Quite possibly my favorite place--but that might just be nostalgia. It is a good place for field trips, hanging out with friends, and with family. It has many restaurants, smaller museums, and a rose garden near it. There is also some USC dorms nearby. If you either want to go in and learn some science, or walk outside and maybe sit beneath the roses, you'll love it.
Plus! There is NO hostile architecture in the rose garden, which means you can support it without the worry of supporting classist companies.

Been coming here since my son's been born and I can't express how much I love coming here. It's like part of the day for us to go here then end our trip at the natural history museum, staff is always being on point

Love coming here. Nice place and always informative. Alot of neat areas and very educational for the littles ones. If you visit California and want something free to do then there's plenty of free hings here. Only gotta pay for parking but definitively worth it.

A great free museum, special exhibits cost to attend. IMAX theater and the Endeavor Space Shuttle with the external fuel tank. Also in the same area are several other museums and a large rose garden.

Hm....a part for the fact there was a lot of park it is absolutely to be reordered in my opinion it seems I may say to hang around at the pier!!?? The Endeavour take a star for himself, (there is a giant space craft named Endeavour inside the building) and there is his tank too (outside the b.), and I loved the room where you can see astronaut's wc and kitchen and stuff. Anybody who loves space as much I do deserves a tour there

We drove 4 hours to see King Tut only to waste an hour in the most inefficient mess of parking lot jam I have ever seen. We finally did get the movie which was nice and then rest of the day waiting in lines and massive "cattle calls" of go-here-go go-here-go-up stars down stairs back around the other way and finally into the exhibit where you will attempt to rangle your way through- way too many people- to view the artifacts. By the time you get to the gift shop you've had enough. The commercial trinkets and -"sorry we only have a few t-shirts and we are lucky we even have those"- from the sales clerk sent me out the door and happy to be free of it. Don't bother but if you, do bring a lot of patience.

A place to visit as a family. The truth seemed very interesting to me, besides that it allows you to learn interacting with the exhibitions.
Recommended for people who like to learn about science and also nature.

Lots to see and learn especially abt our planet earth and the voyage to space. This centre is the home for a space shuttle named Endeavour. Most of the exhibitions are well maintained. Basic facilities available with easy access. There is also an IMAX 4D cinema that will show you a short movie for a small amount of fee. Ticket to the Endeavour is included in the movie fee package. Btw our earth is not flat, also the circle in the crops, ufos are just hoaxes ;D

The time to see the exhibition is very short, it is frustrating to wait in line for more than an hour to enter to see the pieces and NOT to be able to read the information of the exhibited pieces, because there is very little time that they give to be inside The exhibition ?

Loved it! The dinosaurs of the Arctic exhibit was great! We also got reservations for the endeavors space shuttle....so worth it. Make the reservations at least one day in advance. I have a special needs child and they are super informed and accommodating! It was a great experience and all of my kids enjoyed the day!

Free museum entrance.

Free museum entrance.
Endeavor Shuttle Tour $ 3 (Worth it)
I hesitated gave four or five stars.
I will have given four stars because it is difficult to orient.
But I will immediately put this star back thanks to the courtesy of the staff.

All the attractions are working, it's clean, interesting and my Endeavor shuttle bonus.

Looking forward to coming back with my kids.

Good

This is a MUST experience! The Endevour is AMAZING!! I visited Wednesday August 31 2016. Little to no crowds, no admission fee to the Endevour (off season and weekdays). NOTE: Parking is $12 CASH ONLY!
The Endevour is breathtaking

Long lines on the weekend and during discount days. Could barely get in to see any of the artifacts and had to hurry to get through so I could make the IMAX movie that was scheduled 3 hours after my entrance ticket. Get here early! Definitely recommend the audio tour. Made it easier to get info about the exhibit even with a crowd.

There s one word that in itself is reason enough for a visit: Endeavour. It. Is. So. Cool. If you re anywhere near interested in space travel this is a must-visit when you re in LA. Ample of parking space nearby, the science center itself also holds *a lot* of fun exhibitions and is as expected very kid-friendly. But the Endeavour, what an amazing ship.

It was so fun, educational and very well put together... However! The food courts has 10" pizza for $9 and don't even add ranch but if you order ranch at the Grill part they charge you $1 dime size container. Their is a sexual intercourse musuem part that's restricted unless you show ID, the thing is their is penises everywhere else. Also like any musuem germs are everywhere, please don't touch your eyes after visiting this place unless you want Pink Eye or the flu of the year tragic really.
