I recently bought a vehicle from Brown's Fairfax Mazda, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase and service. Jamal was the kind salesman that I worked with. I brought family with me, and Jamal treated everyone with kindness and respect. He showed us around the lot to show us different cars even on a rainy day (per our request). He was very fair and did not try to tip toe around anything when we sat down to discuss prices. Andrew helped me get a much better rate than I could find myself. I had a great experience all around and was out with a new car in 3 hours (very fast by car buying standards).

Have had consistently great experience with Brown'...

Have had consistently great experience with Brown's Mazda. We bought our car from them while moving here from overseas and they made it convenient and easy. Even let our family pick us up from the airport in the car before we had signed for it. Service department is friendly and efficient. Just went in for a problem that was under warranty and needed a part ordered for. They gave me a loaner car and fixed the problem as soon as the part was in. When I picked it up it had been washed and vacuumed. Great place.

My daughter negotiated price on a CX-3 with Tyler Hovey the salesman at this dealership over two day via texting so she has written record of the deal but when we went there to do the paperwork , Mr. Hovey was absent even though we agreed upon an appointment time earlier in the day. The other salesman would not honor the deal agreed upon by Mr. Hovey and raised the price by 2K. Please stay away from this dealership, they don't honor their deals.

I was dealt with both Sarah (over email) & Brandon (in person) and they were both great! I didn't feel pressured and they were both friendly, patient, and a lot of help. Oh, and I got GREAT price for my new Mazda3! I live in MD but I've been telling everyone that I didn't mind driving down to Fairfax because the service I got was AWESOME! Even though they didn't have the color I wanted at the time Brandon made sure I was able to get it the very next day and definitely beat the other dealers' prices.

I just finalized my deal. Rickey Lawrenson made my experience worth my purchase. Hes old school and made it clear from the start. He wanted to earn my business. I never felt pressured and he walked me through the whole process. Derik the sales manager also helped the process along.

If your looking for a pre-owned car give these guys a chance.

***After I went the process on and a pre-approval at my bank. Monday morning my bank was not straight forward. I thought my deal was going to fall through and I was going to be paying a crazy interest rate. I called and spoke Chanda Benton and Sarah Burger in Finance. They jumped into to action and got a better rate. They saved the day and some money for me***

Worked with Obi and he was super helpful, answered all my questions and filled me in on things I didn t even think to ask. Never felt pressured or rushed. Chanda the business manager was also really knowledgeable, helpful, and patient with my 100 questions. Best experience I ve had at a dealership.

Sooooooo...I've been a Mazda guy for a while. I lo...

Sooooooo...I've been a Mazda guy for a while. I love my 3, but it's getting a bit old. I went to the dealership to look for a new car, and no one helped me. Employees were standing around, joking with each other. No car for me, apparently.

But I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt anyway. Every store has an off day, right? So instead of buying a new car, I decided to fix some of the nagging problems with my old 3 and call it good, so I called this place up and booked an appointment for 7:30am for a brake job and some tires. Normally, I wouldn't go to a dealership for this, but I'm new in town, and my apartment won't allow me to work on my car on site.

The day of my appointment. My girlfriend brings my car in for me, and right away, first guy she talks to seems irritated to even check her in. That's your job, dude. Take her info with no attitude. It's not hard. Then they give her the estimate for what it's going to cost (brake rotors/pads and tires). Almost two hours later. Appointment at 7:30, estimate given after 9. Seriously? It took you two hours to estimate how much brakes and tires cost?? And the fun didn't stop there.

Long story short, she didn't get out of there until almost 4. Like 8 hours sitting in an cramped waiting room. No one gave her any updates, no one helped. At least twice, when she asked for updates, they claimed they couldn't even find the guy that was responsible for making the repairs. Hilarious.

Brought my car into Good Year a couple years ago: about an hour to change the tires. Went to Midas for brakes: 2 hours for front and back job...and they apologized for the delay. Meanwhile, Mazda takes over 8.

Suffice it to say, I'm done with this place. Ignore me when I look for a car, make it incredibly inconvenient to fix my car, I've decided to go elsewhere.

Maybe I'll even try a Honda (from someone completely unrelated to this Chantilly monstrosity). I hear Civics are fun.

