It was fun to see the space shuttle close up. BUT be prepared to share your experience with LOTS and LOTS of kids on school trips. It is wonderful for them to experience but hard for the 'old folks' to see all we wanted to see if it had not been so crowded and noisy. Still worth seeing

King tut exhibit was amazing to see all the artifacts. It could have been arranged better, for example one of the display cases had an English description on one side and Spanish on the other, but the Spanish side was up against a wall so it was not accessible. Further the museum it is in is a mess. An actual mess, there was a whole section that appeared to be storage, just open for viewing!
And worst of all they have a live animal exhibit. There was a bird that would just sit on the branch in a tiny glass cage for hours. It was so sad. Museums should NOT EVER have live animals.
I had the most wonderful time here! We saw the Space Shuttle and the King Tut exhibit and loved every moment of it. We also had a pretty tasty lunch - pastrami sandwich. The museum was clean and not overly crowded. Every staff member I met was friendly and helpful in the most genuine fashion, and it made the experience so much better. The staff in the tank portion were especially informative. My only complaint would be that you have to go to the second floor to access several of the exhibits that are on the first floor, which I found very tedious. They had stations for refilling water bottles on every floor, and AED devices in readily marked areas, which I really appreciate.
Great IMAX movies and science classes and camps. There is plenty to see at this free museum. There is an additional cost for short term exhibits, but they are generally worth the it.
It s really shocking to see the space shuttle for myself! There are many exhibitions in different areas to visit. There are many interactive and experiential scientific displays, very educational and inspiring, and suitable for adults and children to visit together
50th anniversary of Apollo 11, as amstrong said "It's a small step for a man, but a great leap for humanity", but that great leap was only to marvel at the power and majesty of who created the entire universe.
If you are disappointed with the museum because your kids didn't have enough FUN? then please keep your kids home and out of the adults way! All these brats spoil it for many of us. They don't give a darn about the exhibits just that they're out of class. What do my taxes pay for?
King Tut was a bit of a dissapoinment.no death mask or sarcophagus.thr posters all over the place show the distunctive sarcophagus.it was a bit of bait and switch.
It was a fun place to visit but being a free facility for kids and stuff a lot of this stuff was broken or well used to wear it didn't work anymore also it got crowded fast we enjoyed the museum aswell! They had a butterfly atrium when we ent!
Really loved visiting the Science Center. It's really big and has a lot of information. Don't forget to visit the Endeavor. It doesn't cost a lot to take a look here. You have also a parking nearby. That makes it easy to come and go away when you want.
Carls jr martin luther king blvd and Vermont, should be boycotted !!!! They will not give a paying customer water to drink with their meal....even customers with kids do not get some kinda courteous cups for the adults or children...the new manager excuse is cost....if you dont drink soda you have to buy a empty cup... When i asked about the price he wanted more than a soda costs like $2.00.... I have never experienced this at any other Carl's jr restaurant s...this is not a restaurant that cares for its paying customers....
It was awesome! I enjoyed seeing the Endeavor, the space Shuttle! It was huge! There are sooo many interesting things there! I would suggest going there when in the area down in southern Ca. Free to get in & well worth checking it out
Lots of activities and free admission...only small issue is that not all the "hands-on" exhibits were working (could have been maintained a bit better). Overall, though, we really enjoyed our visit!
