Nice clean place. Good service. Plenty of space between gaming machines.

Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, and vallet service. Slot machines are pretty tight.
Very disappointed. Hotel is under major renovation right now, and there was no mention of this when we reserved the rooms. The pool is shared with a different hotel, unknown to us (we have kids with us so this was a bummer). Our room had a major drip coming down from the ac unit in the room above ours, and nothing was done about it. To boot, the lady at the front desk issued no apologies or discounts or anything when we complained. We ended up changing hotels in the middle of the trip.
I won at this casino so don't think the 1star is from losing. This place gets one star because the people are very rude there. To get an attendant to pay out on your machine it took over a half hour. I would understand if there are a lot of people there and things were going on but the place was basically empty. Then it came time to get our car from valet and it took 45 minutes and each time we checked on it we either got the answer of it is coming or the person would just shrug their shoulders. I discuss the matter with the manager any said well we had to pay someone out and then use the slot tech to go get our car. The slot tech look like he got drug out of a gutter and his butt was in our car. South Dakota is amazing place but I will never go back to Deadwood again. Which that also reminds me I explained the situation to two people then there and their excuse was " that's Deadwood". Just a sorry excuse.
It was awful expensive for both the room and restaurant. The carpets in the room and halls needed a better vacuum to clean them, and the food was lukewarm. We did not like the new remodel as Deadwood should remain rustic, not modern.
Overated and prices on rooms way more than going downtown
Room was amazing but had an odd smell. Bathroom was awesome. Beds were comfortable.
Horrible, Thursday night 8 on the list and just 1 poker table open. Asked- and they not planning to open any more
Dealers are fairly entertaining and pretty decent service
The room was really clean and the service was great. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Awful treating Slotlady like that.. she has filmed there before.. I don't know why the casino would enforce a rule they have overlooked many times before with her streams.
Super clean rooms, cool pool and the friendliest dealers and staff. Fun little destination with no complaints.
Had a great time. Love all the comps you get. Food and service is great at the Brown Rock cafe. Everyone is very nice.
Spent the first night in a broken bed and an ac unit that sounded like a model t starting every time it started up. After complaining the hotel offered to fix the bed. No comps nothing about the ac unit. The resteraunt had good food just a very generic menu. The casino had a horrible win rate. Won about 250 out of 700 spent. Played for about three hours only over the course of two evenings and mornings.
Nice rooms, nice people, tightest slots in town the worst I have ever seen and I've been in a lot of Casino's....to far from the action which is all downtown. Deadwood is nothing but a big tourest trap! Will never be back...
They have upgraded the casino and it is really worth going. Prior before it was ok.. I have family from out of town through out the year come stay at our home and everyone wants to go check out Deadwood, Sd. Cadillac Jack's would be my first place I would take them. The casino is bigger upgraded Machines. My favorite is sitting Outside they have big fire pits and couches around it so relaxing and a beautiful site.
Even the older hotel has nice rooms, location is away from Main Street, and the have great staff.
Rooms were great as was the service. I appreciated the no smoking in the building.
Nice place to stay, I am not much into gaming but still had a lot of fun. Bartenders and very very friendly and makes great drinks. Great suggestions. Ask for Chad or Anna Rose. Best bartenders and great people I've met.
I just visited the casino. They have a lot of new slot machines and table games. A nice casino to lose your money in haha!
A descent casino but not the best in Deadwood waiting on renovations.
Cadillac Jacks is always clean, has updated machines, but could pay out more winnings.
Just had a salad for lunch. Price was right, service was great, and food was delicious. Made me want to come back for dinner.
Very nice upkeep. Just being built when we stayed but were EXTREMELY nice all around in every area! Highly recommended!
Stay was OK until one of suits at the front door started making fun of the cleaning staff. In a loud voice laughing said employee missed a spot. Then in same loud voice joked about their shoes. I expressed my concern to him separately and was told that he had two friends of the same race. It was not about race, it was about dignity.
Went there to watch football, and our teams won. The wings and nachos are good.
What a neat place, friendly people, quite a few machines for a small place....pretty much attached to other gaming hotels. Very nice rooms.
Beautiful rooms close to downtown Deadwood. Had a great time there
Not sure why there is a low rating because this place is newer and clean and quiet on the top floor. Everything you need and the location is great.
We were on a casino trip, staying at casinos in Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Las Vegas (MGM), Colorado and Deadwood. Cadillac Jack's was by far, the best experience! The rooms were super clean and very nice. The staff were excellent. The casino perks were great! Loved our stay, cant wait to go back!
Variety of live tables, friendly, waitstaff was pretty quick with drinks
Absolutely terrible! Booked a NON smoking room and check in at 9:30 and see it was a smoking room! Had a headache within five min of being in room! Front desk manager would not even do anything for us! At least re imburse us and we could have went and stayed somewhere else! I will never stay at this hotel!
They gave us a sweet last minute deal, and driving the extra 20-30 min away from the city was awesome - you drive through Black Hills National Forest which is BEAUTIFUL into a cool little town. The casino is not huge, but that means awesome service and quick refills on drinks. Everyone was super nice and helpful... I'm not sure about the negative reviews - there was absolutely nothing about my stay that was undesirable. If you're passing though or trying to check out Rushmore or one of the other sites around, stay here!