My son purchased his first car - a certified pre-owned Mazda this spring and we liked the sales experience at Brown's so much I went back this week to trade in my 2007 Prius for a 2016 certified Mazda 3 i sport.
I received excellent sales service from Baz Mohammad - found the car I wanted and got a fair deal on the trade-in - all on a holiday weekend.

I highly recommend Brown s Fairfax Mazda for anyone looking to buy a Mazda and/or for servicing. For sales, ask for Gino - he is honest, genuinely cares about his customers, and is easy to work with. I live in Richmond, VA and shopped around before deciding on Brown s Fairfax Mazda. They were able to accommodate us on short notice and I was extremely satisfied with the entire process and resulting deal. I walked out with the exact car model, trim, color, features, etc that I wanted on the same day (brand new 2018 Mazda CX-5). I recently had my first servicing appointment (complimentary) and also had Apple CarPlay installed. I didn t need to wait long even though I asked for the installation of Apple CarPlay after showing up for the servicing appointment. Everything is running smoothly with my car and I couldn t be happier. Brown s Fairfax Mazda really takes care of you!

Body shop finished ahead of schedule/ Only glitch was between front office and body shop. USAA sent insurance check. Front office did not tell body shop about the check, which led to confusion at payment time. Body shop had to call USAA, then retrieve the check from the front office before I could get my car.
Greg Harmon did his usual magnificent job in managing the maintenance on my car!

Good dealer overall for being polite, very responsive (some of them, not all of them), fair in new sales deals/negotiations, and thoughtful Service Advisors, but not that great for thoroughness in Pre-delivery vehicle inspection completion, care in handling of new vehicles (meaning don't ding or scratch it before giving it to customer), and washing vehicles. And on another note, they also need to tell either the service techs or the person who washes/vacs vehicles not to steal from customers vehicles (even if only small items, like ink pens, coin change, towels, etc...) during service. The person(s) seems to take what they think you won't notice.

We just bought a car from Browns Fairfax Mazda last weekend and am happy to report this was a pain-free experience (I cannot say the same for other dealerships, who gave me heartburn after just a couple of minutes on the phone). Thanks to all, but especially to David Chung who was very easy going, let us drive around for quite some time, gave us a good price, did not hard-sell the add-ons but gave us a better option than the car we found online! I had a great experience buying a new car (with a trade-in) at this dealership - twice! Both times I got the price I wanted after doing a little research, and prompt and courteous service. Most recently they helped me out of a problem with a Mazda I had purchased at another, closer dealership, whose service was very poor. After a week of frustration dealing with a new car with mechanical problems without satisfaction from the other dealer, I drove to Brown's, explained the situation, and walked out with a new car in an hour.

She was available to speak on the phone and answer all questions immediately upon my reaching out about the car, and she was knowledgeable, kind and very helpful throughout the entire experience from our first email exchange through the final car purchase. There was never any pressure from her or Brown's Fairfax Mazda to make a purchase, and the test drive experience was seamless. Would highly recommend working with her for a great experience.

David Chung was my sales associate and he was very helpful with scheduling my test drive on a used 2016 Mazda6. He was responsive over email and text and very friendly in person. The dealership even let me take the car for an overnight test drive, which was very useful to take the car along routes I would normally drive in daily commute.

My time in the finance office took longer than I would like (~ 3 hours) though that was partially my own fault. If you know exactly what you want in terms of financing, service contracts, extras, etc, it should be smoother.

Overall a good experience, I am really enjoying my new car.

The last car I purchased was in 2000. Nearly 18 years ago!!! Much has changed in the car buying process...for the better. They picked me up at the metro for an immediate test drive and after I quickly walk-through the inventory, I had mine selected. I was an educated buyer and knew the other cars available with similar features. They matched the price from another dealer and offered me better financing terms than I had already secured. I was out of there in just over 3 hours. No issues. My sales agent, the sales manager, and business agent processing the final paperwork made the experience very pleasant and hassle free. David (my sales guy) made sure I was comfortable with all the new technology in the car and programed everything before I drove off. He also made sure I had all my floor mats, extra key fob and owners manual (very important). I would recommend.

