Great food! The best French toast I have ever had. Delicious fresh fruit and wonderful service. The only problem is the line to get in. Definitely worth the wait though. Definitely be there waiting when they open up at 8 because the line just gets longer as the day goes on.

We do not usually repeat places when we travel but the Fratelli Cafe conquered us and was worth 2 visits for various reasons: it is close to the airbnb we stayed in, it opens early (7am) and has impeccable food, coffee and service! They were very helpful in taking our requests, polite and kind. The coffee is delicious and the food then ... wonderful! Highly recommend.

Luis was super amazing. Since the moment he answer the phone, all the way till when I ask for the check. The food was amazing and if I was thinking about coming back, Luis really made the final decision to come for brunch .

My girlfriend and I visit here frequently. I have never been disappointed, and the prices are extremely fair considering the location. Every time we have friends or family visiting from out of town we can t wait to take them here. I strongly recommend the Mexican themed dishes, and the potatoes are incredible!

One hour wait times are defiantly worth the trouble. Once seated the wait staff is very fast and friendly, the cooks as well.

I tried the chorizo scramble with coffee, I was eating within 10 mins of being seated. Absolutely best breakfast in the city.

Love them, great food, coffee + warm service at the counter. I only wish they were open until late! It would be a perfect late night coffee & dessert spot in the area.

Popular local eatery, perfect for breakfast and lunch. Food is prepared fresh. Great omelettes, pastries, sandwiches, salads, etc. Vegetarian options available. Nothing has disappointed.

Checking in ahead of time really reduced the amount of time we waited at this busy, and apparently popular, spot. The food and service were both excellent. Highly recommended!

Brunch at this location - yummy. Service is consistently great. It has a great atmosphere.

Every customer suffered the same visible confusion at being seated and then told to go to the counter to order food. Chairs are extremely uncomfortable, and the coffee was absolutely not worth the price. There was a cute dog outside though.

Very very good potatoes! Solid breakfast burritos and eggs. Will definitely come back. Also, the store dog Venus is a welcome bonus.

TIP: This item isn't on the menu, you have to ask for it. Cold Noodle with roast chicken salad. YUM!!!

If you're looking for a quick bite that's good without all the fuss, you've got to try Fratelli's. A wonderful Melrose neighborhood place, I've never been disappointed. Good food, reasonable prices, and nice people.

If you're looking for a great cafe in the Hollywood area then I highly recommend Fratelli's Cafe. From the moment I was greeted till the very end the customer service was phenomenal. I love the service family own business give when they truly care about their guest. The food and coffee was great! I had a Vanilla Latte and The Basic Croissanwhich with turkey bacon. It was done just right!

Fairly priced and fresh food served with friendly service. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options. Nice patio area and dog friendly.

Very pleasant experience. Seating was limited to outside, but with the beautiful weather in LA, it added to the experience! Food was great, mimosas was served with fresh squeezed Orange juice, and the service was excellent!

I've eaten here a few times. The food is good but a little pricey. The place itself is decorated very nicely. People chill out with the cup of joe and work on their laptops. The staff is extremely friendly and very amicable. I would recommend this place if you just want to be alone with your thoughts and get out of the house

Great breakfast spot - They open early so when we first had our daughter we would be there at 7 AM :) I loved their Jackson omlette and waffles with nutella and bananas!

Adorable little cafe with a very nice breakfast. The atmosphere is really nice and the service was very friendly and attentive. They had a pretty large variety of breakfast items to choose from. I had the French Toast. The coffee was great too. Highly recommended.

Fratelli s is definitely worth experiencing ! Decent priced food and the food quality and taste is amazing. Friendly and fast staff, Mr. Abraham (the owner) and Ri were extremely professional and nice ! I came for brunch and I must say the orange juice was soooooo good, fresh squeezed. I ordered the cruzilito, which are breakfast tacos, and they were fresh and satisfying. All the ingredients were fresh, and cooked to perfection this is a HOT spot ! the wait wasn t too bad and it is counter service ! Gratitude, for a great experience

How could they serve prepared tasteless fare for breakfast? This cafe looks so promising from the street. It attracts handsome healthy people who obviously are content with their shot of morning coffee and the fresh tasty muffins and pass on the food. It's a rustic, well-designed cafe with a pleasant outdoors space and a five-star welcoming waitress who took the order with a sparkle of beautiful energizing professionalism and kindness. Yet the simple order of advcardo toast with poached egg was awful. It was so disappointing. I felt embarrassed to ask for a fresh offering. What a shame?

Came here for a hungover brunch with a group of friends over the weekend. Their portion sizes are huge! My entire group was starving and we only managed to finish half of our portion and took the rest home. Their omelettes are good; I got the mushroom one. I do have to say their coffee was a bit of a disappointment (but the portion for this is huge as well).

I got a dirty chai tea latte (chai tea latte with a shot of espresso for those of you who don't know what that is); it was very watered down. My friends regular coffee was pretty watered down as well. Other than the drinks however this place is a really cute restaurant for brunch.

I'll be coming back!

