The dog exhibit was very disappointing. The IMAX movie was wonderful
the space shuttle, the items, almost everthing is in the california science center
Food for the brain educational ,thanks mom son your welcome
Fairly child oriented, and way too many kids summer groups for my liking.
I came to see the real space shuttle. I was very impressed to see the real thing up close. Inside the center, there was a recorded movie of the scene that brought the shuttle here, so it was interesting. (February 2018)
Really fun, i would recommend taking the fear part of the museum a visit. Its a little horrifying, especially the falling one.
Excellent place to take children or just go as adults. The Tut exhibit was really great. I just wish they sold a few less tickets because there are too many people in the exhibit at a time. The Egypt/Tut movie was interesting, but not as good as previous IMAX movies we have seen there. There staff at the theater are very efficient with lining people up and getting them in quickly.
This is my childhood! I came here ever since I was a toddler, and have never regretted it! There's facts about former astronauts, planets, games to interactive with, and by paying a little more, you get to join premiem interactive games!! There's also a playground in the second floor, and a store!
Had never been before. Ran out of time to see everything
For the prices you can beat it any where in california.
Great place, especally that it's free entrence. Great for families with kids
Nice place for the kids just wish they hand hand sanitizers available and more cleaners
Space Shuttle Endeavor exhibit is really cool. Impressive collection of early space program capsules.
Been coming here for years. Best place to kill an entire day with your kids for free. That said bring your own lunch to save more money or support them by eating at their restaurants on the first floor. Also don't park at the coliseum parking lot closest to the museum as they don't get any revenue from that parking lot. Park at the natural history museum if you can and support that museum with parking I think it's $4 cheaper. If you want to splurge I suggest and IMAX movie with popcorn and any of their paid exhibits our generally good. But all the free stuff is really good. Just remember it's not really free. The science endowment pays the overhead and staff for your admission fee. So if you love this place as much as I do and can be generous always support your science endowments or other endowments that support children learning.
My son likes to come here. And always enjoys his time.
Very fun place a lot of interactive exhibit. The Space Shuttle exhibit is worth its admission.
The California science center is a great place for the kids. They have satellites to parachutes, the space shuttle Endeavour their. Right now they have the tour of king tut you could view. So many educational things their that has to do with science. You could experience the earthquake room, about electricity. Fun for the whole family. This place even have an imax theater. Right across from it as your going in or out the African American Museum also. To see Endeavour it's only $3.00. With a gift store right their to purchase souvenirs. Great place looking forward to going back again. My 11yr old was in ah especially because he wants to be an astronaut. So this really motivated him.
Awesome museum. But like everything else in L. A. it's way too crowded.
Had a great time here, will visit again. Learned alit about how the human body functions
Free Muse on Sunday is voluntary donation and parking costs 12 dollars, very interactive
Wow is amazing. You have a lot to see from the NASA and the info about the space and some events that had happened in California about the stars and our universe. Recommended!!
This is a beautiful and interesting subject, but we found this museum still poorly arranged. We do not know if we retrace the history of the space conquest or if we are told about the different terrestrial biotopes. School children run around every corner and at every turn you are asked to pay to participate in this or that activity. Even the Space Shuttle finally badly highlighted. We would like to get closer to a bridge. No place to sit and watch the documentaries offered. This museum could do a lot better.
So much fun for me and my 6 y/o. We have spent all day here on multiple occasions. Stuff for kids and curious adults. The price is right too! (Free entry and $12 parking, or take metro)
I haven't been here since a kid but the body works exhibit is still fascinating. Should go if you have the time.
CSC is GREAT. Admission is free, they have good food options onsite, and their exhibitions are fantastic. Highly interactive, educational, and fun. The grounds and location are very good, as they are on location with a bunch of other centers/museums and the grounds are lovely. Parking is $15 I believe and that covers the entire complex. So, if you are going for more than one thing, you score. ; )
Although it is small compared to the Gwacheon Science Museum, there are other exhibits from different perspectives. In particular, the space shuttle Endeavor is a must see. It's not paid, it's free, and I didn't need to go on a weekday, but it seems like a weekend. There is a video showing the process of bringing the Endeavor to the Science Museum. IMAX next to it is paid and it's worth seeing. If you go on weekdays, you can enjoy leisurely.
