Karen Cannon Realtors Review

When I was looking for a realtor Karen was at the top of the list. I appreciated her knowledge of the field, her understanding of the consumer and her educated counsel. There were times I wanted to metaphorically turn right and she professionally would present the argument for turning left . Coming from the corporate world . these are characteristics that I recognize, respect and appreciate. She and her team are the best of the best.

I have admired Karen Cannon properties over the years and was excited to interview Karen as a potential agent. She was extremely prepared and presented herself and company terrifically. She, by a large margin out performed other agents.

The process was as expected(high expectations). Top notch vendors to clean up some small details on our property and a designer to move/add some furniture so flow was optimized. Everyone we dealt with was an A+. Karens vendor rolodex is a true asset.
Pictures as well as the 3D tour were top tier professional quality and significantly more complete and detailed then other realtors who offered similar services.
We had two offers pretty quickly and our townhome sold for full list in 3 weeks. We closed and we re done and done within 8 weeks of list. We had moved out of state so this was/is incredibly helpful. Other properties on our block are still sitting.
We are very happy with our experience with Karen Cannon. There was a detail that got away from one of the junior agents but Karen and Anderson rectified that in the A+ fashion that they seem to operate with daily. I would recommend to family and friends. My wife and I used Karen Cannon Realtors 13 years ago to sell our home in Dunwoody. The process went so well that we decided to try the Karen Cannon team again to sell our home in East Cobb. Sabrina is an excellent realtor, thorough professional and exceedingly efficient. We had originally listed our house for sale in Jan'20 with the "largest, renowned" real estate company but soon realized it is agent specific and agent driven. After ~ 5 months, when we didn't get our house sold, we decided to go with Karen Cannon Realtors.
Sabrina and Karen took time to meet with us. They strongly & decisively recommended some changes esp., the color of kitchen cabinets and few other minor but vital upgrades. That proved to be a game changer and increased the traffic and showings. They listed our house after July 4th and by August we had 2 competing full price offers and closed in September'20.
She is very easy to work with and guided us throughout the whole process. Their whole team, including the coordinators & other staff, is awesome.

Just to add to my wife s comments: best example of overpromising and underdelivering. Don t care that the realtor we had to work with (Whitney) left the company by now (too late for us). No market knowledge, making us wasting money for some BS staging. Had 1! Showing. Buyers lived across the hall and i did all the showings with them.....
Overall very disappointing experience.

Karen and her entire team were a true delight to work with. They made what is typically a stressful process extremely manageable and even enjoyable as they guided us efficiently through every step. What a great team to work with! From the first meeting I had with Karen- I knew she would be able to sell my home. She is very knowledgeable of my community and educated me on comps and what needed to be done to make my home ready to be shown in the best manner. My agent, Pauline, helped me find and buy my current home and I was very happy with how flexible she was when it came to showing me houses. I have recommended several clients to Karen over the years. She is a top real estate professional, extremely knowledgeable of the local market and gets terrific results. My last referral had an unusual property in Sandy Springs, he was amazed at the team Karen brought to help with the sale. He said he felt like the Karen Cannon army arrived to take pictures, help with staging, make repairs and get the property ready for sale. Despite having sold all his prior homes on his own, he was sure that he could not have negotiated this sale, or gotten the results Karen did. If you are looking in Dunwoody, Sandy Springs or the surrounding area you can do no better than Karen Cannon Realtors.

DO NOT USE THEM! upfront, I bought my first house using this company almost 1 year ago. (Jan 2017, but started working with them in November 16). The realtor i worked with has moved on since but she was an official Karen Cannon employee while she was my realtor. I also had problems with Anderson, who is Karen's Wife.

Remember, this was my 1st house purchase. To start, the realtor did not do her job. 1. she would get mad at me and call me names because i was trying to negotiate. 2. she made agreements with the other agent without consulting me first. 3. She cost me money because she refused to negotiate. 4. She refused to work on days around the holidays (which were not actual days off and she was not on PTO). Finally after blowing up on me on the phone, calling me names and hanging up on me, i was connected to her boss Anderson (AC). He was nice at first, but he made me promises like "ill take over from here" ill be at the walk through, I want to make you happy. AC did not keep his word. He told me he could not be at the walk through as he promised his wife somethign, then his realtor told me that she was busy and could not be there. They worked out to have the sellers agent there. The sellers realtor represents the seller, not the buyer. their job was to represent me and especially being a first time home buyer this should have been their focus. Instead, AC ignored my phone calls, he forced his realtor who wanted nothing to do with me, to be at the inspection, she stood in the corner the whole time, did not inspect anything or say a word. AC showed up 1 hour late to the closing.

Overall, this company was horrible. This was my first home and was supposed to be a good experience. They made it a nightmare.

After months of researching options to list our property, we chose Karen Cannon and Team. Karen s immediate responsiveness and attention to detail were key contributing factors. Used this company to help sell our loft. Contacted Karen Cannon directly since she's who I wanted to use as a realtor but was directed/pushed off to use another person at the company. The realtor we used, Whitney, gave us the worse experience ever selling a place. She was rude, totally unorganized and gave us stress when we hoped the process would be easy. Mind you, we have bought and sold about 14 properties in the past before we used this company so we have an idea of how a good realtor should be. Anyway, we only heard from Karen Cannon via an impersonal email just to check in. Simply put, our realtor didn't even find out buyer for us. We found our buyers and brought them to her so it was a pretty easy sell for her. I would not recommend this company at all.

We recently relocated to the Atlanta area from California. On the recommendation of family in the area we reached out to Karen Cannon for assistance in finding what we hope will be our forever home. Karen connected us with one of their associates, Traci Wilensky.

With only a few days notice, we tasked Traci with identifying viable properties and scheduling two days of showings in the Sandy Springs area. I flew in for 48 hours, we did a real estate marathon and found the perfect house and made an offer.
