Great place to have special beers. Legal environment. Loved the balcony. You have to pay everything on time. Food in one place, drink in another, which displeased me a bit, but nothing much.

IJwit!

We walked 40 minutes to try their beer and eat dinner. Arrived at 8:10 pm on a Saturday night and they were closed. Lots of people hanging around finishing their brews, but we were very disappointed not to try their craft beer selections. However, the staff directed us next door and we had a lovely meal (the brewery only had snacks). The next door restaurant had a nice selection of craft beers and after trying a small sample of several beers, chose one we liked and really enjoyed our dinner and being served at this sit down restaurant.

One of the peculiarities of this type of breweries is that they do not play music, so the atmosphere is created by the bustle of people and believe me that you will not need anything more than to go for another round.

It is a factory so they have a variety of own beers that you can enjoy from the barrel and the site is located below a typical mill in the area.

They close early type 8 pm so you should get to precopear to that place.

Perhaps my favourite drinking establishment in Amsterdam. Their beer is better than good, and the local snacks are simple and genuine. (I always go for the dry sausage.) Can get crowded.

Be sure to visit it and try their beers. The food is worth nothing and is expensive but as anywhere like this there. The experience is purely beer and is great. In addition, the mill and the surrounding canal give a very nice atmosphere.
The atmosphere of people is brutal.
It is reached by tram in 10 minutes from the center

A very quirky bar which is located by a windmill, spectacular range of ales, which are all brewed onsite in their own brewery! Tours are available but we didn't do the tour on this occasion.

Tried the Flink and the New England Mango IPA. Both really good. However, when I got there I ordered a flight at 5:01 PM and they said they stopped serving flights at 5. I told her it was my last night in Amsterdam and the brewery was the last stop of my trip, but to no avail. Did not expect this kind of service in Amsterdam of all places. Seems like the place attracts a lot of tourists and don t care as much anymore. Also, try Bar Langendijk next door where they serve beers from another local brewery called Amsterdam Brewboys. They serve flights after 5pm, and the servers are way nicer!

BT is ahead of the curve. I first visited 4 years ago when craft brew was just beginning to make its way to Europe. The place has grown since then, but the quality and value has remained the same: an average pour is less than 4 euros; the ingredients in the beer are fresh and balanced; and the mix of locals and tourists is just the way it should be.

Fantastic craft beer.

Fantastic craft beer.
I recommend trying the variety of tastings of the various beers they produce.

Cool building with great beer and some snacks if you get hungry. It was a busy place but if you are in town weather you like beer or not you need to stop by for a visit. It is not too far away from the city center.

The place is very traditional and the bier is of course good, however if you go on a Saturday afternoon is super crowded so you will stay outside (and if it is cold is not pleasant). I suggest to go during the week to enjoy it more.

Very large selection of beers, all the ones I've tasted are very good. I took a testing lot (with 5 small glasses of different beers) and it was really nice. Their terrasse is very enjoyable during summer, they even have umbrellas. The place is generally quite crowded but there's no struggle to find a seat and no waiting line in the toilets.

Awesome place with gorgeous beer and tastiest snacks. Ox smoked raw and grilled sausages recommended! For first time take the set of 5 types of beer and then choose the best you like to order again) or even have one more set, its up to you :) i've got sweatshirt and glasses as souvenirs to keep nostalgia in my heart :D

A must-do! Best Amsterdam beer experience. If you want to have a local glance with actually good local brewed beers (forget about Heineken, Amstel , etc). This is the place! Beers are all below 3. And the snacks are also Dutch style. My recommendation if you are going for first time is the sample trial. If you want to stick with just one then go for Columbus. Not much room though, so better go early to be comfortable inside during cold/windy days

I really liked beer, it has good variety. We did not eat anything but we came that many had a barbaric bite of salami and cheese.
The place is great, under the mill and surrounded by canals.
Inside they have good bar and good atmosphere. Excellent place to go to relax after a day of walking.
