I've now had dinner here three times. Love the chips and salsa and the menu is excellent Tex-Mex. Five stars for the food. Bartenders are awesome! Five stars for the bartenders.The staff overall is very pleasant but table service is inconsistent. Last night, it took 10-15 minutes before our waiter greeted us to let us know how busy they were. Another 10 minutes for her to come back and let our party know the specials. We placed our order but never received our drinks or appetizers. Our food came out fairly quickly and was delicious. We never saw our server again after she took our order and had to ask another waiter for our check. 1 star. The restaurant could also use a remodel/update as it's looking dated/run down both inside and out.

If you are looking for a place for it's vibe and not it's food, then this is the place. The quality and recipes were the quality of a dinner. The prices were not worth the meal.
Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. They have a huge variety of amazing infused tequilas. There's always live music on the weekends. And to top it off, they offer free valet service! I go here at least twice a week and recommend it to everyone.
My daughter took me there, the food was okay. I'm really not a big fan of Mexican food. It was very cold in the place, no heat just about everyone had their jackets on., so we really couldn't enjoy the food. We had to keep on our coats. We spoke to the waitress but there was still nothing. Bathroom need to be cleaned so did some of the tables we had to have the waitress changes us to a cleaner table.
Went here for lunch but the menu is all the same, I didn't get a chance to see if they had any drink specials but I'm sure they do with the full bar. The food was amazing, full of flavor and presented well at a decent price. It definitely felt more like texmex than authentic Mexican but that's arguably a better deal. It's a very relaxed atmosphere and Definitely worth your time to check this place out

Been wanting to try this place out since before it even opened. Finally got to go this summer. Major disappointment. I ordered the fish tacos since it appears to be a popular menu item, and a friend got the enchiladas. Fish tasted like microwaveable fish fillets they could have bought at the cvs across the street. That Dry, unmelted shredded cheese that comes in bags- don't expect queso fresco here, I guess. Came with chipotle sauce on the side - that was good. Maybe its just me, but I was disappointed that it came on a flour tortilla. They don't really advertise as authentic mexican food however, so ok, we can let that slide. Overall, it tasted like they defrosted the whole thing, microwaved it, and brought it out. The portions were big but I wouldn't want to finish it anyway.
My friends order was also mediocre but a little more edible. But the film that had formed over the sauce that was already there when we got our food suggests that it had been sitting around for some time... doesn't really affect the taste but it was unappetizing enough for me to notice and I usually wouldn't give a damn about that sort of thing.
Nice decorations, nice waitstaff, can't comment on the drinks, but food seems to suck. I would give it another try, and I would not have written a bad review at all actually, had I not gone home and felt nauseous and thrown up the whole meal about 4 hours later. I haven't thrown up because of food since I was a little kid so I just feel like they have the food at room temp, reheat, room temp etc.
If you want to feel special and have a drink in a place with good vibes, friendly people, and (unnecessary) valet parking in the back... go ahead. But if you've had home cooked Mexican food before, hell, home cooked ANYTHING before, spare yourself the 15 bucks or you'll be disappointed.
Nice little spot with great motif. The fish tacos were great. This is not your traditional mexican spot so peek at the menu before you go. The music could have been a little lower so you could have a conversation but overal service was good.
Wow. I ve had some decent meals here but tonight I was surprised and shocked actually from the moment we walked in. Kids and dads out for a nice meal. It s freezing outside. The moment we open the door there is a man standing there, a sort of hat bouncer who accosted my friend by saying firmly, you have to takeoff your hat. My friend said excuse me? And then the man repeated you need to take off your hat. No hello first. No welcome. My friend was a bit taken back and expressed it. It s as if the moment we walked in we had done something wrong. The appropriate request would ve been, hello, welcome, when you get settled and take off your coat if you could also please takeoff your hat, we would appreciate it.
Instead the bouncer was humorless and robotic. The owner then proceeded to step in, acting defensive and rude. Is there a problem? She said firmly. And this all happened within seconds of entering the place calmly and respectfully. We were told to leave after trying to discuss the interaction with the owner. She claimed we were making her uncomfortable. Two ordinary dads with 4 children. Never raised our voices. No scene was made.
In this day and age when there are so many choices for dinner, the restaurant business must be about providing you, the customer, with excellent service. To be rudely admonished from the moment you walk in for essentially breaking their rule is truly bizarre. Did they not want kids in the restaurant? Seems like it in hindsight. Sorry folks, I m not going back there and if I were you I d think twice about going there too. You deserve better from the moment you walk in. The proprietor whose who claims her grandmother made the hat rule (nothing like holding on to tradition for a mediocre taco joint on Morris Ave) has no idea how much business she just lost.
The first thing they said after we entered the restaurant was sir, take off your hat we were told that they had and no hat policy. And we were disappointed that the first greeting we got one entering the restaurant as a customer was a statement that told us we doing something wrong. Then we gave them some feedback on the entrance greeting for their customers, and they got pushy, kept repeating the same excuse like a broken record. She told us that she was uncomfortable talking about it, and asked us to leave. my question is, what if they had a hat on for a religious reason? What would they do. I d rate this Restaurant One star for the hospitality they gave us on entrance .
This is our first time here. Service was awesome. Drinks were great. Food even better. Definitely coming back. Oh, we had so much fun with the other patrons. Great atmosphere!
We got seated right away and the hostesses were very friendly, so were the servers. We got greeted right away to get our drink order and food order. It took a bit of time to make but that is okay. Food came out hot, but wasn't the best. Very bland rice and beans and the tacos were good but nothing to write home about. I was not asked once if I wanted a refill, I could have asked but I just drank table water instead. Overall, food was average and service was a bit slow but friendly.
Such a great little spot. Went for the grilled fish tacos and margaritas, let me say they are the best!!! Service was excellent. Jolee was super sweet and very attentive. I will b back. Lets support local neighborhood gems like this one.
Waited 30 minutes to be served cold food. Server forgot my table as I waited another 5 minutes for a refill on my drink. Really bad service. The atmosphere is great, very cozy and warm.