The Fairfax staff is great and made my experience easy both times. They worked with me to get me the car that I wanted with hassle. We bought a Mazda CX5 from Debbie Hefty at Brown's Fairfax Mazda yesterday. I must say it was the smoothest, fastest, and most pleasant car-purchasing experience I've ever had. I initially spoke with Debbie on the phone asking about specific cars in the inventory but ending up discussing my family's needs to also focus on the models and trim that would work best for our needs. At the lot, Debbie was as friendly and great to work with as on the phone. She was knowledgeable about the cars but left us to make our own decisions. We felt no pressure. Likewise, after we chose a car, the time it took with Debbie and then financing to get us out of the door was smooth and easy. And to top off a great day, we got a great car for a great price!! Thank you Debbie and Brown's Fairfax Mazda. I would highly recommend this dealership and Debbie.

I cannot say enough great things about this car dealership. I purchased a CX-5 from Browns Fairfax Mazda a year ago and had the absolute best car buying experience. Every interaction since then has exceeded my expectations. Car appointments are automatically scheduled and they cannot be more accommodating if you need to change it. I get several reminders of my appointment time which is hugely appreciated. The prices for service are extremely fair and the service advisors are SO friendly! They give accurate wait times and I leave with my car looking and running in tip top shape. I would recommend this dealership to anyone and actually have called my family after both service visits I ve had to tell them what a positive experience I had at Browns Fairfax. There are Mazda dealers closer to where I live but I will continue to visit this location. You guys are awesome!

Great place to purchase a vehicle. Jamal Henderson was my salesman and he was excellent. Not pushy AT ALL. Went out of his way to make me feel as comfortable as possible. Throughout the entire process I felt like I was hanging out with a friend and not being pitched to by a salesman; no pressure at all. I had shopped around at other dealerships first (including Ford and other Mazda dealers) and been really put off by the "pushy sales attitude" which does NOT exist at Brown's Fairfax Mazda. The negotiation process went smoothly and financing was no hassle too. I have no experience with the service department yet but my first servicing is free so I have that too look forward to.

I have been thinking about buying a cx-5 SUV for sometime and was primarily shopping online. I got quotes from multiple dealers and the quote from this dealership was the best. I wanted a roof rack and the manager 'Doug Clemens' replied back that they currently do not have a car in stock with roof rack already installed and they would be happy to install it for me.
I was very impressed that he did not try to hide the fact that the car with the exact specs is not in the lot, as some dealers do, to just get the customer into the dealership.
On the 'D' day, I called and requested them to install the roof rack before the sale and they actually honored my request (some dealers refused - they could only install it after the sale). The sales consultant 'Justing clearfield' was very helpful and made the car buying process very smooth and relaxing, without any pressure Tactics.
Overall, am very very happy with my purchase and car buying experience with Brown's Fairfax Mazda.

Not a big issue, but one thing which I thought they should have told me is about the trial period duration for the SIRIUS Satellite Radio.not sure, how to cancel it after the trial period, but not a big deal.

Oh BTW, the quote from their sister dealership (Brown's Chantilly Mazda) was almost $1200 more and am disappointed to say that I visited that dealership and felt like nobody was interested in selling a car.

Baz Mohammad was my salesman, And he was absolutely fantastic!! This guy is awesome as he made my car buying experience so easy! From the moment we walked in - he was kind, knowledgeable, and extremely patient with us. We did not feel pressured and I believe he gave us the best deal we could find.

Additionally, the sales manager and finance manager were also very good. Very professional environment overall. We had the best and fastest car buying experience thus far!

I have to say first that I am a person who prefers to work with people who are good to other people and who understand what it means to serve people. David Chung is definitely that guy! Great communication before my appointment (call and email), car was ready when I arrived for my test drive, he was cool, calm and patient, his finance guy was able to match USAA and NFCU offers, he was personable and friendly, and he had no "sales man feeling." I bought a beautiful liquid silver Mazda Mx-5 Grand Touring and I love it! I will buy the next one from him too! Brown's Fairfax Mazda is lucky to have him.

I recently bought a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle and couldn't be happier with my experience. The used car team, especially Rickey Lawrenson, made the process easy and smooth unlike my preview car purchases elsewhere. Negotiating was tough, but ultimately fair. I never felt pressured to rush into a decision. The business manager made financing simple and was able to answer all of my questions.

