The food is always amazing! They are working so hard to keep us all safe when we eat out.

It's alright. But the eggs reminds of military power eggs. Rumble tummy-fart city.
Empty tables with a wait. Then slow service at the table.
The food is very good though.
One of our favorite vegan meals we had in Seattle. We went for brunch and I had a turmeric latte and a tofu scramble spread. I left wanting to roll myself out! It was definitely worth it! Yum!
I understand people are trying their best during the pandemic, but the food wasn t good this most recent time (I get the same thing every time I go to Seattle). Some of the staff could at least try to be nicer. I threw most of the food away.
Great dishes, great vibe, great staff, just be careful what time you get there, the line might be long if you're late because this place is awesome and popular.
Cafe Flora is a unique experience. The menu has a variety of options and there is a interesting menu for vegans and vegetarians. The atmosphere was great however we lost a star for the value/dollar of the food. It was good, but pricy for what was offered.
Great vegetarian restaurant - great ambient and delicious food. Good for both brunch/lunch and dinner.
Had a delicious portobello wellington dish here the other night, which was so good, it was ridiculous.
Really friendly staff and the food was great too. I got the French Dip.
The chocolate tower is a must for all chocolate lovers. Incredibly rich and smooth, proportions are perfect. After the last bite your stomach isnt cramping nor is it wishing for one bite!
It's been a long time since my last visit to Cafe Flora. The bar is high for this Seattle standby, so I will hold it to that standard.
While my Mushroom Wellington was fine, I'm unclear why it was called a Wellington vs. a mushroom pie. It certainly was not the most original or best vegetarian entree I've had in the last 12 months. Service was satisfactory but not stellar.
Letdown...I'm looking for either better execution or more of a comfort food factor or at least engaging servers that recent diners have praised. I will try a different vegetarian restaurant in Seattle next time I have veggie guests visiting.
We enjoyed a delicious brunch here. The food was very tasty and the service was fun and attentive. Can t wait to go back!
Great food, made for taste, with great use of herbs
Great good, great service. The vegan brownies are to die for.
I'm not usually a fan of vegetarian restaurants, but this one was excellent. Especially the deserts are worth a look.
Small menu. Delicious dishes. Prompt and kind service. Excellent ambience.
My food was delicious! Thank you! I ordered the coconut cake, rosemary lemon drop and the Yakima valley polenta for my Quarantine dinner at home 1 year wedding anniversary. I am grateful there are vegan options! I'll be ordering again.
Its a great place even if you're not vegetarian or vegan! Ok, so you have to do without bacon - you'll survive. Their spin on eggs Benedict was very well done: perfect runny eggs, potato ladke instead of English muffin, and an interesting hollandaise sauce that you'll have to try for yourself (but you'll love it! ) This was not our first time there - we go about once a month and have never been disappointed. Oh, and Stump Town coffee.
Beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. The food was amazingly seasoned. The seasoned breakfast platter had garlicky veggies that melt in your mouth. Topped off with mimosas, great way to start off a Saturday.
So.... a great restaurant for vegetarian/ vegan peps but the if you are moderate to super hungry DONT GO HERE! The reason is the restaurant is big af but they won t sit you and take your name and make you wait although the restaurant has plenty of space ! And this is very fustrating.
Everything at Cafe Flora is solid. And the pomegranate rose fizz and Earl Grey creme brulee are delicious!
AMAZING food/desserts and really sweet waitress!!! The ombionce is beautiful too. We really love this place!!!
I am a vegetarian and my husband is not, but we both love the food here. The portions can be small compared to the price, hence the 4 stars instead of 5, but its kid friendly and always yummy. Downside is there is usually a wait especially for weekend brunch, so make reservations or go on off-peak times
Delicious and haven't had a dish I haven't liked yet. Great restaurant if you want to try some tasty vegan/vegitarian food.
