A llot if things to do for kids. Science camp is great; there are many different subjects for different age groups, and they are hands on. The IMAX shows great movies.

Make sure you bring cash for the parking. But the science center is free and great for the kids. You have to pay to get a shuttle reservation but it's worth it. The Pompeii exhibit is really interesting but the kids may only like the gladiator helmets.
Nice IMAX theater show and Science Center for Kids are good, Seasonal Exclusive show are usually not that great !
Fantastic space for bringing young minds or just indulging your own childhood curiosity. Hands on experiments and multimedia displays capture the attention of patrons and employees alike. My personal favorite is the sub-level viewing areas of the kelp forest. You won't regret an afternoon spent here.
Fantastic experience. Worth the visit for any scientific minded curious person.
It's real science center, good for children and who wants to know new things.
I loved it. They was under a time crunch so o wasn't able to to explore the entire center bit the parts I did see we're awesome. I went to the space shuttle Endeavor exhibit and the King Tut exhibit.
Awesome place, lots to see (obviously) the space is great so it doesn't feel as crowded. Great planes showing and of course lots of information. Many areas for hands on learning for kids and adults. It was great, glad we were there to check it out. Oh and the rose garden out back is great too. Quite and beautiful.
The museum is great! Parking $12 but the museum is free. You just pay for the special exhibits. King Tut exhibit was awesome.
So fun for kids! Stone exhibits are outdated but it's a fun experience.
I liked the family friendly environment which encouraged interaction and learning.
What can you say when this place is free? Kids will have a great time.
Love this place! Perfect for kids and they usually have some type of exhibition can be appreciated by adults with or without children.
An amazing museum for kids both big and small. An impressive collection of space vehicles including space shuttle Atlantis. An IMAX theater, a walk-thru aquarium. A great place
to spend an afternoon.
Free and fun stuff to do for my daughter. The space ship is yuuuugggggeee
This place is amazing! See the Endeavor display - a must. The entry is free and adding 2$ tickets you get to see the space shuttle exhibit (but yes, the parking is 12$). Now in summer this place is visited by tens of camp classes a day. They just keep coming in, one after the other. Yet, the place is so big and so well maintained that it is not a problem. Come early as you can to minimize the crowds. In side the space shuttle exhibit see parts of the space shuttle and descriptions/movies giving more insight. There is a simulator for 6$, the kids said it was boring - skip it. Seeing the Endeavor and it's engine was mind blowing. We had a great time even more than the kids.
Great place. No info online though, the prices are not available online so when you arrive: surprise!!
So many cool things to see and experience! The dog exhibit is really great! Loved the IMAX film on the heroic dogs!
It's free, it's big, it's right next to the Metro train station. Great for a cheap date or family activity on a budget.
Typical science museum. Space shuttle is the key thing but it could be presented better - compared with Kennedy Space Center on Cape Canaveral.
Great museum! Saw the Dog exhibit and it was really good. Kids will love it!
it was actually amazing to come here. i learned so much and i used to go here all the time witb my family so bring them 100%. visit tes the huge robot girl because its literally so cool lile goodness. also they have like a huge food place where like anything you could rhink of is there. i would recommend to get a membership. also go see one of the movies in the amc liyerally any of them because they are all so cool lile i have seen 2. one of them was about underwater and the other was about robots and it was very cool. idk u should go visit the science center its so lit.
It is a fun and encouraging environment for adults and children of all ages to experience science. Me and my kids learn something now every time we go.
A wonderful place to learn and play - take your kids!
Great exhibits with plenty of displays and information. Also, lots of hand ons for the kiddo and adults alike. The parking is $12 but the admission is completely free.
This place is great. Tons to see and do, and the low price of "free" is hard to beat.Big however here....the fact that it's next to the coliseum however is an absolute disaster and makes parking and getting here a nightmare of unbelievable proportions.
Wonderful place to learn and enjoy all day. Pharaoh TUT excellent exhibition.
It was pretty good. A lot of hands on for the kids. The museum itself is free, but a lot of extras cost some money, including the space shuttle.
