I have been here many times, on field trips as a student and visiting with friends as an adult. The museum has free admittance, including the space shuttle exhibit. You do need to plan ahead for the space shuttle exhibit, because it requires a free ticket to prevent overcrowding. The exhibits are all well maintained, fun, and informative.

I would highly recommend taking children or out of town guests here as part of the Los Angeles experience.

Great place to learn stuff. Tiring if you're going to check out the entire place in one visit. Free admission and paid membership gets you some perks such as discounted exhibit and show tickets along with discounts on their stores, etc.

Love coming here with my son. We have a blast. He likes all the bugs and animals, but when we get to the space exhibition we are both in awe. He and I have to leave every time with a little souvenir

It s a great museum! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because there wasn t a lot of things to do. This place does have The Space Shuttle Endeavor and a big theatre, but it doesn t have as many exhibits as for example, The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia or the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. Great museum though!

The staff members in each area are so friendly and knowledgeable! I will be going back because I only had two hours before they closed. The space shuttle exhibit is INCREDIBLE and I loved the fighter jets suspended from the cielings and every area was interesting including the biology and island sections!

Interesting exhibits, especially seeing the endeavour space shuttle which was amazing. You can sometimes save money by buying a ticket for the imax, and getting free entry to the endeavour exhibit.

Lots of neat stuff to see here for FREE! Easily accessible by public transportation (Metro Expo Line) or if you like sitting in LA traffic, a car. If you have to drive, just remember that parking here is cash only!

Fun

Very cool location next to the old Olympic stadium. Endeavour (OV -105) was amazing to look at in person, and I highly recommend the Los Angeles history section as it is beautifully presented.

Very nice, amazing space shuttle, so many wonderful exhibits. The place to go to whenever you are bored. Whenever I come to California I just can t wait to see their new exhibit. Also has a cool gift shop with funny and unique products.

We went to the new dogs exhibit. It was fascinating, hands on, educational, and super cute! If your kids like animals (or not) they will love this exhibit. There are real dogs during the educational seminars but the one we went to was super crowded. You have to pay a few bucks for this exhibit but the rest of the museum is free. The new IMAX film about rescue dogs around the world is amazing! that s a little extra cash too but totally worth it!

Free to enter, $3 to see the shuttle (parking $12). Great exhibits to inspire any kid or adult. This museum is a gem and a resource for the kids of Los Angeles and beyond. The space craft exhibit has scale models of space probes and space capsules. These exhibits are well done and lit very well so you can see a lot of the detail these modern artifacts have.
I have always loved this place since I was a boy, and it still impresses me as an adult. Go, take your kids and enjoy this wonderful museum and Exposition Park.

Only good thing was the free entry.

Only good thing was the free entry.
An outdated and broken science museum in advertently saving pieces of 90 s tech. Most of the displays did not function and the animal enclosures looked outdated, small and torturous.

Best place to take friends and family, there is a lot to See and learn. You only pay for parking which is $12, but the entrance is free. My favorite part is the aquarium especially when they feed the fishes. The bathrooms are always clean.
