Hello, I ordered a starter kit and 4 beer kits from Brouwland. The delivery came in a dented box, the yeast was loose in the box and a beer kit was torn. I could throw it away. Nobody responded to my email. I don't find it so tingly. Will not order anything there. After I wrote another email, customer service contacted me and wants to see that I should get a replacement for the defective kit. We were also very nice via email. That's why I'm now giving 3 stars because you can't give 3.5.

Brouwland's information should not be trusted blindly. Neither the delivery times nor the availability of individual products match the information online. The service was obviously instructed to ignore any questions about the delivery delay. By chance, of course, the hotline even went down. Reasons, apologies, or a gesture of goodwill could be safely forgotten. Brouwland gains advantages over its competitors candirect.eu and brouwmarkt.nl or onlinebrewshop.be with the falsified information on delivery times. I will not order anything more there! I could only save 200 liters of apple juice because other shops are more reliable.

very long to respond see almost no response to emails. Following a complaint about a product, it was agreed that I will receive a spare part, except that not having received the part I contacted the DPD transporter who confirmed to me that the parcel was reviewed by the sender at because of missing information on the delivery address. I have sent at least 3 emails since then without response.
After several orders at Brouwland, I can testify that the sales and shipping department are up to the job, professional, friendly and efficient. An order had been suspended the time of a replenishment (it's not their fault) after a phone call, it was sent to me the same day with a replacement product and received the day after tomorrow. I am satisfied.
Customer service almost nonexistent. Without news of my order I remember twice to learn that the delivery time is rejected every time ... I'm still waiting and it starts to be long! (1 month and a half) Otherwise good products for what I already ordered.
Following the answer: No reminder email has reached me and this is what I blame Browland ... Keeping customers informed is a minimum.

Good selection and have never had any issues with them after three shipments. Also, whenever I have had to contact customer service, they have always responded quickly and been very helpful.

I went to the store today and congratulations on entering all the hygiene systems for the covid were present. There were even masks for those who forgot theirs. Not speaking much Dutch, I was spoken to in French and warmly welcomed me. My order was ready and I just had to load it. Previously I had it delivered and I rarely had any problems. Super friendly people who are happy to help you find the right one. If something went wrong, they will immediately help (mistake in my order) we were able to rectify this quickly thanks to the good staff.
Personally, I am very satisfied with the service provided. The delivery error was rectified free of charge and everything was subsequently delivered under ideal conditions.
Very bad ! Broken bottles on delivery (they tried to charge me delivery for the replacement), unusable liquid yeast, false information on a capper and no solution or commercial gesture offered. It is much cheaper elsewhere and finding more competent seems rather easy to me
All of the equipment offered quite poor, in particular the high pressure filter which is not waterproof and which causes a large amount of product to be lost, which is very disappointing.
Nice shop with a wide range of beer brewing items, for wine making but also for cheese. From hops to brewing kettles and from starter sets to professional equipment. Good advice from the staff.
Customer service to shun. Indeed, when I unpacked my order I realized that a bad product had been delivered (with a value of 16 less). So I contacted customer service twice but still no response after 2 months. So I advise you not to buy from them simply to avoid their customer service.
Finally, after a few days the situation was resolved. Too bad you have to put a negative opinion to make things happen.
While I find it always interesting to read sprawling bad reviews, but I will limit myself here for reasons of time on Stichpunkte. Btw goes to the mail order, and the initial order was made at the end of November:
-DPD could not deliver my parcel to the PAKETSHOP, this was then unabholbar a month in the central warehouse. After contact with Brouwland and DPD (40 min wait in hotline) the package was then sent back to Brouwland. - With a co-worker re-emailing agreed, that was already in mid-January. When the order went out a few days later, suddenly missing various items. - Another coworker sent me an email and wrote that I would have to choose another fermentation vessel. She put a few to choose from and all of them were smaller. If other vessels of equal size had been offered to me, I would have agreed to do so, but this seemed like the height of disinterest in the customer. -Generally every contact with another seller took place, the language also changed frequently here. Initially, a hop variety was missing although this was supposed to be in stock. At the next "broadcast", then more. -I then asked for the cancellation. After renewed demand, I was also sent a list of the outstanding amount, which I should get back. Since you have a customer-oriented mail order company, the shipping costs were of course not mentioned, although the problems with shipping were not up to me. -Drotz reminder the money has not been returned to me. Invoice amount were excluding shipping 136 .
Update: The customer service had contacted me again and offered due to the whole problems a new order with discount and in addition as a gift of goodwill a Fermentasaurus (which has the same value as the entire order). I have to say that I'm impressed by how much a mail order company can rehabilitate itself and I would order again anytime now. Had it worked the same way, it would have become 5 stars.
Ps: What Joey has done by customer service, so that DPD delivers the package within a day, I would be interested too !?
Lack of total respect of the person in charge of the follow-up of our order by telephone. Tell me that I do not have to "demand" anything when they did not respect the requests for express delivery which were confirmed by telephone together. Result urgent order that arrives a week after, in standard shipment, and no solution proposed. I do not respect its commitments, I am very disappointed by the way brouwland treats its professional customers.
I ordered a Grainfather 3 weeks ago. It should have arrived a week ago. A delay is normal, so I kept asking how long will it take the delivery. The only answer I got, it is for tomorrow. It has been almost 3 days and still haven't received the product. I kept asking for a trecking number or at least I am trying understand the delay, but I got no answer. Do you think they are serious at Brouwland???
A real goldmine for homebrewers in western Europe. Excellent selection of ingredients and equipment. Will definitely have to make the trip again in the near future.
I ordered products 2 weeks ago and made sure to pick the ones that were in-stock to prevent any delays but my order still hasn't been dispatched. I had to contact support to chase them up and they told me that they were out-of-stock on most products I selected. They offered a 5e voucher on next order but that doesn't really help, poor stock management and communication :/

