Haven't been for several years. We were surprised. Very hospitable. Some gems are allowed to taste. From IPA to Tripel. Short chat with the brewer and a tour of the brewery .. Very friendly. To be repeated. If you like craft beer you should definitely visit this brewery in Utrecht. Got a free bottle of IPA to take home.

Last week here eaten with a group and understand that it took a little longer, but it was a very long wait between the dishes. Furthermore, the dishes were okay and no more than that, especially main course, Argentinian steak with 1 carrot and 1 piece of bok choy and 4 semi-cooked potatoes was disappointing.
Good food, just a bit strange that you have to pay for the Poke bowl (which is in the fish dishes) for the tuna while there is no fish in it? He was really nice!
We had the main course here as part of a tour through Utrecht. We had a choice of vegan burger, meat burger or fish pan. All three were of good quality and tasted good. The restaurant itself is located in a beautiful old canal house.
A higher level of food in the center of Utrecht with an extensive menu that goes well with their home brewed beer. Definitely recommended, only on the more expensive side.
Delicious, good card with something for everyone. Nice service and beautiful inside. Outside you also sit nicely along the canal. Delicious cake and lunch and a great location where I like to come.
Nice place, attractive and for dinner this is ok. We had dinner with 20 colleagues, was very busy and very tight. Excellent service, personal and attentive. Downstairs in the beer museum, was cozy and good explanation.
Food and service were great. Only comment is that the food is a bit too salty. Otherwise, it would be perfect. One of my favorite restaurant in Utrecht
The food was absolutely delicious, but the unpleasant taste that we got due to the unprofessional and rude service could not be compensated by that. My parents came here with some regularity, with the emphasis on coming!
Good restaurant in a nice location. Cozy interior. The menu is varied, not too special dishes, but all very nicely prepared. Friendly staff. And there are also special local beers available from their own brand and brewery. It is advisable to make a reservation here.
Had a nice lunch with my son Timo. Familiar ordered the farmers omelette. Very friendly service with sense of humor. The entourage is also responsible for returning more often.
The bar is significantly better than the cuisine. Fancy a drink? This is a great place. The beer is fine and it is often pleasantly busy. Want good food? Just walk on.
The food was great! However, it took ages before our food arrived, they served the wrong dish, and forgot to bring 2 dishes. Next to that they brought us the wrong bill, but the thing that did it was the unfriendly and poor service! The waiter from the restaurant next door, who was hilarious, even cleaned our table and provided better service than the waiters at this restaurant did.
It is in an old castle and looks quite nice inside. The food was very good, but a bit expensive. Also we had to wait a lot for the food, even the staff was very nice.
Beautiful location, but way too many tables crammed into a too small space to get as many people in the venue as they possibly can. I made reservations for 6 for a high tea on Saturday for a bachelorette party and ended up in the most crowded part of the restaurant where it was very warm. We were so close to the table next to us that food and hot tea had to be passed down from the head of the table because the waiters couldn't get to the side of the table. A big no no when handling hot tea in heavy cast metal kettles. The tables were very high with high chairs, which made it all less comfortable to sit down for a longer amount of time (2 hours for a high tea).
Another thing is that the images for a high tea on the website for a high tea NO WHERE resemble what you actually get when you get there. We expected romantic china and brass tier serving stands, but got heavy castmetal tea kettles and stone serving trays. Not what I expected paying 21,50 per head. The food was okay.
Will not come here again, sad since the waiters were very nice.
A great evening in Oudaen, not in the least because of the hospitable, enthusiastic and enthusiastic duty manager who managed to bring the passion for the hopitalty course to every dish. Well-chosen composition of the dishes and very large portions. We would like to come back again!