Went here for the first time. The place is large and clean. I m not a vegetarian nor a fan of vegetarian food. The hot chocolate was amazing and sadly the pizza was sold out that day along with yam fries which I was looking forward to trying. The burger and pasta was okay as it wasn t anything I tried before. The dessert was pretty good, my favorite was fudge brownie dish. We did come 1 hour before closing. The was street parking in the back and a 6 car parking lot to the side that was full.
Unfortunately our experience last night was not as good as in the past. The service while pleasant was slow and rather unconcerned. Our dinners took a very long time coming out and when they did a couple ( the taco dinners) were not hot while mine was steaming hot. But it's a Seattle classic and normally one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the city, so I will definitely go back. I just hope this was just an off night.
I am not a vegetarian or vegan, but I still love the food and atmosphere here. The staff is always great, and you can easily find street parking.
This place is cute and has a very inventive cocktail menu. The food is decent and some dishes are definitely better than others. Great vegan option. Can get pretty crowded and busy. Service is good.
Love the food. The service was super slow on our last visit.
great restaurant. they serve mostly vegan and vegetarian fare. the food is delicious and you leave the restaurant feeling like you actually ate something healthy.
Oh my god!! Best food I ve had in years!
Get the Black Bean burger
& Nick (Server)
Great vegetarian food to the point I didn't realize I didn't have any meat
I had a bad experience there. The staff was so rude.
The cauliflower pizza was meh. I love their floret at seat. Though
Excellent food, good service. Likely the best vegan friendly restaurant in Seattle.
If going here on a weekend, brunch is totally worth it, but call ahead to ask for wait times and to get your name on the list.
Amazing and unique coctails utilizing house infused liquors and fresh flora.
Amazing!!!! Can't go wrong with anything in the menu. I went with mixed company, some of whim were very skeptical about enjoying a "vegetarian" restaurant, and they were delighted.
Overrated vegetarian food. Sure the service is great, the plating of food is beautiful. But the taste just sucks. It's too bland!
Had the pizza. "Holy Toledo!" as the Italians say. Everyone liked what they ordered, service was great and the ambience was as well
I have a really severe medical condition that gives me an intolerance to multiple foods, and this place has 100% earned my trust. Its really hard to find a good restaurant that avoids cross contamination at all costs and this place does exactly that. I highly recommend if you are celiac, gluten sensitive, lactose intolerant, or soy free. These people know their stuff!
I can t believe I haven t reviewed my fav spot in Seattle yet. This is my go to spot for Brunch, Dinner, Drinks, Desserts, you get the idea. Lovely staff, amazing food, creative and seasonal menus make the experience extra special. Love their waffles, burger ( dinner), golden milk, kombucha and more :)
I've been a vegetarian all my life. This was one of the most underwhelming meals ever. Save your money and skip this one. You are not missing much.
Vegetarian for grown ups. We had portabela Wellington and golden vegetable stack the Wellington came with cauliflower, broccoli and a pretty good chunk of mash potatoes. The sauce had enough spice to it to add a little snap. The vegetables of golden color in the he stack were butternut squash, yams
The family and myself visited this highly recommended spot while on vacation. From the moment we first walked in, we could tell this place was special. There are two dining rooms, one indoors and one with huge windows to allow for open air dining. We dined for brunch. The options were phenomenal. Anything from Cajun grits to blueberry lemon pancakes. Several options are gluten free and/or vegan free. All items are vegetarian. Any item(s) you choose, you will not be disappointed. I highly recommend the Alkalizing Vitamin C Kombucha Tonic! It is made locally and ON TAP! Great way to get your body going for the day!
Solid fries. Great Italian burger. Really really good mango smoothly drink. Waiter knew the menu and how to read the table. Will be back again.
Very tasteful options and great staff. Selection is limited but everything is prepared with good ingredients. Food is full of freshness and taste.
Their parking is super tiny and street parking is mostly full. We parked in the paid parking which was cheap, like $2.79 for 2 hours.
They have coffee for free and ample seating area.
This was literally the worse brunch I ve had in Seattle. The Tofu was hard, overcooked and over seasoned. The same with the greens, overpowered by some weird garlic flavor. Roasted potatoes were dry and cold. And the pancakes were gummy and chewy. Definitely would not recommend. Super expensive as well wish I could give negative stars
Best breakfast joint in town and totally vegiterian and vegan friendly.
