Den Brugwachter is a very good restaurant.
We often go to there for a lunch.
They also have a nice outside terrace.

Let me get straight to the point, once and never again! Reserved for half past eight, the start was fine. It started with a 35 minute wait for order pick-up despite the small amount of people. Ordered and yes, had to wait another 30 minutes for the starter. And between the starter and main course there was more than 30 minutes. This is unacceptable for the reasonably high price and the not super high quality of the food.

Surprisingly delicious lunch. Will definitely come back.

We arrived at 5.10 pm (23.02.2019) to brasserie, it was pretty relax (not much people). Spent 10 minutes, till 2 of lady-waiters will ask if we want to order something. These ladies passed through us many times, but zero reaction. Prices in this place are not cheap, but service is nothing. We left this place in 10 minutes. Do not recommend to visit.

Visited last Saturday for the first time. staff does not seem to be very motivated. No second time for us.

Very expensive and bad ... on the terrace Are very old conifers and they are full of pigeons that are mating and nesting there. thus branches and seeds came into my food. which was already very bad and much more expensive 10.00 euros for one rolled thin white slice of bread is sold as a crueqe lady outrageous.

To celebrate the birthday, with the parents to Den Brugwachter. This gets worse every time. Now it has really been the last time. Huge waiting times (1.5 to 2 hours) for the food to come, the wrong food is brought, the food is brought cold (but because it took so long, nothing was said for fear that it would take a long time). Reason given: crowds. Well half a terrace was full where you saw 3 tables of food and within 3 tables. Have a nice day ended in a minneur. Fortunately, there are still many good restaurants in Lommel that we can go to in the future.

We took appetizer, main course and coffee. There is a wide choice of pastas, meat and fish dishes and steppe grass!
They even have some specialties such as deer and fillet of fillet.
We naturally dared ourselves to the latter: soft and well-baked with a nice sauce together with fried vegetables.

The service is friendly and regularly comes to the table to ask if everything is satisfactory. Top!

Nice note: We had ordered tomato soup, but it didn't really taste ... As compensation, a drink was not charged. Can we at least say that this was much appreciated.

Often long waiting times but the worst is the noise. To eat something at your leisure, you better go somewhere else. If you can handle noise well, there is no problem for you! You can eat well in itself but I could not enjoy it.

This is really an experience, I was here for lunch, very good menu, seasonal dishes, game and other specialties were offered, Ossobuco with Friets was first class! Nice location, nice service, all good!