It was kind of boring but funleaning at the same time
I visited the Science Center for the first time since I was in high school. This is about 10 years ago. I have to say that the new exhibitions are amazing. The Endeavor displays are really interesting and the Endeavor itself breathtaking, everyone needs to see it. However, the older exhibitions, are in serious need of a makeover, or overall replacement. They look old, beaten, and about a third don't work properly.
Its good for a family day out. Closes early is my complaint.
Very good place and it's free (except some special exhibits). However, parking is bad. It has big parking lot, but the line to get in is very slow.
FREE! Fun for everyone. Interactive learning with several exhibits. Please be patient as some of the interactive equipment is in repair due to mishandling by museum goers. Altogether a great place for anyone. Please note: parking at the museum is $12 one time use.
Always interesting to see how stuff work in science center
Many of the older exhibits are broken and out of date. You can't beat seeing a real space shuttle up close though.
This is an awesome museum which has a lot of super cool stuff. I like it a lot. It mostly has things related to space and space exploration. Most part of the museum is free to the public, but not the parking. I really enjoyed visiting there.
It is in an excellent place surrounded by parks and gardens. The best thing is the collection of space capsules and the shuttle breaks it.
The Shuttle is one of the most fascinating aspects to the Science Center.
It is a fun free place to spend with the family. You get to learn about science and they have play rooms for the kids to play and they have a scuba diving show .
Ease of parking, many exhibits of high interest, staff always willing to assist, very easy to move throughout the building even with a large number of occupants, on site food court, and beautiful rose garden.
Impressive as it is so much information in one place. Experiments on everything imaginable, from physics to botany. A place to open the mind in the face of the possibilities of exploration of knowledge by the human being. It is worth spending a good time for those who like science. Whimsical value in the face of what you can see and learn in place!
Loved seeing the Endeavor and King Tut exhibit. Plan ahead. The exhibits are popular.
California science center had good and educational exhibits, but most of it were aimed more towards kids, which is great but not what we were looking for when going there. There were lots of buttons and cranks you could play around with to demonstrate the different sciences you read about which is great to get kids interested
I like space shuttle so much! Those engineers are genius!
Outdated exhibits compared to other science centers.
Lots of things to see for a museum setting. From seeing things free and paying admission for them. There are multiple options
Suitable for children. A fascinating space shuttle. When they realize the project of the building in progress it will be even better
Always great exhibits. The staff that monitored the line of people waiting to get in the King Tut exhibit was RUDE! They should either be trained better in how to deal with the public or be replaced.
I was thrilled to take my great-grandson to the California science museum and also to see the Endeavor. We had a great time .
Science Center, Space Shuttle Endeavour is inside, great attractions, kids like to come on weekends! The Natural History Museum is also opposite! But there will be a charge! Everyone needs to find this director, WeChat huangzong111
some of it was basic but the aquarium was wonderful
Great place to take kids! There are many interactive exhibits and it's free!
Went on a free day. Suuuuper crowded but educational. Gotta pay for the bigger excursions, we went when king tut was up on display. Parking is cash only
Love this place. My favorite thing to see is the dinosaurs, I could spend all day here if I read every display
Free exhibitions. Interactive for the kids. Space flight and environmental. Paid parking. Lots to do.
Very cool place , awesome!kids and adults all love here
Los Angeles for me is one of the best cities you have less good climate variety of comimida parks recreational parks beautiful plallas and many cities to explore
This place is incredible.
First of all, you may visit the center's permanent exhibition for free! (Parking must be paid, naturally).
Just seeing the permanent exhibition is worth the visit. The place is very kid-friendly, and really enjoyable to adults at the same time! There are loads of interactive equipment where you can have fun and learn interesting stuff at the same time.
Discover center is always a fun place for the kid's with plenty of hands on activities for all ages. I just wish their WiFi would be better.
It is AMAZING! Educational, inspiring, entertaining. Must see!
Lots of really cool exhibits. Take advantage if the 1st Sunday of the month and go for free! Plan on spending at least two or three hours there to see most of the exhibits. Go early. There's a large food court on the first level. Then, make your way to the rose garden on the north side of the building. Fun family day.
AMAZING!!!
Do you need more words!!
