Metrolink in and the stop is right in front of the museum. Some of the displays weren't working which was a bit disappointing, but the little ones just moved on. Just a reminder that we need to support the museum with donations, after all the admission is free, the food isn't overpriced like amusement parks, so give what you can.

I got to see the Space Shuttle up close and that on itself is worth the trip. While some of exhibits weren't in the best condition (probably because 5 year olds come in and destroy them)...it still has a lot to offer. Definitely give yourself at least an hour or two to see the shuttle alone. The staff all have some background experience with the operation of it and talking to them is a treat. If you have time, it's worth the trip.

It s ok to geek out here. Why? Because if you aren t than you are not human! Lol! A fantastic experience and a great place to enrich the learning of kids and adults. Museum does not cost any money, but some of the attractions do. Parking is about$15. We will definitely be back. Awesome place for a long LAX layover. Leave time to get back to the airport for traffic!

Send vulture and roadrunner to sanctuary! Shame on live animal exhibit and killing chicks once they hatch. Staff legitamizes their reasons for keeping animals in small confined spaces with limited stimulation and no fresh air or trees. Vulture looks sad.

The King Tut exhibition was fabulous. Can't say the same about the food court. I ordered a lettuce wrapped cheeseburger with no fries - trying to stay low carb. I found out from my table mates that I could have had a small salad instead of the fries that I paid for, but asked they not be on my plate. My order taker did not advise me of such a choice and it was too crowded to go back and ask for a salad. The lettuce wrapped burger had a 1/2 a romaine lettuce leaf on each burger side - pathetic. Please take a lesson from Carl's Jr. and In-n-out. They wrap their burgers in 2-3 layers of large iceburg lettuce leaves, so it looks like bun.

You can't beat the value of this place ("free", except for special exhibits, parking and IMAX movies), so it's a great way to spend a day with tons of activities and exhibits for kids of all ages. There are various halls with different themes and if course the space shuttle Endeavor is always amazing to see. A great experience when LA weather is at extremes and an indoor activity with A/C makes sense.

Only complaint, some of the exhibits are really, really dated and it shows. And, the accumulated dust and filth shows serious neglect by the staff. Wipe it down, California Science Center! C'mon!

Also, food in the food court can be a bit pricey and lacking in options. Consider a 5-minute walk alongside the rose garden to Fig. Street where you'll find a few chain restaurants like Chic-fil-a and Chipotle, to name a few.

Will definitely return again soon!

Went to see the King Tut exhibit, quite marvelous, well attended and full of artifacts from the tomb as well as history of the era. Then stopped off to visit the Endeavor , retired from taking space shuttles off planet..

This museum was really great! Admission is free and there is lots to learn! They do have some exhibits/shows that you need to pay to see, but even if you don't look at those, there's still plenty to do! There are lots of interesting exhibits and honestly, I thought I wouldn't be there too long, but it was much bigger than I thought! I stayed for about 4 hours and got to browse through nearly everything. My favorite part was learning about all the different ecosystems

Some exhibits were out of order and might be a little outdated, but it's free so you can't really complain haha. Fun for kids and for grown ups too! Overall, a great and educational way to spend your time

The place is great if you're between the age of 8 and 11 years old. The only reason the adults are there is to bring the kids. The only think I would consider adult level is to get to see the orbiter. The fuel tank is also outside and will be merged with the orbiter and the solid rocket boosters in the next year or so. At that point, you can call it the shuttle. Seeing the orbiter never gets old for me. If you're coming here, and your time is limited, see the orbiter first so that you don't miss it. Also in the parking lot is the A - 12 blackbird. It's very similar to the s r - 71.

Educational place with lots of information and displays on space, science, our ecosystem, etc. I really liked the Endeavor space shuttle on display and looking forward to the new gallery where the complete shuttle system will be on display.

This is a wonderful museum in beautiful Expo Park. I was thoroughly impressed with the size and quality of exhibits here. The centerpiece here is the space shuttle Endeavour. There is something truly amazing about seeing a vehicle that took humans into orbit of the earth. This is most definitely a must see for anyone who comes to LA!