Great flavors even though its vegetarian/vegan. Open and light. Easy to talk.
Amazing meatless/vegan cuisine. Try the gluten free scones (served only during weekend brunch time, sadly!) And they have an incredible kombucha mocktail drink thats SO TASTY! Mmmmmmm! Thanks to my dad and stepmom, Sarah, for treating me to Cafe Flora. Its just plain unforgettable! <3
The room with plants and running water in the middle is always a special treat besides the super yummy healthy food.
For the vegans and vegetarians out there who would love delicious food. This is the place for you! I ve been wanting to try this place for the longest time and I m NOT vegan JFYI.
My friend and I took the #11 bus from Capitol Hill and dropped us off right in from the restaurant (+ in my book!).
We didn t have to wait long to get seated when we arrived around 10am and maybe 10 min max wait.
I ordered a drip coffee - served right away with water.
Placed our order in less than 10-15min. Ordered the asparagus scramble (made vegan - so tofu instead of eggs) and the banana buck wheat pancakes (also VEGAN) - because my friend is Vegan
Why I didn t give 5 stars - great tasting food but it took OVER 35 minutes to get our food and I swear the people seated after us (party of 4 vs the 2 of us) got their food first before we did
The service could use some improvement.
I love the sun lit dining room and plant filled atrium. The food is wonderful, especially breakfast.
This place has the best falafels hands down. It's a small place nestled in Civic Center with not a lot of seating. But the quality and flavor they provide is bar none. I honestly don't know anywhere else that can top their pitas.
Vegetarian/vegan, tasty menu, good beers and Fancy cocktails.
I'm happy that over time the pretentiousness of its past has toned down to a more family-friendly atmosphere. The food is good, and the portions are generous. It gets very crowded for weekend brunch for good reason.
To start off the service was off-putting. We did not feel welcomed nor accepted as well as ignored by our server on several occasions. The cocktails we ordered sounded great, but were very disappointing (and not worth $10 a piece). The food was unmemorable and also over-priced. In conclusion, the only thing we actually enjoyed was the decor of the restaurant..which was not worth the visit.
We went to Cafe Flora for brunch on a Saturday. We were seated fairly quickly but ended up waiting almost an hour to get our food. The food was okay but not great, the restaurant is definitely not worth the wait.
Love this place and their staff! Had a cinnamon roll which was amazing as well as one of their specialty cocktails that was the definition of special (they froze little berries in their ice cube!). Highly recommend, esp. for those looking for delicious veggie options (vegan and vegetarian available!). Try sitting in the side room with the fountain, it's a great ambience! Enjoy!
Maybe my favorite restaurant in Seattle. The breakfast food is so delicious. I love love the beignets.
The ambiance is lovely, but the vegan food is hit and miss. When the food is good, it is really good, but when it's bad, it tends to be quite bland and confusing. The brunch is the best for vegans, in my opinion.
I like to have weekend brunch there: a lot of people, busy waitresses, good food, green plants around, interesting paintings on the wall, thoughtful writings in the loo - feels like a home for a big family, that come to one place every weekend morning.... Hoppin' John Fritters, scrambled tofu, and late are my favorites. I have Flora cookbook, now I know their secret of delicious scrambled tofu too.
Finally, able to get in for brunch on Saturday. OMG! AMAZING! Avocado toast with beets and pistachios. Vegan biscuits and gravy to...die...for! You won't be disappointed.
Even if you aren't vegetarian/vegan, the food is so delicious, you won't even miss meat/ dairy. Decor is very pleasant/soothing with all the greenery and natural light. If you go for breakfast, try the cinnamon roll, perfect amount of warm, spicy cinnamon, and vegan to boot!
A lovely location for intimate brunch or lunch, with plenty of seasonal items and vegetables done to perfection. Expensive but worth a splurge on a dreary day. Take your food in the greenhouse if you can!
