I really enjoyed this place. It's quite large, with plenty of seating. Large windows make the place very bright and airy during the day. It has a very laid-back atmosphere, and the food is really good, too.

Great vibes and kitsch decor with skylight , fountain etc like an indoor-open space. Tried their Quesadillas and have to say they are the best vegetarian quesadillas ever had. Unlike usual pan fried, cheesy alternative in a regular Mexican restraunt, this dish, like the whole cuisine is very thoughtful and designed with health & flavours in mind- like this one comes in an egg wrap instead of flour wrap. The vegan brownie unexpectedly turned out to die for! Just too good..Perfect heavy breakfast for a hiking trip to follow :)

This was once my favorite restaurant. The decor was changed to the worst example of decor I have ever seen, not to mention really uncomfortable. The food used to be wonderful and creative. I was there recently and had the worst meal ever, The pizza was tasteless and boring. I wanted to try the fried olive dish but you are charging $2 for a pita, the tackiest thing ever. There was no offer of crackers and you had to buy the pita bread to eat your dips with. I could not have been more disappointed. Someone has completely messed up a once spectacular restaurant. BAH Humbug!

Cafe Flora is definitely the top of my favorite places to go for local sustainable organic vegetarian food that also has vegan options and gluten-free options! the staff is absolutely delightful and the food is just incredible!!! I'm a huge fan of the ambiance and the plant babies that live everywhere

After two visits I have to say I'll never dine here again. Both times, the service was so abysmal it was shocking. I was embarrassed to have suggested this place to my friends after our experience today. This Sunday, it took over 20 min and two requests to the hostess to send a server to us to even get waters. Orders were forgotten. The winter scramble had two tiny Brussels spouts and a few slivers of red pepper.... Not worth the price at all. A dish went uneaten without comment, staff should have checked if there was a problem. We never got coffee or water refills without making multiple requests. I finally had to get up and get them myself. During my first visit to CF, the server also was unable to attend to the table as is expected and reasonable. Cafe Flora desperately needs support staff for the servers. It's unfair to both the employees and guests to leave servers so over extended that they are unable to do their job at a basic level. We all left dissatisfied. Manager made a half hearted effort, but $2-3 off for each person really did nothing to make up for being mostly ignored for the two hours we were there. 1 star. Do not recommend.

A quaint neighborhood vegetarian/vegan restaurant. We visited on a Sunday morning which was also Easter so it was very crowded. The wait staff and service was excellent however when we got our food, it was not hot. They have a lot of great choices and their cinnamon buns are especially delicious!

Wife had the quesadilla. Flavorful and filling. She loved it. I had the quiche. It was pretty good. Interior too soupy. Crust too hard, could hardly even cut it with my knife. I prefer the quiche and Cafe Campagne. Interior very special. Like eating in a nursery. Loved it. Service was fast, friendly, knowledgeable, and polite. Will definitely come back, just not for the quiche.

Great vegetarian dishes. And service good. The staff is also very accommodating if there is something you would prefer other than what is on the menu as they can adjust some food items. Also the black bean vegetarian burger is the bomb, my favorite. All pizza choices and the French dip are great choices too. They have a rosemary/thyme lemonade you must try!

Hmmm... I really wanted to like it. But it fell short of my expectations. The server was very standoffish and barely talked to us. I could do a word count for her as easily as I could count the pieces of spinach in my pathetic salad. $13 for the smallest salad I've ever seen in my entire life. Plate was still visible between the lettuce pieces. Okay, enough about the salad...
But really... I was intensely disappointed. And embarrassed. I'm vegan, my husband isn't and we came here because it was my birthday. I wanted him to enjoy himself, but the experience left us wanting. I doubt we'll return next time we're in town.
I liked... the music? Damien Rice ftw? That's about it though.

Extremely good vegetarian food and most had a vegan option. They have a wide selection of drinks, including some alcoholic ones, and several custom concoctions that are out of this world (especially one with mango in it). The place is bright & inviting, though extremely loud due to the bare concrete floor which kind of ruined the ambiance for me. (The food is worth it, though!) The place is perpetually crowded, they don't take reservations (except for large parties), so our 11:30am brunch turned into a 1pm late lunch because we had to wait over an hour, mostly outside on the sidewalk since they have almost no inside seating for while you wait. With a total lack of parking, I was not in the best of moods, having to park on a residential street several blocks away. While the food was exemplary, be prepared to pay airport prices for it. (Our bill for a spartan lunch was well over $100.) Lastly, since this IS Seattle, you'll require an umbrella since there's little to protect you from the rain while waiting an hour outside on the sidewalk.

