Nice place to drink beer and chat with friends or total strangers. There are long tables with benches and if you want to sit you sometimes have to be patient and wait for a group to leave.

The beers from 't IJ are tasty and you order them yourself at the bar. There is a mixed audience from all over the world. Recommended.

What to say, one of my favorite places in Amsterdam. Craft beers of the tastiest, pleasant atmosphere some very tasty pepperoni. The only negative and perhaps part of the charm of the place is its restricted schedules. They close early but as I say this prevents it from becoming a problematic place.

It is quite far from the center, but it is worth taking the tram and go there to see one of the few mills that are preserved in the city. The place is usually crowded and has a variety of craft beers at fairly affordable prices for what the city is. It also has an outdoor terrace and it is curious that it has a bar for beers and a different one where you can order classic cheeses and sausages to peck. Very good place to have something.

Great beer and nice location. Very busy so don't expect the bartenders to chat with you about the beer options (heard someone ask for a suggestion and get told by the bartender to look at the menu as they were too busy to offer info - was glad I knew what I wanted!).

Nice location, good atmosphere and equal at 14:00 when the brewery opened was the same pressure. 10 people came in!

We were already there at 1 p.m. and assumed that it would already be open. 14:00 is a little late for beer on a Sunday ....

Beautiful pub housed in an old historic mill. Many craft beers, still made with the old and unfiltered methods, starting from 2.50.
Extremely efficient and courteous staff, both indoors and out, there should also be something to tease, but I only tried the beer.
Also recommended for those who do not like beer just for the beauty of the mill.

Very nice bar next to the brewery, beautiful location next to the river and under an old mill. prices are very decent and service fast. Gets quite busy but place is big enough to never make it too busy. Good menu is decent and serving sizes are good. And of course the beers are excellent. A recommendation for any beer loving tourist or native.

Brewery located at the foot of an old mill. We reached it by bus and then used the tram to get back to the center.
Table service is provided only to clear the table, so go for a drink personally to order, pay.
We took the "cutting board" with the various samples of 5 beers (25cl glasses), the taste was good and not very alcoholic.
The place is full but there wasn't much mess, nice place, recommended for a drink with friends

Above average, but slightly disappointing. The beer was good, not amazing. Couldn't run a tab. The service wasn't amazing. We came from next door which I actually found to be a better place to hang out

Brewery located in the only windmill in the city of Amsterdam. There are internal rooms and a large area of outdoor tables, where you can enjoy a craft beer on hot and sunny days. The choice of beers is very wide and can be tasted together with a choice of things to eat. To visit! The beers are great!

The brewery under the De Gooyer mill

The brewery under the De Gooyer mill

I was in this brewery with my girlfriend during our vacation in Amsterdam. The property is located at the foot of the De Gooyer mill, the only remaining windmill in the Dutch capital. Inside you can sit and order the typical beers and some salty. We took the "Beer tasting" a selection of 5 beers served on a perforated cutting board. We also took a portion of peanuts. You can also find items such as bags, t-shirts and brewery gadgets.

Recommended for a little 'relaxation in the company of a good beer

Cozy homely atmosphere. Tour is nice to have seen. For the 6 pp you get a nice beer. The tasting is definitely recommended when you can't choose. All snacks are of good quality and locally as was told in the tour.

Before venturing here, know that you drink a LOT and eat LITTLE. Excellent brewery, located under one of the historic mills of Amsterdam, offers one of the best beers in the city at fairly low prices. It offers very few things to eat, many of which are typical. There is no table service, so you need to order at the counter and then take it to one of the free tables (if any). Very popular, especially by tourists.

If you are in Amsterdam you can not help but visit this mill used as a brewery .. a lot of choice and produced as salamini cheeses boiled eggs and wurstel of excellent quality. Not to mention the many types of beers, including the 5 tastes in glasses supported by a wooden rectangle so as to easily bring them to the table, always if you can find a place .. RECOMMENDED
