My 4 year old needed a Covid test and, though not fun for anyone, he did really well thanks to the staff here. They were on time, quick, and the person doing the testing, Michael, was so wonderful with my son and made him laugh and get through the nose swap. Definitely recommend this location, especially if you have little ones needing a test.
I was recently in need of medical care and visited the AFC Urgent Care in Burlington. The staff was warm and welcoming upon my arrival. Jess helped me to fill out the needed paperwork correctly and was very professional while providing me the medical care I required. The facility was also spotless from the waiting room to the examination room. I would recommend this AFC urgent care to friends and family alike.

I rarely visit any kind of Doctor, but with a recent tick bite and Lyme symptoms I visited Doctors Express in Burlington. I can't say enough good things about the medical professionals at this location. Everybody on staff was so kind and the Doctors took a lot of time to make sure the proper tests were performed. I came back for a second visit after some of the Lyme like symptoms returned and again the staff took such good care of me and stayed late after close to thoroughly test for what is making me feel sick. They even set me up with an appointment to see a primary care physician close to me. Thank you all so very much. If I hadn't come into this location I'd probably have waited until I was forced by a family member to go to the E.R.
AFC Urgent Care, Burlington is, by far, the most convenient and efficient way to get treated. The staff is friendly and Knowledgeable. Even if you re seeing somebody you ve never seen before, you re treated as though you ve been their patient for years. The waiting area is clean, comfortable, and there s coffee, tea, and water. I can t say enough positive things about them!

Very easy to get tested. Pulled up, called in, and the NP came out promptly to swab us. We had results within an hour or so via email.
I went yesterday (10/21) to get a walk-in, pre-employment physical and when I got to the door the 1st woman to see me asked me very politely to wait in my car and someone will be right with me. Someone was in fact right with me and she helped me set up my appointment on their website. They unfortunately didn t have any appointments for the current day so I just booked it for the next day (today 10/22) and when I went there today I just called the number to confirm I m here for my appointment. Then a healthcare provider came out to my car with the appropriate paperwork to get the physical done, once I was inside they performed the physical and I was in and out of there. This place is the epitome how an AFC should be run and I really appreciate these frontline workers for all that they do. A perfect 5 out of 5 is an understatement.

I went to AFC Urgent care today for a covid test. The service was excellent and the wait time was fast. They were Very nice And explained the procedure before they did anything. Quick and easy to make an appointment online fill out all the forms needed for your visit right online then drive up for your test it was so easy and I got my results back within a few hours!
Visited the Burlington site for a covid test & was so impressed with the staff. Especially the nurse who administered the test (I wish I got her name!). She was so kind & had such a joyful positive attitude. Made what can be an unpleasant experience so easy.
Went to AFC Burlington to have a boil drained. The customer service was impeccable. Previously that day I went to lahey clinic walk in care and the woman there sent me home saying that put a warm compress on and take some pills after she barely looked at it. I wasn't happy with that answer so I went to AFC, where they addressed the problem the right way.
I hurt my left foot on Friday; it wasn t better Saturday AM, so I went to American Family Care s website and booked an appointment. Easy process. I showed up a few minutes early,, was greeted like a long lost friend (and I ve never been to their facility before). Filled out the obligatory paperwork, then sat down. I figured I better look around for a magazine to read, as I was sure I d be in for a long wait. Before I could even look around, my name was called, and I was escorted to a room, and the long lost friend treatment repeated itself for vital signs taking, an examination, an xray, and fitting of a support sandal and explanation of what to expect and what to do. Going to an emergency room on a weekend for the same problem would have taken much longer.

Went here bc my kid was sick Friday evening w possible strep throat. They are so nice. Coffee and water in the waiting room (though they took us in so fast I didn't get to them), movies while we waited for the doctor. Beats ER or Minuteman Clinic. Plenty of parking.
Made an appointment online, came in 15 minutes before appointment. On the board inside it said my name and that I needed to check in. After I checked in, the board said my wait time is 0 - 5 minutes. The next person s wait time was 5 - 10 minutes. (The woman at check in was pretty bitter). After about a 10 minute wait, they called in the person after me and my wait time on the board suddenly changed from 8 - 13 minutes. When I approached the bitter one, she ignorantly explained that it is what it is, this is how check ins translate onto the board , whatever that meant. After another 15 minutes, I was called in. The nurse took my vitals and then another wait began. I could hear the doctor in the rooms next to mine. It is now 5:30 (my appointment was at 4:30), and still no sign of the doctor. Can t wait to get their survey! Typed all this while waiting. Oh and I watched two episodes of Flip or Flop on HGTV so far.... the next one is about to start ...
This place is joke. The PA is not helpful at all, offers no solution, has zero empathy for her patients. She and this place are a disgrace to the medical community, a very clear example of the problem with our healthcare system. In my opinion this lady should have pursued a different career path as helping people is not something she excels at. They are however, first class at taking your money for nothing.
We came in for a COVID test (required for school). First of all, this may be the only place out of many places listed on the Massachusetts government web site for COVID testing sites that actually has slots available when you need them (and not in weeks), allows you to make an appointment (instead of telling you to show up and wait as long as needed), and gives the results back quickly. Ours were ready in 2 hours. The staff were super nice and professional. Highly recommended.
I love the professionals here! My family members and I have been several times. Very friendly and caring doctors. Smart and focused on the patient. Last night my sinus infection was getting worse fast, a snowstorm was coming today, and I knew my primary care people are generally difficult to get on the phone or to see conveniently. It was so very convenient to drive to a bright friendly ultra clean and efficient office conveniently across from the Burlington Mall next to Barnes & Noble. I arrived at ten minutes of eight in the evening. They close at eight but they were happy to see me even though I was slipping in at the last minute. I love this place! Nice doctor, young women, smart and on top of her game. I paid with Medicare supplement no copay, magic. I'm obviously over 65, and the other patient thee was a two year old with his very sweet mom.