Chick and trendy and a little overrated when it comes to food. Great atmosphere and very accessible. They do not want me posting pictures of the place but you should check it out if you like Urth Cafe. If you want a better environment or younger crowd, you might rethink the idea. Parking is limited and street parking is hard to find at peak hours.

Very modern but still has a cozy vibe to it. Great food, speedy service! You can order a drink, and they'll have it ready in less than 5 minutes for sure. Definitely reccomend their wraps!

Nice brunch selections. All the dishes we ordered were tasty. The crossanwich stood out.

If you have a big party and planning to get the mimosas just buy the sparkling wine bottle it was 20$ when we went.

No better breakfast in LA. Staff, seating and choices are tops.

The food at Fratelli Cafe 's was delicious. The fried egg sandwich was amazing. It was on a fresh biscuit and had avocado on it...I would totally order it again. We also had a cranberry scone which was delicious. The oatmeal was fine, nothing to write home about. Some of the other baked items were good but not great (the muffin needed to be sweeter). But overall, great breakfast!!

It was okay . My french toast wasn t cooked well. Waited about 20 mins which wasn t bad.

brunch and the setting at this spot is very good. Definitely one of the best places in the area. Kinda of like a restaurant in Los Angeles I loved to visit.

Time for a little local urban exploration. Apparently this place has been here 10 years. The people are friendly and the food is delicious, how have I not been here before?!

I've been coming here for years and couldn't be any happier with the food, coffee and the service that I always get here.
My husband and I usually get the Everly's Breakfast Burrito, but I've gotten other items. Their breakfast burrito is a good portion and extremely tasty. I typically don't like french toast, but I love Fratelli's. It is large pieces of bread and not super eggy.
They use Lavazza coffee which is way better than Starbucks and they have a good amount of options for alcoholic drinks.
If you're in the area, you have to stop here!

They close at 3pm. I got here at 1:30, mind you I called 20 mins before I got there to see was it a long wait. I WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOT A WAIT, first come first serve Then got there and the guy told me he couldn t seat us because he had 30 ppl waiting but only 2 ppl in line How can you have 30 ppl waiting if it s first come first serve with NO ONE BUT 2 ppl in line.

Place was packed, but somehow quick turnaround. Nice staff. A little pricey for what the food was, but it was delicious! I wish restaurants would stop charging for almond and oat milk for a non-dairy substitute for creamer!

Weekday mornings are a little bit disappointing. You order at the counter instead of having a waiter, and the food wasn't the same explosion of flavor it was the last time I visited, which was during the weekend.

Brunch was great. There was a little bit of a wait to be seated but the food came quickly after ordering. They also had really good bottle service for mimosas (only $20 a bottle with juice). Definitely a go-to brunch favorite.

Fratelli Cafe is my favorite spot whether I m grabbing a coffee in the morning or sitting down for breakfast and lunch with friends. It s also great for a lunch/work meetings. It s Cozy and has a ton of outdoor seating that s spaced-out and shaded. The food on the menu is delicious too many amazing items too mention all, but Top picks would be the Jackson s Scramble with Potatoes for Breakfast; and for lunch the Friend Chicken Wrap or Tuna TarTare Wrap. The staff is really thoughtful and on point. Cannot recommend highly enough :-)

Love this place! Dog friendly patio, easy walking distance from my house and an extensive menu! I love that it is all day Brunch. I've been here twice and really enjoyed the vibe. My favourite item on the menu so far is definitely the Avocado Toast! They also make amazing fries and roast potatoes. This will become a regular hang for me for sure!

Good good a bit pricy, service not on a good level because as a customer u always deserve the best service even if the place is packed. Which it is on Weekends. So pretty regular in service.

We here during the lockdown to get some breakfast to go and they did not disappoint! The Biscuit Benny, Croissant French Toast, and the Chicken & Waffle were all delicious! My favorite would have to be the French Toast with the Biscuit Benny coming in close second. The portions are pretty large too, we definitely had left overs. You walk up to the door and the menu is taped to the window. You place your order outside, and wait until they call you back to the door for your order. Everyone wore masks and it was a pretty seamless transaction. I would love to try more of their menu next time in in LA.

We decided to go for brunch because I heard how was amazing is there. The service and food were good. We had different types of omelettes. The portions were huge. My Benedict dish was creative. My fried enjoyed his omelette as well. The coffee is also good there. Anyway, it was a good experience overall.

The first time I was here is on a restaurant week and since then I've been going back for the Escargot. I love this place its so good space is tight but doesnt really Fratelli Cafe.

This place is delicious! Everything they make from smoothies to cookies to omelettes to sandwiches to salads to quesadillas is INCREDIBLE. I love that they are around the corner from me. It proves that there is a God.

Nice place to have brunch, we had a bad experience on our order of chilaquules (don't order them) but the bitter experience was recovered by the Host. He asked how it was going so I told him about the food. He inmidietly said how He could make it better and asked us to order something else. He took care of the tab and made it very pleasant . If it weren't for him we were not have gone back. GREAT customer service. We will definitely go back. I just won't order the Mexican dishes,

Great food and good service! The wait time is crazy long and its such a cramped restaurant space which is why the 4 stars.