I am a professional brewer, I have several suppliers and brouwland is one of them. I have been ordering from them for 8 years and I must admit that the service is very good. the choice and quality of products and very good too. I often deal with Mr. Mendel Van Daele. It is reliable, fast and professional. I recommend it.
2 months after ordering and payment, they continued to postpone the delivery up to 4 times so that I eventually canceled the order. Brouwland then contacted me and offered a free product as a commercial gesture.
Do not buy hops and more globally things that fear home. The conditioning is not good and the saver thinks that a hops not properly evacuated keeps as well (beautiful proof of professionalism). The order being urgent and the costs of return to be advanced by the consumer (without guarantee on the terms of reimbursement) I have not made a return. Not a commercial gesture, nothing ... I should have listened to my entourage having already told me about the problem of packaging ...
PS: I go back the note taking into account the commercial gesture (pity of having to go through a Google notice) and other orders on products excluding hops that did not happen this way.
Overall, there is no need to complain. I once received a broken test tube which was returned to me quickly and free of charge. By cons, on 4 or 5 cartons of bottles (x12), there were 3 bottles broken by the carrier. On the other hand, delivery is quite expensive, even for light parcels.
Fast delivery, clear site and products are easy to find. Customer service is fast! High shipping costs for small orders, but those costs are fine for larger orders!

The remarkable number of references offered on this site allowed me to acquire quality equipment for brewing at an advanced stage (brewlonk 2.0 tank, two-roll mill, complete "maximus hoptimus" brewing kit, stainless steel fermentation tank, siphon bottling, ...)
It is therefore deplorable to note the total absence of information accompanying each purchase, whether small, large, expensive or not. The best you can hope for is an assembly manual which in any case turns out to be as rough as it is haphazard. No advice, explanations or additional explanations will be given to you on how to use it. Ditto for the information on the site. I find this intolerable on the part of a firm offering high-end equipment capable of varied and diverse use, leaving the purchaser without a written basis to start using and perceive the different functionalities. Finally, even the recipes of most of the kits (brewmonk, brewferm) are simplified to such an extent that they give rise to more doubt and questioning than if they were not present.
In conclusion, no more purchases planned from them for my part without an effort being made on this point
I had been looking for a new filter base plate for my Easybrew 50 for a long time. Nowhere on the internet. Until at the FB group Bierbrouwen I came in contact with D. Mendel. An excellent range. The site does not state what the shipping costs are. Frequently asked questions say: "To calculate the exact shipping costs of your order, add products to the shopping cart and choose a delivery country." Order of more than 200. = completed and the shipping costs turned out to be 19.95. This is a lot. At a colleague supplier it is above 200. = free. Well, then the choice is easy for me
Brouwland is an excellent supplier of beer brewing supplies. The knowledge and service is just right. Raw materials and materials are of good quality. Recently a complaint in which a reasonably new brewing kettle became defective. After contact with customer service, the complaint was properly handled and resolved.
Ordered an all-in-one brewing system and accessories via the webshop for over 800 EUR. When placing an order, I received a message that despite the indication, the delivery costs could not be determined and would be passed on the day after. Turned out to be an amount of almost EUR 60. In addition, part of the order was not in stock and, on top of that, extra payment had to be made for partial delivery. They wanted to give a discount on delivery costs, but the amount remained high. All the more because Brouwland offers its products for the same price through the Bol.com platform and delivery costs are included (free of charge). Also with partial deliveries. Strange matter and therefore order canceled in consultation. Payment would be refunded immediately. More than a week, two unanswered emails and a promising phone call later, I have not yet received payment. When ordering, payment must be made in advance, but Brouwland's payment morale for a refund is hard to find. Shady business.

I have been coming to this shop for years where you can buy just about anything that concerns brewing / distilling, etc. The staff (Mendel, Tommy, Ivan, and our Dutchman) are always friendly and helpful, they also have the necessary know-how. During the corona-cirsis I had to order online a few times, which is less fun, hopefully I can visit my favorite store again soon. Highly recommended!
Impossible to reach them! On the phone they hang up on me and no response by email or messenger, yet the message was read there .... My order has still not been prepared for days and I find myself blocked! I would like to order elsewhere but no way to have a contact to request the refund! If it continues I will take my car this week again and do the 120 km that separate me from there and I will not hesitate to say out loud and in front of all the customers present on site what I think! It would be better if my order was VERY QUICKLY FULFILLED or refunded ... If they don't want a scandal in their store ... What is certain is that I will never order there again! Company not serious at all!
Excellent range, although slightly pricey. Items are delivered incorrectly or broken, and customer service does not seem to be interested in assisting you with this. They also take plenty of time, waiting a week is what is considered "as soon as possible" at Brouwland.
- Update, as I cannot respond to your response, what you can control is to keep your promise to resend "as soon as possible" and not take a week. Vulnerable items such as glass bottles could also be packed a bit more solidly, I suspect this could have prevented the whole situation.