It was VERY hard to get them to pick up the phone. The COVID tests took way too long to come back. Very bad communication. They told us to call them back at 5:30 and we called them and left messages a hundred times but they never picked up.

It's really as great at everyone says! First visit and I was in and out in 30 min. New patient registration, check in, vitals, lab work, met with the doctor, and discharged in 30 minutes!! I would highly recommend AFC for COVID testing. My husband and I made our appointments on the internet. The appointments took only a few minutes and we got the results back in less then a hour.

I went to see the doctor because I thought I possibly had the flu or some sort of respiratory problem. It turned out I had bronchitis but the doctor didn't check thoroughly enough to diagnose it. While the doctor, the staff, nurse, and were all very nice, I didn't feel it was worth the $300 visit to just get an ibuprofen. I still had to get a second opinion.

Appt at 11:50. Staff came out to my car at 12. They were kind, did the long swab on both nostrils, easy and not super invasive. Got my results at 1:19. Thank you for making a very stressful event so much easier.

I had a Rapid Covid test performed yesterday around 2:15. Did not receive a result email until 6:43p and noticed the time stamp on the result was 4:46pm. Isn't the point of having a Rapid test that the patient be notified rapidly as well? I had plans that I had to cancel because I was awaiting the results. I'm not a review writer at all but this experience was very disappointing.

Great experience getting a rapid Covid test here! Made an appointment online on a Sunday for the following Tuesday. Showed up at the time of the appointment and got tested right away from my car. Got the results 2 hours later. Staff were friendly and efficient
I was at AFC Burlington for a virus test. Very quick test- was there maybe 5 minutes and test was not unpleasant as I had envisioned. Gina the Nurse Practitioner was extremely friendly and kind and very efficient. Great experience.
The staff was extremely professional, friendly and I wouldn't think twice about returning and or referring someone in the future. I can only hope that the next time I deal with such a wonderful group as who I dealt with today it's not based on me getting into a motor vehicle accident. I have to say, my family loves AFC Urgent Care Burlington! The team there is wonderful! So welcoming and professional. And my wife and I have 5 children all under 10, and the staff know exactly how to interact with each of them on a friendly and fun level, to get the procedures done in a timely and loving manner! My children love especially Allie, Carrie, and Gina! These women are "most professional", they are a great asset to this company and especially this location!

By far one of the worst experiences I ve had an AFC urgent care. The PA I got was not welcoming and was super rude. Throughout my visit she was rolling her eyes at me which I could clearly see. Please do not become part of a practice of helping folks if you clearly are not friendly and are just in it for the money.
STAY AWAY!!!!!! My initial experience was quick and easy, when I went home and continued to have problems I called for guidance on my situation and was told they couldn't do anymore for me that I should see a podiatrist for gout. Rather than help me with the extreme pain I was in they pushed me away. Dr Leslie Cioffi was extremely unprofessional in admitting she prescribed me something she doesn't normally prescribe (prednisone) and had a hard time answering my questions. When I questioned seeing a podiatrist she called me "fresh" and hung up on me. This is not the care I would expect from any patient service and would not recommend them to anyone. In the past I've been to the ER and they've treated my gout situation with proper care and treatment and hasled me back on my feet right away. It's been 3 days and my condition has worsened only to now be told to call my primary care and get a referral to a pediatrist. They've done nothing but put me on the wrong meds and lengthen the pain and discomfort I'm feeling. STAY AWAY!
I ve gone here for various reasons (ex. sinus infection, strep throat, etc) and they have been fantastic. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the dr s are thorough and extremely helpful. I ve recommended this site to friends and family and will continue to do so! So glad to have this down the street instead of waiting for a PCP appointment.
I wish there was something more than 5 stars to give AFC in Burlington. The ability to step in there and get immediate care is priceless. In the past two weeks both my boys have needed some medical attention and it was on off hours from their primary care. AFC was there, the staff was courteous and most importantly knowledgeable in what they were doing. An outstanding team.