Great place for kids of all ages to learn and have some hands on fun.
Amazing take your kids its free but donate if you can its for a good cause
I love the science center! Used to come here as a child with my cousins and aunts. Very fun because it has a lot of interactive material which helps kids Learn. There is a side that teaches you about the human body. Another side about the different ecologies of the world (sea, deserts, Arctic, etc). it is free but there are certain activities that may cost such as a theatre experience on the outside of the place. they have a food court at the lower level, a gift shop, and right outside there's a large beautiful garden of roses.
I have come on several occasions and I have always liked it, but the exhibition of King TUT is unparalleled; treasures, relics, statues, videos, in short everything is formidable, highly recommended, including the projection on the IMAX screen
My son loves this place. Parts are a little dumpy but overall it's free and amazing
See the space shuttle and other space program vessels. Lots of fun things for kids and adults to check out.
They have a touch tide pool that the kids can touch sea creatures in. Lots of tactile educational activities. It's also free admission (give a donation on your way in to help out, if you can)
Cool place to visit if you have children and cool exhibits
Super cool day trip to check out the space shuttle Discovery
This place is very interesting. I have went here with my class in 6th and I had a very fun experience. I looked at the displays of the space shuttles and also bought a space bear in the stores. Lastly, I watched the Touch The Stars 3D and it was so interesting and exciting. Places in LA are always the best.
Went here for a prom with my church. It was absolutely wonderful. Tour guides were everywhere and were knowledgeable about the exhibits. We were able to walk around the building and have fun while learning. There was an aquatic petting zoo area that was a big hit.
Was expecting more my husband was so excited to see it and he was so disappointed.
King Tut was amazing! The science center has something for everyone.
So much fun! Its free however 12$ parking and some events need tickets so you purchase an imax movie ticket and that covers you for the events. After the movie which was a great fun learning experience you are free to explore. It's Super affordable fun for the whole family ...it was an amazing experience definitely plan to go back!!
Love this place! Very spacious with something for everyone.
How beautiful it is to see the creation of our Father God.
If you go to the California science center you can see all kinds of things like movies.
Loved it!!! The Body Worlds Exhibit was life changing!!!
Fabulous museum!!! Go see the Sapce Shuttle and eat some space ice cream!
This place is great! They have such a variety of exhibits, there's something for everyone!
Great place for the kids , so many hands on activities , great atmosphere for learning with play .
Amazing place to see the history of technology also good for kids as the place has a lot of science related games.
You can see the space shuttle for only $2!
I was very impressed because it was hard to see!
Other areas are free of charge and special exhibition space will be charged separately.
For sightseeing from Japan, I think it is enough to see the space shuttle.
Only the 3d movie Jung made it so realistically, everything I experienced was full.
Amazing museum to visit. General entry free, $2 for the endeavour display. Parking is a joke at $12!
Fantastic displays. It's a place you need all day to visit and spend a day. We went on a week day and there were hundreds of school groups. Students from 4-18 years plus many adults. Suitable location for anyone to visit and learn. I was blown away with the displays set up, the hands on activities and the detail. Fantastic experience. Some add ons for special exhibits and some hands on activities but well worth it.
Loved it. Was brilliant seeing Endeavour. Very interesting
The big screen, big sound experience at the CSC IMAX theater is great. Obviously being connected to the Science Center, you're not going to see the latest blockbuster film, but instead, you'll see the latest and greatest nature and science documentaries. A fine cinematic experience.
Awesome place, took my baby brothers and i can honestly say that i haven't seen my 4 yr old brother enjoy him self so much before. Great place for the kids to run around playing while learning at the same time.
A real ferry? More than recommended for children and adults, you will not regret it.
It's free. It's been here for years and it's a good place to see some cool stuff.
Enthralling to see the Endeavor, Bodies is a good exhibits as well.
Fun place to take the kids and always free. Parking will cost you, though. Saw the King Tut exhibit and it was awesome, so worth the money but don't expect to see the mummy or the gold sarcophagus. The rest of the items are quite impressive though.
We had a wonderful day at the Ali for oa Science Center. We loved the Dog exhibit, the IMAX movie on Apollo and the Space Shuttle! Great Day!!!
