Had lunch with a large group but the order of serving was separate.

Usually come here once a week after school to have a beer with friends, always good service and great beer and food.

Definitely recommended, pleasant staff and an alcohol-free cocktail for my birthday

A chic place to meet, usually well packed and tasty food

Dissapointed so much of these crispy chicken...they were with soooo much fat inside and not tasty at all. The rest looked ok.

Sitting downstairs in the Brewery for a New Year's drink, it was fun there.

Eaten well! Asparagus with sea bass and baked potatoes. Together with an Oudaen tripel, enjoy a nice meal in one of the busier areas of Utrecht. Friendly service. Above expectations!

Sitting on the canal or outside is very nice, but because of the rain we were inside. It is very noisy, even though it is not packed. The service seems very stressed. They do serve all meals at any time of the day (including dinner meals). The fish soup is not recommended, it looks like tomato soup with fish in it. We had to wait longer for the sandwiches (was indicated after a while) than the soup! Operation is friendly. There is not much space and there are many steps, so with children / buggy it is not recommended.

Food was fine, but service not that good. Finally took about 10 minutes before I could pay because no one was walking on the terrace.

The drinks came very quickly. The wheat beer is very tasty, absolute recommendation! The black beer was quite strong. The small cheese platter was very small. Better to order a large one

Not the first time I ve been to this bar/restaurant and it was again really good. Main course of sea bass and risotto really worked. Service good. Good value.

Nice place with good own beer. Today we went to Oudaen's beer cellar. Recommended.

The downstairs brewery is a hidden gem right by the canal. Amazing steak, great beers, wonderful staff. We were able to get table on a busy Saturday, no problem. V cute brewery cat too!

Friendly staff, the vegan salad was very varied and delicious. The fries were good, the meat of my companion too. What more do you want? Maybe a tad too expensive, but still o. K.

I was on the lookout for a brewery and came across this place which has good seating options overlooking the canal. The interiors were quite nice well, especially the bar counter with the big beer processing units added a good appeal.

The staff were very friendly and offered good beer suggestions. The "Triple" was dynamite in taste and quite strong, so it's recommended to start with 300 ml. :) Can't comment much on the food as I only had the bread starters which was well served with sour cream sauce and a tomato mix.

Highly recommend this place for it's craft beers.

Very friendly service and nice place. Food is a bit on the pricey side for what you get for it. But that will also have to do with the location. The lemon dessert is something special. The rose prawn crackers are super tough (maybe it's just for decoration). The chocolate dessert is also highly recommended. Portions are very different. The salmon dish is a bit on the small side and if you choose the satay you hardly get it. The home-built beers are surprising and the brewing kettles make it a beautiful experience in the heart of Utrecht. In short, a must. Especially if you want to have a drink at a beautiful location.

Stopped 2 times for a drink.

The first time in the basement on the canal. This is a great place to stay with a view of the brewery. The acoustics here are enormous, which makes it quite noisy when it is full (acoustic panel on the wall would solve this). Furthermore, industrial look with cable ducts and tubes with lamps mounted on it, which does justice to the location. Super friendly service that gave us some tips.

The next day in the afternoon, I sat upstairs in the big room. Also nice space and pleasant stay. The service was great here too. The oudaen large dish is definitely recommended as well as the portion of bitter snacks.
We drank the Triple and the regular beer and both have a good taste.

If we end up in Utrecht again we will definitely be back.

Where are the chandeliers ?! What hangs now defies every aspect of good taste. Modern posturing in the city castle, what a pity. Had left it with the kettles!

I think Tout Utrecht comes here to drink his beer. At least it was that busy. Their homemade wheat beer is highly recommended, we concluded with satisfaction after the first sip on a hot afternoon. If you can sit outside I certainly would. Do your eyes also have something to experience: special people pass by, the service is on top, so you don't have to be thirsty.

Wonderful beers, well chilled and very tasty, plus a small but well-chosen menu with small delicacies, appealing and tasty. Very friendly service and nice places to sit, both directly on the canal, as well as outside in front of the restaurant and quite enchanting inside, with a spacious bar, stylish ambience. We will be back.

Had a very nice tour of the beer brewery with our company party, directly from the tour boat into the brewery and on the beer ;-)

Good food. There was a lot of time between the starter and main course.

Nice location but the food is really not special. Tough sandwiches with little tasteful toppings.

Have been coming there for years, summer, lovely terrace and winter. Always very pleasant, good value for money and the wait staff is always friendly, efficient, adept and professional. Love to come there!

Beauty has potential in place and the number of stars is a function of a waitress who did not exactly know to be a waitress. And it's a shame.

It is always nice to have a drink here, but personally I am sorry that the old atmosphere is a bit gone. I am not in favor of modernizing old buildings with a history.

Eat Christmas menu the food was worthless no Christmas atmosphere at all it was stone cold

Very nice place along the canal. Lunch changing. Bouncer simple and not special but vitello again very tasty.

Eaten with 4. Steak was fine, burgers and curry were mediocre at best. Have to wait a long time (30 min!) For a drink. Staff do their best, but are unable to supply the large amount of people in time. It has been a long time since I was there, but it will also be a long time before we get back there. Unfortunately!

Food was very tasty, good portions. On the expensive side, but you get quality in return. The Grand Dessert is especially recommended.

We were looking for a coffee place and then saw this brewery and simply couldn t walk by.The staff is very friendly, service fast, beer very tasty, music, ambiance, people, everything was great. As we sat and people watched we noticed that another popular item was ginger tea (a piece of ginger, mint, and hot water.) So whether you want to have a good time, some beer, tea/coffee, or a bite this is a place for you! Loved it! When in Utrecht I will be back for sure!

Today ate outside on the terrace. Friendly service and good food. Pork tenderloin with fries, a plate full and therefore satisfied. The mussels were also tasty and more than enough. So worth repeating.

I can only rate the beer at this point because we didn't eat anything. We visited the regional brewery on a weekend visit to Utrecht. The Pils is unfortunately not mine, too sweet and too light for a Pils. The triple was very excellent. Prices are ok. Ambience not as cozy as you would expect from a brewery.
