Great location in a nice building that is right next to a beautiful and picturesque windmill that looks like it is an authentic windmill.
Beyond that, it is a busteling business and one taste of the wares and you understand why.
It is a brewery, so as expected, they have beer. But the beer is just beyond good. It is great! We had a flight of beer.
Allthe beers on the "flight" are unique and do not overpower each other. Take you to a whole new level of beer enthusiast. The flavors, notes, and all that.
And then you have the sides... as in bites to go with the beers. Those were also excellent. Ox sausage, dry salami, the cheese, and the boiled eggs.
Just SUPERB! I would say a must stop to check out all that is offered.

Super nice tent! Delicious beers, you can see the boilers (although many of the beers are also made a little further away). Lots of space outside, now easily accessible even with corona. Also small snacks. I really like the merchandising, hip sweaters and shirts. On the one hand, it is nice that they close quite early, it really is a cocktail tent. However, it is often really full on Friday afternoons, and then you have to find another place after your first beers.

Hands down the best beers in Amsterdam. Try out the Natte, zatte or IJwit! Then move onto the Columbus (also called the truth serum) if you want to go crazy.

Hands down the best local brewery. The bar at the brewery has lost a bit of its charm in recent years, because of expansion and hipsterfication. That is the reason we give four instead of five stars, but if you have never been before you will not know the difference. Best place to taste all that this brewery has to offer.

Great local brewery since 1985 with idyllic windmill taproom location. Excellent staff knowledge and selection of styles on tap with more in bottles. Leap day crowd was loving life on a beautiful evening. Cheers.

I have tried almost all the types of beer they have and the truth is that they are all very rich. In addition, the atmosphere is unbeatable, when the sun rises it is a great place to have a drink, thanks to its outdoor terrace.

Brewery tour was superb, our guide was clearly passionate about the beer and very informative. You get a token for a beer in the tap room to boot, which has a great atmosphere and is quite large. Lots of interesting bar snacks on offer such as dutch cheeses, sausage and whole boiled eggs (not ostrich unfortunately)

If you go to Amsterdam, include this brewery on your visit. Unmissable!!!!

Too bad it's so "far" from the classic tours because it really deserves a visit: historic brewery housed in the only windmill in Amsterdam.

The culinary proposal is scarce but people go there just to drink.

Definitely an experience to be redone! But maybe next time on less busy times. Very nice is the selection of 5 beers that they sell to try their various types. They also sell various cheeses and sausages to eat. The guy at the checkout in the food area I found him quite grumpy and unnecessarily rude but this does not affect the overall positive experience!

Brewery distilled in Amsterdam. Actually, a T-shirt looks good. The set of trial drinks is sold out from 3 o'clock in the weekend from 2 o'clock opening of the store (the glass does not turn around). If you are planning to visit on weekends, be careful.

Beer is divine, appetizers are simple but tasty. In general, even during the day there are a lot of people here and you will have to stand in line. But unlike many places in Amsterdam, it is worth it (if you like beer, of course)

Of the best Dutch beers. It is ordered inside the premises and is taken at the tables outside with other people (Biergarten style), you can also ask for something to snack, (salami, hard boiled egg, etc). Recommendable!!

Nice beers in a characteristic setting, but extremely crowded. The staff are sometimes particularly brisk, hinging on rude. In the last couple of years, I have avoided going after 4 pm.

Beautiful windmill with some great selection of beer offered, mind you that tour closes at 4 on Sundays. The beer selection is pretty difficult as they have lots of different types. On the name of food, only few things are available. And for vegetarians there is nothing except cheese and peanuts.

While known by many to offer one of the best beers in town, the 5 x beer tasting platter is permanently attached to my itinerary when visiting AMS
