Staff was rude when we walked up to order, and we were not thrilled by the beer flight. Only liked their darkest beer. Cool place, bad experience.

I came for the tasting beer. They did not want to sell it because they were full. Disappointment for me I'm a tourist. I do not live here. I came by the tasting photos and I was left without trying it. For me that was what mr attracted to come to that place

Place characteristic, the brewery is located adjacent to an old Dutch windmill. Vast selection of craft beers. Inside there is also a small shop where you can buy packs of beer at very affordable prices. Place for lovers of beer and relaxation, to visit absolutely.

Best price for these speciality beers across Amsterdam (you're buying it from the source). Both inside and outside are comfortable to sit. Just remember, little plates to order and closes early evening

Perfect for a refreshing break after walking or riding through the city. Perfect for a beer after work. There is quite space inside and lot of tables outside, indeed It is very busy and caotic but it is worth a visit. The brewery is is built in a mill, at the sunset is very suggestive. The beer is good and there is quite a wide choice.

They make incredible beer with their special yeast. And this is a great location to enjoy, specially if the weather is nice. It has been recently renovated.

Amazing beers, a windmill and a very nice garden with long wooden benches. The snacks, however, were a bit of a letdown.

We always take friends to this brewery because of the beer which is just good.
But this is definitely the last time. Bar staff thinks to be very funny after our friends (who are not Dutch) try to order 3 beers in Dutch which is not even necessary as they are tourists, because that was repeated they said ok you want 9 beers in such a sarcastic way that it wasn't even funny. My friend tried to give a hand "if it's a joke ok" even that hand was refused and then his beer too. They treated him as if he were drunk while they were not.
We both have been working in the hospitality industry for years and we have our own business, the way people treat customers is just rude and nothing more than that.
It was thought that this was "Amsterdam humor", and also ask where I come from, sorry but this humor is definitely not Amsterdam and just got rude !!!
We asked about the manager but he was not there or something.
The beer had a bitter aftertaste, but luckily it did not ruin our day and afterwards we enjoyed hospitality businesses that do provide service as it should ....

Nice place and service. You can have a drink with cheese and sausages. A place to visit when you are in Amsterdam.

One of the best things you can do when in Amsterdam is hop on a tram and jump off here and have a beer along with a sausage and goat cheese degustation. Also quite cheap.

An unexpected and very quiet place in the city center of Amsterdam !! You can not lose this!!

A place of worship and an absolutely must visit. The restaurant closes quite early, so it's worth checking the opening hours beforehand. A lot of Dutch come here, who try not to venture into the tourist center. On site, several different types of beer brewed in the T'IJ brewery - each is worth recommending.

Microbrewery within the city of Amsterdam. It is located in a mill, if I am not mistaken the only one in town. Worth knowing. I just had difficulty asking for something to eat because there was no menu .... Good beers! As it is a little out of the center it seemed to me a place very frequented by city dwellers, which I found very interesting. I recommend! We went to tram! Very easy to get to.

A gorgeous, large, and very lively brewery bar! I drank great beer, and enjoyed the great vibes around. On a late November sunset, plenty of people were also sitting outside. The fact that we're around a windmill adds a lot of mystique.

Really cool brewery. Great special beers. We did the tour at 3:30. It is a little ridiculous to try to get a spot for the tour. You have to line up outside before they open at 2pm and hope that you get a spot. They don t do any sort of reservations in advance, but they probably should. Cool history and the founder still lives above it

This place is the source of the most tasty beer you can find in Amsterdam. Brouwerij t' Ij is a great place to go! Great place where both locals and tourists meet. Make sure you come early, the last round of beer is at 8pm.

Really enjoyed this unique experience. Pretty popular, but service was quick. Enjoyed the raw beef with my beer.

Beautiful brewery pub with some tasty snacks, under a picturesque old windmill. We tried the sausage and cheese. And then the raw beef sausage. Yum!

Beers here were top notch and well on par with many of other brewerys i have been too. Unfortunatly there were one to many loudmouth overseas heros at this location which stopped us doing the tour and having another beer. We found the joint next door much more to our liking. Still worth the visit for a tasting paddle.

Great place to try great beer - I loved the beer tasting selection. 5 of their beers for about 10euros!! Nice atmosphere and I like the way you can buy sausage and cheese to eat with the beer.

Amazing beer that's the important thing, I would recommend to try the Ipas as well. Very good beer that is the most important thing I will also recommend trying the Ipas.

A great brewery in a location by the ij River with an old school windmill. Beers are fantastic. Very nice traditional snacks as well. Recommended!
