I came here to see the space shuttle. It happened to be during a football game and not being local I didnt realize that was a mistake. The Uber could not drop us off anywhere near the museum. We walked for 20+ minutes to get to it and at one point I got on the back of a Bird scooter with my friend and promptly got flung into the wind. Many people laughed. By the time we made it to the museum I was covered in blood and we were 40 minutes past our reservation time to see the shuttle. That wasn't a problem though, they still let us in no issues. The shuttle simulator was very lame and took too long but little kids would like it. I was able to actually look at the shuttle and take pics for approximately 4 minutes before we had to try to get to our next reservation, a doors off helicopter ride in Fullerton. It took almost 2 hours just to get an uber out of there and we missed our helicopter ride by quite a while. Luckily, the pilot took us up anyway, mostly because I was still bleeding from my fall and it was obviously an ordeal to get to him. Overall, 10/10 would do again.

So much stuff to discover here for younger and adults. Also it s very affordable and you can spend here the whole day. So many different worlds and topics; also they have a food court. Fantastic spot for families.

I went with the school field trip and let me tell you maybe the workers there just had enough of kids who knows but they were rude, bitter youngest angry employees I have ever seen in my life hahahahaha and they even followed groups of the elementary school kids yelling at them to not run and or don t touch or bounce a tiny rubber ball it was entertaining for me to see kids drive these young employees nuts. Kids will be kids and yes they do need supervision but employees need to just chill out a bit because it is designed for kids to be interactive. Even the two employees giving out glasses to the 3D show were angry and the kids were good standing in line lol maybe they should find other jobs working less with the public.

Had a lot of fun in each area I visit. But in the room I think was the discovery room, where my granddaughter played in sandy water. Was fun but I wished they kept the floors up. It was to wet and slippy when we enter/exit.

I was disappointed when I walked inside. I could see why the price was free. Dont believe the advertisements because they make the place look better than it is. If youre an adult who wants to see a few museums you will see this is obviously for kids. Lots of interacting things but nothing really to look at. I would suggest that you go next door to the history museum.

A wonderful place to explore for kids and adults alike! Free admission, but the extra exhibits are a little more. Very possible to do without the extra. We went as a group of various ages and everybody had a good time. Kids especially loved being able to pet the sea critters and look at the ocean life through the glass. Parking is $12 FYI.

This is a must go place for tourists who want to enhance their knowledge as well as educational trip. Endeavour Space shuttle is there. Watch atleast 2 movies in I max...which are about 30 minutes each. There is nice food court at Science center. You can have lunch.
The natural history museum is nearby walking distance of 5 minutes and you should also cover it. I recommend going early by 10 am and watch I max movies first as there will rush during the day.

Great museum, but to be honest I only come here to see the space shuttle. To be that close to one of our greatest achievements is wonderful! To bad they are going to elevate it to a standing position. I like it being down...you get closer to it than you ever could before!

My family and I love it here! There's interactive exhibits & it's fun enough to be educational but not boring for the younger ones. You can pay extra to check out the space center but you can still have a fun time without. Be prepared to walk a lot because this place is HUGE, with each exhibit taking up a good amount of room in the center. There's a food court here too since you can't bring outside food or drinks in but it's either tacos or pizza. Overall, it's a good way to spend a couple of hours if you want to learn something new.

Please, please remove your live animals from the displays - a museum doesn t require living beings. The bird that was confined in a cramped, artificially lit room broke my heart. These poor creatures have no life and there is no need for the cruelty you re inflicting.

I will not visit here again.

I loved it! There was a lot to see. I ate at the little burger and fries place on the right and it was good food for a fair price. The gift shop had loads of stuff and most if it was a great price, not those inflated prices you see normally at gift shops. I didnt go into any of the paid exhibits, but I still had a ton of fun.

Most of the center is free to explore, with the exception of some exhibits. Don't wait for your children to have a field trip to explore this place, take your children via the expo line so you can avoid traffic and the parking fee. I try to take my kids here at least once a month, and they always have a good time coming.

Amazing place to learn and see endeavour, but the exhibits are old and and some of the staff are very rude. I once saw a worker tell a kid to get out of line just because he was moving around (being a kid).

A good 35% of the machines are broken. All the machines that work are uninteresting considering the place is a 1st grader field trip destination. On the so called most interesting room you are not allowed to take photos.

Came here with my daughter to check out the Endeavour space shuttle... it was pretty cool. I couldn't believe it was free to enter the California Science Center as there is so much to see. Living in Seattle, our science center charges so we don't go that often but we donated anyways and it was well worth it. Check out the tide pool machine while you're there, it's impressive.