I LOVED my food. Great restaurant, but the WORST service I have ever experienced. The waitress was incredibly rude to our party of 8, celebrating a birthday. The bartender completely ignored me while I waited to order a drink at the counter and seemed irritated when I asked if I was in the right spot to order. I m disappointed because I would love to come back for the food and thanks to the service my entire party refuses to return (myself included).

So wish this place was better, the atmosphere is amazing. But been here 3-4 times and have been disappointed. Today is the last time I'll go... waited an 1hr for seating (was told 20 minutes tops). When they finally called us, they left us in the hallway alone till I asked where we should go. The food is always bland and soggy. My tofu scramble today was somehow soggy and greasy and the gravy tasted like they used vanilla flavored milk(?). The cinnamon roll as hard and tasted stale... positive the waitstaff is top notch super nice and I feel bad they have to work in a place with gross food. Save your pennies and go to wayward 100% better or go to plum bistro.. definitely better worth it food. Pretty bummed to spend 60+ for 2 people on gross food.

Relaxed and pleasant vibe...service was good it the food wasn't food. Cinnamon roll was overcooked and dry, eggs tasted like the came from a carton, coffee tasted was overroasted...almost burned. Cheesy grits were blended with a touch of heat, vegan biscuits and gravy were flavorful, tofu was under seasoned but the fruit was very fresh!

There is a great selection of dishes to choose from and dishes can be changed to meet dietary needs. It gets pretty busy during the weekend, so be prepared to wait 20+ mins for a table. It is worth the wait.

5 stars! Amazing healthy and delicious food, interesting menu, outstanding service. Menu includes turmeric milk, kombucha tonic, foragers scramble, lots of gluten free and vegan options.

Very comfortable but slightly upscale all-vegetarian restaurant. They have a good selection of vegan items as well, and are receptive to menu-change requests. Their seasonal menu reflects the produce available from the area, and their dishes are creative and well-conceived. Recently had tagliatelli noodles in a nettle and cashew cream sauce, topped with peas and pickled rhubarb -- yum! Good coffee and fun cocktails as well, though it's easy to spend a little *too* much money here. A good place for a date, as it is relaxed yet not too informal.

I'm not sure I have the words to describe how great my meal was here. The attention to detail and subtlety in the flavors set Cafe Flora apart from most restaurants I've been to. This, combined with the rustic-chic decor, made for an incredible dining experience.

My girlfriend and I split a pizza and a burger with yam fries. The pizza and burger had so many wonderful flavors that were new to my palate. And the fries are downright addictive. The portions were good and the food was filling, but we couldn't resist topping our meal off with some coconut cake. I'm not even a huge fan of coconut, but I was blown away by how delicious it was.

I had an unsuspectingly good time at Cafe Flora. The food wasn't my normal pick but my goodness was it good, and well worth the value. The ambience is wonderfully floral (Haha!) and is a great place to have a mid morning brunch and relax. The only downside was the food was a bit slow coming out. Otherwise great service, and kind hosts.

After a 20 minute wait we opted for a bar seating. It was a bit tighter than anticipated. Service was prompt, we had the Autumn Mule, friend brussel sprouts ( which were the star of the show ) the autumn panzella, black pepper linguine alfredo, and the chocolate tower. The brussel sprouts were hands down the best thing. The Co-Ed washrooms were a bit confusing and could use more attention through out the night and more privacy (cracks and gaps in the stalls)

When you first arrive to Cafe Flora you will notice all the open space and serene decor. It feels very nice. I was happily surprised to see on the menu block the restaurants goals. It gave a personal touch which was appreciated. The staff were pleasant and welcoming just as their goals outline. The yam fries were my favorite from the east coast all the way to the west coast. The rest of the meal was splendid. It was well portioned, displayed and just tasted amazing. Highly recommend.

I've been dining at Cafe Flora since the late 90's and to this day I still adore this spot. I love it so much, that I recently celebrated my bachelorette party here!

There are many great options on the menu for those seeking vegan and gluten free options. The cocktails are divine and the service is always warm and welcoming.

