Very disappointed with this company, I expected more from them. Lack of communication between supervisors, trainees don t know how to do their job, instead of signing you up for success they sign you up for failure. Very messy environment, no strict guidelines, they let everyone do whatever they want. They don t care about the customers they only care about the free treats they receive.

Have you ever done business with a company that thought they were great, but they couldn t see how bad they really are? Well, this is BusinessSolver. Your call is very important to us. They said this every couple of minutes while I was on the phone for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Their upload file to the Insurance companies are a real problem which results in delayed payments. Their website is filled with excellence statements including Malcom Baldridge standards but it is clear that BusinessSolver is very good at marketing, not customer service or excellence. You have to work really hard to call the corporate office to complain, and even then their 515 number is a Media Relations person.

Called twice today. First time on hold for over 20 minutes. Decided to use their call back function. 5 hours later no call back. Called again and on hold for 43 minutes. Used the call back function for the second time today. No call back. Ridiculous. Update your antiquated system, hire more employees and help the people calling that need it.

An excellent workplace staffed with caring, engaged individuals. I didn't visit for long, but during my time there I was shown enormous courtesy and engagement by staff. The employees appear quite happy and I'm certain that energy translates into their produce. A++ for an excellent business model AND excellent workforce.

I gave a one star honest rating. Brutal, but honest. It was deleted. You lived up to every word of it then some. Can't complete the most basic tasks correctly. Will cash your check and still show a balance for days. Will cash your check and fail to get coverage for up to a month and a half, in which you have to pay out of pocket and be 'reimbursed' (partially) by the provider. When asked a question, they know nothing other than what their 'system' is. Ask why something didn't go right, they don't know why.
This is the product of 'everyone gets a trophy'. These people shouldn't be in business. Idiocracy is around the corner, get your Brawndo ready.

EDIT: To address businessolvers' response.I have called directly. Many times. It's ineffective. Only after dealing with this for a month did I post this review. I received a call from a 'higher up''two days ago saying he would contact me in 24 hours. That deadline was yesterday morning.

It's over a month, I have to send my SECOND check in, and I STILL don't have all my benefits.

Terrible customer service. I was lied to, misinformed, and cant speak to any supervisor. Never get calls back from the phone que, so anytime you need to speak to a representative you have to wait on hold for hours. Worst benefit consultants ever.

I've been lied to, given misinformation, and let down every time I contact my Cobra representative. I have recordings, they also have recordings but it means nothing even though they made mistakes. I lost coverage for several months because of their incompetence. I made payments that didn't go through. I called over the phone to get it resolved and was re-assured it went though, only to know that it didn't and my coverage was terminated. Appeal for reinstatement took 1 whole month. YES! 30 days is what's standard. I'm still not covered to date, it's been 3 months of issues and paying online is no longer an option for me. I can't even get someone in charge to speak to me and acknowledge that they screwed up and made me loose coverage for months. Talking to the reps got me no where. I have no choice but to continue paying for coverage because they took my money already despite not being covered at all for the last 3 months. It's virtually theft and they say can only retrograde coverage by 30 days. I was never covered to begin with.

Every time I call, it's someone different and they aren't helpful with any kind of resolution of issues. Linsey, Payton, Dallas, Miles, Stacey were people who seemed helpful but were not. Any real decisions are made by other departments whom you can't talk to. Very emotionally frustrating and stressful to be in this situation. I wish they can move away from their current payment system. Call me before terminating coverage despite my previous attempts to make payments. And actively follow-up and quickly respond to decisions such as appeals and other issues alike.

As an end user of Benefitsolver, I can say that this company's products and services are terrible. It takes 5-10 days for them to review documentation. If it is rejected (like in my case), you get a system automated message it was rejected. You are then forced to cal them and find out the details. Much better product offerings by other companies. On similar services, I can get personalized feedback within 2-3 business days.

I found an error that I caused. I submitted it as soon as I found the error which was the same day. I was told it would take 3-5 days to get the issue resolved. Fast forward 7 days later and the issue is still not resolved. Was told that maybe it will be resolved by Monday welp thats another 5 days away. This left me and the health care carrier on the line looking baffled by what we were being told. In this modern age of computing what can't be corrected within few key strokes and a couple of mouse clicks.

Worst benefit company ever. Can't set up an hsa, which I have been working on for 10 weeks. Money is coming out of check and going nowhere. Everytime I call, when I eventually get through, they say it will take 2 to 5 business days and then it is still not solved. Their actions are extremely incompetent if not criminal.

Calling the toll-free number is an exercise in futility. After holding forever they still don't answer the phone. If your luck with them is a good as mine has been, you'll find them hanging up on you while you're on hold.

Icky music with the repeated recording saying "Your call is important to us. Please stay on the line and an agent will be with you shortly.".... Yeah, right. 2 hours later I'm still waiting. Now, THAT makes you KNOW you call is important.

And then you get to hear "Want to avoid waiting on hold for a representative? Simply press 1 and we will hold your place in the queue and call you back at the number you desire as soon as an agent becomes available."

Yeah, right. I tried that. And tried that. And tried that. And I'm still waiting for that phone call that never came.

Obviously they're not interested in helping anyone but themselves.

My husband was laid off from work over a month ago. Our Cobra is still not active. We have called multiple times. The last time we called, we were assured Cobra would be active by 1:00am tomorrow morning . That was a week ago. We called three days ago and they had no record of us. However, we have made two payments, each in the amount of over $2,400, and we are still paying for medical expenses out of pocket. It s a shame that my husband s former employer is paying for this incompetent service.

Do not use this company. It's been 18 days and they still have not enrolled my daughter and I on my husband's health plan. We were supposed to be transferred to this new plan. I called many times, they admitted they did not transmit our info in error. We need to go to the doctor and are paying the premiums but no coverage yet. They said there's no supervisor or escalation process and I just have to wait the time out. The insurance company UHC says Businessolver can call them to get us enrolled in light of the issue. Businesssolver refused to do this. Terrible customer service, no one cares, have to wait on hold for a long time or wait for a call back, no supervisor to speak with. I tried to get important info about the plan they could not answer the questions. If you care about your employees or yourself, do not use this company. If I could zero star I would but it's not an option here.

This is a horrible company.

This is a horrible company.

My COBRA account management was recently transferred to Businessolver. Their website malfunctioned during the transfer taking double payments for health and dental coverage.

To add insult to injury Businessolver charged me two different $2 "convenience fees" for what was the least convenient, absolutley worst, bill paying experience I have ever had.

To top it off they refuse to provide reciepts for any payments. The Worst!
-------------------------------------
I just got a call from Businessolver. They have no intention of issuing a receipt for the COBRA premiums I paid. That leaves me without the ability to seek reimbursement from my HSA account.

This is a bad company. No concept of customer service, not even the most basic of customer service.

Calling to get Cobra Insurance information for a client that recently lost their spouse. Was on hold for 45 minutes. No information available online without creating a login as an employee. Is there a live person anywhere to be found these days?