The 2018 CX-5 I bought is fantastic, everything as advertised. I highly recommend Rickey and his team for prompt professionalism and welcoming customer service.

Since my last car was a Mazda it made it easier to decide on which car I wanted to purchase. I picked out my vehicle doing a search and located the car at this dealership. I arrived to inquire about the vehicle and really didn't need any time to make a decision. Debbie Hefty was the specialist who assisted me with my purchase, she is very nice, honest and upfront. The transaction was very easy and smooth and did not take much time especially when you have your decision already made. Very happy: I got a great deal on a used 2014 Mazda CX-5 at Brown's Fairfax Mazda. I dreaded buying a car, but this dealership was a pleasant surprise and worth the trip from Baltimore. They took care of 99% of the headache of buying in VA and registering in MD. Salesman Nenad Milinarevic was affable, gregarious, honest, and even offered to give me a lift from the Metro if I needed it (also gave me locations where to buy good European food). His manager gave me an even better deal than I expected. Finance manager Chanda Benton was generous and patient and friendly. Really glad I bought a car here--it also passed MD inspection with no trouble. I will think of them first for my next car purchase!

Very good experience over all. Nenad was very professional and courteous. I was kind of rush looking for a used car, but I didn t have much time to test the cars one by one. I contacted several local dealers online and Nenad was the most patient and helpful one. On Saturday evening, I suddenly decided to go for a test drive without any appointment. Nenad was there and he received us with great hospitality. After the test drive I decided to buy that vehicle. On the following Monday, I got the car that looks like a new one, and all the procedures and paperwork was done. I m glad that I got Nenad to help me!

Had a really bad experience with my previous Mazda...

Had a really bad experience with my previous Mazda dealer and (as a first time Mazda buyer) i had vowed to never buy another mazda because of it. However, Browns Fairfax Mazda completely flipped my opinion around and for the first time since buying my car - i'm actually glad to have it. My experience with Browns Fairfax was excellent - I was treated well and was even given a rental car while my car inspected for recalls. Just goes to show you what good customer service will do for the customer!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I am so happy with my purchase, but even happier with my experience and the service at this dealership.

After a very stressful few months of constant research and budgeting as I neared the end of my Nissan Altima Coupe lease, I finally decided on the purchase of a new 2015 Mazda3 S Touring at Brown's Fairfax Mazda. Before making this decision, I had contemplated every possible option; buying my car off the lease, buying a used car, leasing a new car, or buying a new car...for multiple brands/models. By the time I contacted Brown's Mazda, I was exhausted, stressed, extremely informed, and in no mood for stereotypical car salesman "rubbish." Barry and Paris made me feel comfortable and never tried to up-sell or sneak extra costs into the equation. I must have spoken to Barry 4-5 times a day for a week straight, and every call was just as friendly and helpful as the first one.

Everyone I met and spoke to at the dealership was friendly, genuine, and upfront. I got an amazing deal on my car, and have already received sincere Thank You follow up emails from both Paris and the General Manager. Now it's my turn to thank YOU! For anyone who is looking for a Mazda, Brown's Fairfax Mazda is the place to go!

Gave this place another try (had a mix-up with an appointment a long time ago) and could not be happier. They took care of me and I got a great price on the oil change and state inspection. They also notified me of a recall safety issue and fixed it while I waited.

Happy to go there again with my and my wife's cars.

I've taken it there to be serviced anytime I need anything done and they are nothing but wonderful and professional. This past week I had an accident and hit a piece of debris in the road, cracking my front passenger side rim, knocking part of my suspension loose, and blowing out both tires. I had my car towed to Brown's and they fixed everything good as new in one and a half business days. They kept me up to date on everything with phone calls and I got my baby back good as new. I love Brown's Fairfax Mazda and would definitely recommend. :)

Amazing experience yesterday at the used car lot. Both our salesperson (Nenad) and branch manager were super friendly and helpful. We came to see a particular car we found online, they answered all questions, we both did a test drive and bought the car the same day. They accommodated our baby's weird day schedule and offered really good financing. No pushy sales there, they know their product (we bought a Mazda) and they offer more coverage/warranty on used car than other places we talked to. We drove off in our new Mazda that same day, it was made ready for us during the time it took to set up financing.