Hotel was nothing exceptional. They were in the middle of remodeling so some issues were to be expected but my biggest complaints pertain to front desk personnel. My wife, child and myself had been driving all night and we're really looking forward to a shower and nap when we arrived around 1230 PM on the day of our reservation which I had already paid for. I was told there were NO early check-ins and even if I was willing to pay a prorate there were NO EXCEPTIONS and 3 PM was earliest possible time. Finally once checking in I was informed there was a $12.95 fee that covered a casino credit and food discount but could be removed so upon check-out I told them I hadn't used any of it but was told I had to make that choice at check-in. I'll definitely never return to this hotel.
The hotel rooms are great and the location is awesome. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool you get to use in a connected hotel was really nice! We would stay here again.
Service at the bar was friendly, but the machines will rob you blind! Players at the few active tables were peppered with novices so didn't take the risk to play blackjack.
WOULD NOT STAY THERE AGAIN. Called over the phone to make a reservation and was told that I could get a decently priced room for $49.99 along with one of their gamblers packages. This included $20 food voucher and $30 gaming credit that costs you a total of $35. Lady on the phone told us our total with taxes included was suppose to be $89.60. Check in and I am getting charged $120 and I ask a man at the front desk that this is not what the lady told me over the phone and he reassured me that the price should be what we were told over the phone because this was a security deposit for the room. NOT THE TRUTH. Come to find out when we check out that our total is $110.66. I was not pleased and told the man at the front desk this is NOT what I was told over the phone and he said there was nothing he could do about what the lady said over the phone. This was an over priced and poorly run establishment. Not to mention people were constantly at the front desk dealing with issues it seemed like. If you plan on going make sure you ask for everything you want when you check in including the packages you paid for, keys to get into the pools, and QUESTIONS ABOUT THE FINAL PRICE.
As a former Las Vegan, all the casinos in Deadwood seem charmingly small and quaint, which is not a negative to me--I detest Las Vegas. Cadillac Jack's is the largest and most modern, I believe, but it is still tiny to those used Nevada casinos, which again, was a positive for me. Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable-not-luxurious rooms, and a very good breakfast buffet in a nice little dedicated restaurant area made me have not a single complaint with the place for the three nights I was there. What makes this hotel superior to others, is it's location: it is pretty much the last building on the main drag of Deadwood (not to be confused with the other road in Deadwood). If one wants to explore anything in the area besides Deadwood, and one has vehicle to drive five min into town, this is the place to stay so that one does not get caught in the Deadwood traffic--like I said, basically two roads--Cadillac Jack's is a great option. We were very happy being just a little bit removed from the center of town.
The rooms were great, they had a very nice pool, and the service was amazing
The people here are terrible they act like there way better than us and they send us money that ask how we are the waitress at the casino did that
High priced and not much to offer. No lotion in rooms and no free breakfast in the mornings. You think they would with $300 a night rooms. Stay in downtown hotel.
food still sucks but the room and gambling are great
Yeah, it's the Cadillac of casinos alright. Overpriced, overrated, snobby, it's glory days long gone. If you join players club, download app, etc., you are promised "Jack Cash." They don't tell it takes up to 24 hours to show up. Restaurant was nice. Food was good, service was good, flies were bad.
Place looks nice... but full of crooks. Ar the tables Dealers will consistently under pay you if you don't keep a close eye. Twice they color up with 50 chips (except they have no $50 chips)
Staying in a casino wasn't our first intention, but we loved the night we spent here. The room was clean, large and comfortable. Guests get a few free bucks to play the slots, so that was fun, too. The dinner downstairs was delicious. There was no breakfast, or anything really in walking distance, but we found coffee in a nearby gas station. The one downside was their pet area -- just a gravel-filled alley behind the hotel. Deadwood itself is gorgeous and we look forward to returning.
Good location, renovated rooms, microwave and refrigerator are nice extras. The casino is for bigger spenders than the downtown casinos.
Honestly I would not recommend staying here if you have children especially young children they cannot stay in the room by themselves they are not welcome on the gaming floor. Nor are they welcomed in the gift shop area if you are not passing through the casino to go to the restaurant or the pool or to go outside then forget taking your kids down with you
Beautiful newly remodeled rooms....feels like Vegas. Britton & Michael welcomed us and the entire Staff were just so accommodating and friendly. Swimming pool and hot tub area is clean and beautiful. Just such a special place to stay!
Played craps for a short while. Dealers were friendly and fun. Even though I left down, I had fun!
Nice place. Rooms were nice. Reasonably priced. The only thing I didn't care for was that you had to walk through the whole casino to get to the pool. But other then that our stay was great.
We stayed at this location because they took our hotel points for 3 nights but when it came time to check out they said well the reservation was only for 2 days so we are going to charge you for the one night and it came out to $575.00. They claimed they tried to contact us but our phones and emails show no record of this. We will be staying at the Grand next time to avoid this issue in the future.
Lots of fun, great casino. Actually won some money here!
Seemed like a nice place. It took like half hour to get service help. We had to go find help for the video machine just so we could play. Evey other machine we tried would not read out cards. Staff seemed snobbish and just didn't care. We ended up leaving after an hour. Went to tin lizzie that's a great place.
Unfortunately not impressed... Hopefully the service will improve with new addition and restaurants.