Being a vegetarian I was always limited with my choices in any restaurant. It was a wonderful surprise to find a restaurant that's completely dedicated to vegetarian cuisine with variety. The food was sumptuous yet affordable. I highly recommend.

We went on a Monday night with our two sons ages 3 & 1. The atmosphere is very classy and inviting. There is even a little play station for your children which came in handy when we were waiting for our food to arrive. I had the linguini and let me tell you, it was amazing! Way, way, way, way, way, waaay better then any Italian thick in cream dish I've had before. It was vegan and beautiful and simply delicious. My husband had the mango pizza and it was also the best pizza we've had in a very very long time--also vegan. Our boys had the black bean burgers and sweet potato fries. They were also very good and the kid burger plate was only $5 and we got to take some home as leftovers. I was thrilled to be able to actually order a dairy free, peanut free dessert since our oldest son has severe food allergies. We had the mango...? cake and it was sooo good and creamy. If you didn't know it was vegan then you would be shocked when you found out. It was a very yummy meal and a very fun family date. It is a bit pricey. Our meal for the four of us plus a dessert and tip was $65 so it won't be a regular for us but I'd much rather not eat at places that are inferior to Cafe Flora and save up for next time, then eat mediocre not very healthy food. So, yes, please go there and enjoy it in all of it's yumminess!

The menu was intriguing. There were many dishes that I wanted to try. I got the "Golden Stack" and while I found it wholesome it was a bit boring.
The room was a glassed in porch. It was cold so that was a drag (we had to keep our coats on) but it must be wonderful in the summer. Friendly staff. Seems like a popular place.

Arguably the best vegetarian delivery in Seattle. Their Caesar salad dressing should be sold in stores. The burger and sandwiches are well-portioned and full of flavor. I am not a vegetarian and I ve never been disappointed with my meals here.

Also try the desserts especially that coconut cake

I love Cafe Flora! The service is always fantastic, food, it's always great. Dinner and Brunch are fantastic! Love the Wellington, love the black bean burger. Even as an omnivore I find this to be one of my favorite places in Seattle.

Wow. Beyond tasty all vegetarian menu beautifully presented and unique cocktails served in an inviting open space. We had super friendly service and really enjoyed the tranquil outdoor patio. High marks for the Yakima Valley Polenta and Chocolate Tower!

My boyfriend and I tried Cafe Flora during our trip to Seattle. The food far surpassed our already high expectations after reading gleaming reviews beforehand! Everything is locally sourced and the flavors are like nothing I've ever tried. Admittedly, we came back the next day because we couldn't stop talking about how good the food was and wanted to try more off their menu! Highly recommend!!

Great vegan/ vegetarian restaurant! Their sun room is very nice. Food was great. Tasted clean. The service was good. They have a tiny parking lot. I parked on the street which I felt more comfortable to go in and out.

I've been incredibly blessed to eat at many of the best vegan restaurants on earth. This was good, but far from my favorite. The biscuits were excellent, and the gravy was pretty good. The cinnamon roll was enormous, enough to share among 4 people. It was moist and delicious. The French dip was good, but when you ask for it vegan they don't substitute the cheese with a vegan cheese, so it's a bit lacking, basically mushrooms on bread with an excellent au jus. I did enjoy it, but a better restaurant would have put an exceptional vegan cheese on it. And that's the thing, this restaurant has a very posh clientele and location and despite it all, it's not quite as good as the hype (and the long wait times). I ordered take out because I have small children and worried they wouldn't be welcome in such an upscale restaurant. The person working the counter didn't acknowledge me for 5 minutes till I finally said, "am I in the wrong place to pick up take out?" Then the women next to me that were getting coffee to go after their meal said, "that's what we should have done." I gathered from their tone and expression that they had been there a very long time. It's a nice place and I'm glad it's very successful, but I fear it may have gone to their heads with the quality of service and food.

We sat for Sunday brunch. My daughter being a previous customer knew to order the cinnamon roll right away. It was the last one! Oh glory to God! Beautiful, tasty and came with vegan frosting! I had the Colorado scramble and my daughter had the brussel sprout scramble. Satisfyingly delicious vegan fare that left me wanting to come back again.

Came in for lunch on a Weds. the food was splendid! The service was awesome as well! Love this cafe and can t wait to come back. It s well worth the drive from Preston. Christine our server and El the manager were both awesome. The Wonder Woman tea was special and I love the name. Haha