We weren t sure how much we would need to put down however, they were able to get us a no money down deal and we walked out with the keys in hand! Just finished up working with Dane Beunier at the service center, we brought the car in for a paint and interior treatment. During the initial inspection they found a ding in the door, with absolutely no hassle they had the ding repaired at their body shop and completed the treatment in less than 2 days! It was hassle free & painless especially considering they could have easily blamed us for the ding and refused to repair it! Thanks again Dane.

Very patient and was only interested in what was best for me. He suggested a vehicle I hadn t even seen online beforehand and it was the one I left with! I came to Brown's Mazda in Fairfax and was really impressed with the personal approach taken to remedy my transmission issues. My 5th gear was no longer working and Dane Beunier took time to get me set up with one of his most knowledgeable mechanics SumChi (sp) who was able to diagnose and repair my tranny back to factory working order. During the repair it came to the mechanics attention that my ball joints had worn out. I had just recently gotten an alignment and was worried about having to spend another $100 on getting a second alignment. Thankfully SumChi's attention to detail in replacing the ball joints carefully getting the new joints aligned exactly how the original ones were prevented me from needing another alignment! Any time I need to get factory service done I will definitely return to Brown's in Fairfax. They are clearly a competent team of Mazda enthusiasts who take pride in their work. Totally satisfied customer here!

I own a 2005 mazda 6. It needed some minor repairs done to it and I had scheduled an appointment A WEEK in advance to come to Fairfax, Mazda to get the repairs done. I drove my car to the "steal-ership" at approximately 10:00 a.m Saturday morning. I went and spoke to an arrogant SOB inside the repair department. He has a small mustache and wavy light hair. Just look for the person who must spend an hour on their hair every day and you will know who I am speaking about. Nonetheless, he asked me to leave the car with them for a couple hours because he said they were running a little behind. I did this and gave them a call 2 hours later. They picked up and said that the mechanics had ALL GONE OFF TO LUNCH?... and no one was available at this time. They asked for a couple more hours. I gave them a couple more hours and called once again and they still said that there were other cars before me in line. All this time my keys had been left in the ignition and the car was parked in the exact spot I had left it in the morning. THEY DIDN'T even move my car and left it unlocked! I went back 6 hours after I had dropped it off and saw this. On top of all this, the SOB was even hostile and angry when I confronted him on the issue. This is by far one of the worst excuses for a dealership in the area. Avoid this place at all cost or it is your own loss!

I had a bad experience at another body shop when I had to get my bumper fixed after I hit a deer, so I decided to go to Mazda to repair the damage. Gary Morin was amazing with helping me get what I needed from my car insurance and he regularly updated me on what was going on with my car. I had a really bad experience at another dealer, where I almost purchased terrible car at a terrible price. So, I was pretty hesitant and skeptical during the whole process of looking at and purchasing a car. Everyone was welcoming, but Nenad was the one who helped me out and he was the best! If you're looking for a used car, you should definitely ask for him. He was patient, he knew his stuff, and he was not pushy at all. I went in to buy my first car. I was looking at one in particular, but I left with a different one...a better one. It was a major upgrade and it made sense financially. I'm so happy with my purchase and the service I received. I feel like everyone was genuinely trying to help me find what I was looking for. Chanda in Finance was also sweet and extremely helpful. She explained everything patiently and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend this place!! My first car is amazing!

We had a great experience purchasing our used 2016 Mazda CX-5 from Rickey Lawrenson at Brown's Fairfax Mazda. Their policy about making sure you know the price up front without adding a bunch of hidden fees was refreshing and made for a much less stressful buying experience. Even though my first choice vehicle was sold before we could get there, Rickey made sure to communicate that with me beforehand and help me to find another one that met my expectations. The Brown's slogan "Buy Happy" was true for us!

I purchased a CPO in Dec 2016. 6 months later unfortunately it had to be towed for a censor issue. I had my autonomy (pun intended) back within 24 hours. After a few road bumps along the way, they compensated the service for me. Was very pleased with their service and willingness to listen to my concerns!