My husband and I went to this location today for Covid tests. The two woman working there were absolutely wonderful ! The test was fast and quite easy. Got results back in less than an hour. Highly recommend this location
Quick efficient care. I was in and out with my 10 month old daughter in 39 minutes and everyone was very nice! The place is very clean and organized as well.
My husband and I arrived early for our appointment and were immediately checked in and interviewed (virtually). Within minutes, a medical worker (Toni) came out to our car and took our temperatures and performed the Covid test. The test was easy and efficient. All in all, the whole test and interview procedure took no more than 15 minutes. AFC does a great job and we would definitely recommend using this urgent care in the future.

This is an amazing service. I wasn't in the waiting room 10 minutes and in to see a doctor and at a fraction of the cost of an emergency room visit.
Stopped by for a flu shot over the weekend. The space was clean and bright and inviting - I helped myself to a coffee from the coffee bar in the few minutes I waited. Staff were all very friendly. Painlessly in and out in minutes.
My son and I had a great experience today at Doctors Express. We were both able to be seen and treated in under 45 minutes, which is very helpful with a little one. Will definitely come back when in need of a doctor.

EDIT: after billing was over, I'm downgrading this from a 5 to a 2. In addition to the actual COVID test itself (100% covered by insurance), they billed for a "20 minute outpatient office visit" for the 30 seconds that the clinician spent handing me a form about COVID-19 and briefly listening to my chest. Definitely a bit of a racket going on there. That explains why they insist on getting your credit card info when you first register.

I went for a rapid COVID test. I got there 5 minutes early, and was seen 3 minutes later. They come up to your car to do it. Both the nurse who did the test and the clinician who came out afterward were very nice and professional. The test itself was quick and simple. I got an email less than an hour later with my results. I'm very impressed with the whole thing.
The only thing I could possibly complain about would be the pre-visit online paperwork that asks you to photograph your credit card and other information. It's kind of a pain and a little weird, but not a huge deal.

I went to Urgent Care because of a fall. I didn't want to spend all night at the ER. I was greeted with a smile. Filled out the forms and went right back to an exam room. Xrays were quick. This was an easy visit. I will definitely come back.

From the initial phone call to checking out, this was 5 star service. I am an RN with a two year old and am currently between jobs. I worried when my daughter, who has always been healthy, developed a high fever and cough, especially since I was unsure where to go with my "temporary" insurance. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, patient, etc. Though I wish my little one didn't have pneumonia, it was awesome to be cared for by such great providers...PA Jillian was amazing, as was the nurse Audrey and the desk staff. After waiting an hour and a half at Emerson without being seen, went to AFC and was in within 5 minutes. Appointment with X-ray was under 45 minutes. Great staff and great process.

The Doctor I saw did not give me anything for it and she didn t have a very good attitude.

The group at AFC are incredible! They get you in and out quickly (even if you don't have an appointment) and all the nurses and doctors are so kind, funny and respectful. Even with the flu, the nurse was cracking jokes with me! Won't go anywhere else now.
This is by far the fastest and most efficient urgent care I have ever visited. I am usually done within 30 min. The staff is friendly and helpful and the place is very clean and organized. They are also open on sundays, which has saved me more than one trip to the ER!

The staff is so professional, caring, courteous and takes every necessary precaution to keep all safe. We never have waited more than 10 minutes and our results are emailed to us within 2 hours! My teenaged son needed xrays to see if he had broken his big toe...we were in and out in about 2 hours, but given the amount of patients that were there, it was great!! Much easier than going to the hospital ER, and is covered by our insurance!

This was my second time being seen at AFC Urgent Care in Burlington. Just like my first visit, the entire staff was on-point. I was checked in quickly and was with the Doctor within 10-15 minutes. The Physicians assistants/nurses are very helpful and they meet with you first, minutes after check in. The rooms are comfortable and clean and have televisions to help pass the small wait time until the doctor can see you. The doctor I have met with is amazing. She is very comforting and thorough. She has helped me get well both times I have seen her. I wish she could be my primary care physician. The post visit staff is very quick and provides your paperwork and any follow up action items if needed.
All around a great, seamless experience and a wonderful staff. Highly recommended.

My wife and I arrived for a Covid testing 30 minutes early and immediately checked in, expecting to wait the 30 minutes until our appointment. Almost immediately we were called back to get our information and they told us( Toni?) would be out to conduct the test. Toni arrived in a few minutes and clearly explained what she was going to do and proceeded to swab my nose( painless). She then explained that I would receive an e-mail within two hours with the results if negative, or called by the doctor if positive. These people really know how to take care of their customers. I couldn t be more positive with my experience and highly recommend this urgent care company. Bob H