So mistakely I was intoxicated on 2 drinks, not my intention to get wasted but I guess I'm getting old.However, I did like the guy/ host pestering me to leave as I quietly sat and waited for a ride and left my car. No regard for safety was given to me as a courtesy.
Such a beautiful spot, the decor is so romantic and cool, It really ties everything together with the colorful food and drinks! To me everything here is a work of art. I could eat the fish tacos every day! Great service! Can't wait to go back for a peanut butter and jelly tequila shot!
On Saturday nights they have acoustic guitar players. it's a good spot to come with your honey and chill. They have comfortable couches in addition to tables and chairs. Very friendly staff. Positive vibe. Worth going to...
At the first moment you come to that restaurant they give you an enjoyable feeling. Very hospitable stuff, it is a good place to to go out with buddies or with your date. very good meals, specialist chef de cuisine, modest pay and excellent service. Warmly recommended.
As i sit in this lovely atmosphere provided at this establishment i begin to notice the flies in my face for starters. The service was spotty at best and for the food id say a bland attempt at hispanic and Mexican cuisine. I had to send my meal back twice because a steak cooked rare just seems to be impossible. The atmosphere is lovely quaint and quite intoxicating. While their drinks might be slightly over priced the attractivness of the staff tends to distract from the price at the end of the night. Over all I'd sit at the bar and have a drink or two but to sit and eat the experience is mediocre at best.
First time coming here and absolutely loved the food and atmosphere. As soon as I walked in, from complimentary valet, to the mango margarita and tacos. It was awesome. And not to mention Alyssa our server was smiling the whole time and just a delight to have wait on us. Thanks red Cadillac for a great experience!
The Red Cadillac is the SPOT!! The wait was an hour but it was worth it! You can make reservations with 5 or more people only and get through a lot quicker. The place is small but cozy. The Live entertainment was great!I had the fish tacos OMG deliciously fresh light and flaky fish. The fresh flavors melted in your mouth. They served hot nachos with extremely fresh salsa so good with rice and hot black beans sauce. I think this place is a hidden gem. Make sure you have a designated driver because they are serious about their drinks Really nice place to go on a date or chill with your friends or coworkers. Definitely will be back!
The happy hour drinks are were it's at....except...happy hour is from 3-6 pm. Major fail for people that come out at 5:30 and only have less than half hour for a drink ( which outside of happy hour....are expensive)
Great food and the drinks are damn good. The staff always, always treats you well. Very professional and attentive. I've never had a bad time at the Red Caddy. I've gotten to know Joe (the owner) over the years. He does a fantastic job keeping the food unique and his wife Jamey keeps the Cadillac decor chique, creative and ever-changing. Gentlemen-this is a solid date spot. Nice red mood lighting and chill music (+ live music on weekends). Come check this place out for yourself!
Ehhhh, ok at best. Happy hour, pretty much non existent. No deals. Fish tacos pretty good, lobster fajitas expensive and just ok. Wont be returning any time soon.
Always a great experience. Took some friends here for the first time. You know you have that taco game on lock when they take a bite, eyes get wide, and they say wow! They loved the tequila too! Flavorful and fun. PB and J tequila was a hit. Me and my SO are regulars here but..looks like we got 2 more folks turned onto RC.
Staff and drinks great ..wonderful service great mood..but the tacos were bad ..very bland and just had no flavor..will not order that again really they were on the horrible side ....BTW I had fish tacos how do you mess that up.
When the tortilla chips come warm, which they do, you're in for a treat. The hot sauce is very good but the guacamole is my favorite. I've had terrific fish tacos and some excellent appetizers. The margaritas are another great choice. It gets crowded, come early.
